Hey guys, I'm Kimberly from Fat Quarter Shop, and I'm here in the Moda Fabrics Booth Live. And we're gonna go down every designer's booth, we're gonna see their fabric and their patterns, everything they have new. We've got one hour so we're with Bonnie
and Camille in their new collection is Early Bird. And they're gonna tell you
all about it. Kimberly: So show us your stuff
Camille - Hey guys!
Bonnie - Hi! Camille - This is our new Early Bird collection,
it ships in October. And will of course be available at Fat Quarter Shop.
I'll show you a few of my quilts - This one is 'Shining Brightly', and it is made from fat eighths, so you can make that from a fat eighth
bundle and some background fabric. Oh look, there's the pattern right there. This is my 'Flower Girl Two' pattern,
it's a follow-up to my 'Flower Girl' pattern from Marmalade, so way back; but they're smaller blocks then they got some nine patches mixed in too so that was pretty fun to make
and it's a fat quarter pattern. This is my 'Hide & Seek' pattern, jelly roll friendly, just one jelly roll and seven Navy fat quarters, or whatever color you like for the stars. Uh, stripped piece, comes together really nice and quick That one was super fun to make. Um, what else - Oh, this is my 'Stitch Myth Love' pattern
which you have probably seen before but since hanging here, uh, Kimberly made
this one in the good life and this is out of our base - or our solids collection, so that one is super fun to make if you haven't made it you should try it. Uh, this is 'Good Morning' and this one is a
fat quarter pattern as well, uh, granny's square blocks, I mean you just ca n't go wrong with a good granny square. So uh, this one is the last of my four new ones,
but I do also have this mini spools right here mini spools pattern, and that one is another mini
that is really fun to make Made with a charm pack, if you haven't made it, Kimberly's got the pattern, go ahead and give it a shot. And we have all their patterns already in
PDF form online if you want to shop them now So do you want to show us your patterns? Bonnie - Great, um, I want to show
you my four new patterns. This one is called 'Song Bird' - Kimberly - And this one is going to be a kit
Bonnie - yeah, available, so. This has been a really fun row quilt My next one is called 'Spinning Stars', and it comes in two different, um, other ways, this is a scrappy version, and
the one that I'm showing here is just two color. And the next one is called 'Chatter Box' Camille - turn around I can't here you.
It's called 'Chatter Box' Bonnie - "Chatter Box" and it's made with a, uh, honey bun. Camille - One honey bun! Bonnie - so one honey bun, and then just a background, so it's really fun. Really, a lot simpler and it's the strip piece
method as well so, it's fast. Lilly - Beautiful Camille - Oh, you have to show her your
pillow that you made out of - Bonnie - Yeah, I'll show her that in a minute Camille - Oh, do these and
then we'll talk about the stuffing. Bonnie - So this is another - my last quilt pattern - it's called 'Abundantly Blessed 2' And this is the charm pack version,
and this is the layer cake version and you get the Cathedral look, but it's
super easy, no curved PC, and it's
just got a heavy raw edge. Camille - and you quilt it as you make it, so it's not it's not - you don't have to quilt it separately. Bonnie - It was quilt at 'Design Hands' and then I also wanna share with our satines, you'll notice I'm wearing one of our print. And uh, great for pillow and decorators Camille - Oh, this one is - this one's our favorite - 'Rainbow Stripe' - from the fabric lines, but this one is made from the satine, which is a 108 wide uh, fabric, and it's in these, uh, different - you can see it is just - it - I wish you
could feel, it's so so beautiful, it's so soft and smooth. and we put on a lot of our quilt backs Lilly - Beautiful Camille - Anyway
Kimberly - Awesome, so thank you, I'll see you soon
Camille - No problem! Lilly - Excuse us Kimberly - Look! I stitched her - is this Vanessa's daughter? So this is Vanessa's daughter, I don't know where she is, but her new collection is called Ombre Bloom and it ships in October And you can see a lot of the fabrics here There are a ton of colors, um this it the bundle I don't remember how many pieces it is, but it is a lot of colors How many? Kimberly - 32!
Lilly - Hey, she knows
Kimberly - why don't you come an tell us about it! Show us your mom's new patterns Uh, this is one of the newest ones - Ah, oh my gosh she's so cute! "It's called Ombre Flowers" Lilly - Beautiful Kimberly - and then this one's 'Ombre Lattice' Vanessa - And then this is the 'Lovely Ombre Cabins' And then this one we're just hanging out over in the middle - it's called 'Carnival'. Kimberly - and they're in the kit available on this
line and so we're going to show it to you in a little bit And it's so nice to meet you!
Lilly - You did awesome!
Kimberly - Goodness, that's so cute! Hello! So this, is Corey Yoder Corey - Hello!
Lilly - Hi Corey! Kimberly - And this is - tell us about your new line Corey - Okay, so this is 'Sugarcreek' and it is named after my home town of Sugar Creek which is a little Amish community that I grew up in So, these are the prints in the collection.
It's a warm, sunny palette it - it's very blendable with my other fabric lines. There are also wool blends in the collections they're Sugarcreek wool blends in the
collection that you can mix and match with the prints They add a lot of texture and then if you see my quilt I have done
some quilts that have just the wovens This is 'Poundcake', it uses a layer cake The wovens come in a layer cakes
so it's a really easy quilt to do. This is 'Down Home'; this is a fat quarter quilt. Just with, um, pretty Ohio Stars. The middle one here, this is 'Beholden 2'
This all pieced, there's no applique no, no fussy templates, it's all pieces, that uses wovens and
the prints We have 'Sprinkling' - this is a charm pack quilt So two charm packs - one of the woven, one of the prints. and background, This awesome bag that Kimberly is holding - this is a noodle handbag. Pattern is called 'Maker's Tote',
and it's like the best bag ever I used the Moda cross weave, I used the wovens, and then a little bit of the print here on the side And, it opens up and you have like
scads of space inside of it. Kimberly - So we'll order that pattern, I know it's not online, but we will have it online soon. Corey - It's a really good one. Over here, this is, um, I'm blanking on the name of the top one. 'Poppy Seed'! It's 'Poppy Seed'. It's all
woven, that's a fat quarter quilt. And this one is 'Happy Scrappie Baskets' that uses two layer cakes. And then over here we have loveliness, and that is a fat eighth. So a little bit of everything. So with wovens, some prints, some of each. Kimberly - And she has a new book coming out with Martingale. Kimberly - It is awesome. This is, it's a prototype right?
Corey - No this is the actual book! Kimberly - Oh this is the actual book
Corey - Yeah, yeah Kimbelry - "Sunday Best Quilts", and Sharen McConnell and I co-authored that. And we're going to have a block of the week coming
up using the book in September so you want to keep an eye out for that. Kimberly - and I'll sew along with them so that'll be awesome. Lilly - People love the bag
Corey - oh the bag is fantastic Kimberly - and so you can see how she has the print and the plaid, and this is coming out in August. Corey - So you can mix and match them they're perfect together. Kimberly - So thank you!
Lilly - Thank you so much! Kimberly - Here, we'll go down here
Lilly - Okay, we'll be back! Kimberly - This is Layla Boutique's, um, booth. I haven't seen her today. This is Cottage Blossom, and all of these patterns are available now. This collection is called Harvest Bloom. Wait, let me make sure have it right - 'Harvest Road' And it's going to be shipping in October. This is like one of my very favorite things of market This is the quilt panel. And this time, it's - The Christmas panel was digitally printed, and this one is just going to be regular printing. And I am going to make this because this is my house - it is amazing. It's a cheater quilt. This one right here is called 'Sun Tea'. And this is 'New Leaf'. And this is new too - [called] 'Rugby' Oops! I will fix it. So, but, I love this booth. I think it looks great. And then, we're gonna go back over to Sherri and Chelsi; we're trying not to interrupt - somebody's in the booth right now so we're just gonna got to the side of them so we don't interrupt.
Lilly - Yes, always trying to be polite. So this is Chelsi from Sherry and Chelsea - Well tell us the name of your group, and all of this new stuff - Chelsi - All right so our newest collection is called 'Harper's Garden'. And it's kind of a homage to memories I had as a child. We had a neighbor with, um, a beautiful garden, and I used to help her plant her flowers and everything. - and it's named after my daughter. And so these are my newest quilt patterns.
We have 'Hearts at Home 2', and it is actually a small version to the original 'Hearts at Home' that I made. and it is a honey bun quilt. Lots of fun to make.
And it actually includes, um, just the instructions for this four block mini to go with it. This is 'Community', and we all have a
community that live in that we love. And this quilt is fat quarter friendly. So, lots of fun.
And of course, the hearts. And then this is my last quilt pattern, 'Monarch'. cute little butterflies and it is a layer cake friendly quilt. So lots of fun, and it's really quick. And, yeah. Lilly - Which one's your favorite out of all of
these Chelsi - Oh my - you can't ask me that - Kimberly - This one!
Chelsi - Um, yeah! 'Hearts at Home 2'
Kimberly - It's my favorite! Yeah, 'Hearts at Home 2' I would have - they're all my favorite But 'Hearts at Home 2', yes, very - I mean I couldn't make a large block without
making a small block - we'll say that's my favorite Lilly - Beautiful, thank you Chelsi - and this collection ships in September. Lilly - Thank you, yes - we need to know that info. Lilly - Hi! Sherri - So, we're so excited about Harper's Garden -
you just heard from Chelsea. This is 'Family Farm' - a row quilt, it's a fat eighth friendly, and it's super fun. This is 'Weekender', and it's a Moda boxed kit. And it's super fast and fun. Kimberly - Yeah, so we're going to have this kit, it should be on our 'Coming Soon' page. Sherri - And up here we have 'Summer Shores' and it's a Fat Quarter Pattern and another favorite of mine. And this is the 'Lilly Print' - and it is also a fat quarter pattern. Lilly - My name's Lilly! Oh my god
Kimberly - It's spelled wrong though
Lilly - I spell it different it's okay Sherri - And I do have another pattern, but Debbie Outlaw got it for notions booth. Kimberly - Okay, awesome, so we'll stop by there. Sherri - Yeah, so it's called 'Vintage Charm', and it's another fat quarter pattern. Kimberly - Awesome, well thank you!
Lilly - Thank you! Kimberly - Okay, so we're just gonna keep moving down - Richie - Hi - I'm Richie
Lilly - Hello
Kimberly - Hi Kimberly - So this is the Basic Grey Booth. Do you want to tell about 'Stiletto', your new collection? Richie - Yeah, well Rachel couldn't be here, she's the fabric designer. I'm Richie, and I design the quilts. This is 'Foxy Roxy', is our versatile pattern this time around. It is married with either a honey bun or a layer cake, or charm packs. So it's very fun that way. Must have is right behind Kimberly. Two jelly rolls, two and a half yards of a background makes the entire top and the binding. Super fun, super fast,
super quick. And then we have 'Silver Linings', which is the newest Moda quilt kit - it will be completely boxed up. Kimberly - So Honey Buns are making a come back - Moda's going to have a lot more Honey Buns, so you're gonna see a lot of these. Richie - And 'Foxy Roxy' is perfect for that,
which is awesome. And then the table runner is our 18 inch - schoolhouse block - three of
them, and we'll have the finished instructions in the fall - when we promote that whole thing once a lot of this goes out to shops. Kimberly - And when does it ship?
Richie - Ships in November
Kimberly - Awesome, Kimberly - Okay, thank you!
Lilly - Thank you! There's actually a - well, we'll show you in a second, but there's another quilt over there. Kimberly - So this is Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings. She has like a ton of stuff, So I'm gonna let her show you this booth, and then she's gotta whole other booth over there. Lisa - All right we have a cotton line called 'Urban Farmhouse Gatherings' and it's, uh, a book coming out. That has six quilts and six pillows And just a little - I'll grab 'Bless this Mess' because if your sewing room isn't messy, you're not -
you're not using it enough, right? All right, so this is like one of the pillows
examples. I do a nice covered zipper in there. So that's one. And we have, like I said six quilts and six pillows, all grays, scaled beautifully. And I really love this triangle quilt in
the back, and that is made with - one fat quarter tower and Bella solid
number 97. All right, we'll go on a field trip?
Kimberly - Yeah let's go over here. Lisa - So over here we have one of my friends, who is a long arm quilter, and her mother owns a quilt shop. She has put together 12 quilts with 12 fat quarters in them. And then we did add - some of them we put borders on
but it's all in one book and there is a little extra 13th quilt called shiplap
here, very simple but still cool right. And those are all in that one book that
is coming with a fabric line in October Kimberly - and she has two new Creative Grids rulers also, and we will have those in stock next week. Lisa - I left the plastic on them, but, um, if you haven't seen my video out there before the main emphasis of my rulers is
that everything is a dashed line so you can see your fabric at every point and
whether you're doing big quilt cutting or smalls, and then we also have all these
eighth inch markings like 5/8 and 3/8 those tough ones that we don't
really know where they're at but this will help. Kimberly - And the best thing about her
rulers is you can just see through all of them it's so like helpful like - and her stuff, sometimes can gets really complicated and so it makes it doable for the people who
really want to step out of the box it's like the tool that really helps you get
to the next level. And this bed over here -
There's like a bed chilling out over here.
Lilly - It looks so comfy So we drove to Kansas City because we're not
that far away and we brought the bed cuz we really wanted to show off this flannel line that was a little bit free-market but, um, it'll come to the stores in July.
Again we did another book with, uh six quilts and like seven pillows on this. What's great about this, is I use the flannel for the appliques - this is not
wool. So this is flannel on flannel. and still treated it like it was an
applique - a wool applique and stitch around it - So if you're allergic to wool, this is an option for you. Kimberly - Is that Valdani thread?
Lisa - Yes
Kimberly - Okay Kimberly - Cool! Thank you! Kimberly - Okay, we're gonna keep going. This is just their wall of solids So we've got all the Bella, and Grunge, and Ombre - And I'm just gonna step aside so Lilly can give you a pretty view without me in it. Hi Betsy!
Betsy - Hi Kimberly! How are you? Kimberly - Good, do you want to tell everybody about your new collection? Betsy - Hi
Kimberly - This is Betsy Chutchian Betsy - This is 'Sarah's Story' - it's a collection from, uh, 1832 to 1850, it's based on the life of Sarah Hale she was a - um, an editor for Godey's Lady's Book for 40 years and she promoted everything related to her home, for 40 years. And she promoted everything related women's work, and she was the first one to publish a hexagon in her - in her magazine -- -- in the American market. It had been popular in England before she So it's got bright colors, indigo, which is my favorite. Deep reds. Kimberly - And it ships in November... November! And we have got all these patterns on order, so ev- we have all of this ordered. I know y'all are gonna ask. This'll be the first question. Don't wanna miss it! Kimberly & Lilly - Thank you!
Betsy -Thank you, Kimberly So we're gonna come in here into Barb & Marry's. I don't know, um, where Barb is, but this is their dog - and it is so cute. Its got eyes that say "I love my double wide Dresden ruler." And so they've got, a new collection called 'Good Day' - Let me see when it ships . . . So here's the quilt,
Lilly - look at that little basket Yes, this is a pattern, I can't remember the name, but it is, I think it's like "Fat Quarter Basket" And then she's got - yeah, "A Tisket, A Tasket", here you go. Lilly - "A Tisket, A Tasket, Two Fat Quarter Basket". And then, um, of course they have their double wide dresden. and so they, you can make this too Oh my gosh! This is Barb, there she is!
Lilly - Hello! Kimberly - Tell us all about your fabrics! Barb - Oh! So the new fabric is called 'Good Day' and it ships to the Fat Quarter Shop in July. And, um, we've got a lot of new projects we made, really good ones. And a lot of them we made with our Double Wide Dresden Book. And our new - Template The new template. I think you have kits?
Kimbelry - Mhm! Do you see what you do when you put white in there?
Lilly - Yes - Oh yeah, look at that! And you can make this with two fat quarter baskets, and you have plenty of those! So this is 'Gingiber' - Do you want to tell us all about your collection? Sure, hi! My name is Stacie Bloomfield, and this is my line 'Gingiber' Um, it is a woodland creature dream - I love it a lot. It features hedgehogs, and squirrels, and this is a free hedgehog pattern that'll be available on my website very soon. It features cute little things like this - this is one of the hedgehog panels. This is the red squirrel. so we have motifs of the hedgehog and squirrels. We also have some amazing blender fabrics. Uh, which every quilt shop needs. Take a look here - They're kind of taped in, sorry about that, but - We have beautiful, modern chrome blenders; it does come in red and grey. And then we have fun quilts - this is part of the line! So, I think it's really fun, if you've liked my line from jist, then you'll like this one. Kimberly - And she has a really cute calendar coming out - it's - it's a calendar towel - We already ordered it, and it is so cute! Stacie - And here's a hint, my next fabric line matches this. Stacie - So, it'll be super fun
Kimberly - and this ye- last year we didn't really buy that many calendar towels 'cause we weren't really sure how they'd sell, so they sold out in a day Kimberly - So this time we have them longer.
Stacie - Woohoo! Stacie - I'm glad to hear that!
Kimberly - Thank you!
Stacie -Thank you! So this is Brenda Riddles Booth, I don't see Brenda, but this is her collection called 'Finnegan'. Um, I believe it ships - maybe, like early fall, September/August. And it's beautiful; she has lots of patterns, obviously appliques - pieced, pieced - Then she has this new pattern that she's had that shows her embroidery - I'll try and get close. I've had a lot of people ask if it's on the fabric and it's not, it's just embroidery, but this is a new pattern she has. And this is kind of the range of colors. And then we'll move here - this is Brigitte [Heitland] from Zen Chic. So tell'em about 'Breeze'. Brigitte - Yeah breeze is a collection which based on the inspiration of visible mainly So three years ago there was a purpose of
amending the sashiko right here. So, I like this very much. Bu I combined the blue collection with a kind of denim ink will, cotton thickness. So this is in a denim grey that goes well with all the different blues. and so we expanded the company line into
a home quality with linen in there And also a rayon quality over here. So, we can now go into garments go into home deck, quilts; do everything and if you have still time then we use the floss from Aurifil over here, make matching my line completely well. and do a little bit
of hand stitching in the sashiko style Lilly - Oh, beautiful
Kimberly - So, check out her pants, guys - Lilly can you - Kimberly - check out these pants. Kimberly - Oh my gosh Brigitte - Yeah, so you just need kind of a basis like those trousers, and you stitch on your
pitches and you give a layer of hand stitch pattern like a sash sashiko style
pattern or running stitches on it. And you have your individual style that's beautiful Kimberly - Thank you
Brigitte - thank you for stopping by
Lilly - Thank you! Kimberly - Could you tell our viewers about your new collection? [Sandy Klop] Oooh - it's way way fun. It's called 'Mother Klop', and we've got bubbly things in it. This is my button quilt. I did a button quilt flat first, and then I have a puffed out pillow. And then, um, a bigger - little - big one to lay on the floor for tummy time. And then they were so cute we made buttons. oh my gosh - yeah - Oh, that's adorable Sandy - My oldest thinks they're real nice as Frisbees - it could be an indoor Frisbee game too. oh I love it 'Fuzzy Logic' is black and white It uses my four in one, where I have four different patterns on one bolt. And it shows all the black and whites in the line. This one is called 'Lock Pop', it's just a simple block that's a single square in a square, charm pack, and sashing, But it's fascinating to look at - just keep looking around it. It looked like little windows. And this is the pinwheels And this is 'Showers to Flowers' 'Diamond on a Roll' - that's using a jelly roll. And over here is a smaller version; we kept the center diamond the same size, but narrowed down the mini size so it made it a little smaller. There's 'Bubble Pop' over here, they look like little lollipops. And then there is 'Fresh Cut', which is all leaves Kimberly - And this?
Sandy - 'Merry and Bright' Kimberly - So she has a ton of patterns, guys Sandy - I just can't stop making new quilts Kimberly - Thank you so much
Sandy - Thank you
Lilly - Thank you Kimberly - And so this is Kathy Schmidt's booth. Kathy - Hello!
Kimberly - Can you tell us all about your home selection Kathy - Sure! So, um, I figure home is anything that - it doesn't necessarily have to be like a mirror, or wood. but a nest for birds is a home, a beehive is a home, And I wanted to keep the colors just kind of neutral Kimberly - This is a panel, so you don't - you can stitch on top of it or you don't have to; but this little piece right here is a panel. Kathy - And so there's beehives, bird's nests, houses, and each one has a little saying by it. This one says "Home is where the heart is", "love warms every nest" So I tried to find just short little sayings that felt homey. Kimberly - She has lots of samplers. And, and - embroidery sealed? Kathy - Embroidery sealed -
that's my favorite thing to do, is hand emroidery. So anything where I can get any thread in my hand. Kimberly - Hi Stacy! [Stacy Iest Hu] Kimberly - So this is her collection, 'Safari Life', right? Stacy - Yes,
Kimberly - Can you tell us all about it? Stacy - uh, so 'Safari Life', I wanted to do a collection that was more boy friendly, but what I'm noticing it's turning out - it's becoming more adult friendly because adults are wanting it just for their house because its a very sophisticated and it's not such a cartoony collection So, um, there's pillows, there's patterns for the pillow. The quilt. And they're relatively easy, like that lion quilt you would think would be difficult, it's super easy, it's just half square triangles, and stitch-and-flip. Super fun quilt to make. And theeen, Kimberly - Yes she has this whole new program here: Stacy - Can we talk about this - So this is
'Cut, Sew, Create' and this is a program to teach kids how to sew. We are trying to get the
next generation of makers out there and we can do it with this program It has beginner, intermediate, and advanced. And, uh, different bubbles, and it has different -
we wanted to make boy and girl friendly So we have, like, the apron, it can be for a boy or a girl We have the lunch bags here. We have the little monster
Kimberly - This is the cutest thing ever, look - Kimberly - What can you put in the pocket. Oh my gosh.
Stacy - How fun is that? And we made it for little girls too; And each project has a skill that your child will learn how to do So it could be putting in a zipper, putting in a button, it makes it really fun that way We studied the market, we saw that pets
were really hot, and the market for pets is crazy. Kimberly - This is a panel for a dog bed, and if I made this for piggy he would be all over it ! Kimberly - Oh! I dropped the
Stacy - Oh, it's okay!
Kimberly - It has a little bandanna Kimberly - and the bone, and it comes with a panel. Stacy - And! And, the insert is also on the panel, so you don't buy -- and it's a velcro so you can wash it. that's awesome Stacy - And your child will learn how to sew Velcro. So we're really excited, we have a cat bed My cat actually slept on it so it works And then somebody made a great suggestion to put catnip inside So we have a lot of great beginner projects And some of the projects kind of go hand in hand. So we have a pillow case and you can also do the pillows, and they're different projects and they go together And there's like nice little [sayings] 'Shine Bright' - little inspirational sayings. Kimberly - And so they all come packaged
in these little packages And they have everything you need to make them, except for the hardware So like if you need a zipper you would add the zipper yourself, if you need stuffing you would add that. But it's just a beginner - and, aah, I'm gonna make the dog bed. So thank you! Thank you so much. So now we're gonna
walk around very center of the booth and And there's a lot of people there's a lot of
stuff so I can't like get behind but I'm gonna do what I can also guys don't you guys just love
Kimberly's dress I love Kimberly's dress So this is 'Sage' 'Scarlet and Sage' by Big Tree. Joanna is not here. The ship date on that is October. And all - this is going to be a quilt kit. Using this charcoal bella - I believe, and this is gonna be a kit. And then these are her new patterns! Beautiful
So we'll just kind of go around the little room. So this is a kit. It goes with 'Sarah's Story', which is the Betsy Chutchian collection And so, um, that's pretty awesome. This is a new program by Sweet Water - it's called 'Printworks' - it's not a fabric collection. What it - well . . . It's just big panels. So there's some big big panels and then some smaller panels. And it's all about making it for your home. There is a book that's going to go with this to show you how you can turn it into projects for your home And these are some of the projects, it's not bags, it's super cute. And then behind Lilly - This is a really cute, um, quilt hanging up - this is 'Harvest Road' that we already saw by Lella Boutique,
but it's just really pretty all put together. Love the fact that she's got that really
pretty blue This is another Urban Farmhouse Gatherings pattern that we're going to be in one of the books that that Lisa talked about Oh Kevin's right there look, I see him! So this, this is also another Basic Gray 'Stiletto' group. And then, um, we're going to talk to, Laurie Simpson. When we walked by earlier her booth was packed, and we couldn't get her. So tell us about your new collection. Laurie - This is 'Northport' [by Minick & Simpson], and it has 40 prints, and 29 wovens. And I love mixing the prints and wovens together. Kimberly - They're really - kind of silky. They're very, um - the same weight as a quilting cotton. They mix together beautifully in a quilt. And they all have all the blue prints and blue wovens together. It's - it was strip pieced, it actually goes together quite fast. And, uh, the appliques is a charm pack. And I used Karen K Buckley's circles, so all the ends were already turned under. So that really speeds up the application by hand or machine. We have some mini quilts here. Of course the pattern 'Live your life',
[& 'Our Best Friends', & 'Forest Fete']
and I put them all together in one big, uh, large - Kimberly - Oh, one big quilt Laurie - One big quilt. And those use charm packs. And then we have 'Seaside' - which Moda will kit up in a box - their great little boxes that they do. And this is 4 patches and 9 patches Kimberly - Thank you!
Lilly - Thank you so much Kimberly - So over here Over here is a Kansas trouble. They're
celebrating their 20th year of being a fabric designer and this is called - 'Milestone' and that is going to be it kit, and I
loved that the kit has really big. Um, I love that. And then, we can kind of if you want we can like just
go around the notions video - ah - notions booth just a little bit, and I'll just show you
some things. So in there they have all of their books and patterns and it's so nice, we can just come over here So these are the books we published. It feels really good to get to see our work put in - so awesome. And then, behind Lilly - I missed this quilt. It's called the 'Ombre Bloom' and it is a kit and it's using the new Vanessa Goertzen 'Ombre Bloom' collection. And then the inside white is from one of her previous collections
that has metallic on it and it's just - it's great and we're gonna have that in the kits. So over here is where they put all of their
like paper products or little bags I'll show you a couple of things
that we bought We've got some new Aurifil thread. So these are just things that they put
together that are not necessarily tied to a fabric collection, but we think
these are really cute there's a cat guy and a dog dad and they're really soft like - really soft. And then, um, we bought these little pads of paper. Cat Lady and Dog Lady And then over here we've got some new - um, new calendar towels. So this is the towel that you got to see earlier, and then this is another calendar towel These are the two that they're gonna be doing for this year. So guys, - oh, yes we're gonna go see Ruby Star. So this is the Ruby Star booth and one of the things - they have all
these new collections and then we're gonna have her tell you about it
but the one thing that I love is I've gotta have this, like, now - I have to wait patiently for it to come But it's an ironing board cover, and I just want it so bad. There's two, there's like, I guess, more of a modern one. And then could you tell us about
your fabric collection?
Sure! Hi I'm Devin I'm the brand manager for Ruby Star Society. So we have some new substrates for this release in addition to our
Ruby Star cotton, we have rayon and we have canvas and we have cotton lon -
so those will all be shipping in October and then we have some new quilting cotton
groups that will be shipping in November And we have our product line -
so we have this adorable lunchbox slash sewing/whatever box - whatever you want to put in it. We have, uh, all of these socks over here that are super fun - some of your most loved designs you might recognize And this is going to be a boxed kit. Which, which I love, because it really shows off the fabric. Devin - And you should open the box, and see what's inside the box. Yeah, so that kit too is a fully custom pre-cut so it's all cut for
you when you buy it and just start sewing Oh that's amazing
I love things like that that's what I need And you can see some of the fabric here Devin - Mhm, we have the eggs, the octopus fabric Kimberly - So these are some of the best-selling prints of y'alls design. This is the one, oh my gosh! You can coordinate, like, your whole - your whole life. Your whole sewing life. I can make, um, drapes for my bathroom where my ironing is. Which is ridiculous! Oh, and then I want to show you something else These are so - ooh, I'm so sorry - These are so nice! There's three right? And, um, they're just pre-made, and they're so nice. There's a gold, a navy, and
Devin - this one matches Sarah's unicorn panel. Kimberly - It's a unicorn, it matches the big, huge unicorn that they're coming out with. It hasn't shipped yet, it should
ship any day, but it has been the most popular thing. Devin - They're fully reversible too, 'cause they're double knit with just two colors. So like this, really soft, really, really nice. And then they have like a little And then the - what is -
Lilly - It's an inflatable dog - balloon dog.
Kimberly - Oh my gosh. So guys thanks for joining me, I really am honored that you're watching and thank
you for all your support and make sure to like this video and subscribe to Fat Quarter Shop channel and I'll see you later!
