[Music] nice and watch Sutton never reaching the end let another it never meaning well it's from the heart and I didn't think too much about it at the time but I think it's a series of reflections and thoughts about our life and my life at that particular moment I do write letters and I don't send them never meaning to say and I find it's a cathartic way of getting some things off my my chest I look at them the next day I do think that what you want to be you will be in the end I've realised this later this was a 19 year old boy with writing these lyrics so it's it comes from that dimension [Music] before you see me try jennyline left because we were holding him back and justin arrived and and you know if we talked we were still doing a rhythm and blues show and i think but i wasn't very good at it and I know that but but what we could do is our own songs were different from that and I think that the moment we started in early 1967 to do or late 1966 to do our own songs than everything really changed for us we found an identity [Music] when we first played nights in white satin' I wrote a gram and I shared a little flat in in Bayswater and I just came home from a gig one night and wrote a song but and I took it into this rehearsal room in barns the next day and played it to the other guys and everybody went oh yeah it's all right and and then we said then the other guy said we'll play it again and then I did nights in white satin' there was a mellotron figure derp derp derp derp derp derp derp and that's when it clicked in my mind and became something that could be a record and could be a complete song [Music] some and [Music] just what I'm going through [Music] what we did we wrote the stage show we went to a little town called Mook Rome in Belgium and we spent six months there writing and rehearsing the stage show and every few days we'd go out and find a club play a couple of the songs to see if they worked and from that we developed the stage [Music] yes [Music] [Music] and then from that we got offered to make an album for the Decca record company to show how great their stereophonic sound was and he was called Decca super dynamic super sound and they wanted a what they call a pop grant group to perform with an orchestra to show how the two could work together and they wanted us to perform Dvorak snoo World Symphony and of course we made to get into the studio and took over the studio with the orchestra and we recorded basically a station [Music] yeah love you [Music] [Applause] [Music] you
