Most Iconic Episodes of The Fairly Oddparents

[Music] is [Music] the fairly oddparents is a show that i really feel like i haven't touched on enough on this channel i made one video about this show and it was a great video don't get me wrong but i feel like we need to take a good deep dive into the show with a nice long video the fairly oddparents originally premiered in march of 2001 and it ran all the way until july of 2017. over its whopping 16 year run there were many ups and downs for this show much like spongebob the first few seasons were absolute gold but then the quality of episodes started to decline originally the show ran from 2001 to 2006 for a total of five seasons before it ended however in 2018 nickelodeon decided to resume production which is close to the time that i feel like the quality was dwindling back before the initial run of the series the show originally started from shorts that were on oh yeah cartoons on nickelodeon the shorts were seven minutes long and there were ten of them which are often referred to as season zero of the fairly oddparents it would see the main characters in a slightly different style of animation from the actual series featuring elongated faces slightly different coloration and a headless mr and mrs turner after the success of the shorts on oh yeah cartoons nickelodeon decided to give the show the green light for her first season this show was one of my favorites when i was a kid it was up there with spongebob as far as my favorite cartoons go i feel like i haven't given the show a time to shine on my youtube channel well enough yet and it's been a minute since we've done a most iconic episodes video that's why today on our nostalgic walk down memory lane we're going to look at some of the most iconic episodes of the fairly oddparents now really the episode begins with timmy's parents talking to vicky who they've hired to babysit timmy for the first time thanks for babysitting tonight vicky jimmy just loves making new friends don't you timmy no problem mr turner i just love timmy we're gonna be the best [Music] timmy's parents leave and vicki's demeanor immediately changes from super friendly to straight up evil she tells timmy that she is in charge and starts demanding that he do chores which vicky is supposed to do as part of her job do the dishes mom told you to do them oh yeah well you wouldn't want her to find this magazine that's not mine mom will never believe you oh i wouldn't say that right out the gate i just have to point out how weird timmy's voice is in this episode the voice actor that they had playing timmy early on really doesn't fit the character well in my opinion timmy agrees to do the chores and vicky very nicely says that as a reward she is going to order pizza for them you ate all the pizza relax runt i saved you a piece [Applause] we cut to timmy in his room as vicky dumps a bucket of water on him to wake him up she says that it's time for bed and makes some pretty rude comments towards him as she leaves timmy grabs his magic nine ball off of the shelf when will my parents get back from the movies titanic director's cut they'll be there all night man that's dumb [Music] hey timmy i'm [Music] what do you think timmy i think i'm calling the cops cosmo and wanda tell timmy that if he tells anyone then they will just go away forever why are you here we want to help you we're magic magic [Music] just as timmy is starting to understand vicky barges in having heard talking coming from his room cosmo and wanda quickly decide to turn themselves into goldfish fish are riddled with germs i wouldn't want you getting sick maybe i should flush them should we do something well he's got to wish for it first oh i hate that rule i'm calling a union meeting timmy then gets the idea to use cosmo and wanda to get a little bit of revenge on vicky as he wishes for gelatin which results in vicky's bath being turned into orange jell-o as she gets sprayed with whipped cream and a massive cherry falls on her from above that's great can you make her into a giant chocolate shake ooh may i pookie of course stallion [Music] he said chocolate shake not chocolate snake i gotta get this thing fixed chocolate snake vicky then chases timmy through the house but he wishes that she was a fly and he proceeds to chase her with a fly swatter timmy continues to torture vicky with the help of cosmo and wanda you can't do this to me i'm the babysitter that's the first time the baby ever sat on the sitter sorry the secret word was pie timmy then proceeds to wish vicky into cosmo's stomach as he turns into a whale in the ocean then she swims off and he wishes her into outer space the force is strong with this one i am your father i've always wanted to say that vicky then ends up inside of a cannon at a circus as she's launched onto some train tracks where timmy has her tied down and is antagonizing her then right before the train hits her she is awoken by timmy's parents who found her on the couch having a terrible nightmare oh vicky remember you promised to hand wash all my laundry after all mom she did such a great job on the dishes well of course dear vicki gets angry but when she catches a glimpse of the fish in timmy's bowl she perks right up and agrees to do timmy's laundry i don't know what's going on around here but i'm gonna find out see you vicky hey mom vicki's the best fun ever can she babysit all the time of course dear this episode ends with cosmo and wanda saying that they guess they'll be here for a long time as we see them swim into the castle in their fishbowl this episode is a majorly iconic one it's the first time that we're introduced to timmy his parents vicky and of course cosmo and wanda this would be the episode that would establish the context for the entire series literally timmy gets cosmo and wanda because of his miserable life due to his parents not being around and vicky tormenting him so much this would be the initial tip of the iceberg that would eventually lead to the show getting an entire series i have to add as much as i didn't like the old timmy's voice i really enjoy cosmo's voice in this episode it's weird to compare this cosmo to cosmo later on in the series especially in the later episodes his voice got substantially more high-pitched what's even more mind-blowing is that cosmo's voice actor has never changed from the start of the show cosmo has always been voiced by darren norris who you might recognize as gordy from ned's declassified school survival guide this episode is one that i definitely look back on fondly and it did a great job of setting the tone for the entire show next we're gonna follow up that iconic pilot with another iconic episode and that's gonna be season one episode one the big problem this episode starts out with timmy being woken up by cosmo and wanda ready cosmo ready binder one two three wakey wakey jimmy cosmo and wanda excitedly wake up timmy to get ready for school and timmy is very unenthused we cut to school where timmy is being bullied by francis who's antagonizing him for being short we then cut over to timmy at football tryouts welcome to football tryouts listen up for your positions tailback yes sir linebacker yes sir ball huh timmy sadly walks his way home thankful that at least he's big in his parents eyes but when he walks through the door this happens hey short stuff guess what we're going to the movies all right not weird as in all of us we're as in your mom and i what you're not old enough for this movie and we're not taking you ain't pronouns a kick timmy is upset and his mom tells him to perk up because he'll be able to get into the movie someday and someday he won't even need a babysitter but unfortunately for timmy today is not that day oh no the babysitter hello mr and mrs turner it's me vicky you can't spell vicky without icky timmy's parents say that they'll be back really late so vicky can just put him to bed vicky immediately puts timmy to bed even though it's only 6 p.m we see timmy in his room talking to cosmo and wanda about how great he thinks it'll be to be an adult someday when i'm big i'm gonna do what i want what i want i'll help little ladies across the street [Music] thanks older timmy i'm not gonna take any crud from bullies [Music] timmy then gets the idea to wish that he was older which he does but it doesn't go quite as planned well how do i look yeah ew is right i don't have any hair i'm sure you do it's here on your back when timmy tries to wish for a full head of hair it fails because according to the rules they can only grant wishes to kids timmy doesn't bat an eye as he says that cosmo and wanda can still pal around with him we see timmy attempting to help an old lady cross the street but unfortunately for him she gets creeped out and ends up pepper spraying him we then see timmy at the movies seeing the movie that his parents wouldn't let him see finally i can see a grown-up movie ew gross adults making out you know i bet timmy would think this is gross after that we cut to timmy practicing shaving for the first time which also doesn't go well shaving will be fun try some manly cologne after all that we see timmy go to a restaurant to eat with the logic of maybe if he eats adult food that he'll feel more like a grown-up what's this the bill that goes to my parents very amusing sir that'll be 265 what that's more than i get an allowance i mean that's more than i make in a month well you should have finished college did you finish college no why do you think i'm a waiter timmy ends up doing dishes for the restaurant to pay for his meal after he finishes timmy goes home extremely tired but when he opens the door this happens [Music] vicky goes upstairs to check on timmy and she panics when she finds out that he's gone his parents are home i need time to find the punk mickey it's us timmy's loving parents oh look at that big orange basketball shaped head of his sleeping good night timmy timmy ends up sleeping on the bleachers out in the football field at school timmy wakes up in the morning and he sees francis bullying chester and aj so he decides that it's time for older timmy to save the day look on somebody your own size [Music] as timmy is hiding from the cops a fairy graham shows up for cosmo and wanda sorry grandpa cosmo and wanda i'm cosmo and wanda now that your kid is big and hurry your next assignment is mean and scary i wish i had some fairy godparents to knock around instead of this stupid dog whoa that fell off awesome you mean we're being reassigned [Music] i mean uh yes and we're all very sorry can we have a couple of hours to say goodbye to timmy can i have five dollars two hours timmy gets upset at the idea of cosmo and wanda leaving and he tries to brainstorm ideas of how he can fix the situation he decides to act like he's still a kid so that he can get away with making a wish to fix everything as timmy plays mini golf and rides kitty rides we see vicky putting up missing signs around town as she looks for timmy timmy ends up walking up to her and she freaks out and beats him up just then the cops walk up and timmy gets arrested while in jail he uses his one phone call to ask his parents for help mom it's me timmy honey it's some old guy calling me from jail he says he's timmy that's creepy and inaccurate we know that timmy was taken to school by his loving babysitter vicky timmy begins to sob at the realization that he's stuck in jail and cosmo and wanda are being taken away to be assigned to another kid timmy's crying and begging for his mom and dad makes him a kid inside and he wishes that he could be a kid again and this time it works as cosmo and wanda are able to grant his wish [Music] in your face well someone in here has to get assigned to that mean little donut finally does your head pop off it's not supposed to a guard sees timmy in the jail cell and takes him out telling him that jail is no place for kids as timmy walks out we see vicky in the station talking to a cop officer he's a twerp you know and i can't find him he's about this high and he's got a stupid little pink cat like this and he's got a lazy little voice like hi vicky later on we see francis bullying timmy for being small yet again but this time timmy says that he's happy to be a kid and that he's still small and i'm not in any hurry to grow up best of all i got all my hair and none of it's on my back oh yeah here you go hey shading will be fun now this episode is inherently iconic as it's the first episode of the actual series but it's overall a great episode poor timmy was fed up with being bullied and having to have vicky push him around all the time so he decides that he wants to be older but it naturally blows up right in his face which is a recurring theme in almost every single episode of this show i love the way that they animated future timmy in this episode there's another episode later on in the series that features timmy as an adult and he looks nothing like he does in this one but it makes me wonder what timmy did to alter the timeline of his life that resulted in him not being the chubby balding adult that he is in this episode but again i gotta say this was a great episode next up we're gonna check out what might just be my all-time favorite episode of this show that's gonna be the season one episode power mad this episode starts off with timmy cosmo and wanda traversing through what looks like a dark futuristic city while wearing some weird futuristic suits when they get attacked [Applause] timmy look out that's double the daily recommended supply of beta-carotene [Music] timmy realizes that it's a group of ninja bunnies which immediately kills the vibe for him ninja bunnies that's it look at me i'm cheese vicky kicks the door down and yells at him for being too loud that was close no this is close i'm chafing look i'm gonna go to the bathroom while i'm gone please fix this game no bunnies no ponies make a game that'll scare the pants off me timmy wishes for a game that's challenging and that you can't wish yourself out of cosmo and wanda plug in their heavy duty wands and cause a power surge as they grant timmy's wish chester and aj are walking by timmy's house when it happens and they know that when there's a city-wide power surge that means that timmy has a new video game so they storm inside to check it out hey where's the dude it's 6 13. timmy always goes to the bathroom at 6 13. that's weird he always struck me as a 743 innate chester and aj see the vr helmets and they put them on and go right into the game just then timmy comes in from the bathroom chester and aj are on tv what this is weird usually timmy's games are filled with fuzzy bunnies i know what are they for those creeps way to like reset them no if you turn the game off while they're in there or if they lose their three lives they'll disappear forever timmy says that he wants to wish them out of the game but cosmo reminds timmy that he wanted a game that no one could be wished out of you guys don't do anything halfway do you nope we're two halves of a whole idiot timmy starts to panic when the power starts surging again he realizes that anytime vicky uses power it makes the surges happen which leaves chester and aj vulnerable to being destroyed if the power goes out he tasks cosmo and wanda with stopping vicky from using any more power while he goes into the game to save chester and aj and this is the tv and this is the vgr and this is the dvd and this is the surround sound and this is a combination microwave popcorn maker and exerciser and i don't know what this plug does but i ain't paying for the electricity we can't let her plug all those things in she'll blow the power come on [Music] follow me into the tv i've got an idea wednesday march 22nd cosmo had an idea cosmo decides to have him and wanda use their magic to make tv shows to keep vicky occupied while timmy saves chester and aj and now here's cosmo with the weather i thought you said feather meanwhile timmy is impressed by how much tougher this game is compared to what he's used to we see chester aj and timmy progressing through the game as timmy tries to catch up with them while this is going on we cut to vicky who's watching cosmo and wanda on tv as she flips through the channels it's a show about nothing how do we know when it's over i do his velvety voice and beautiful lyrics have moved many a generation the [Music] [Applause] back in the vr world timmy finally catches up with chester and aj and he tells them rather vaguely that they need to get out of here but we only have two lives left so it's not like if we get wasted in here we disappear forever right uh besides i have three lives stop it guys we have to stick together timmy convinces them to keep going and they run off meanwhile cosmo and wanda ran out of ideas leaving the tv off which makes vicky realize that everything is unplugged again so she plugs it all back in i had another idea this was a magnificent day for cosmo way to keep the power going sweetie good thing i'm more hungry than tired back in the game timmy chester and aj are at the final level which takes place in timmy's living room and is a boss battle against robo vicky well well looks like i'm having three helpings of twerp for dinner guys take off the helmets quick don't freak dude we still have two lives left that is one bad babysitter robo vicky almost gets chester and aj but at the last second timmy sacrifices himself to save them oh no that was timmy's last life it's all your fault wow he gave his last life for us even virtually that was pretty cool hey if timmy's gone for good why is his score still going up [Music] i'm alive but how it turns out that sacrificing his life for them gave timmy enough points for an extra life timmy chester and aj work together to beat vicky with their help timmy grabs a cosmo coin in game and cosmo shows up to grant a wish for timmy [Music] boy am i glad to see you this will be great for my glutes what you need sport i wish i had something to stop vicky hey that's just big enough to work cosmo poofs timmy's video game parents into the living room and that causes vicky to melt as they tell vicky that she can go home with vicky defeated timmy and his friends exit the game as soon as they do that vicky shows up and kicks chester and aj out saying that timmy needs to rewire the entire house because she can't watch her shows hey vicky why don't you watch your shows on this this virtual reality helmet puts you right in the middle of your favorite programs give me that oh the tetherball channel [Music] now i can't stress how much i love this episode i saw this as a kid and it really made me wish that vr was an actual thing nowadays all you have to do is drop 300 bucks on an oculus quest 2 and next thing you know you're punching a hole in your tv on accident because you're so submersed in the game you're playing for real though this episode was just fantastic i really enjoyed the sequence in the beginning that paid homage to the matrix with timmy having carrots thrown at him i also appreciated the scene with timmy chester and aj fighting robo-vicky that whole battle and sequence in general was just fantastic watching this through again made me wish that way back in the day when this episode aired that they made a fairly oddparents video game and like included this as part of one of the levels i think that would have been pretty tight honestly overall though this is a fantastic episode that i hold in very high regard it's definitely a true classic in the catalog of episodes here now we're gonna move on and take a look at another fantastic episode that is another one of my favorites that's going to be the season 2 episode superbike this episode is one that's really weird to me i feel like i have a distant memory of this episode being a part of season zero i can almost swear that i remember a similar version of this episode being made in the art style of the oh yeah cartoons pilot but i've found no evidence of that actually existing as for the episode that actually does exist though it begins with timmy and cosmo being lowered into the bottom of the ocean it's quiet too quiet and it's wet too wet [Music] timmy and cosmo swim off being pursued by the shark until timmy shoots it with a suction cup harpoon which is when we learn that the shark is actually wanda and timmy is playing with cosmo and wanda in their fishbowl just then timmy's dad shows up saying that he wants to give timmy a gift for no reason whatsoever well too bad i'll just give it to the neighbor kid gift that's what i heard timmy goes out to the garage to find his dad and his dad tells him that this weekend is the annual father-son bike race i have a surprise for you oh boy is it a bike who told you it's not just a bike it's a bike i made [Music] timmy's dad is super proud of the bike that he made for timmy meanwhile timmy is adamant that he can't ride this bike at the race because it stinks i need a bike that's as cool as i am jimmy this bike is as cool as you are besides your dad made it for you with his own two hands yeah well he made a cruddy bike timmy attempts to wish for a super bike but cosmo would want to stop him dead in his tracks and remind him of their agreement not to make super wishes anymore they reflect upon super kitty who ended up chasing timmy and attacking and they reflect upon the notorious super toilet and don't make him relive super toilets he took the plunger the whole plunger timmy then changes his verbiage as he wishes for a super cool modern bike that's just right for him shall we go for a ride can we come super toilet superbike takes timmy for an epic rocket-powered ride as he rips up the entire environment around him after that we cut to timmy's parents sitting at the table as timmy's dad offers to give him a ride to chester's house but timmy denies saying that he has a super cool bike to ride which makes his dad assume that he's talking about the bike that he made for timmy to celebrate timmy finally appreciating his dad timmy's mom offers to make fruit shakes that's not the blender i made you oh oh why you're right silly me let me get the good blender timmy rides superbike to chester's house but superbike struggles to park at chester's house claiming that he feels that this isn't a good neighborhood what happened you uh didn't put my kickstand down all the way you look okay to me besides you're indestructible [Music] my mirror super bike go have fun with your friends are you okay i'm fine just leave me here on the cold ground this is where we start to see superbike's red flags he is clearly jealous of timmy giving attention to anyone else superbike uses his eyes to hypnotize timmy into deciding to just go home instead of going to chester's house we then cut to the big race where timmy's parents are wondering where he is where could timmy be honey check the watch i made you noon it's a half hour till race time timmy finally shows up and his dad is absolutely heartbroken that timmy isn't riding the bike that he made for him i'll be right over here doing my pre-race deep breathing exercises don't be alarmed if it looks like i'm sobbing go and if my eyes start to water that's normal too timmy doesn't understand why his dad is so upset but his mom explains that she uses the dangerous things that dad makes for her because she wants to make him happy timmy then decides that he isn't gonna ride superbike in the race you know if he really loved you he'd let you ride me hey don't say that my dad loves me how do you know he's not lying how do i know you're not well i'm a bike timmy realizes that superbike has been manipulating him to keep him away from his friends and family timmy pulls superbike into the garage and he goes to get his bike that his dad made superbike gets all angry and wanda decides that she's gonna poof him away but that doesn't work because superbike is indestructible needing to think quickly on the fly timmy tricks superbike out of the garage and closes the door so that he can come up with a plan what's that reflective thingy superbike's mirror it broke but how well it's just a stupid mirror that's it if the mirror falls off the superbike it's not a super mirror anymore it's just a plain old regular mirror if i can take a bite apart then it just becomes a bunch of regular parts timmy decides to trick superbike by distracting him while cosmo and wanda strip him of his parts superbike catches on to the plan and he goes into full-blown dragon mode while he tries to attack timmy saying that if he can't be his bike then no one can timmy ends up riding the bike that his dad made for him to escape superbike and as they're riding superbike falls into pieces go go hi superbike meet super screwdriver super toilet [Music] we cut back to the race where timmy pulls up next to his dad on the bike that his dad made for him hey dad hey where's your cool bike i'm riding it what could be cooler than a bike made by my dad yee really yeah any dad can go out and buy a bike you love me enough to make one yourself that's what makes it cool oh you're just saying that so right let's go we've got a race to win the race starts and both timmy's bike and his dad's bike fall to pieces as they're left sitting at the starting line and laughing meanwhile cosmo and wanda are nearby when superbike's head appears out of nowhere [Music] this episode was always one of my favorites right behind power mad of course it's an episode that has a good moral behind it being that you should never look a gift horse in the mouth and you should appreciate those who care for you but on top of that it's just a really good episode overall i remember seeing superbike when i was a kid and thinking that he's the coolest thing ever of course by the end of the episode i thought he was a massive douche but still the novelty of a bike like that is pretty sweet i'm also a huge fan of super toilet it's just so random and awesome and i just love it overall this is another fantastic episode and the fact that it had a nice moral to the story is just the icing on the cake if you've watched my hey arnold videos you know that i'm definitely a sucker for a good moral to the story and a good life lesson and this episode is definitely one that brought that to the table and i really appreciated that next up we're gonna dive into another og episode from season zero the fairy flew this episode starts off with timmy having been invited to a birthday party that he seems to be not excited about going to timmy explains to cosmo and wanda that the birthday party is for a girl named tooty who has a huge crush on timmy and worst of all is vicky's little sister there's no way i can get out of it either i guarantee my parents would tell me it would be a nice gesture if i go timmy we think it would be a nice gesture if you go cosmo and wanda offer to go with him but just then cosmo sneezes and a merry-go-round appears out of nowhere to crush timmy cosmo explains that he thinks that he may have caught it what's it the fairy flu it's a disease only us magic folk get it causes us to temporarily lose control of our powers anything can happen timmy says that he can't take cosmo with to the party because he's worried of what kind of trouble cosmo may cause but then cosmo sneezes and poofs timmy's entire house to the moon which then makes timmy decide that he needs to bring cosmo with fearing what kind of trouble cosmo may cause while by himself we see timmy heading to the party as he has cosmo and wanda disguised as balloons how do you feel cosmo great timmy in fact i think i'm over it [Music] we see an early version of tutti getting scared by timmy's head being a toilet before he gets poof back to normal and vicki comes to rudely let timmy inside of the house we see a bunch of kids acting crazy and a couple kids harassing a clown at the party when vicky goes in front of everyone to tell them that she is the absolute ruler how come you're the absolute ruler because my little artichoke i'm 16 and you're 10. don't even vicky says that she's gonna lay down the rules so everyone needs to pay attention now then rub it rub it rabbit rub it [Music] rub it ribbit ribbit ribbit ribbit we then see tootie pull timmy away to play spin the bottle while the clown grabs cosmo and wanda and plans to turn them into a balloon animal we see the clown twisting cosmo and wanda into what he calls two boa constrictors dancing meanwhile upstairs timmy is cornered by tooty as her bottle spin landed on him come on timmy don't be shy i don't bite [Music] thanks a lot mr contagious now i have it through their sneezing we see tootie's head get turned into a lawnmower scissors a chainsaw a cheese grater and even a swiss army knife as she chases timmy through the house timmy asks cosmo and wanda how to cure the fairy flu and they tell him that an enormous amount of sauerkraut usually does the trick timmy and tooty go to the kitchen to give them some sauerkraut but before they can both cosmo and wanda sneeze and turn vicky into a massive dragon why are we stuck in sauerkraut into your balloons there are rare german balloons now stop stop like the wind dragon vicky demolishes the house and comes to attack timmy but she ends up with her head stuck in the sauerkraut cauldron which leaves timmy the opportunity to wish her back to normal [Music] halitosis vicky goes out into the living room to see the massive amount of damage that she caused and 2d runs up to timmy calling him her hero and she gives him a big old kiss but timmy ends up getting sick from the kiss as we see him in bed resting ah seems the sauerkraut allergy runs in the family vicky shows up and drops off tutti to hang out with timmy while he's sick don't you worry i'll occupy your sight every second [Music] sauerkraut [Music] this episode is a great one it's the episode that first introduced us to tutti as a character of course her character model would change between this episode and the actual premiere of the series but she still has basically the same mannerisms and personality traits in the actual show i loved the overall quirkiness of this episode especially the scene where tooty's head is being turned into different stuff like the scissors and the cheese grater as she's chasing timmy as a kid i didn't think it was that funny but looking back at it as an adult seeing tootie running and then all of a sudden her head just turns into a lawnmower is kind of hilarious i also appreciated the overall idea of the fairy flu the concept of cosmo and wanda getting sick and their magic getting all out of control is definitely a creative one that i wish that they had played on more in the actual series i feel like this could have been a running gag that they could have incorporated into later episodes and used it in ways that kept it fresh each time kind of like how rick and morty does with interdimensional cable i also have to admit how nice it is to look back on these super old oea cartoon shorts of the fairly oddparents i was super young when these were airing on tv and watching these now is kind of like unlocking hidden memories that i didn't even know that i had deep in my subconscious i'm comments down below and i think i might actually do it up next we're going to check out the season 2 episode boys in the band in the beginning of this episode we see timmy waking up to his radio going off at 7 a.m good morning dimmesdale do you know why it's good because today's my birthday right nope because tonight's the night of the big chip skylark concert and here's his new hit song my shiny teeth and me timmy says that he thinks chip skylark is a lame pretty boy dork singer and that he stinks does not i wish chip skylark was around when i had a band we'd have rocked out loud do you know i used to play the electric triangle but your band stunk but with chip we wouldn't have timmy all but directly asks cosmo and wanda to wish him a happy birthday but unfortunately they're too preoccupied with standing chip skylark to pay attention to timmy cosmo gets electrocuted by his electric triangle as timmy leaves we fast forward a few hours and timmy sits down at the kitchen table excited to see what his mom made him for his special birthday dinner for dinner with our phone number on them timmy's parents tell him that the cookies are to throw on stage at the chip skylark concert tonight in hopes that he will call them and offer to be their son you guys are going to the concert tonight of all nights what's so special about chip skylark open your eyes son that seems delicious timmy's dad gasps from the living room and says that they have a surprise for timmy he gets excited thinking that maybe it's a birthday present but he's let down pretty hard when they say that the surprise is vicky who's being paid quadruple to watch timmy while his parents are at the concert they even gave her extra money to order the chip skylark concert on pay-per-view so she can watch the show too welcome to chipwatch tonight i'm your host chet you betcha and we're mere hours away from the live broadcast of the big chip skylark concert timmy gets upset because everyone forgot his birthday because of chip skylark then he makes the rash decision to wish that something bad would happen to chip the rules state that he can't wish anyone maimed injured beaten or dead i wish the worst possible non-lethal thing would happen to chip skylark right now [Applause] who in their right mind would think of interrupting me when i'm about to watch teen singing sensation vicky is awestruck at the arrival of chip skylark who tells her that he was driving to his concert in his fancy car when a tree showed up in the middle of the road and he crashed totally weird the album comes out july 24th can i use your phone sure use my special phone [Music] awesome tuesdays applesauce day vicky chains up chip and puts him in timmy's bed all tied up as she plans to keep him for her own do you like this one that makes me look like mrs chip skylark or this one that makes me look like mrs chip skylark i really don't think it matters i think you'll make a great mrs skylark mrs skylark i love youtube skylark i'm gonna call all my friends and invite them to the wedding first i gotta find some friends [Music] another day another wackadoo holding me against my will timmy shows up and very angrily asks chip if he's having a cruddy day too and chip says the only cruddy day is the one where he lets his fans down wait wait wait i didn't disappoint you did i because of you your fame and your stupid concert everybody forgot today was my birthday oh i'm sorry to hear that little guy reach into my coat pocket i've got something that might make it up to you oh my gosh it's the brand new crash nebula action figure happy birthday timmy timmy is amazed by the new action figure as that one hasn't even been released yet he asks chip how he got it and he says that it was a gift from his record label because today is chip's birthday too chip talks about how sad he is that he doesn't even get to celebrate his own birthday because the record label scheduled his concert for today and he confides in timmy telling him how hard it is to be famous and talented timmy feels extremely guilty having learned that chip is actually a pretty nice and seemingly down-to-earth guy and that he wished chip into the cruddy situation that he's in right now i wish chip was free and out of vicky's clutches [Music] oh great the one not working noise what's wrong well you know how the rules say we can't use our magic to destroy true love so hello my love my truly love with all the love in my heart love vicky heads off to find an officiant who will marry her to somebody against their will meanwhile we see a clip of the chip skylark concert where everyone is extremely upset because chip isn't there to perform if chip doesn't show up i'm gonna punish our child for no reason jimmy if you're watching this run oh no fans hundreds of them disappointed my fault guilt's growing teeth are becoming less shiny hair timmy decides that he needs to get chip free so he tasks cosmo and wanda with keeping the crowd under control while he and wanda figure out a plan hello [Music] [Applause] instead please put your hands together for your opening act on the pencil pin we cut back to timmy's house where we see chip leaving the bathroom he didn't go but the sound of flushing calms him down timmy apologizes to chip for the fact that he has to spend his birthday with vicky you have to spend every day with her i'm just here till she snaps or the swat team arrives that's vicky for you icky hey icky vicky i could write a song about that icky vicky icky vicky icky vicky timmy tells chip that he was wrong about him and how he thought chip was gonna be a jerk because he's rich and famous chip tells timmy that he's actually broke because the record label pays for everything but if the fans knew that they might not love him anymore that gives timmy and wanda the idea to inform vicky that chip isn't actually rich and as a result she won't love him anymore is there anyone here besides the groom who has a reason these two should not be wed oh my gosh it's the guy from the record company thanks for the tip pink hair mystery woman the record label man comes up to vicky and tells her that since she's gonna be chip's wife she gets to inherit all six million dollars of his debt a chip i thought you were rich nope he's just pretty and talented with this realization vicky calls chip a broke loser creep as she calls off the wedding since true love is no longer a factor wanda is able to poof the chains off of chip timmy uses vicky's special chloroform rag cell phone to knock chip unconscious as he wishes that they were at the concert timmy gets on stage and introduces chip as he gets right into a brand new song that he wrote about hey vicky you're so so icky just the thought of being around you makes me feel so sicky hey vicky won't you please explain why you get so much enjoyment timmy steps over to his parents to say that he forgives them for forgetting his birthday because of the concert we'd never forget your birthday tommy your birthday is until tomorrow what happy almost birthday to me after that chip pulls timmy on stage and timmy helps sing the song as the episode comes to an end hey vicky won't you tell us we never get the bad luck to be stuck with you oh vicky can we say one thing it's your super total yuckiness that makes us [Music] i hate music this episode is a great one it introduced us to chip skylark who would end up being a semi-recurring character on the show it was nice that timmy got to know chip and came to realize how much of a nice guy he really is this episode is a good lesson on how you should never judge a book by its cover just because of chip's appearance and his social status timmy assumed that he was going to be a massive jerk but in reality chip seems like a nice guy all in all i also can't not bring up the song that he's saying unironically the icky vicky song is an absolute bop i genuinely enjoy it and this episode made me love chip skylark as a character now following up that episode i have to be honest with you guys i didn't originally plan to have this next episode on the list but i'm throwing it in last minute because i just can't handle the idea of not talking about this episode we're jumping ahead to the season 3 episode shiny teeth this episode starts out with timmy and his friends watching teeth tv the channel that's all about teeth 24 hours a day the host interviews chip skylark about his new song my shiny teeth and me i'd be nothing without my teeth which is why i dedicated a whole song to them yo yo yo but aren't you worried about up and coming teen singing sensation skip sparky pants he's been living in your shadow for like ever his pants may be sparky but his teeth are weak i heard that yo yo you want to take that outside yo we find out that timmy and his friends are at the dentist watching the tv in the lobby as they wait to get in and get their teeth cleaned turns out that chip is filming the music video for this song in town and the kids with the shiniest teeth in town get to be involved with the video we then see timmy getting forced into the dentist office by dr bender hello timmy please rip my teeth out by the roots turner i want my teeth out there's no reason to be coy i'll be glad to rip your teeth out and here to help me is my son wendell and his shanko rippo matic it yanks and rips timmy tells dr bender that he doesn't want timmy's teeth because they aren't perfect as he shields his face with his chip skylark cd this gives dr bender the idea to go after chip skylark and rip his teeth out we see chip in his fancy hotel room laying down for bed as he says good night to his teeth saying that he would be devastated if anything happened to them like clockwork of course we see dr bender and wendell repelling from the ceiling dressed up like ninjas as they steal chip skylark's teeth the next morning timmy wakes up to a news report from chet you betcha saying that chip's teeth have been stolen bender you must have gotten evil on chip's mouth that's wiggity wiggity whack what did he want any what we see chet interviewing chip's representative from the record label and he says that they're willing to wait as long as they need for chip to get his teeth back for the music video shoot but you've already spent 20 million dollars on the video [Music] i'll do it for free meet the new chip skylock timmy says he has to help chip as he wishes for chip's teeth to be back in his mouth however the rule book prevents it as teeth retrieval falls under the tooth fairy's jurisdiction timmy then decides that they're gonna have to get the tooth fairy to help them so they go and find her they talk to her and at first she says that she can't help because she's way too busy but it's not just any teeth that were stolen they were chip skylarks chip skylark that changes everything his teeth are my finest work who knows what evil someone could do with those teeth the tooth fairy says that she's still way too busy to help but she gives timmy all of her high-tech tooth fairy equipment to get chip's teeth back she also tells them that in order to get the teeth back they need to be under a pillow it's up to you timmy turner save chip skylock's teeth or i'll rock yours on the inside out the music video shoot is only one hour away so timmy jumps into action and he tasks cosmo and wanda with keeping skip sparky pants busy [Music] [Applause] [Music] meanwhile back at dr bender's office timmy shows up to defeat dr bender and give chip's teeth back that perfect belong to the world dr bender who's that pop i can't tell the goofy teeth seem familiar but the tiara has me baffled timmy and dr bender have an epic battle the evil doctor shoots teeth at timmy who reflects them with his indestructible braces timmy then shoots dr bender with toothpaste but the doctor dodges leaving his son wendell to take the brunt of the attack then they proceed to have a sword fight with a dental pick and a toothbrush [Applause] does chewing gum after meals actually help cut down plaque the jury is out some dentists believe that but we're not entirely sure timmy grabs the teeth and he tries to run out but dr bender catches him but at last second timmy uses his floss lasso of truth to grab the nearby pillow that chip's teeth were on and he hides under it as he is poofed away by the tooth fairy we then cut back to the music video shoot oh skip sparky pantless and chips shiny toothless we're going to have to cancel the big video shoot 20 million dollars you you're the next chip skylock timmy then appears with chip's teeth and as chip puts them in his mouth they get right into performing the song for the video shoot [Music] what makes me happy fills me up with glee those bones the video of the song is basically a montage of chip doing random things with his teeth and dancing of course [Music] should i talk to you when i've got 32. as the episode comes to an end we see chip taking out his teeth as he thanks timmy for getting his teeth back and that's gonna be it for this episode again i really didn't originally plan on including this one but i really felt the need to after covering that last episode the last one was iconic for introducing us to chip skylark in the first place but this one is iconic for two huge reasons in my opinion the first one being the song that was introduced in this episode my shiny teeth and me surely icky vicky was a bop but my shiny teeth and me is straight up a genuinely great song it's funny because this song isn't even meant to be serious it's a song made by nickelodeon for a fictional pop star in a children's comedy cartoon by no means is this meant to be a serious song but it feels like it has more heart and soul in it than most modern pop songs do nowadays it's a genuinely great song in my opinion the second reason this episode is so iconic is because of the late great gilbert gottfried playing the role of dr bender and his son wendell his voice is the perfect fit for dr bender in my opinion and gilbert godfried is just hilarious he was truly a genuine comedian who wasn't afraid to tackle any subject and i admire him for that even if it may have landed him in hot water a time or two ripped to the goat r.i.p gilbert godfrey we miss you moving on from chip skylark we're gonna check out an episode that would introduce another semi-recurring side character the season one episode chin up this episode starts out with timmy and his friends at the comic book expo in town timmy really wants to get a comic book signed by his favorite superhero the crimson chin timmy makes a comment about how he wishes cosmo and wanda could be here to see this hi timmy hi cosmo hi wanda what are you doing you know the rules if anybody finds you i never get to see you again relax we're here every year oh everybody's in costume nobody ever knows we're real as long as everybody thinks we're big-headed kids in costumes we haven't broken the rules later on we see the grand reveal of everyone's favorite superhero the crimson chin crimson wow the crimson chin really let himself go [Music] being unimpressed by the lackluster crimson chin timmy wishes that the real crimson chin could be here and like clockwork cosmo and wanda poof the actual crimson chin out of the comic book and into the convention great jaws of justice spatula woman but if that's just a geek in a costume no don't look she's not nice he god country boy one of his deadly exploding pig grenades and my arch nemesis with his kneecap of death the bronze kneecap the crimson chin is confused and he thinks that all of these people in costumes are the actual villains that he fights so he springs into action but to avoid bloodshed timmy wishes that the crimson chin's powers didn't work with his power gone the crimson chin is confused about what's going on more than anything holy i'm just this periodical it reveals my secret identity yeah charles hampton indigo lantern john reporter for the daily blabbity quiet the location of my chin strap of solitude just outside of cincinnati stop that and my dimple size that's so personal but how timmy explains that the crimson chin is a made-up character in this world which confuses the hero to simplify it timmy more or less compares the crimson chin to an imaginary friend which leaves the chin in a state of existential crisis i'm just dealing with the fact that i don't exist but whatever just put me back in my stupid made-up book i have to go back and be fictional okay timmy wishes the chin back into his comic book and cosmo and want to poof him back to where he belongs timmy opens his comic book back up and instead of fighting crime like normal the crimson chin is freaking out i the bronze knee cap with my big bronze kneecap shall you mind i'm having a bit of a break down here he sure seems upset timmy ends up seeing a news report where the reporters are talking about the latest crimson chin comic which would see the crimson chin crying in a fetal position for 32 whole pages and that the book's cancellation is imminent timmy even finds a garbage can completely full of the books with the chin crying on every single page timmy gets the idea to go talk to the chin himself as he wishes himself into the comic book cool the daily blabbity how am i supposed to get in i know i'll just go to the next panel and before you know it i'll be outside the office of ace reporter charles hampton indigo secretly the crimson chin timmy finds the chin in his office and he's crying he's not exactly excited to see timmy as he remembers him as the kid who basically ruined his life timmy tries to make the chin look on the bright side as they go to a flashback that shows us the origin of the crimson chin issue number one when you were just a struggling talk show host bitten by a radioactive handsome actor what has the radioactivity affected your love life [Music] when your life changed forever feel funny my chin is tingling that handsome actors bite give you amazing chintastic unfortunately remembering the good times doesn't help as the chin decides to go down to a panel where it's nighttime so that he can just lay in bed and cry timmy decides that the crimson chin needs a sidekick to help fix the problem this looks like a job hey [Music] a little help please you want us to come in there sweetie no but i could use a cool sidekick costume perfect i'm off to fight crime as quack the boy can wonder timmy uses his utility clef to swing from panel to panel and he proceeds to take on different villains from around cincinnati timmy ends up calling for the crimson chin's help by using the chin signal the chin signal i know what i must do [Music] hey you're supposed to spring into action we're just bringing because this is all a lie it's not real what's my motivation that's your motivation those are real fictional people in real fictional danger the crimson chin can't be bothered to step away from his soaps to fight the bronze kneecap and as a result timmy ends up being defeated by him and getting strapped to a hairy bronze leg rocket jimmy uses his utility cleft to summon a handy-dandy microphone that he uses to give a pep talk to the you the chin needs you i need you does it matter if you're made up you're real to me besides what would eddie the imaginary furry gerbil say charles you can do it charles believe in yourself like you used to believe in me [Music] having been pep talked by timmy and eddie the gerbil the chin shows up to save timmy at the last minute the newly reinvigorated crimson chin and cleft the boy chin wonder go to battle the bronze kneecap and they defeat him as everyone celebrates their victory i'm glad we're pals whether i'm real or not you're part of my continuity now after all every chin needs a clap what's next uh nothing it's the end of the book see that's the uh letters to the editor page where geeky comic fans write about how cool i am hello that's a letter from you i gotta go you spelled chin wrong timmy poofs out to the real world and ends up winning the costume contest for his cleft costume and his awesome entrance which is where the episode ends this episode is iconic on multiple levels it's the episode that introduces us to the crimson chin for the very first time i'm a sucker for a show inside of a show or in this case a comic book inside of a show it's always cool to get a glimpse at our favorite character's favorite character and i'm a huge fan of comic books so it kind of just all falls in line here this would also be the first episode where we see timmy take on the identity of cleft the boy chin wonder who would continue to be a recurring persona that timmy would don throughout the series i also really appreciate this episode for the direction that they took the story they could have gone the easy route and just had timmy wish himself inside the comic book and fight along the crimson chin for the whole episode or something like that but instead they explored the plotline of the chin coming to the real world and how coming to realize that he's a fictional character in someone else's world brought him to a state of existential crisis it's a really creative storyline in my opinion there's so many generic directions that they could have taken this episode but they went in a way that i would have never seen coming and it truly paid off this was genuinely a fantastic episode moving on from there we're going to jump into the season 2 episode that ole black magic this episode involves timmy and his parents going on a road trip to an amusement park on friday the 13th of all days cosmo and wanda warn timmy not to rush because it's friday the 13th and that they should be careful i thought you liked that other amusement park escalator land no way that park was for babies dad when did they get to the ride this is the ride now that he's 10 years old timmy is stoked to be able to go to adrenaline and ride the spleen puncher which looks absolutely as terrifying as it sounds cool wow are you gonna throw up timmy you bet i've been practicing all week watch when timmy almost steps on a crack cosmo and wanda warned him to be careful he assumes that it's just a dumb superstition but cosmo and want to tell him that every friday the 13th all of the anti-fairies escape from fairy world and wreak havoc on the earth they're like regular fairies only can't type and friday the 13th is their christmas who stepped on a crack uh you did join me good thing i've got my briefcase full of good luck charms timmy walks up to the ticket booth excited to see that all of the rides are open but then a black cat crosses his path and someone puts up a sign that says the spleen puncher is closed closed darn it curse you my own two feet stop hurting my wife [Music] no time to talk quick take this 37 lead clover and go enjoy yourself timmy ends up getting in line at another ride called the bowel buster but he breaks a mirror and next thing you know that ride is closed too the same thing happens at the kidney twister when timmy walks under a nearby ladder timmy is adamant that he does not believe in bad luck even though cosmo and wanda straight up told him about the anti-fairies he says that he's just gonna stay positive however he then proceeds to bump into a guy in a salt shaker costume and he ends up spilling a single piece of salt from his lid i'm having bad luck that's it i wish my bad luck would stop timmy we're not allowed to interfere with anti-fairies timmy asks where the anti-fairies are because he can't see them and cosmo and wanda explain that they can only be seen with anti-fairy goggles which they poof up for timmy that's terrible yeah zukes i'm not leading until every crack in this park is filled timmy gets fed up and says that he wants to talk to the anti-fairies right now cosmo and wanda poof open a door to fairy world where they take timmy to the entrance to anti-fairy world which is guarded by jorgen von strangle when jorgen refuses to let timmy into anti-fairy world timmy makes the mistake of wishing that all of the anti-fairies were out in normal fairy world [Music] actually timothy why should we cosmo i'm the anti-fairy cosmo i'm not an idiot in any manner whatsoever and i'm the anti-wander i'm incredibly stupid and eat with my face anti-cosmo explains that they've been stuck behind that door for centuries and that they've been waiting for some dumb kid to come and wish that the anti-fairies were free dubbing timmy their dumb hero wanda explains that it's not that bad and as long as the anti-fairies stay in fairy world they can always round them up hey this isn't the men's room you betrayed me again jorgen's shift guarding anti-fairy world ends leaving it up to cosmo wanda and timmy to gather up the anti-fairies they go through to the real world to find that not only the amusement park but literally the rest of the world is being destroyed by the bad luck that the anti-fairies are bringing mr president whatever you do don't touch that big red button next to the salt you mean this bud timmy gets the idea to go out into the middle of nowhere and do all the bad luck things that he can possibly think of including running under a ton of ladders spilling a bunch of salt breaking a bunch of mirrors and having a giant black cat walk in front of him to get all the anti-fairies to show up i don't make it out of here tell my dad he's weird [Music] as the anti-fairies are plunging towards timmy cosmo and wanda open a door to fairy world and they all jump out of the way leading the anti-fairies back into fairy world mr president you almost caused a nuclear war what are you going to do next i'm going to escalate her life back in fairy world we see jorgen von strangle get back on shift and all of the anti-fairies run for dear life in fear of jorgen meanwhile timmy's dad shows up wearing timmy's poor broken back mother like a backpack saying that they're gonna leave come on timmy this park is dangerous but dad everything's fine now watch let's go have family fun good idea i've never felt more alive when do we get to the ride this is the ride i always loved this episode as a kid growing up i was very superstitious not so much nowadays but like when i was younger i used to be super careful not to step on cracks or walk under ladders or open umbrellas indoors or anything like that this episode really resonated well with me when i was younger but on a quality level this episode is just amazing i love all the different names for the rides at adrenaline i also really love the introduction of the anti-fairies as well the idea that every fairy has a negative version of themselves is a really interesting one and i was glad that they would continue to play on that idea throughout later episodes in the series all in all this episode is definitely a classic in my opinion next up we're gonna check out an episode that has a truly awesome premise in my opinion that's gonna be the season 2 episode deja vu this episode begins with timmy running late for the bus which he ends up missing as he gets beaten up by francis bark like a wiener dog and i won't make your face hurt turner that's not a wiener dog that's a swiss punch monkey later on at school we see timmy turning in a school assignment and mr crocker decides to give timmy a super f which is a whole nother level above a regular f as he heads home timmy is thankful that at least his parents don't grade his performance hey guess what timmy we're grading you on your performance we are giving you an a minus an a minus question in your grade that gets you a b but talking back gets you a c a c raising your voice d that's a q that gets you an f smart guy well it can't get any worse after that timmy's dad ends up giving him a v which stands for vicky as she shows up to babysit timmy while his parents are away we are off to read bedtime stories to underprivileged confused dolphins we're going to read the little dolphin who cried have fun you two oh don't worry we're gonna redefine fun timmy tells cosmo and wanda that the entire day could have been avoided if he had just been on time to school he sits down and plays his crash nebula video game as he dies over and over again and keeps having to press the reset button on his game system timmy ends up wishing that life had a reset button which results in wanda turning cosmo into a watch that timmy can use to turn back time cool let me try i'll set cosmo back two minutes redo not two seconds not two seconds i said two minutes not two seconds oh sorry oh go easy honey this trick is tough and takes a lot of magic timmy ends up using the watch to redo the entire day the day starts off with timmy getting payback on francis it's payback time muttonhead [Music] redo later at school we see timmy get a super f yet again but he uses the watch to go back in time and redo the test until he gets an a later on at home timmy walks through the door and when his parents say that they're gonna grade his performance he beats them to it and he grades them instead guess what timmy we're grading you on your performance oh yeah well then i'm gonna grade you too a [Music] what are you crazy [Music] as his parents walk away crying vicky shows up and timmy ends up getting revenge on her using the watch to turn back time but i'm going to redefine the word fun and i'm gonna redefine your redefinition but i'm going to redefine the word fun [Music] cosmo ends up exhausted from all of the time travel and he asks for a break so timmy takes off the watch and goes to the bathroom while he's in there vicky shows up and ends up taking the cosmo watch and messing with it thinking that she's having deja vu instead of messing with time once she starts to catch on she ends up getting revenge on timmy similarly to how he did to her we're gonna redefine fun um because we're gonna have lots of fun together timmy ends up trying to figure out how he can get the watch back from vicky and he ultimately decides to wish that wanda was a redo watch that can only work for him vicky and timmy end up going back and forth with going back in time and messing with each other twerp i'm going to torture you forever with my amazing do it overwatch dream on bubble butt your watch is running out of power but the one i'm wearing that i got at exactly 7 30 this morning is solid gold and nuclear powered and you can't have it vicki ends up turning back time to 7 30 and timmy uses his redo watch to basically make it so vicky is wearing the wanda watch that only works for timmy and as a result vicky ends up getting hit by the school bus as she nearly dies vicky when we heard what happened we cancelled our reading of the little dolphin who cried and rushed right over every bone in her body except her wrist i'll keep this safe and sound timmy ends up deciding to take both of the watches and says that he's gonna turn back time until everyone has forgotten about all of this i'm cosmo and i'm wanda and we're not that far now this episode is just fantastic watching this when i was young made me wish that i had a watch like that imagine how useful it would be being able to just turn back time by a few minutes at any point to redo any situation that you didn't like the outcome of i would for sure abuse the absolute hell out of that power i really appreciate the storyline of this one though it had plenty of plot twists and it ultimately had a clever ending i also really appreciated how they approached the whole watch situation they could have easily just made a watch that did what timmy wanted but the fact that the watch was actually cosmo himself added another layer of character to the plot this is definitely a classic episode in the catalog and i appreciate it for sure moving on from there we're going to check out the season 1 episode spaced out this episode begins with an alien who has some humans held hostage puny humans we shall now suck out your brains with bendy straws you can suck out our minds liver than spleens but we will never surrender silence captain laser pants no one can save you now [Music] we learned that what we're seeing is actually a show that timmy chester and aj are watching as they sit around the tv wearing pots pans and a paper bag as cheap cosplay and they're eating the official crash nebula cereal nebulose it's pretty cool rochester yes don't you think aj positively as the episode comes to an end timmy and his friends decide to reenact what they just saw on tv chester and aj go against timmy two on one leaving him no choice but to radio cosmo and wanda on the mother ship and ask that they give him a cool crash nebula costume to even the odds [Music] [Applause] [Music] kill a crash shoot dude yes did you get it internet cool chester ends up saying that all they need is an alien to play with and they'll be able to recreate the episode that they just saw so timmy wishes for an alien and cosmo and wanda deliver great job on the alien guys it's so lifelike of course it is it's real cosmo and wanda say that they aren't too good at creating aliens so they just borrowed one instead which timmy instinctively knows is a terrible idea we cut to the alien's home planet where we see the queen and king alien looking very concerned the queen says that mark their son hasn't tortured the prisoners yet today that's not like mark computer find mark uh we didn't show that your son has been taken to earth assemble the star destroyers we'll blow up that foul planet and get our son back uh not necessarily in that order back at timmy's house chester and aj are awestruck by the realness of what they believe to be a fully automated animatronic alien puny humans what's up i'm gonna suck your brains through these bendy straws cool actual crash nebula dialogue you earth children are not afraid of me where are my straws vicky ends up slamming the door open and yelling at the kids she grabs mark by the tentacle calling him the one in the alien costume and she drags him out telling him that he needs to leave while timmy and his friends clean up his room meanwhile we see mark's parents flying their ship through space and destroying every planet in their path as they search for earth cosmo and wanda see this happening and they tell timmy what's going on we have good news and bad news what's the good news the alien we got you is actually a prince from the dreaded war planet yugopitania and his parents are on their way to destroy the earth and rescue their son what's the bad news oh wait that was the bad news then what's the good news i found a nickel okay then timmy tries to wish mark back home but unfortunately mark is in love with vicky and as per the rules they can't interfere with true love timmy tells chester and aj that they have to get the alien away from vicky in fear that she'll sell it for makeup and other girl stuff meanwhile downstairs mark is doing chores and fawning over vicky look if you want to please me so much why do you make me a chocolate shake chocolate that's like the foulest substance known on my planet you rock mark goes into the kitchen to make the chocolate shake and chester and aj come down saying that they're going to save him from vicky to which mark responds by saying that she is awesome and that he doesn't want to be saved from her instead he uses a cannon to blast chester and aj with slime to stick them to the wall so that he can feed them to vicky as appetizers cool this is just like what happened in today's crash nebula episode cosmo and wanda end up using a telescope to show timmy that the aliens parents are on a war path to get their son back and timmy gets the idea to go talk to them so that they can talk some sense into their son and get him away from vicky cosmo and wanda poof them onto mark's parents ship cosmo wanda and timmy of earth we need to speak with mark's parents if the king and queen you wish to see then you must face the pearls three in order to speak to the king and queen timmy is forced to skip through a field of pretty flowers hug the galaxy's cutest and softest teddy bear and finally he's forced to eat a bar of chocolate all of which are tasks that would do away with even the strongest eucapatamian warrior child has passed our toughest test you're kind of very powerful indeed please don't hurt us we just want our son back timmy bravely marches right up to the king and queen and he tells them that he has good news and bad news candy crunching warrior of earth has good news and bad news the good news is i've named my nickel phillip what's the bad news it's a girl nickel timmy tells them that there's a problem with an earth girl and that mark has fallen in love with her and that he will not stand for this the king and queen promise that they will set things straight as long as timmy promises not to eat the chocolate again back at timmy's house mark is in the kitchen telling chester and aj that things aren't going too well with vicky so he's gonna suck their brains out with bendy straws and give them to her as gifts just then timmy kicks the door in and confronts them meanwhile there's a knock at the front door hello we're mr and mrs chang and we've come to pick up our son mark vicki yells for mark and he sees his parents and he tells them that he doesn't want to go with them because he's in love with vicky she taught me something today it does not matter how hideous you are on the outside but how evil and ambitious you are on the inside right am i right well if you're in love no son it would never work she's not where we're from you mean europe okay mark's parents take him out to their ship and they fly off into space leaving vicky behind crying for mark being gone but thankfully vicky finds philip the nickel on the ground which takes her mind off of mark will timmy's secret ever be exposed will cosmo and philip the nickel ever be reunited tune in next week for another exciting episode of the fairly oddparents this episode is just fantastic it introduced us to mark the alien who would continue to make appearances on the show throughout the rest of the series and i'm pretty sure this is the episode that introduced us to crash nebula as well as someone who is moderately into sci-fi this episode definitely stuck with me when i first saw it i really liked timmy's crash nebula costume that cosmo and wanda made for him also the eugobatamians in general are just hilarious i love how they're absolutely terrified of flowers chocolate and like soft things in general it's genuinely funny they straight up think that timmy is some kind of powerful warrior because he can skip through flowers hug a teddy bear and eat chocolate i also really loved how things came full circle in the end there when we see the group of hugo batamian children around the tv wearing fairy crowns and eating cereal out of fairy bowls it was a pretty cool plot twist and i absolutely dig it this was definitely just a great episode overall we're gonna finish off this video by checking out one last episode and that's gonna be the season three episode that's life this episode begins with timmy kicking back and eating some delicious looking cartoon pizza cosmo and wanda say that they're starving and they ask timmy to share some pizza with them but he says no because this is the last really big and circular piece just then his mom walks up no wonder all your pets die yeah yeah i mean ran away while you were at summer camp she tells timmy that pets need loving and nurturing to grow big and strong just like her soon-to-be award-winning garden everything i touch died [Applause] [Music] timmy's dad comes up and asks why mom is crying and she says that she's upset because the dimsdale veg out gardening competition is tomorrow and there's no way that she can win it's okay it's just a silly gardening contest so what if the dinklebergs win again this year the dinklebergs are in the contest [Music] my hated arch enemies from over the fence look at those animals wallowing in their perfection timmy's dad tries encouraging her saying that she needs to beat the dinklebergs and that beating them means the world to him but ultimately he just makes her cry even harder so what if mom loses to the dinklebergs they're kind of nice well if you love them so much why don't you just go live there well they do have a pool and a not dead garden just leave us you said enough we cut to three hours later and both of timmy's parents are still crying their eyes out on the lifeless patch of dirt timmy ends up wishing that everything in his mom's garden was full of life and just like that the entire yard sprouts with bountiful harvest of fruits and vegetables timmy's mom believes that it was her miracle tears of sorrow that brought it back to life meanwhile timmy goes to bed feeling good about himself and saying how much of a giver he is [Music] eddie the gerbil attacks timmy and cosmo and wanda poof up a cage to help keep him contained timmy says that eddie looks like he hasn't bathed eaten or been in sunlight since he ran away when timmy went to summer camp i'm gonna be a much better pet owner this time [Music] i'm not just gonna leave him like i did when i went to summer camp yep no more random meaningless distractions for me hey timmy want to leave your house and watch me go get my braces tightened do i ever timmy comes back seven hours later and eddie is fuming mad timmy comes straight to the cage and lets him out and eddie attacks him ripping off all of his clothes to shreds timmy says that he wants to be a better pet owner and he wishes to shrink down to eddie's size so that he can give him a big old hug cosmo and wanda hesitantly poof timmy down into eddie's cage and eddie goes full blown attack [Music] at me mode he thinks you buried him in that shoe box that says here lies eddie the dead turbo but mom told me he ran away timmy is so confused about how eddie could have died then he takes a moment to recall who was supposed to be watching eddie while timmy was away at summer camp wait dad was supposed to take care of him for me when i was at summer camp [Music] let's see what was i supposed to do while timmy was away at summer camp cam cam all righty put up grapes to cancel out the echo okay load the dinklebergs did it feed the gerbil i mean barry the gerbil that was supposed to be fed while timmy was at summer camp camp camp this makes eddie take his sights off of timmy and instead he decides that he's going to go after timmy's dad instead for revenge eddie ends up making timmy's dad fall down the stairs but thankfully the fairies make sure that timmy's dad remains uninjured having been unharmed timmy's dad goes outside to talk to the veg out judges would it affect your decision at all if i told you that dinkleberg steal candy from children it's true and now i'll get my clearly doctored photos timmy's dad ends up stepping into a snare that eddie had set on the ground and eddie goes in for the attack thankfully at last second timmy shows up and pushes eddie away from his dad dad run eddie [Music] kill me why would he want to kill me your mom's the one that forgot to feed him when you went to summer camp camp camp [Music] having heard timmy's dad pass the buck eddie then goes on the hunt for timmy's mom instead he tries swinging down on a cable that's attached to timmy's house to swipe at his mom but cosmo trips her which makes eddie miss well i think we know who the winner is but just as a formality we'll need to see your yams my yams i should show them my yams timmy's mom goes inside where she decides to get the judges canned yams instead of yams that very well could be in her plentiful garden meanwhile eddie has a massive axe roped up and ready to swing down and take timmy's mom out eddie please people make mistakes well it's mostly his fault but it's mine too i was your owner i should have taken better care of you i'm sorry after timmy says that he's sorry eddie's demeanor completely changes and he ends up saving timmy from a can of yams that we're about to roll over him and crush him to death timmy thanks eddie and gives him a big old hug accidentally ripping him in half meanwhile outside timmy's mom is being given her first prize ribbon which seems to mean more to timmy's dad since he's so infatuated with beating mr dinkleberg and in addition to the ribbon the first prize includes this rare priceless jupiter tulip [Music] everything i touched died [Music] oh dinkleberg aren't you gonna come over and give my wife a congratulatory hand touch meanwhile timmy is taping eddie back into one piece and wanda is saying how cute it is that they love each other again but i wonder what happened to my kitty my bunny my ferret my puppy and my parents mom and dad also said ran away while i was at summer camp i gotta stop playing a summer camp camp this episode is hilarious in my opinion i love how timmy's parents were sulking on their dead plot of dirt and all of a sudden this giant plentiful bounty of fruits and veggies show up and they don't even question it they just accept the fact that their tears of sadness spawned all of this growth i also loved how they made eddie the zombie gerbil come back to life along with the rest of the garden eddie is a character that i always kind of thought was really cool in a morbid way it was sad that he was killed by timmy's parents neglect while he was away at summer camp but also totally badass the way he came back for vengeance this episode is kind of a mosh of themes it feels kind of like a horror movie because eddie is back from the dead and seeking revenge but it also feels like an underdog story the way that timmy's mom's garden sprouted from nothing and she ended up beating the dinklebergs speak of the devil i loved that bit at the end where timmy's mom's crying about how everything she touches dies then timmy's dad ends up requesting that mr dinkleberg come over and give his wife a congratulatory hand touch that always made me bust up laughing when i was a kid the only thing that really bothers me about this episode is the continuity of timmy's other pets coming back to life at the very end when the garden originally sprouted and came back to life why didn't the other pets come back to life too of course i understand that this is a children's cartoon and i'm looking too far into it but that's just one thing that always confused me as a kid regardless of that though this episode is a classic and i truly feel like it fits in well with the rest of the episodes on this list but what do you think do you agree with my list of iconic episodes are there any
