OFFICER 1: Sir, go inside. MEGAN: Are you an idiot? You slapped me in the face! OFFICER 1: Megan, stop, Megan! Megan, stop. MEGAN: I hope you remember
it, because we are done. [MUSIC - INNER CIRCLE, "BAD
BOYS"] (SINGING) What you want? What you want? What you gonna do when Sheriff
John Brown come for you? OFFICER 1: The call
initially came out as a 22 Papa, which is
a physical disturbance. Somebody was calling
in saying that there's two people fighting in
the middle of the road. At first, I see-- I'm not sure who,
exactly, they are. I see a female, and it looks
to be a younger male, probably her son, trying to restrain
her in the middle of the road. I was the only one on scene. I have to take all
that into effect, try to talk with our words, get
her calmed down a little bit. Ma'am, what's going on? MEGAN: Walking. OFFICER 1: OK. Well, right now you're being
detained, so if you walk away, you're going to be placed
under arrest for resisting. MEGAN: OK, cool! I'll sit on my [BLEEP] ass. OFFICER 1: OK. What's going on? MEGAN: Nothing. He's a pussy. That's what's going on. OFFICER 1: Who is he? Who is he? MEGAN: [INAUDIBLE]
his mother's slow. This is what's happened,
because his mother's a [BLEEP].. OFFICER 1: Who's he to you? MOTHER: Stay right here with me. MEGAN: Dumb bitch! Do you know [INAUDIBLE], bitch? OFFICER 1: We're not going
to go inside right now. MAN: She punched me in the
face three or four times. OFFICER 1: Domestics are a
hard situation, obviously. It's different than
any other crime. You know the
perpetrator so emotions are very high on both parties,
especially when alcohol is involved. So when they just
don't listen, you just have to keep trying to
get through to them. You know, it's more the
alcohol and the emotions speaking than them. But she eventually tried
to get in her vehicle and leave the scene, so at that
point, I had to detain her. MEGAN: Don't touch me! MOTHER: Megan. MEGAN: Don't touch me! MOTHER: Megan! Megan! OFFICER 1: Come here. Come here. MEGAN: Don't touch me. OFFICER 1: Put your hands
behind your back now. MAN: Megan, you're
going to jail. OFFICER 1: Megan, put your
hands on your back now. MEGAN: I didn't do anything. I haven't even done
anything to you. I haven't done anything to you. You're such a pussy that
you make up [INAUDIBLE].. OFFICER 1: Sir, go inside. MEGAN: You made
it up, you idiot! MAN: I'm not a woman beater! OFFICER 1: Sir, go inside. MEGAN: Are you an idiot? You slapped me in the face! OFFICER 1: Megan, stop. Megan. Megan, stop. The male half said
that she was drinking. She got upset with him. His mom is mentally
delayed, and she was making comments, calling
his mom different names. So that's what kind of
instigated the whole argument. He was standing up for his mom. Both parties drink a lot,
especially the female. They're constantly consuming
alcohol, especially wine. And then when they have
wine, they just-- they go out and argue. MAN: She literally-- look,
her son and her mother had to stop her from hitting me. She shredded this
shirt off my back. OFFICER 1: OK. MAN: That's when I called 911. I made the call to you guys. OFFICER 1: What happened, other
than the shirt being shredded? MAN: She punched me in the face
three or four different times. OFFICER 1: Where at? MAN: Like, in the face. My glasses-- I wear glasses. I don't even know where
they are right now. OFFICER 1: OK. Where'd she hit you
in the face, though? MAN: Like, this
side and this side. She slapped and hit me,
knocked my glasses off. And I'll show you what
she did in my garage. She threw things around-- just my garage is trash. OFFICER 1: The entire
garage was destroyed, and then that's when
she went outside and he was able to
call law enforcement. I tried to speak with her,
get her side of the story. In any situation,
especially domestics, we try to get both halves. So I've tried to get
her side of the story. She didn't want to talk to me. She just kept shushing
me the whole time, wouldn't look at me,
kept making comments. You're going to be placed
under arrest for that tonight. MEGAN: Yeah, totally marked. OK, sure he does. OFFICER 1: All
right, Miss Megan. MEGAN: That is an illegal car up
there that he drives every day. Do you all know that? He switches VIN numbers on
vehicles, left and right. And he drives around Marion
County every [BLEEP] day. His car is illegal. There's a fake VIN on
that car right now. OFFICER 1: OK. MEGAN: You guys think you know
everything, and you don't. OFFICER 1: OK. All right, Miss Megan. MEGAN: All right. Go have your Marion way, bitch. [DOOR CLOSES] OFFICER 1: And there was a
semi-older son, I believe, about 14. He had seen the
incident take place, so he was able to tell us. He saw his mom, the
defendant, push the victim up against the wall,
hit him in his face. So having an eyewitness,
especially one like a son, who's a son to
both parents, it's kind of considered an
independent witness. So that was able to
help make our decision. OFFICER 2: Do you have a
restraining order against her? RESIDENT: Yes, I do. Arrest her. OFFICER 2: Hold on. Easy. RESIDENT: Sorry. I'm sorry. OFFICER 2: How did she get in? RESIDENT: She went
through the window. You see the blinds? OFFICER 2: OK. RESIDENT: She climbed
through that window. OFFICER 2: Does she live here? RESIDENT: Well, she
was living here. Now she's got a
restraining order. SUSPECT: [GROANS]
No, I'm not, sir. I'm not doing nothing wrong. I just came to get my stuff.
