do you get a feeling in your stomach always just that's such a magnificent that's the buddhist monastery at tingbuche and that's the route to our next stop fair shay space camp 2009 doesn't look nearly as crowded as 2007. there you see the infamous ice fall it goes up to camp one [Laughter] so a good place [Music] second letter hello nice fall so far so good so okay oh cool uh and inside my tent and you can see it's snowing pretty hard we came up yesterday it took us 10 and a half hours to get up through the ice fall and then from camp one to camp two right it snowed the whole way from camp one to camp two it's kind of unpleasant but we're not moving anywhere today okay this is moving up from camp two right there moving to camp three that's mingma and that's looking down the western comb looking up the western comb towards the lotsy face and then if you look up the lotsy face you can see camp three up there i'll see if i can zoom in so address game three looking down the western almost there chumalunga another goddess of the earth so we just arrived at chinese base camp everybody's just getting organized finding their tents by 10 is up there where the red bag can be seen it's the communication tent there [Applause] i think that's the supply tent that with the blue top the grade 10 is the cook tip and that's our dining tent another kind of a communication tent this is chinese base camp i love this place it's very big easy to get to and as you can see you have fantastic view fantastic views of the north face of mount everest spectacular [Applause] it's my fourth time here [Music] foreign [Music] oh [Music] foreign [Music] my [Music] [Applause] [Music] intermediate base camp was at a hard move up just leaving intermediate base camp we moved down this way and then up to that bridge line and that's called the miracle highway there's mount everest looks so close and it's so far there's the wrong buck glacier and you see the beautiful ice towers coming down that's the way up and there is chunksy everest hidden from view [Music] there's the dance space camp and directly behind it the north call so there's the north coal straight away there's a group of climbers moving up that head wall probably can't see it with the camera eye but that's it just above abc there's the glorious mount everest it's a really beautiful day today [Music] i think foreign [Music] hi bill so uh so thank you [Music] do [Music] so left there's abc so that's the route to camp two [Music] uh um okay we're here at camp two i got here last night our day coming up in snowfield but it's morning now i think it's may 23rd or 4th project may 23rd so we're now heading up to camp 3 which is high camp and uh summit on may 24 may 25. from camp three okay so hello everybody we're camp three three of us in the tent and pretty soon we'll be leaving for the summit it's very windy out and uh so we'll have to see how it goes but we're all feeling pretty good [Music] [Applause] is still going on so you are kind of ordered by the chinese to evacuate the camp so everything is abundant the people who came down one day before climbed on 24th or couldn't manage to come down that bit before they have left already retains everything is left people somehow just took they're sleeping back and we're out this is our place out there mrs robert bill and mine and then baby lobsters just the top oh it could be seen all under snow people are just uh trying to manage somehow we are living today we have to moving down from abc to chinese base camp this is the miracle highway
