I got into comedy to do comedy, which is weird I know. But when you’re in Hollywood and you’re a comedian, everybody wants you to do other things besides comedy. They say “Alright, you’re a standup comedian, can you act?” “Can you write? Write us a script.” They want me to do things that’s related to comedy, but that’s not comedy. That’s not fair. It’s as though if I was a cook, and I worked my ass off to become a good cook, and they said “Alright, you’re a cook, can you farm?”

Back in 2010 I was stationed at Fort Hood. We all just came back from a deployment, we’re all bored and drunk, and we decided on a late night meal of Pizza! We called up the Papa John’s, best pizza ever, and roughly an hour later the pizza was delivered by this goofy looking dude who kept speaking in one liners. We seriously thought this guy was Mitch Hedburg, despite him being passed for quite some time at this point. One rumor was Mitch got tired of the spot light, faked his death, and went some place he didn’t believe he’d be recognized. Anytime we’d order pizza it was always from Papa John’s from that point on but we never got that delivery guy again!
