Mexican Dads Try Each Other's Ceviche

[Music] my name is rod the South Central Los Angeles born and raised I'm here to make the ceviche take the crown my name is highteeeee red corner and i'm the returning champ previous night was scary sava my name is Robert Alvarez and I'm back to win it well makes the best of each a is you got to separate them out cook your shrimp first I'll make that the marinade and then you gotta put salt on the vegetables and let the water and the juices flow I think the perfect of each it's not heavy when you eat it ceviche is one of my favorite foods and I've been doing it for a while that's of each is because it's over power and the condiment so much I need too much tomatoes I have some batter ceviche were like no flavor they think just by adding lemon and salt it's gonna be a ceviche the biggest mistake is people put avocado in early so we have a catering business we do tacos I micheladas that's a feature that we do it has our michelada mix in there al parientes mix the best feature to me obviously is the money I may advise have each year it's a hundred percent good they're gonna get a biter that's the meat you're gonna put in their mouth and they're just gonna go all man to my opponents I wish him luck good luck up there [Music] [Music] you know it looks like my little nephew put it together you know just got some chips broke them apart put the seviche on top you know like meat um hey go get some ceviche real quick it looks good it looks it has plenty of color in there seems like it has the right ingredients a little salty taste pretty good get a little bit all the ingredients to get a proper taste it's like a little flavor to it this is lacking the crunch of it soggy but it's good all right so start the chip I like the crunchiness behind it to help me with the texture it's missing some ingredients I can't really say what it is no I feel like it could use a little more seasoned even though it's a little salty maybe there's not enough tomatoes is what it is it's missing the avocado other than that it's good maybe some more onions I like onions let's get that fishy flavor to it I know what is missing that kick with the jalapenos when I scale of 1 to 10 I would probably read it out a 6 so I had to rate it okay I'll give it a 6 the crown is mine can you see it it's a pretty good competition to tell you the truth every second thoughts about my my own self eat you know [Music] all right so far I kind of like the avocado spread the waste like that let's see let me try this out super diced up right which scares me [Music] ceviche has no flavor it's I need some more lemon has no spice no no no cake where's the kid that said we just to have some spice on it I don't really taste the lemon yeah I don't know this one feels real bland don't feel no salt in it at all I think the ceviche is missing flavor I'm tasting a lot of cilantro on here yeah I'm done with this one no chili no spice if I give this to my family you throw back at me like yo what the heck is this you better go to the store and get some at Albertson's if I will give that to my family they will not eat it that's a no-go Oh a 1 to 10 or 3 seemed that they just grabbed it from a can or something just throw it in there oh yeah 5 I'll get rid of 5 just be courteous but how hurry do you want I can tell [Music] let's try this other one this one the camarones a little bit too big and kind of looks like an hour chilly not a seviche in Australia okay this one has the avocado but it's like in the flavors of all the what is the beach is supposed to taste like this one better not eating this one seemed like they true they made like a whack Amole sauce and thrown in there it feels a little undercooked with the citrus juices save each it has to have cucumber I don't see cucumber in this one the other one has more flavor to it I don't know if it's the salt that it this one is lacking the salt overall so it's alright I guess it's okay Dokka marinades are a little bit too big I have some cucumber more chili I hope I can hold a crown and hope they like mine my ceviche my family will probably eat it but they will not enjoy I will read this off earlier five mine's better I will give this one a five I think mines way better sorry guys [Music] that it holidays feels good feels good laughs you guys want some good ceviche we gotta look for my michelada mixer that gives it the flavor help re-enters mix man you guys they don't work on your cell reaches you know I just add a little bit more flavor a little bit more chili to the family you guys are lucky you guys have a good that that cooks good make some good ceviche [Music] like you
