More than 125K Tesla vehicles recalled over seat belt warning system issue

in a consumer alert Tesla is recalling more than 125,000 Vehicles due to an issue with a seat belt warning system the recall includes models sx3 and Y vehicles from 2012 to 2024 the car's warning system is supposed to provide Audible and visual signals to drivers to alert them that their seat Bel isn't fastened but according to the national highway traffic safety administration the signals aren't going off at the time they're supposed to in certain cars 104 drivers have reported the issue so far though there have been no reports of any injuries related to the alert system Tesla plans to offer an over-the-air software update to the affected Vehicles free of charge next month
