as I've stated in my recent doomstering videos the Doom mounting scene is extremely diverse with that being the only reason as to why Dune has stayed relevant in the gaming industry for more than three decades at this point in time there's basically a do mod for everyone and anyone and even before Doom God resurrected in 2016 there were a handful of mothers that got mainstream popularity for their Creations in the doom and Gene Brutal Doom and H2 Mark great examples of that what but if we're going to talk about the most popular and influential Doom mods in the community we should approach this topic from a different angle as well and see the other side of the coin so far we have explored the most disturbing and creepy 2 mods we have been able to encounter but what about the most socially controversial Infamous and offensive do mods that serve deep inside the interwebs well after searching the net for quite some time I was able to find the perfect candidate for that title that being Moon Man created in or sometime before 2016 moon man is a modification for Doom 2 that changes the game in various highly offensive ways and one thing to mention about this mod is that the original file and post have been annihilated from the internet because of reasons I guess thankfully we got internet archive to save the day yet the original post with notes from the creator has been lost forever impossible thanks to that I really have no idea who created this very interesting piece of Doom media what I do know is that this mod sparked so much controversy in the forums of Doom world that even mentioning it in the site is more than enough to get your account banned and this also applies to YouTube [ __ ] first and foremost I created this series to explore the dark side of the Doom modding scene as I believe it plays a massive role in Doom's history yet I'm basically putting myself in line to be 360 Tempest shot by the YouTube algorithm Gods so I'll kindly ask you to character selection screen on [ __ ] Doom before killing demons we must choose one out of three characters to play as those being Moon Man Cyclone Ben and Adolf Hitler Cyclone Ben and Adolf Hitler it's Wolfenstein Hitler that's that's good right and for the sake of this video I'm gonna Focus entirely on moonman he is the main character after all this difficulty settings are quite something else man of course I chose Ultra KKK violence because as you all know I have a massive ego Fame I know you from somewhere that's correct this mod replaces a zombie men and shotgunners with angry red-haired feminists and Muslims also the imps have been replaced with afro-americans wielding a basketball while making monkey sounds go go if you think that's controversial you haven't seen anything my friend [Music] what did you just say God damn do you want to play ball [Music] stop it this will come in handy for shooting games my my channel is gonna die I'm really really really putting myself in danger with this video I mean it's just a video game we shouldn't take a video game seriously I think it goes without saying but I do not align with anything said or done in this mod I'm just making this video for educational purposes nothing more nothing less I understand as you can already see by the first combat Encounters this mod called moon man is extremely racist to the point where it becomes a parody of itself and I cannot even take it seriously yeah it's my goal for this playthrough was to explore and see just how stupidly racist and offensive this mod can get midnight I continued with my Rampage and was able to get a hold of my ND then this super shotgun This Will Blow The Spooks away oh look the super shotgun is just a normal super shotgun I can play with that one thing to note here is that all the weapons have been replaced for the exception of the super shotgun and I have no idea why now the pinkies have been replaced with suicide bombers what the hell what was that a a suicide bomber I think it was funny okay is [Music] [Music] shut up [Music] the more I play this game the worst one-liners from moonmen become and I'm just on map number three God damn it so far we have battle against angry feminists Muslims and afro-americans and if you haven't connected the dots yet the whole point of moon man is that you a white moon-headed guy is battling against minorities while saying extremely offensive one-liners that reinforces their stereotype arrest I thought this mod couldn't get any worse but the chain Gunner has been replaced with your stereotypical Mexican shouting coverage oh are you supposed to be a Mexican I mean you say III and you got Sombrero yeah I'm going to kill you kill you I'm going to kill you I'm being Mexican myself I actually approve what did you just say is that a feminist with a Nazi uniform highly offensive material one thing I can praise this mod on are the weapons and how they feel the chain gun which is now an AK-47 feels amazing to shoot with and the same goes for all the weapons I have used so far yeah boy oh what the hell is this I'm gonna use this on the first person I see oh so the pinkies are the Muslims with suicide bombs this reminds me that the good old 2016 days the internet was a whole different Beast back then after killing all the pinkies we proceed to map number four [Music] now that I've been playing this mod for quite some time I can safely say that this has Fortune levels of comedy in the sense that it is edgy and offensive for the sake of being edgy and offensive I just can't get it through my head that someone actually made this mod with offensive intent instead of just making it for the sake of being an edge Lord which is definitely what this is let's not forget that this mod was created in or prior 2016. [Music] some of the enemies have really hilarious moments from time to time coming through if you think any of this is offensive you haven't seen anything believe me [Music] send your lawyer my regards [Music] oh what the [ __ ] is that that was really scary apparently the Revenant has been replaced with your stereotypical old mystical Asian guy one that can throw Fireballs at will because all Asians can do that apparently [Music] what the [ __ ] is that I'm dead outside from the highly offensive stuff this mod is a blast to play guns feel amazing to shoot and the enemy variety is right in the sweet spots top that with a hilarious voice lines and this mod is sure to crack you up in the most unexpected of moments believe it pick Dobby backpack full of ammo I wonder why they're giving me a ton of goddamn ammo rocket I like it are you there playing an Ultraviolence was just a big mistake one that I couldn't undo so all I had left was to push forward and right after killing all the demons this happened I couldn't do this all day oh no [Music] yeah this game cannot get any worse help me well I was proven otherwise right when I was going through here it hit me if this is the spider Mastermind how does the Cyber demon look like is it going to be a giant gorilla or something is it going to be Donkey Kong okay there's just one way to find out I want to give people live [Music] one thing that surprised me though is that this mod has something new to offer in every single map with that being said I jump straight into map 30 to greet the icon of sin but before we enter the end for this offensive mod for Doom to fully understand what this mod truly is we need to go back in time specifically to 1986 more than three decades ago I think we all know what McDonald's is it's one of if not the most iconic fast food restaurant in the entire world ever since it was founded in 1955 McDonald's has created and used several different characters to promote their products and in 1986 the Los Angeles advertising firm created a local promotional campaign where he Crescent moon-headed guy sang a song inspired on Mack the Knife while riding a giant cloud and playing the piano even if the promotion was only in Los Angeles after a full year of great success McDonald's decided to open the gates and launch the Mac Tonight nationally on the entirety of the United States until on a fateful day of 1989 the son of Bobby Darin Mack the knife's original author filed they lost it against McDonald's and the character Mac Tonight claiming that McDonald's have infringed upon his father's trademark without permission and because of this McDonald's pulled all the commercials from TV and shot this character down for good yeah it's 18 years later in 2007 McDonald's brought back Mac Tonight on Nation grounds and used it for an exclusive promotional campaign that ran on Singapore Malaysia Indonesia and the Philippines and that's where the story of Mac Tonight ends our doll set right when Mac tonight was brought back in 2007 an internet user going by the name of Farkle posted a gif of Mac tonight dancing to the very famous reggaeton song called chakoron macaron on a website called you are the man now dog this act of making mac tonight dance a song without any context was what spawned this never-ending streak of degeneracy users from the internet began using a text-to-speech program by atnt to make Mac tonight now known as moon man say some of the most offensive and racist things you will ever hear throughout the years users of this site began making music videos featuring moon man as their main character and all of those videos had one common theme in their lyrics that being that the music was racist as hell lodias is the impact moonman has generated in the last couple of years has been so big that on September of 2019 the Anti-Defamation League or ADL for short which is based on the US and catalog moon man as a hate symbol I wonder why they did that but even before that YouTube has consistently removed moonman videos for violating its Community guidelines on hate speech meaning that if I didn't do a good job on this video with the editing well please leave a like make all of this be worth it please like I said before Moon man's iconic voice was given Life by atnt's text-to-speech program moonman became such a symbol that you cannot even spell his name on the program it just will not work and because of all of this any post or comment made on doomworld about moonman is eligible for a ban so I think I'm now banned from Doom world
