MPC Beats | Using Plugin Instruments

[Music] welcome to NPC beats in this tutorial I'm going to show you how you can load a plug-in instrument inside MPC beats so you can start playing instruments and sounds directly from your keyboard let's dive straight in MPC beats comes with a whole range of plug-in and sample based instruments but you can add over your music reductions this ranges from 808 basis through two pianos poly since deep pads to virtue analog synthesizers now to load a plug-in inside MPC beats go to the track tab then select an empty track now press the plug-in icon once selected you can now choose any of the three included plug-in instruments which are tube synth electric and bass line let's use tube simple press select and now if we go down to the presets default we can now see all of the different preset categories that we can choose from you have everything from base pads leads synths and pluck sounds so let's take a preset and we can now play this from our keyboard and record overall now to access the plugins control parameters let's press the program tab at the top of our screen once you select this parameter you can now see the interface of tube sin which allows us to customize and edit the sound over our beat [Music] now to load MPC beats sampled instruments from the f9 beats expansion let's first select an empty track now we've selected an empty track let's navigate to our expansion browser to the f9 expansion inside the expansion select program then instrument we can now see all of our instruments in categories each instrument features a preview of the sound so you can decide which sounds suits your be now this piano will work perfectly on our track to load this double click on the sound and they will instantly load onto our unused track we can now go to our keyboard and we can start playing some melodies over our P [Music] let's hit record and record our idea MPC beads can also load any third-party plug-in instrument that you have on your computer such as contact serum sylenth Nexus and many more to do this let's make sure that you set up MPC beats to locate your third-party plugins by navigating to preferences plugins and select your preferred plug-in for one such as VST au or a ax now press scan new and n PCBs will now scan your directory for your third-party plugins installed on your computer once completed your third-party plugins will show up inside NBC's Strang browser so let's select a new track or select plugins let's go to our plug-in type au and now you can see a list of all of your plugins we're gonna select serum e press select a new program and now we're ready to use serum now to see the interface let's press the plug-in open icon and now we can go to the presets and one of the patches and now we can use our keyboard and add this to our P to learn more about MVC beats head over to the a kite pro website and you can watch all of our beats academy tutorials to improve your production skills today see you next time
