Minecraft LEGO Sets Are Illegal

minecraft legos they have so much in common a bunch of small blocks coming together to create something bigger so inspirational it's only reasonable to assume that eventually they would come together in one way or another and they have if you're not aware there are minecraft lego sets if you need a break from building with the digital blocks you can switch to the real thing but it's not all sunshine and rainbows you see minecraft lego sets are illegal not in the sort of way that if you own one you have to live your life on the run but if you're familiar with the game at all once you see some of these sets you'll start to see what i'm talking about here let me show you this is a furnace and this is a lego minecraft furnace okay nothing out of the ordinary here this is a block of gold ore and this is a lego minecraft block of gold ore hold on i'm getting there now this is a boat and this is a lego minecraft boat pretty underwhelming right well that's because this is a lego minecraft boat and this is actually an item frame yeah you heard me right an item frame why is it so big aren't item frames supposed to be like a block tall i don't know why don't you ask the person who made beds three blocks long instead of two or the person who used a banner that doesn't even exist in the game or maybe just maybe you could ask the guy who made the lego minecraft cake a circle i mean seriously one of minecraft's most iconic foods which is notorious for being a square and when you make it out of lego bricks you make it circular okay well that's probably because when you have a cake in your inventory it looks round but when you put it down it's a square so i guess alex holding a round cake here is fine but you get the point okay we get it mystery or the lego minecraft sets aren't perfect why are you making such a big deal out of i'm glad you asked but before we can go any further i need to make sure my ladies 65 and older are subscribed you guys are really important to me anyway let's build a minecraft lego set shall we this one is called the panda nursery it features a small bamboo farm a raised platform for the player and what is that does anyone else see what is wrong with this picture is it a the mushroom is the wrong color b i'm just kidding but seriously though there is a red mushroom growing in broad daylight um wait there is a red mushroom growing in broad daylight that's not possible unless the mushroom is on podzol or something well wait is it i know it's not possible in java edition and i checked on bedrock edition 2 and i really thought it might work in 3ds edition but no luck there okay it's gotta work on pie edition i mean when was the last time this was even updated huh it doesn't they must have been playing on the browser demo version of the game mystery or you're overreacting so what if a mushroom is in the wrong spot no i'm not i can keep going um sorry there's a lot more wrong with minecraft lego sets than just an incorrectly placed mushroom let me show you if you were going to build a fenced in area for some chickens and you wanted to break a hole in your fence for a fence gate how many fences should you break if you said one you're wrong well at least according to the chicken coop set it has an impossibly wide fence gate that is twice as wide as it should be and don't even get me started on trying to build this giant chicken you know what no let's talk about it let's just say you bought this minecraft lego set and you decided that you liked it enough that you wanted to build it in game well you can throw those ideas out the window because the scale is completely off i mean look if we know that a furnace is one single block in game then by comparing it to the size of the set and using the advanced procedure of sequential enumeration or counting with our finger we can determine the in-game size of this set in this case the minecraft lego chicken coop set should be nine blocks wide by nine blocks long with a height of eight or nine ish blocks man the math kind of broke down there now if we were to start to build the set everything seemingly goes well until we're ready to build the giant chicken there is no way to accomplish the amount of detail while maintaining the proper scale of the giant chicken using blocks in minecraft does no one else have an issue with this this is criminal outright illegal i will not stand for this okay well i should probably at least try to build the giant chicken in game before i make claims like that you can make the giant chicken poop items though so it still gets a 10 out of 10 from me all right maybe i'm giving lego a hard time i was able to find at least one set that could be assembled nearly identical to how it would be in game it's called the wolf farm it has a lovely grassy area home to many flowers and sheep a river that divides the land right down the middle with stepping stones to make crossing it more leisurely and finally a giant wool statue of a sheep now by once again using the furnace as our scale of reference we can determine the dimensions of the build rather easily and replicate it in game and let me just say everything goes perfectly there are no issues with the blocks being the wrong size or the builds not being possible i was tripped up briefly by the stepping stones but by waterlogging some stone stairs we can achieve the exact same shape the only thing really off is that there's no such thing as tan wool but it's not like the lego company has made any other mistakes in their sets so i guess we can let it slide do you see what i'm getting at that maybe possibly probably it would be a good idea for the lego sets to be true to the game i'm just hoping to not have to guess why it seems like this dispenser is gonna fire an arrow of leaping like what purpose does that have or why they decided to make a lego set with a mob that can only be spawned with a very specific command i mean you're just asking for a modern day version of the aether dimension let down there will be kids spawning bunnies non-stop wondering why they can't seem to get the legendary killer bunny spoiler alert it can only be spawned with a very specific command which means you have to have cheats enabled which means you're probably going to be in creative mode and you don't take any damage in creative mode which means the killer bunny isn't gonna be very killer now is it i do have to say that it makes dueling someone rather interesting though oh hey up there there's actually even more to discuss about this set as well this set is called the skull arena i wonder why it shows two players fighting on a small platform in a lake of lava which is a pretty cool concept to possibly give a player the upper hand there's a chest with loot atop the skull's head that is guarded by the killer bunny there's also potions and a golden apple in other areas of the arena but what interests me the most is that the arrow of leaping that i brought up earlier which now that i think about it is probably more likely an arrow of luck based off that shade of green oh wait it's an era of poison my bad anyways the instructions of the set show that it can be flicked presumably when a player is trying to grab the golden apple on the middle platform but it also shows a warning that it should not be flicked at another person as it could cause them harm naturally this made me wonder how much harm i mean what kind of pansy's going to be hurt by someone flicking a piece of plastic at them children mystery or children speaking of children you can actually flick this thing fast enough that it'd be considered speeding in a school zone now that's illegal you can't defeat the enderdragon in the slammer kiddos the next minecraft lego set i have for you guys is the pirate ship adventure set it features a large pirate ship much like once you find sunken around your world and a small spooky island to search for ludon you might be wondering what's illegal about it well piracy and now for the grand finale i have saved the best for last there are many and i mean many minecraft lego sets that deserve their own criticism but when i look at the minecraft lego creeper mindset i see nothing short of a crime this set looks like it was put together by somebody who knows nothing about the game let's take a creeper minecraft's most recognizable mob and fuse it with what you do in about 50 percent of the game mine i'm glad they chose creeper mine because the other half of the game is crafting and creeper crafting table just doesn't have the same effect anyways what's so wrong with this set well for starters the centerpiece of the set is a gigantic creeper statue that just isn't even close to being possible to be built in game i mean let's just ignore the impossible amount of detail on the shapes and focus on the color really quick how would we even build this there aren't very many blocks that are this shade of green i mean just to name a few we got the green wool or leaves and not only are both of those horrendously ugly building with those is a horrible idea given how close this thing is to a flowing lava source we do have concrete but again even if we wanted to build with it there's just no way to achieve this amount of detail plus there's no concrete stairs or slabs so we would be building with solid blocks which kind of makes the old green top not look so bad huh the cool thing about this set is you're supposed to be mining gold you can see all these blocks of gold ore and bits of gold pieces and what's neat is you can put the gold pieces in the top of the creeper and it flows all the way down to a mine cart and yay we're having fun but let's just think about this really quickly here the area at which gold war spawns is relatively far underground so you're telling me that if we were to use this in-game you would mine the gold war underground take it back to the surface but then climb even higher just to deposit it in the top of the creeper statue for it to flow back down into a mine cart when you could have just walked it to where it needed to go and on top of that you can see on the back side of this creeper here this is obviously meant to be water items float like it wouldn't sink and go down with the flow of the water i don't know i'm probably missing something here on top of all that this set is positioned in one of the craziest locations i've ever seen the creeper mine itself is quite literally straddling three different biomes all at the same time the desert the mesa in some form of mountains that's crazy and i haven't even talked about the size of the mine shaft mine shafts in game are three by three this one is like seven by five so the scale for this set is just completely out of whack remember that item frame i showed you earlier yeah it hangs at the entrance of this gigantic mine shaft other things just to mention a gigantic ladder another long bed and a freaking huge mine cart i mean this thing is literally three by two not to mention that there's a double chest in it there are no double chest minecarts in the game so what is all hope lost are the minecraft lego sets just a stain on the community no that's minecraft girlfriend videos there is hope and we can do something and it starts with you and me okay together we're gonna correct what is wrong and bring balance back to the minecraft community and it starts with this minecart shouldn't be too much of an issue to fix on second thought let's just leave it to the professionals you
