WOMAN: I don't care
what you're asking. OFFICER: OK. Put your hands behind your back. WOMAN: No, dude, because you
don't have the physical right. You don't have the
physical right, buddy. And this is me asking nicely. OFFICER: Put your
hands behind your back. [MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) What you gon' what
you gon', what you gonna do when sheriff John Brown-- OFFICER: Department
dispatch received the call about a lady that was
inside of a local bar, and she had her
young child with her. Some of the people
that were inside were very concerned for
the child's welfare. While we were en
route, we got advised that the gal had left
the bar and that she was pushing a stroller
along with the young child down along a busy street. MAN: She come into
the tavern down here. OFFICER: Yep. With the kids. MAN: With the kid, drinking. And we all took offense to it. OFFICER: Yep. MAN: The little girl
was out of her stroller. OFFICER: Just kind of
roaming around the bar? MAN: She fell-- fell down
on top of her daughter. She got all mad at us
because we was like, no. 911. WOMAN: Everyone from
Mercy Hospital knows me. OFFICER: Thanks, ma'am. Chamberlain Automotive. WOMAN: --if I lose my daughter. OFFICER: There were reports
from people inside the bar that stated that as she was
stumbling over the stroller, she kicked her
child in the head. There was reports that while
she was in the back of the car that she struck the child. Definite behavior that
is just, like we said, not-- not good parenting. WOMAN: Because I'm gonna
take this all to court. And I'm gonna beat y'all cases. Please step away
from my daughter. OFFICER: Ma'am. WOMAN: This is me
asking you nicely. I don't care what you're asking. OFFICER: Hey, put your
hands behind your back. WOMAN: No, dude, because you
don't have the physical right. You don't have the
physical right, bud. And this is me asking nicely. OFFICER: Put your
hands behind your back. WOMAN: I'm at the bar doing
shots trying to find a job. OFFICER: You were? Well, let's go have a seat
in the car real quick, OK? WOMAN: OK, if I can take
my daughter, that is fine. As long as I have her by
my side, I don't care. Please don't do this. OFFICER: The mother
was kind of irate, out of control, as obviously,
she was intoxicated. And the baby was just kind of
on her own in the stroller. I think she showed up at
the bar with her child, trying to get a job. And then she ended up just
drinking there and letting her kid run around the bar. We seen a water
bottle sitting there. And opened it up. And it was a strong
odor of vodka. So she was drinking straight
vodka from a water bottle while she was pushing her child. OFFICER: She told us that she
was looking for employment. WOMAN: She was. OFFICER: And she came in here,
and she started drinking. And then-- WOMAN: I never-- I
never served her. OFFICER: So she brought
in all her own stuff. That-- WOMAN: Yeah, she brought-- yeah. OFFICER: Blow. There you go. WOMAN: Can I see it please? OFFICER: Yeah, sure. Please. WOMAN: 0.08, right? OFFICER: Yeah, well,
you're past the 0.1. OFFICER: At one point in time,
she slammed the beverage down on the bar, got upset, tripped
over the child or the stroller. WOMAN: She kicked
the kid in the face. OFFICER: Really? WOMAN: She kicked her. OFFICER: Through our
suspicions, we obviously confirmed that she
was drinking alcohol, and she admitted that
she was drinking alcohol. We had an officer come in with
a preliminary breath test. And it quickly shot
up to roughly 0.184 I think is where it
kind of capped out at, which clearly indicated
that she was intoxicated. WOMAN: Get your [BLEEP]
handcuffs on me, off me. But because I'm calling
[BLEEP] lawyer right now. OFFICER: [INAUDIBLE] WOMAN: No, bud, don't put
your hands on me, bitch. OFFICER: You need to just
relax for a second, OK? Take a deep breath. WOMAN: I'm calling
my [BLEEP] attorney. OFFICER: Your grand-- WOMAN: He has complete control. OFFICER: Your grandmother--
your grandmother is on the way. She's very concerned. And so your grandmother's
on the way up here, OK? Our concern right now is
you and your daughter. OFFICER: Our main
concern is get the child in a safe environment. And like he said, luckily,
we had family show up. And it seemed like they
truly cared about the child. OFFICER: I think once you
became a parent, your priorities become that child. While you may want to
go out and do something, you need to make
better decisions and put that child
as a priority. WOMAN: [INAUDIBLE] OFFICER: Y'all need
to settle down. You nervous. That's cool. MAN: I got a ticket on me for-- I don't care. OFFICER: Stop resisting. [SIREN] [POLICE RADIO] OFFICER: Hey, let's go right
up here where we last saw him. OFFICER: Yeah,
should have had him. Crap. Start looking under stuff. MAN: Give me the money. WOMAN: Dude, what is this? MAN: Give me the money,
and I don't have to do it. Or I can just take
your whole purse. OFFICER: Sounds like
he's ripping her. Move in.
