[Music] there's a lot of colors I don't know where to go see a lot of colors only feeling blue there's a lot of colors that's within a don't rely on other to get you through them names the dream to know same for me Stan so why they open soon do not take this and [Music] there are a lot of voices jonathan se is too many lots of it playing boy this is only close to the wall that one made it might been quite nice but yeah plain white strange we are seeing lots of pottery out there definitely be back tomorrow on the low tide fine it's a queen no see queen elizabeth is a penny is a modern penny copper one no it's a coin and not far from it probably to pee yeah a new one that's not been in there long anymore just found this it's pretty in it I like that you can see a couple of little thorns here in the water all right that looks to be part of a bass jar I didn't know time that was around ya know that could have been the place job yeah it's a bullet casing looks to be where war one world war ii would say 303 where they don't normally look like that on the bottom don't know about that one any ideas let me know in the comments spot the good find mom hoping it's good anyway can you see that can you see that now it's a ring oh yes it's got some writing on it something can't read that one but the second word says love sadly it looks like a stainless steel ring can't see any hallmarks in it still nice find this one spotting a copy nailed oh yeah you see that embedded in the rust that was I've just found something in the sand I'm actually out in the water paddling away the winds there is data on it but I can't read it the minute I'm sure it's just a modern an old modern coin but actually I don't know oh yeah there's a Queen Elizabeth there I think Bob used to Halfpenny very thin it's a fine nevertheless seems to be lots of pottery shards here some of them do look a bit older as well exactly any pattern oh look at that that's nice it's like a real naval anchor I found the piece similar to that one of the previous videos that's quite nice bottle with a bit of corks still in it don't just bite down here looks like a very fine teacup handle thin and dainty Izzard nicely I'm sure of poori nice pattern one who had a creepy crawly in them all right that one take that yeah I think I found a bigger pipe step what not be come with me anyway erm I see what it's doing [Music] right here's my next look I picked up quite a bit of glass because it's all flats it'll be brilliant for crafting I found one bit of pottery with a bit of pattern on it I found a bottle stopper which says let me read off-camera J a definition co limited I can't read what's in the middle found an old light switch that little plug socket another bit of rubber much what is in just a couple of I really pick these up because they're quite old cuz of the thickness of them but I probably won't be keeping them okay I'll catch you later nice increase of pop down here the patterns interesting this looks like clouds more like the edge of a flower also you have got more interesting pieces of pop coming up now that looks like a tile sadly we got here why I had the idea of coming here quite late so the tide is on its way in we are eyelets bit of rich worth of property marmalade pop or Jam pop yeah we are staying out in our micro camper van no probably come here tomorrow when the tide is at its lowest obviously plenty in the water Perry pottery pottery waters really warm some of it looks like it's got more age to it there's copper nail there cool he's right it will not a copper nil I think we'll definitely be back tomorrow so this video is going to be over two days a little bit that we're doing now with all the tied fully comes in and we'll be here when the tide goes out tomorrow so how it looks looks like might be had to get around here as well oh yeah you know walls there that don't see wool a lot weed around but should be some good stuff hey back again I'm whispering a little bit because I don't want Doug to know because I think he's been trying to find a box top we have found one yet and I just found another key bit of blue glass which is rare I've another little bit of pottery and this one already picked up and look even it because stay there box number because the pattern now on the top that would have been something really nice and a couple bits of brass which I think I can do something with rty so I'm gonna keep them I did with it okay catch you later it's the morning after and we're back in olden castle King Henry the eighth's fort yeah tide should be far out there so we're gonna go and see what we can find come with us a choice waiting to be made too many choices making me afraid [Music] the same for me Stan the show why [Music] not take this personal note just looking around these little corners and let's see what gets gathered up spare a few bits of glass and my about five minutes and that's my first bit of blue and white surprisingly there's not a lot of it here another nice little pieces of sea glass and you see glass I can't see it I've lost it okay just sort of film this just found this a little bit interesting there's a bit of Kapital there love couple nice to behold look at this one oh it's just come apart but they were stuck together that's an old glass they're quite thick we go piece of pop there it seems to have a sea creature living on it I'll put that back all these scallop shells rubbish and this piece that's um right now that's been rolling around and see for a long time well smooth all right with dish pain definitely a bit more being uncovered by the tide last night right just found a little copy with it here me in this win I wonder if that was Henry oak sock what do you think interesting stone lump of iron a little bit of pipe step there see that all going through it not finding much today might be one of those cases where the tide actually covered things over we're just rooting around and all this we did bit you know tight doesn't seem to have gone out as far as we expected though only drops one point six meters here hasn't really exposed a lot so I'm just rooting around under the weeds and see what's been hidden alright I think that's a piece of clay pipe boat which that would have been one of the older ones would have gone up and angled like that sixteen hundred okay I've just spotted another little bit of blue where I have been finding more lots of those black brass rivets but I haven't fie on the wall because I'll see don't it keep seeing the same thing but I've been picking them up because I want them for my projects you see that nestled in the corner there pipes tend to put still on it no makers mark see what else is under there nothing ngo me I can see a nice find and they look to be like a civil war bullet and it is now I'm after Henry the eighth's rain and into the Civil War the Royalists took over that castle as a stronghold and they successfully defended it three times now that is a civil war lead bullet that is a nice find and we can tie it in to when the Royalists were there that's a great point just having a scooch around this area no copper square now in an old pace jar it did find the top of an old poison bottle just a minute ago and he was a really sharp so got rid of it another small piece of clay pipes them this pottery down here sadly most of it seems to be plain white nice bit of Victorian poison bottle blue I love that color blue we've taken that one I'm just wandering around here just written up it's a glass for a minute because it tides coming in so I found another bit like anchors maybe we can put it all together the stories told about here it's amazing you just keep looking over over and you keep finding other little bits all right let's give you some facts about yeah Portland castle it was built by Henry the ape is constructed in 1539 and completed in 1541 form part of his defense system against the French and the Vatican the Roman Empire which he built all around various ports and vulnerable places where the sea entered England no yeah it's a fan-shaped castle built from actual Portland stone and it would have housed 12 big artillery guns which were protected that all that over there very similar to the one on her ass Pitt it's currently closed because of the code 19 situation but reopens the visitors again on the 1st of August I've never been in there for a visit so I think I shall pop down today we're not finding wonderful things there's a couple of nice finds between us particularly like that Civil War palette and the anchor dish with the anchor on found one yesterday do like that found one in South Hampton the other week as well and we know that the Victorian naval wanker I think the next time we visit here will be after a storm and hopefully more turn up us it's actually raining it's forecast to be sunny but it's actually raining have a little mood about for a little bit longer see what we can find anybody lost an iPhone charger now go in the bin another little bit blue light there I just pulled a seaweed back and I'm gonna scrape about with here look another piece of pottery with an angle it's very similar to the piece of fan yesterday nice I like that there's another piece of pottery there on that nice pattern on it oh that seems to be an outlet point for something see that little fish sound cupboard him walking back somewhere safe covered in weed safe there until the toy comes up just found this and that really looks interesting it's like a king's crown with a couple of sales on cows were really nice I'd have to try and research that one whatever is anything to do with the fall very nice well I'm cheap obviously modern weird anyway the other went to find the clay pipe seems to have a bit of the ball left on it in the foot the color of that I can't see any maker's mark then finding finding a copper nails well rotted some a so backed with a see someone over there look pretty copper there's another nail tides coming in well in now we've got to go on there's little bits of pop piece of copper there and they've been in here sometimes as per usual I managed to find something rather grim looks like sheep Chiefs too small for a counties that can go yep found there but you've got well excited because it's kind of Goldy it's not gold bang it's copper but I've got gold covering on it this would have been part of the pace bottle see that another little bit of Pipestone when this would have been an old pop some sort marmalade with Jeremy yeah so I'm not keeping that and I'm not keeping that but I am going to keep those because I want to do something with the nails as well see you later right these are all the items we kept from our Portland trip quite quite a lot found in the end we didn't keep it all we just kept what we felt were good bits and useful bits various bits of sea glass a key like the look of for various ongoing projects she has um lots of this naval crockery which I particularly like really love the Hank of patent and this one nah I forgot to research yet I meant to get round to it before editing the video but I never did but yes nice pieces there lots of clay pipe stems and part of a bowl which looks to be like the earlier shape one they would have gone up in an angle like that when estimate that one 1600s nice early Bowl shame the pipe wasn't complete lots of different stems view with the feet on no makers marks sadly I thought that one might have one there but it hasn't copper nails and rivets plenty of square nails very old ones again Jackie's collecting them she has a project for them now this this never came off of that Beach that came off at Chesil Beach which runs from Portland all the way down to Lyme Regis forms part of the Jurassic Coast it's coral and it dries out goes blank like that various bits of crockery this is interesting and Jackie found these two pieces on separate days I believe and I found this piece away from those two pieces Ferris patterned bits nice bit I found with the writing on it can't make it out though the Devourer ridge where they're from a marmalade or Jam pop I should imagine another bit of Ridge where they're now coins few modern coins I think the oldest found was a half penny by Jackie that's a penny there is half penny the old new half fence you can still see some details on it there and there but it's extremely thin look how thin that is it's been worn down by the sea lots of blue where Jackie found two vulcanized bottle stoppers - never found any and she drew great pleasure in that she did research these as well and the the brewery was based right by where we were my blogging and one of them's an early stop her from one company and the other company took over the other brewery so they're both linked know various few other bits let's just sit down here Sachi found another pigeon ring I think she's are going to research the one she's found and find out where the pigeons originated from where they were based Jackie found this butter which looks to be a very old I think it's a machine gun but it because you can see the rim there when the metal clip went round it and that was my star find it's a two ring led Civil War bullet and given the Royalists occupied Henry the Apes Castle there I can tie that in with them very very very good fine for me that one Jackie also found this the world war two 303 bullet tip and the fall during the war was taken back over by the army it was used for ordnance and storage in war offices Paris crockery handles there yeah so all in all that was a good day out we hope you enjoyed the video if you did give it the thumbs up subscribe and hit the bow for
