morning welcome back to the channel and welcome back to another video on the little MG today is the day for this little car it's going to be getting a wash after 29 years we are going to start with the airline and blow air as much of the dust as we can we have just pulled it out shut all the doors because we've done want that dust flying around and just landing on something else so that's how it looks at the moment take a minute or note that and obviously the inside really does need blowing air just by opening the doors and pushing it out quite a lot of it has blown off already I love the comments on cleaning the wings with our clothes but this wing here this side before Chris even started work he did walk that off the other day that wasn't all cleaned up just with his clothes so I'm gonna have to put it in time-lapse while we do the inside but when we come to washing it I think we're gonna try and do a bit of it on film because quite a lot of you do want to see that they stop waffling on get involved and try and get this cleaned up [Music] so it still wants a good good Hoover and a cling but I managed to blow away at least half of the dust that was all over it and as you would have seen now on that bit of time that's it was just flying everywhere I'm so glad I put the mask on and the overalls but that's how far we've got along with it we're now gonna move on chris is gonna hold the camera and I'm actually gonna jet wash this sword of the car and what we'll actually film that so that you guys can see it all coming off as well and then we'll probably pop it in time-lapse to do the complete wash on it it's gonna be hard to film the whole thing [Music] very good underneath all doubt that does it surface rust and paint flaking it still seems quite solid over what do you think still got a bit of a shine on it it certainly makes a difference let's get the whole thing washed up and have a proper walk around it [Music] so quite a lot of work there cleaning that up that has taken a good few hours just before I do have to walk around cause I know quite a lot if you do like to do the registration chips and find out a little bit more about it and I actually called the ownerle pop diver with a back lawyer and both number plates so we have screwed those on now it's not fantastic it doesn't eat some work but still a very very solid car but washing it off really does show all the imperfections and marks quite a lot of you in the last video thievery chat and said it looks like the wings add a crunch and the wings actually obviously had a cruncher twice because we've got broken filler here so it was obviously weird head at some point he did tell me that they reversed one of their trainers into this why it was in storage and that is what's calls that cracking and obviously didn't hit the wing but he has told me he's got every part to fully restore this car and that is the future plan I also asked why it was parked in that barn and never had the roof part on and he said he come back from LeMond drove it in there I'm just you know it was a summer or it was nice weather he said a new door PA and it the next day so I didn't bother putting the roof on he said the next I lead you to a week then a month than a year and then you know it just went from there and it got forgotten about but it does have great sentimental value and you know we have got to take this car back God did mention it in the first video we was just picking it up for a bit of content to put out for you to you know see a will it run and giving it a clean off for all that time but there's quite a lot of surface rust on it but all these are very very repairable and quite a lot of you did mention and Chris did say everything is available for these cars you can pretty much build one of these cars we can build one from scratch every single part is available quite a lot of eagle-eyed people did notice there has got 1275 inch anything it would have been a 1095 so it has had an engine upgrade at some point I have did give it a good wash under all the arches but I think we saw that when it was up on the ramp it's very very clean underneath and all this is just surface rust so this is all very very repairable indicate or wasn't with the Lord when he popped it over so we have only been able to pop the lower on but we have put the roof back on it as well and it had two huge holes in the roof like something is chewed its way right through so we have put some duct tape on there just to try and stop that that's definitely II's know a nice repair and roofs with duct tape but let me know what you think of this in the comment section how it come up it looked amazing when it was wet but the more drier it got it started taking it away and obviously you can see the full extent of it if you'd say to me when he bought this car 1990 or something like that I believe he said this car wasn't in fantastic shape when he bought it it already needed quite a lot of paintwork they it still needs now and it did have various rust marks on it asking the side as you can see it did come up quite nice so give it a real real good blower and a good Hoover and I've run over these seats we have a bit of silicon and a cloth just to try and get them up clean and we've you know a whole die on this I'm sure you would get it up a lot lot better overall for the time that we've spent doing it we're quite you know we're quite happy with the way it come out quite clean I did give a little bit of a blow-off granny out swords of the sword inside edges of all the wings there just to get all the grime out of it but that is pretty much it lovely lovely old car just really really needs to do in and when he just popped over with the number plates he said well now you've got it running and you've given it a claim I'll book it in and maybe fit the wing himself and get he booked him round a pint shop and have all the work done on it I'm just gonna move off subject for a minute quite a lot of you been reaching out about the parts van we are repairing Chris's van this pause van we bought many many years ago to put in a van Oh Chris Paul that was flood damage the engine was knackered in the van II bowl so we put this free thousand-mile engine in his van we dim purchased another van about two and a half years ago and we repaired it using the parts off of this van or either wing front panel radiators we have got those and we're picking them up this afternoon for the new van but a lot of people said this looks really nice what's wrong with it it is a category B and it is hit very very hard in the back sorry I'm trying not to show the number plate people just start doing checks on it and it is it's a category bait all the gaps will shut up on it this whole lot shunted and underneath the chassis is all lettered so that is I parts land only back onto the mg it is gonna be the end of today's video let me know what you think on the little mg I've want to thank you all very much for watching guys check out the merchandise the link is in the description like subscribe and share thank you again and we'll see you very very soon in the next one
