Midjourney 5.2 | 50 styles for prompt inspiration

[Music] foreign [Music] and I like to experiment with all kinds of things related to AI I am back exploring the styles that produce interesting results with mid-journey most of these have come from using the describe feature on all kinds of images that were interesting to me and then just attempting to do trial and error I tested out a big list of them and sorted out 50 stars to inspire you the criteria for selecting them was either that the images looked really cool or they looked very different from mid-journey's usual default style for version 5.2 or both so my way of prompting usually goes like this I have taken each word or word combination and combined it with three subjects they are landscape portrait and architecture those should give a general idea of what the styles do in different contexts and I have used the same seed for each of them which is dash dash seed 777. before you get a chance to ask 777 is just a random number and I recommend skipping it all together unless you want to make exactly the same images as I have all of the images were generated with relaxed mode so if you put in the exact same prompt with the exact same seed number using relaxed mode you probably will get the exact same image as a result but without further explanations let's just go ahead and start off with 2D game art kind of looks like what it's supposed to be definitely not 3D [Music] everything abstracted cityscapes there is a hint of cities faces in portraits lots of tiny details and strong colors art deco definitely a very well-known style but a nice elegant and sophisticated result with mid-journey Art Nouveau inspired illustrations love the Swirls and architecture looks amazing with this illustrative Style boom ivory color and very intricate bone structures architecture looks especially cool [Music] colorful skull shapes really bright and vibrant colors intertwined with skulls [Music] contemporary quilts very interesting textures kind of a collage of quilts [Music] covered in swirls obviously very swirly looking images I love the look of the landscapes [Music] Cubist cityscapes cities made of colorful robust geometric shapes foreign dark and intricate very Gothic feel big staircases nighttime and love ornateness of the headdresses and dresses [Music] dark black and beige love this color combination on landscapes portraits and architecture don't look that special [Music] dark cyan and green continuing with dark themes love the green tone especially with Landscapes and architecture [Music] dark cyan and indigo more dark tones but this time with bluish tones again love the Landscapes and portraits look good too dark white and indigo ethereal and Misty Landscapes white clothes on portraits and quite modern looking architecture with nice shapes [Music] dark yellow and dark White I like this color combination very different style result with different subjects Decay and decayed predictable results with Landscapes and architecture but portraits look a lot different from usual thank you detailed comic book art partly comic style filled with so many details occasional superheroes portraits look stylistically different from the rest [Music] dripping paint very cool effect on all of the subjects surprisingly colorful without specifying that it should be colorful [Music] elaborate costumes the elaborate costumes have taken over basically all other subject matter but they look awesome Fantastical otherworldly visions indeed very Fantastical and otherworldly images love the colors of the landscapes folk art love the childlike style colors are nice and colorful without being bright and neon like usually happens when emphasizing colorfulness Gold Leaf double meaning word portraits and Landscapes have Golden Leaves architecture is covered with gold sheets [Music] Gothic illustration exactly what it's supposed to look like architecture is especially awesome [Music] Gothic realism similar to previous but still stylistically a bit different [Music] graphic novel inspired kind of a cartoon or comic look green silhouettes a small change for the usual black Silhouettes love the color and the Double Exposure look intricate costumes similar to elaborate costumes but Landscapes and architecture show up more in the images [Music] intricate underwater worlds blue fishy and lots of corals must be tropical underwater worlds inventive character designs portraits are exactly what they're supposed to be but Landscapes look more like the architecture Whimsical though [Music] light silver and dark indigo lovely colors architecture case doing some crazy Interiors mixed media mosaics cool Mosaic effect on the images Landscapes look especially nice Mosaic like collages Mosaic but different shapes are quite irregular compared to the previous images nightmarish illustrations slightly less nightmarish than I remember this style looking but still looking dark and sinister playful use of texture exactly that very cool textures especially the one tree that looks almost 3D [Music] plush doll art portraits look especially nice and somewhat creepy Landscapes look very cool too like Worlds made of all kinds of materials poster art lovely colors Landscapes look especially epic PS1 graphics I don't think PS1 Graphics look this good but there is a subtle direction towards old video game graphics RTX on slightly sharper video game Graphics especially the portraits foreign costumes very awesome looking effect on the costumes especially with landscape with the flowers and roots and branches solar Punk lovely futuristic domes and cities with so much light spirals very nice effect on landscapes and portraits architecture is kind of predictable but cool anyway splattered circles these look so cool such vibrant colors on more modestly colored backgrounds and sometimes almost abstract steampunk creatures an old favorite of mine but with creatures and portraits and the architecture creatures look especially fun [Music] surreal cyberpunk I guess these are more sci-fi than surreal but I like the portraits and the shiny textures [Music] swirling circles lovely combination of Swirls and circles architecture looks still kind of nonsensical toy-like proportions cute toys and miniature effect [Music] Whimsical Skyline indeed Whimsical more like cityscapes but there does seem to be Skies Whirly really cool effect on the landscapes [Music] wood veneer mosaics very cool look for the Landscapes especially Mosaic but at some places even looking kind of 3D yellow and gold really yellow but some Shine from the gold [Music] okay there you go these were possibly some of the final styles for mid-journey V 5.2 that I will share there are rumors going around that there could be a new 5.3 aesthetic soon so I am not sure if I will have enough time to create any videos before that happens as I will want to do an exploration of 5.3 as soon as it is released as always I hope you
