Most Canon Zelink? (Links' Love Interests)

one thing about Zelda games had loves to tease us is the shipping of our most beloved characters Lincoln Zelda in the majority of games it's obviously not a thing however a couple titles of loot to it by throwing in the occasional romantic themes unfortunately they never seem to fully seal the deal on their person to relationship so without further ado let's dive into which Z link is the most canon [Music] what's up my homies it's edible incredible and today I'll be comparing two games iterations of the iconic ceiling but before we get to that let's cover other possibilities first off the ocarina manga shows Zelda kiss link but this sadly isn't canon their relationship in the game is varied to the point without instructing lengths to save Hyrule in the finale she sends him back in time ruling out any further growth between the two in the president in the past after warnings out of the future lake embarks on a journey to find his childhood companion which also most likely rules out a relationship in the past I believe the hero of time has feelings instead for a little ranch girl Majora's Mask Zelda only appears once from the depths of Link's memories aiding him in remembering this song a time in the Wind Waker on the other hand their partnership is a little more interesting probably the third most developed a relationship they've had in the series right off the bat and Link is saving her from samba complements of course she doesn't know who this boy in green really is how link doesn't even know yet but once links adventure truly begins she immediately starts antagonizing him reminding him of his decision if he'll regret leaving his grandma behind I believe this only just fuels Lynx motivation later in the game when link is searching for bombs to progress he stumbles upon tetras crew instead of calling him out when she sees him spying she gives him a wink and continues to let the information reach link I guess her true motives aren't necessarily to be linked to the punch but instead to aid in his quest as we see when he finally finds his sister her crew shows up to distract the helm Rock King and lead his sister to safety tetra also notices link has a sword that is known to vanquish evil the ones spoken of by her family that was fast down through generations following these events the ancient king of hyrule shows himself and what tetra really is the princess of destiny I feel a lot of people think her personality drastically changes for the worse at this point in the story yes it changes but I wouldn't agree it's a bad change it's more of a realization for the greater good and it's self-reflection on what her role truly is her playful personality still shows itself in the finale her signature wink right before she goes into the most important fight of her life she's still tetra so following the events of the Wind Waker Lincoln tetra travel together setting up Phantom Hourglass to be fair I haven't played Phantom Hourglass and only experienced the beginning of spear tracks so I keep properly given opinion on their developed relationship I just know tetra as an ancestor to Zelda and spear tracks meaning tetra spawned offspring with somebody similar to how the hero of time must settle down with someone for the hero of Twilight to exist and speaking of him let's now dive into Lincoln Zelda from Twilight Princess the descendant of the hero time grew up in Norden village with a childhood best friend and potential love interest alia once starts to hit the fan link finds the princess of Hyrule but in this reality their interaction feels a lot more akin to Ocarina when Zelda would just instruct link of what to do without anything more even as out of fates - nothing we don't really get any emotion at a link not that we usually ever do but this moment was more about Midna and Zelda's bond upon recovering Ilias memory we do get a scene at the very least illustrates their long-term friendship but I believe it's a little more than a friendship I don't think his feelings are for the princess in this tale some would even say that he loves Midna and I'd say it's more likely than with Zelda but in my belief the most obvious love interest for the year of Twilight has to be Illya at the very end of the game we see link on horseback riding either into auradon or leaving or Don says centeno decided to show this at all highlights where his heart truly lies in my opinion and now it's finally time for the final two the ones that have the greatest potential to flourish Skyward Sword portrayed a link in Zona that actually knew each other prior to the events of the game usually sona games and ever do this they've been best friends for years living together on Skyloft because of their long-term bond Soto off the ceiling window urging him to prepare for the event even warring over his ability to do so the key begins with her of waking him up with their loft away followed by their first meeting in the game that is funny enough this scenes background theme is titled romance coincidence I think not and when they're running out of laughing together a different variant of this theme plays romance in the air so preceding Link's victory at the winged ceremony lake and so to meet alone and for the first cannon time in the series it looks like their paddock is but Nintendo just loves it ceases at least they hug later on I guess in the credits scene we see Lincoln Zelda on the surface Zelda recalls her childhood look around us as a child I always dreamed a whole broad below I wanted to see the surface with my own eyes and feel the Lance warm freeze on my skin I think I want to live here I always want to feel solid ground beneath my feet see the clouds above my head and watch over the Triforce what about you like what will you do now Linc let's not one of those derpy smiles so I think he agrees I'd assume they'll continue the royal bloodline and now for breath the wild their relationship in this game along with the WingMakers depiction are definitely with two most evolve partnerships we've seen zona treats Lincoln with zero compassion to start off feeling forced to satisfy her dad's wishes she continues searching for her ancestors power while being guided by a kid who never speaks just observes it's understandable for her to be upset with her father for choosing such a weirdo at first glance but as we all know these feelings of her slowly transcend into something she didn't foresee she ended up falling in love with her appointed night upon losing her close friends and mentors to the calamity sudden resurgence she felt lost in at fall however link was there for her they showed her to cry on during her darkest hour so we know where sodas feelings lie but links on the other hand remains a mystery after disintegrating darkbeast cannon soda ass link do you really remember me link that looks back at her with that same blank expression he always gives like come on peach always kisses Mario and it's not like they never Lutz of feelings between them luckily though this incarnation of licking zoda's still have a chance in the sequel so in conclusion the most Canon Z link as of now has to be skyward swords with the romance themes and how they concluded followed by breath of the wilds due to the obvious fact that this was the first and only Zelda that we knew for sure and loved playing third for me would be the wind wakers there isn't any obvious romantic themes but it's just the way their companionship grows over time if breath the wild and Skyward Sword didn't exist this would definitely be my pig well let me know what you think is the most canon z link and why also how likely do you think licking zelda will make it official and breath the while -
