you went to the premier is this right you went to the premiere right but but didn't didn't watch it i don't watch no it why why is it can you not bear it or about 15 years ago i was doing a movie and i put on a hat and uh the next day i went to look at the rushes i didn't like the hat i wanted to change it the director said no so i refused to watch anything from then on oh right because if i see something i don't like it gets me bent you know you get a noise yeah i don't want to get annoyed so i don't all right now i think contractually i've show a clip now do you mind do you mind if i don't watch you look at the ground we'll watch it okay i think it's it's fairly substantial it's the the this this guy you've got you you've kind of employed him and he's very high on i would just say speed but still speed crank yeah yeah crank there's a good gear yeah crap crank it up i'm feeling so cool now crap that's what he's on crank so you're in a porn shop you're important that's right isn't it yeah yeah and he sort of out of his head on drugs you're talking to him and suddenly he has this kind of hallucination is this with the uh the scene with the guy from judas priest no the english senator the english singer he's in the movie he probably didn't recognize him oh is he the bald headed guy oh he's behind the counter yeah oh no he's not in this clip i didn't know he's from judas priest oh yeah oh right yeah oh right no i just thought he was some local friend i just thought he was some local puff who was working in the southern area no that's robert leave robert alone for did went to new york you wanted to be an actor or you didn't know what you wanted to do well i was my first profession i was a fighter i got hurt they told me to take some time off i took the rest of my life off i went to new york because i thought it was easier than getting up at five in the morning doing them and uh this was like 19 something where they would have platforms i had platform shoes on i'm talking about eight-inch platforms so i'm from florida you know do you know that i did yeah i'm from florida i went up to new york and i've never been in the cold weather it's snowing out there's ice and i went there with a little cuban guy that was about five foot two who thought he was like scarface you know we're up there and we didn't really want to work we wanted to steal be thieves we didn't really but we got a job uh parking cars it was wintertime we both have platform shoes on and like silk shirts you know we just wanted to look good he got rid of his platforms before i did so we were like this walking dead um so i did that for a bit and then he uh he was good looking he looked like a cuban version al pacino and we didn't have much money then so his name was little eddie so i'd say eddie what are we gonna do so we ended up going into uh this gay bar and uh because eddie was good-looking you know it's about yourself but he didn't want to work either so okay we realized that the gay bars in the village then were the place you know everybody went who didn't who was running away from being something else queer back then yeah right yeah yeah so we go into this gay bar shoe pool and you know these guys had come up buy his drinks and then tuesdays and thursdays they had buffets so we could eat so what we did we went around to all the different gay bars and like tuesday thursdays and fridays and wednesdays we go to different gay bars and we would eat and still not work and then eddie realized he could make money doing other things eating more than the right [Applause] is obviously your creative force that's the way you express yourself but some people some people they can't act they can't actually well yeah and i used to say what it was that's why i'm out of work oh you can't say i hate working with that you know and i would say names back then you would say no yeah have you changed i had i had to so now i don't want to get too heavy here because i know you know if somebody takes himself real serious here i've seen you rip them up no oh yeah [Applause] [Music] robert's making his face you don't make a face no when they announced my name now listen i'm so pleased you're here and another great thing about you is you like dogs is it four you've got i've got four and the other half as the other four oh and they're little dogs little dogs little dogs uh and now do i have a picture of you with a dog oh i've got that picture of you uh walking along with one of your dogs there yeah there you are and you do bring them everywhere everywhere everywhere everywhere everywhere oh i wish i know me too and in one of the pictures i saw you quite like um you're quite in favor of the dog clothing really i saw that i saw you when i had the dog and little baby thing here hey i saw that and there was another one um i think it was a spawn at sundance you had a chihuahua in a nice little uh sweater oh loki yeah yeah it was a nice little sweater it was nice oh yeah yeah you said that yeah i didn't see that yeah so knowing that you like right dogs and dog clothes no because normally dog clothes are a bit crap in fairness they are a bit rubbish but um so we found this this is a really quality range of dog clothes now here's a nice oh isn't that gorgeous isn't that lovely oh and i've even got where's my picture where's my picture there's a picture of the dog enjoying said garment there isn't that cute lovely isn't that lovely take it honestly take them home take them home robert now uh this is my favorite one see if i ever did get a dog right i might want to take the dog out at night right right i'm going into a bar there might be a bouncer at the door saying graham i'm not sure that dog is gay that's when that's when i would pop it into its very own gay vest completely little dog tags there's the gay dog in his gay car cute we love that they're all yours all yours now maybe this is rubbish now but you were a bouncer was it a transmission club yeah a night club yeah i would start at 10 o'clock until early in the morning and they would come in the transvestites you know you look at this feminine looking thing that looked like something you might want to you know get it on with you know some of them were really good looking you know and but some of them like you grab them to go okay you've had enough and they've got bigger biceps than you do you know and so and all of them had their teeth knocked out because they got big mouths and they fight and they're men you know they're not women you know that but some do you know that robert learned your bitter experience and so i then did the movie and i realized okay i could play a transvestite you know steve called me up steve buscemi was doing is it animal factories in a movie about prison a prison in philadelphia a famous very tough prison in philly and he gives me a call i was out of work as usual and uh he says i have a job for you i said oh rick somebody's got a job me he says try to play transvestite i figure because all about prisoners i think i'd be you know one of the prisoners one of the boys you know i read the script and i called him back i said you're kidding right he said no so i went out and um i remembered that the transvestites all had their teeth knocked out so i went to the dentist and i ruined a very good bridge yeah and then i went to all the trashy lingerie and the fredericks and all that and got the underwear and the brassiere the bra brazier yeah we hear you yeah the french manicure and then i decided to get on the plane in character i thought you know this look there's a little kid down there a little mexican boy with his mother and i looked over i forgot i had the teeth out you know then i had the eyeliner you know so i smiled at him you know when he cried i thought the worst thing was i'm on the plane you know how to wait the waitress the stewardesses come over and go sir would you like a drink ma'am would you like a drink she got to me and she went listen you have you have starred in some hollywood's greatest movie so tonight what we thought we'd do is we'd pay homage to your acting career by getting the audience to recreate some classic movie scenes some yours some not yours but first i need about three all right
