MLB 19 Road to the Show - Part 34 - Changed to the EASIEST batting difficulty...

what's up guys and welcome back to MLB 1900 wrote the show today we are gonna have a little bit of fun we are going to be dropping the hitting difficulty down it to a beginner so man I've been I've been thinking about doing this for a while I just I think it would be it would be kind of interesting I'm excited to see what happens if it turns into like a home run derby or if there's really not that big of a difference I don't know we'll see but you guys can see we've got a bunch of different difficulties here we've got beginner dynamic rookie veteran all-star Hall of Fame and then of course legends and so we are going to be backing that down to beginner let's let's go ahead and apply those changes looks good to meet you this is going to be insane and it should be pretty fun I'm excited we've got some games against Tampa Bay here looks like we lost the first game of the series unfortunately but here we go coming in with a 52 game hitting streak let's see if we can keep that going 56 is the all-time record probably try to take that on next episode but this episode is all about the home runs now this is totally not going to become like a regular thing like we're going to move it back to where it was before but like I said I thought it might be kind of fun not really sure what changes I don't know if it gives you more power I don't know if it makes the pitches easier to hit like they'll choose you know fewer breaking pitches and place them better in the strike zone I have no clue what this actually ends up changing so it it should be interesting and who knows if you guys enjoy this move you go to the opposite end of the spectrum eventually we could try the the hardest difficulty so here we go sinker slider splitter and a four-seam first pitch of the at-bat I'm hoping we just start popping off baby there it is that's not gonna have enough scoots through have enough oomph on it but we're gonna get it we're gonna get an easy in there a double out of it honestly I'm just hoping it turns into like a home run derby out here manic he creeps I figured it was the perfect time to try and since we're we're on this hitting streak has been able to do think about kind of kind of get us in an easy spot to be able to try to try to chase it you know what I mean we should get to a 55 game is he looking forward 55 game hitting streak after this episodes over and then if we can do that I would affects everyone else around them but next episodes pushing we can chase 56 and 57 you can't lose sight of trying to win an all-time leader not man the focus of our adventure so it should be funny on this bladder now a moment here did you see what happens I'm gonna take off here that's gonna drop going they're gonna get him at first you know we almost made it from second to home before he made it from home to first on grant we we did steal we had a head start on him but still now batting Daniel Robertson looks like the boys are up 1-nothing the boys in black still gotta play some normal defense who couldn't drop the difficulty on that we had it I'm excited this is I'm hoping it actually results in a difference I want it to be pretty much like a home run derby like what is teeing up some wiffle balls and just cranking up I don't know if that's how it's gonna work I think it might just put the pitches and better spots like easier spots for you to be able to hit and if that's the case it's really I mean homeruns are made in the gym made in the guns you know what I mean it's not really gonna help us out that much right a little bit but that'll bring up Nick's shoot here we go as he's gone to dance to tie this got a turn too to keep the leads and run just 90 feet away at third Oh baby let's go yes sir I mean just beautiful beautiful defense out of the squad right there that's what you love to see Matt Duffy his career line against bottom of the third we're going to try to turn to again we got our sunglasses on no we're not wearing them this time man we're gonna wear our sunglasses at night like a cool guy another great play out of the squad I'm liking what I'm seeing boys I also wonder if the the batting difficulty is easier does it make it easier for our teammates something to think about his last at-bat with another big hit right here first pitch of the at-bat swinging from what I've noticed it seems to be like everything's in the strike zone swinging a liner we'll take it that's gonna be fair finds the outfield grass shoot dude I think it just puts everything in the strike zone I don't think it gives us like suited powers to here I would have hit it out of the park in time make it in to check in with off that's all to see what I was hoping for I'm a little bit disappointed Moncada ways a strikeout victim his first try yeah he's got to put that one box since you count here let's see what you can do is in scoring we're gonna be ok now we're at work I mean we're we're definitely gonna hit a home run becomes 100% gonna hit we honestly should start I'm gonna start power swinging it every day now since we know it's going to be in the end zone at least you haven't seen one outside of the zone yet we're gonna start power swing and that honest it's nice to be able to swing in every pitch that comes at us and not have to think about where it's gonna go this is probably a dangerous thing because you guys know sometimes I get in that mood game fitness and this is probably gonna put us in that final score 3 for 4 with 3 doubles I can feel it in my bones maybe let's get a choice we're gonna we're gonna knock some knock some homers knock some dingers today we're gonna send her over the fence and and see we can do the second batter was hit by a pitch don't see that very often two-seam four-seam slider changeup and a curve like he interesting because it's like starting lineup yes obviously there's an advantage to knowing where it's always good to be in the zone but it really it does not give us any more any more power it you still have to time all the pitches right and everything like I feel like beginner is not that it's kind of easy if you know you can swing it every pitch that's gonna be in the strike zone it it does make it easier but there's still a little bit that you have to do advance the runner without recording an ounce we're down by two nominate a home run to tie the game up caught it right now he'd be certainly just missed it with this guy's big power he's feeling pretty good at the dish look come on go ah off the wall welp that's gonna get him home maybe no he's not he's gonna stay because he's a mean cuz we're playing above the halfway point I thought knocking it down - knocking it down - beginner I thought it was gonna be like one just no runs central I thought I thought we were gonna hit more home runs than anything else unfortunate for you bro that was such a a well hit ball made it easy for us all right coming up to bat so digging in now swing on time for a hit let's go for that four-seam slider changeup at a curve get a guy up first here we go to that last double with a man on first right now let him run and get you a rebbe yank on the ground dude it's gonna be another double no it's not third but it gets by there's gonna be a base hit mine and they're gonna I thought that was gonna have enough Oh to keep going all the way back to the defense but now in quickly he wasn't letting that one go jumped on the first pitch so they definitely haven't pitched us a single ball so far that being said we probably could wait for the right fastball I might try that next ahead on ahead on strikes on us really quick I don't even think about that because it's always going to be strike I mean it's nice to be able to get these easy heads the online gun you really don't Wellington what you got for us so me I know I know your package do you pack and I need you to deliver here with a base you can count two out in the inning you guys think he's gonna strike out you think he's gonna ground that he's gonna sky it into straightaway right ah he's gonna fly awesome dude he didn't do either again that's the third out that's fine chilly wind up with two in the inning but it could have been a lot worse as they leave the bases loaded unfortunately I think that's going to be game that was a big opportunity for us to score some runs right there and Wellington fusion come up clutch I want to play one more game because where that puts us at 54 so we get up to 55 streak but I honestly I just really out of the infield I want to hit a home run if we can't could hit a home run on easy mode I'm gone now is the inning is over I don't know what to say well excitement in the end right these guys came away with it that's the end of the Tampa Bay series we're gonna be facing somebody else at our next our next game afternoon's game we're getting that home run a little bit between the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers the American League's batting leader steps into the box we are hitting home runs today first at-bat of the day oh my gosh my voice just cracked a little bit really hunt start this year and currently cracked like this bat is about 2 4 seem to seem circle changeup and slider to curve whoa a handful of guys that giving out joy the all-star break the way he did he was swinging sing it bat that first half to play himself in first the ball boy over there caught that thing what a great start to the second half for him a little bit late on last Tigers as they begin play here tonight they dropped another one dude [Applause] that's not what I want to see man come on we're we're trying to make something happen here let's go work with me here work with me I'm trying to hit that 420 sign yes goodbye finally happened dude I almost feel like we probably I mean we wouldn't hit more home runs on easier difficulties but I feel like we just knew been chasing this so hard I thought it was going to come so much easier I really did all right so that's 55 hitting 55 55 game hitting streak and down we freakin made it happen it was the push-ups guarantee but 55 game hitting streak next episode it makes you guys check it out because we're gonna be trying to try to chase history they're trying to set the record books which I doubt would ever be broken again we're definitely to go back to the old difficulty that we were on outs to start the home pick things up we hope that we can make it happen first thing she seems sort of changes flattering at twelve six yes sir oh is that gonna get him home they said he'll get it into second I didn't think he was going to go to second dude I figured he was going to try to hit the cutoff and make it home but no okay well that was a mistake my bad Lucien thought towards chicken at least you got the the ribby right and that's the second out dude I would appreciate I would appreciate one more home round we've got two chances to do it Oh actually probably oh this is our last chance running fastball slider changeup twelve six heard down by three performance I thought it was good to go better I'm gonna be completely honest with you guys I mean it definitely there's a big difference there knowing you can swing and literally every pitch is gonna be a strike but it's not like it's a hand down you know what I mean like it's like beginner is not that bad you're you know obviously you're gonna do we're gonna end up applying squirrels gonna find a nut every now and then cuz it's always gonna be a strike but you still have to time it right you still have that the Jimmy stuff to do everything else it's not it's not a handout so anyway hope you guys enjoy the video thank you guys so much for watching we are gonna put the difficulty back up we are gonna get ready to chase history in our next episode and I I'm gonna see you guys there
