Microwave Popcorn Poppers

can you believe how fast time is flying it seems like yesterday I was handing out candy to the kids at the front door and now we're already talking about the Christmas holiday all right guys I want to do a quick update before we get into our our popcorn poppers okay the hover cover i hate's verbally said in my video was a failure I can't recommend this to everybody because your microwave may not have a metal roof inside but the device if it had a metal roof would work properly so it isn't a failure product but it's a failure in my home a meaning I can't use it so I wanted to clarify that so I did put the link down below for a hover cover in the last video if you're interested in getting one of these make sure to take a frigerator magnet and check the roof of your microwave so that you can just flick and just stick it right up there until you need it and bring it down on your food so when I had showed you the better sponge on toys in the kitchen I found out later that it was a Chinese knockoff and I'd already done the video and all that so I'm not gonna mail the cheap ones to my winner whoever I choose to get the better sponge I bought I bought a whole brand-new set the real brand better sponge so this one's gonna go out to the winner okay I haven't chosen winners yet so if you haven't watched toys in the kitchen go back and watch my last two videos and get get signed up for all the giveaways alright I guess that's it right we covered everything cool let's get into some popcorn [Music] alright here's the one that I got from QVC this is a popcorn popper and they come in three packs and this is one of the three colors I think the other one was a pink and a yellow or no pink and a green I took this one because it was the most masculine color of the three the other two I'm gonna give away as gifts to friends I got three of these popcorn poppers for $30 I believe this is a 3 quart look at that looks like a coffee pot doesn't it this silicone lid it also your measuring cups so I'm gonna put in 2 2 littles so you go right to the line okay right to the fill line and then you dump it in that's half a bowl because this is a bigger version they have a smaller one this is the 3 quart one I want to uh said you have a bowl alright you know I'm just gonna have a bowl for now and I'm going to place some butter right here if you put this right on top as the microwave cooks the popcorn it melts the butter on top of the popcorn you're gonna set this it says the first time you use this two and a half minutes but it all depends on your microwave I'm gonna go three minutes on the microwave but don't watch the time listen to the pop when you start hearing the Pops being more than two seconds apart one one thousand two one thousand no popping stop the microwave so I'm gonna put this in the microwave butters up here I got one scoop which is half a bowl let's see how this does okay now while it's in the microwave want to go over these flavors that I got at Bed Bath & Beyond you can get these anywhere you can get them on Amazon I'll put a link down below if you want to buy these but it's white cheddar you could shake these right on your popcorn garlic parmesan this is the one I'm excited about there's kettle corn and cheesy jalapeno and then this one's kind of a gooey one this is called drizzle brittle caramel popcorn topping let's get it out of here and take a look oh and be careful steam burn you know and do what I just did alright here we go so there you go beautifully pop popcorn nothing burned got a little butter on there all right let me warn you something don't put your popcorn shaker over the steam this is steamy still a little bit okay don't because the moisture gets into here clumps up your seasoning this is what you do ready put in your hand get a little bit of seasoning in your hand put your container away and then just slowly just Pat around it jalapeno here we go mmm that's good this one's really cool it's the collapsible microwave popcorn maker by Cuisinart this is it you open it up it opens like it's all silicone that's your lid right there hmm get your little steam holes all around they say just put you know if you want five cups so I'm gonna do this half way okay you want five cups of popcorn this holds ten cups by the way just do two tablespoons of kernels we're just gonna rough estimate there I go there we go let's close it up there it is pretty light let's put it in the microwave so since I have to add my stuff at the end I can't but butter in well it's cooking I have brought out same brand it's the kernel seasons movie theater butter that's right and with drizzle this on top toss it around we'll try it out all right they warn you that this container may be a little warm so get some hot holders or or let it set like I did just for a minute being get your hands on it when you open the lid open it away from you so the steam doesn't burn you that looks even better doesn't it that looks beautiful it's the ward out and see how many kernels didn't pop I don't all right see well there they are okay there's about I would say about ten that I just saw it come out they didn't pop all right that just looks whiter look just has a better color nice all right so let's get a little butter on it toss it around now let's give it a try how many kernels didn't pop I don't all right see well out of this container to see how many kernels pop just for video purposes you guys can butter in the bowl yeah one two three there's about ten kernels it didn't pop you guys can butter in this
