Mike Tyson Almost Beat Up Tim Conway!

I am 640 it is the Conway show ladies and gentlemen the champ is with us Mike Tyson what's happening man you were eight even though I'm a little older than you you're a big part of months I know only three years but you're a big part of my childhood ma'am watching those fights every time you fought wherever whoever it was I found myself at a friend's house watching it from beginning to end and and anyone else fighting I could really care about but I could care less but when you were fighting man I made sure watch every I watched every single round every every punch you threw thank you I saw as a child and I and I enjoyed it I really did it was a big part of growing up thank you yeah and now but now it sounds like you're really enjoying life now you know you don't have to train anymore you know you're back in the ring with these idiots you know you're really enjoying it huh did you ever did you enjoy it enjoy the the hype like you live in Vegas now right yeah so when you drive down the strip you can remember the big nights absolutely you know and the millions of people that were watching I mean that was you know what an adrenaline you know but I mean you know like for me I'm adrenaline junkie anyway by driving you know down the strip and seeing your picture on every billboard and and everybody that shows up in the town is looking at you that's it's it's got to be you know the greatest feeling in the world it was pretty cool back then yeah but you got now your training by the way when you fought other guys I know and the list is endless did you did you hate them no they hate them you didn't because he I would hate them but after I hate them to get in the ring with them I guess there's a difference right little difference but now you now you have interesting business going on you have the Tyson ranch yes and in January this year you bought 40 acres yeah and you're gonna start the one of the biggest cannabis resorts for growers and enthusiasts in the world hey you still write that's great man now did do you smoke at all yes everyday everyday that's great that's great news but back when you're fighting you couldn't know I didn't fighting and not at all maybe after the fight huh one fight I did I got disqualified really they drug tested you and you got DQ'd to it yet Wow and then that's the guy out they call this oh that's horrible yeah what can you do but I imagine after a fight though you know some of the fun most of the fights you knocked this guy out in the first first round yeah but 44 your fights ended in knockout yeah well you knock the dude out but after a fight I imagine if it went on you know eight nine ten rounds you know you're probably sore probably you know for a couple days afterwards but you guys always had a lot of pressure to go out that night to the club and you know to really get things rolling you must had a massive headache when you went out no way I never party before a fight no but afterwards laughter ball afterwards is unbelievable huh yeah I mean you they probably put you up in the presidential suite of whatever yeah and I yeah and that's when you were now you were single at the time too yes and so I mean look everybody knows I mean you had the you know the greatest once the fight was over did you ever think while you were fighting jeez I can't wait to get through this cuz I had to go up the president's way you never thought that where the pots were that never thought I'd know they're right but now you also have a big deal going on this week and one of the reasons you're here is you have comedy for a cause yes and standing United it's a non-profit charity that gives you the much-needed assistance to people struggling with addiction and a homelessness it's gonna be tomorrow night at the city national Grove in Anaheim seven o'clock doors open and you can get tickets if you go to the website standing United calm yeah how did you get involved with this one part many had told me about it he was he's a big advocate of the homeless and the veterans and so on it was a no-brainer I wanted to be involved with it oh it's fine out here that's pretty cool and so the tickets you can get them right now standing United comma to be happening tomorrow I got a quick story for you here who food my my dad you know Tim Conway's right okay comedian not knots righty what did i do you did a lot of movies you know apple dumpling gasps you know with Don Knotts I heard you used to watch the Apple Dumpling game before a fight is that true no that's untrue all right but so you're at Hollywood Park yeah and you're with Don King yes that's a true story used to go to duck with the Holly Park with Don Campbell okay so you're at Hollywood Park is a turf club with Don King and my dad sitting at the table next to you and my dad is known Don King for decades because they grew up together in Cleveland you know they grew up in the same era in Cleveland and so my dad leans over to Don King I guess you were telling a loud story about something and Don King is sitting with you and my dad leans over to Don King and says hey can you tell that guy to keep it down and your reaction was to jump over Don King to try to grab my dad to knock him out no way that's true sorry and Don King he's a friend of mine that's Tim Conway and you saved my dad's life you know he saved my dad's life and he tells that story to this day and he says he's never been more scared in his life but he saw you stand up and he thought you were gonna knock his ass out come I'm sorry can you stay with us yeah okay all even after you're boxing a career when you're sitting here you're very intimidating like you think still you could still knock the crap out of most guys right I know trying yeah you got bet you still story long story are there a lot in the past are you in the boxing game no no no alright but you're in the weed game now I mean we're in the weed business now yeah I love it and we're when is where is this ranch Palm Springs area yeah on the 10 we split the ten Desert Hot Springs in Palm Springs the Desert Hot Springs size is set up with a Tyson University what's a Tyson University are you teaching there he's the name yeah yeah prize the sampler what do you what do you learn at Tyson University what is it there's a curriculum will be posted up on the Tyson ranch website but it's it's tied to UCLA and you and West Virginia that's pretty cool all right so the cannabis ranch this could be 405 acres outside of Palm Springs what can we see there when you get out there you'll see a the longest lazy river in the world right let's go running around a very high high end I would say we Ritz Carlton style glamping nice which is when is it opening our goal is 18 months to be open then there'll be a large amphitheater out there that's gonna with our festival called kind that's pretty good it's called the Tyson ranch well the Tyson ranch yeah that is pretty neat oh yeah I can't wait to get out fighting you watch boxing or UFC yes I do what's your favorite who's your favorite fighter now don't could be now can be now be okay could be okay and if you if you know if you were if this was right now and you were in your Prime would you get in to UFC would you know way into that way don't pay much money right they don't pay enough what's the biggest check you ever cashed forty million dollars right and you saw the check yeah and and you just watched you walk down the bank and deposit it yeah that is unbelievable what a moment huh pretty cool I mean you came from very little money no money at all nothing you know I really enjoyed at one point your life you know I I'm a big big fan of pigeons and you had pigeons at what do have you still have them and are they homing pigeons no they're rolling pigeon rolling pigeons oh I see all right summer so it's okay but you had a ton of them at one point yes and and and I remember a picture of you with all those pigeons I thought that was really cool you said you still got a bunch of at your house yes I do how many you got right you have other exotic animals or anything no do you live alone no and I have a wife and two kids how old your kids one day seven oh that's beautiful and I bought girl two boys but boy and a girl I bet the girl is the love of your life huh she's pretty awesome yeah and nobody nobody thinks about touching her with somebody yeah but man oh man imagine showing up at the house you know she turns 18 and her seventeen she's going to the prom and she opens up that door and she sees that Mike Tyson's are dead yeah yeah he's gonna put on those hockey skates man he's gone but that's uh that really is cool and you live outside of Las Vegas yeah ten miles and and is that it was that the one place where you enjoyed fighting more than anywhere else pretty much so yes where is the favorite place to fight Caesars for MGM Grand Hotel the MGM Hilton of the Hilton yeah we were you a fan of boxing other than you know the guys that you fought were you like fan of like the you know Dooku Kim or any of the other box old the fighter here a man seen in all those guys right and you enjoyed watching that yes yeah and what do you do now you a football fan no it's mostly yes the in tennis right do people swarm you everywhere you go oh no maybe you're probably one of the most recognizable people in the world sometimes you know and you go overseas you go over like Japan or China they'll go crazy for you right sometimes and you enjoy that yes I bet huh all right this cannabis i you know a big huge cannabis business you're getting into you know it sounds like it's exciting 405 acres out there in Palm Springs and it's gonna be open at 18 months I hope you come back when it opens you know we hope you come people struggling with addiction and homelessness it's tomorrow October 18th at the City National Grove in Anaheim 7:00 p.m. doors open at 6 p.m. there's a silent auction there and you're gonna be a difficult fight for you he's a great fighter yeah and then were you friends shortened shortly after that no you guys hate each other for a while well right did you at once the fight was over though you know you guys are both staying it was at the Hilton wherever you guys were fighting you guys are both staying at the hotel it was dangerous you guys could have run into each other and then it was game on again yeah but it didn't happen yeah but at that but it but Las Vegas was the premier place for fighting and it always in my opinion you know always that the greatest fights happened in Las Vegas they knew how to put on a fight I agree and and and would you still what's the big fight coming up as fights coming up that in Vegas I have no idea what's the big fight coming up you gamble in Vegas no you don't gamble at all no no you never gambled I don't know that's wild I mean I know you guys walk through here like you're like Aaron bender here and Bender goes to Vegas just for the food and the show that's time I was in Vegas no gambling didn't gamble at all guy goes to Vegas doesn't gamble at all you like Mike Tyson buddy you entice they have a lot in common all right please come back when the rains often happen I really appreciate you coming in and I know that some you know you got a lot going on you got a lot of people here with you but again watching you fight on any Saturday night you know especially in Las Vegas was one of the one of the coolest memories of my childhood growing up and be able to sit there and watch a Mike Tyson fight and then to meet you is really special thank you very much it really is oh we got what you got what cuz I'm the best ever rent okay let's play this no I'm Alexander he's no Alexander I'm the best ever they've never been
