This is Divi and he's stolen over  29 million views from other content   creators with barely anyone realizing. You  see, he's a Polish Minecraft Youtuber who   blatantly copy and pastes other's content.  Today, I'll be investigating Minecraft's   most explicit content thief, who he is,  how much he's making, and how we can stop him. Before I start telling you about the rabbit  hole that is Divi's channel, you have to see for   yourself just the extent to which he copies other  YouTubers. Take the example of this video uploaded   by Divi, and this video uploaded by sandiction,  there are barely any differences. This is the same   with every single one of his videos. He copies  from channels such as camman18, tazoh, MudFlaps,   and sandiction, and he's slowly expanding the  range of channels he steals from, but he's not   dumb, and he keeps his identity private using  a text to speech voice, and he doesn't include   any links that could possibly connect the dots on  who he is. On the surface, there are absolutely no   clues on Divi's channel to hint at who he is, and  I expected him to be a random person who's trying   to make a quick buck off of YouTube; however, I  was wrong. On a quick YouTube search, I saw a video   in Polish by a user named q szymons (correct spelling, I butchered it in the video), talking about  the situation, and it was interesting to say the   least. I'll let q szymons talk about his findings.  I've been working on Divi's case for over 2 months   now, and as I said before, it was very hard to  find anything that would connect him to someone   else. Divi made his channel in the start of 2022,  and from the start, he was posting videos. Sadly,   all of his original videos are now deleted, and  I haven't been able to find them. The one thing   I found interesting about Divi was his Minecraft  skin because it immediately struck me as similar   to another Polish YouTuber named Dranhis, who  has a bright yellow skin with a similar face   expression to the orange skin. So Dranhis was  one of my leads, but then I also saw that in all   of his shorts, he includes the tag #dexsi, who is  one of the biggest Polish Minecraft YouTubers. It   didn't make any sense, but as I was scrolling  through Dranhis' channel, I realized that he   stole ideas from English Minecraft YouTubers like  IGoByLotsOfNames, just like Divi does, so it would   make sense for Dranhis to be the one operating  the channel, so as to not slander his name, but   still make free money. But there's more, Dranhis  hasn't posted a long form video in 5 months which   is close to when Divi started uploading, so he  probably got bored and started uploading on Divi's   channel to make some money. The Dexsi tag in the  description might be him trying to throw Dexsi   under the bus; however, it's impossible to know  for sure. There's one more piece of evidence I'd   like to mention. Divi originally did not have a  premium account because I would log into cracked   servers as him, but when he bought one, the only  server he joined was PykMC which, guess what, is   owned by Dranhis, well that's all from me. Shout  out to q szymons for helping with this video,   much appreciated, the link to his channel will be  on screen right now. If you guys are wondering,   the reason we know that Divi's account is divi7  is because he accidentally showed it when he   died in the ancient city video. To elaborate on  what q szymons said, divi used to have a cracked   Minecraft account. We know this because to log  into servers, cracked accounts need a passcode   to keep track of their server profile and keep it  safe. Q szymons realized that divi7 wasn't a real   name at the time when Divi uploaded the Ancient  City video and decided to try to enter that name   on the Dranhis server. It prompted him for a  passcode, and he guessed 1 2 3 4, which worked   and allowed him to appear as divi7. This could be  a reason that Divi switched to a premium Minecraft   account; however, after he bought a premium  account, q szymons wasn't able to log in as Divi   anymore, specifically on PykMC, which means that  this was one of the only servers he played on,   and it was coincidentally owned by Dranhis. Some  more things I'll add on is that Dranhis didn't   post any videos from February 2023 to July 17th,  2023, when he returned. This was coincidentally   just 10 days after Divi posted his first short,  which blew up. After he came back, you can also   see the big difference in the content he produces.  Earlier, he produced Minecraft challenges, but   now he posts videos similar to camman18, the same  person Divi has been copying all his shorts from.   Divi also uses similar jargon to Dranhis, such as  the word 'koks,' which is a very old slang word for   gapples in Polish. Now, if you check Divi's videos,  you might see that he actually credits the person   he steals from. This wasn't there a few weeks ago  and was purely the result of him getting called   out, and that definitely doesn't make up for the  fact that he one to one replicates a video. It's   not even inspiration at that point. I checked  some other suspects including a channel called   Smieszny. The main thing that struck me about this  channel was the Minecraft Shorts which were all   stolen from other creators. Smieszny started  copying shorts around November 22nd of 2023,   a couple months after Divi. He also recently  uploaded a video that was one to one copied from   Wunba where he gets every block in Minecraft. Not  only this, he also includes 'inspiration' in the   description just like Divi; however, despite all  this evidence, I doubt that he is Divi because he   was uploading IRL content while Divi was uploading  Minecraft content. I figured he wouldn't have the   time to do both, but after he saw the success  of Divi's channel, he decided to go back to   Minecraft content that he used to upload earlier,  but instead of making original SMP videos, he   would now just copy and paste people's content. It  looks like he gave it a trial run with shorts, and   since he was successful, he's now starting to make  regular videos that are copy and pasted. Anyways,   I decided to do some further digging to gather  more definite evidence that Divi was in fact   Dranhis. I first tried to match the fonts between  their shorts, but it turns out Divi just used the   same font as camman18. I later searched Dranhis  on YouTube to analyze his channel again, but I saw   another channel pop up called Dranczips, and it  seemed to be a second channel. Surprisingly, he's   been posting long form content on this channel,  and they even posted a video on the same day,   and both are highly edited, so if this channel was  Dranhis, I doubt he would be operating it alone   because even if he copies YouTubers one to one, it  still takes time to edit the videos. My theory is   that Dexsi and Dranhis are operating this channel  together which would explain the #dexsi in the   description but the Dranhis like skin. If you look  at Dexsi's shorts, he also puts the #dexsi in all   his descriptions. Not only this, but the skin has  an orange color which is the same color as Dexsi's   Alt's profile picture; however, this is still a  theory, and it will be very hard to prove unless   further evidence is revealed. If you know anything  I don't know, please contact me on Discord. The   next thing I wanted to find out was how much money  he made directly copy and pasting videos, so I   checked his views, and he has around 29 million.  This is a lot, but most of the views are from   uploading shorts that make much less money than  regular videos. According to Hootsuite, a pretty   trustworthy website, the average revenue per  thousand views on a short is anywhere from 5 cents   to 7 cents. Around 28.5 million of the views are  from shorts with a duration closer to the maximum   of 60 seconds. If you don't know, the longer  your short the more money you can make from it,   but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt and  assume he makes 5 cents per thousand views on a   short. Keep in mind that this is an estimate and  isn't meant to be taken as a fact. Now doing the   math, we get a total of around $1,425 for posting  54 stolen shorts, and this is just within the 6   months that he's been posting on his channel. Then  we have to add the additional revenue he makes   from uploading stolen long form content which as  of right now adds up to a total of around 450,000   views. This seems like nothing compared to the  shorts, but long form content earns way more than   shorts. Using a revenue calculator on his first  long form video stolen from tazoh, which got over   200,000 views, we can see that he made anywhere  from $200 to $700; however, considering that he   has a relatively high engagement rate which means  a relatively high watch time (and it was quite a   long video), I can predict that he would have  made closer to $700 off of that video (Similar   to his second video which had similar views and  had a similar length). His most recent video as   of uploading this which is about collecting  mobs has around 30,000 views at the time of   uploading this which probably adds another $150.  In total, he's made around $2,700, assuming he   was monetized for the whole period. I took off  around $300 to account for any overestimation   which is still a crazy amount of money if you  consider that all that money was made off the   backs of other creators. Before I continue, I  would really appreciate if you subscribe to this   channel. It helps me more than you know, back  to the video. I want to mention that I do not   encourage the harassment of anyone featured in  this video, please do not leave hate comments.   Divi is just one example of creators translating,  then directly ripping off other people's content.   YouTube needs to start fighting the problem, but  in the meantime the best thing for you to do is   unsubscribe if you're subscribed. It may not seem  like a big deal, but if a lot of people do it,   it could encourage creators to change their  content. The second thing you can do is leave   a comment providing them with feedback on how to  make original content, but make sure these aren't   hate comments and provide ways for the creator to  move away from copy pasted content. The last thing   you should do is to share this video to anyone you  know who watches any of these creators. Before I   end the video, this video is sponsored by me. I've  recently made some merch based around the Alpaca   theme, purely for people who want to support my  channel or pick up cool Alpaca clothes. If you're   interested check the link in the description, and  with that, thank you for watching and see you next time.
