[Cheering & Clapping] [Music Intensifies] Hey everybody, this is Randy Santel
'Atlas' and I am very very excited today!! I'm going for overall win #945
and this burrito sitting in front of me looks and smells delicious. I'm for the first time in the city of Tavares, Florida in central Florida. We've got lots of people here which is much appreciated!! [Cheering & Clapping] I am here at Eduardo's Lokos Tacos. I'm hoping to become the 6th person to dominate their 6-pound Monster Burrito Challenge. Now, Eduardo's Lokos Tacos, that started out as a food truck. They had some success, fell into an opportunity. They've had this restaurant here in Tavares for about 5. years now So great to be here. I think they've had the challenge ever since. The record is 22 minutes. So I'm excited to try to smash that
but I've got 30 minutes to finish everything here. There's this six-pound burrito, it was
6 pounds as a base plus the topping so I had a whole bunch of options for meats to go with. I went with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 ground beef . Along with that there's a whole bunch
of Mexican rice, there is refried beans, there's shredded cheese and I think a few other things but the best part about this whole challenge is it's 6 pounds plus the
toppings but they only use 2 tortillas to wrap this sucker So I'm going to enjoy all the
filling along with of course the tortillas but it is served wet, a little bit wet. We've got some enchilada sauce here, the red sauce and then we've got chili green verde sauce here and then we've got scoops of guacamole, 2 of those. 2 sour cream, 2 pico de gallo and then we've got lettuce. So 30 minutes. if I fail it's gonna be $30 but if I win I'll get my $30 meal for free, I will get a sweet t-shirt and I'll be the 6th person up on the wall of fame, hoping to be the new record holder. Let's get this challenge started!! [Cheering & Clapping] Alright, let's get win #945. Tavares is an awesome city. It's my first time here. Katina and I walked around the waterfront earlier today; it is awesome!! Would be great to be back in the future just to enjoy the atmosphere and everything around the waterfront here in Tavares but- 5 people have won this thing, almost 100 people have tried. The record is right around 22 minutes. I don't know any of the 5 people
on the wall of fame so let's join them but get the record. And of course big thank you to Eduardo. It's all family-owned, his whole family here at Eduardo's Lokos Tacos, Let's get it started!! 1,2,3............BOOM!! Alrighty, let's dig in!! Alright, oh this cheese is melted now. It's going to be yummy!! oh yeah I'm on the ground beef side first. This burrito was made with love
by Eduardo, the owner, his brother. I think pretty much their whole
family works here, that's awesome!! Oh great to get here to Tavares to support them. Alright, this is going to be good!! This rice is delicious, it almost looked Asian when they were scooping it in but I guess there's a different way of making it that they use and it is good. Love the refried beans too!! We're making good time, we're right
at 4 minutes in. Am I inspiring you? Got to make sure I leave no
doubt, getting all this debris!! I love that it's mostly filling and I'm
not having to deal with a whole bunch of unnecessary tortillas. This burrito is great
so far, love the calcium-filled sour cream too!! Burrito's good Edwardo!! [Katina]: Dominated!! [Cheering & Clapping] Now that I know the record is within reach, we're 11 minutes 15 seconds in. I must say thank you. I've been doing this almost 11 years now, this might be one of the coolest gifts I've ever gotten so Eduardo and his family are giving me one of these homemade cantaritos, yes which is an actual pot made in a kiln. All handmade along with this cup or
whatever it is in the language that cantaritos is. But um I guess what-- is that Spanish? That sounded really ignorant, I apologize for that. But I do get to keep the cup as well and I am so stoked!! This is definitely coming home with me. But alright!! Oh no, I don't know I associate
pots with native Americans. But yeah, big thank you Eduardo and
his family for these, this is awesome!! I gotta say, the ground beef and
the chicken are both delicious but I don't remember the last time i had a Mexican burrito filled with mozzarella cheese, this cheese is really good in this burrito. Along with the rice and the refried beans, this is delicious!! Oh no, 2 rounds of college. I
better be able to pour a beer!! And notice I did start saying that once I
knew it was actually going to be a good pour. Alright, nice. Alright, let's get this win!! [Cheering & Clapping] [Randy! Randy! Randy!] Last bite!! Ah, and while their time is still
going-- we got the new record and first to chug a beer after finishing the burrito. Salud!! Thank you guys for watching the challenge. [Cheering & Clapping] AHHHHH!! Alrighty, with the beer-- clocked in 17 minutes and 16 seconds!! That was so delicious, thank you so much everybody for your support!! I really enjoyed the ground beef and the chicken. The chicken was very well flavored But I gotta say, the MVP of that burrito was the mozzarella cheese!! Delicious Monster 6- pound Burrito Challenge here at Eduardo's Lokos Tacos!! Thank you guys again all for being here!! [Clapping] For me, it was overall win #945. Thank you guys for watching!!
