okay so I've already recorded a facial motion capture sequence uh I've uploaded it into Unreal Engine and I processed it this is kind of what it looks like this is a test hiy ho friends so we can clearly see that the head rotation data is there and what we're going to do is now export the animation twice one with head rotation and one without so this one will be the one with head rotation enable head movement tick on and then we'll do that again but with the head rotation take off take that off and create now that we're done with this we'll just close this now we have an empty level here and we will throw in some metahumans before that so here are our two exported animation sequences with and without head rotation and here is an idle body animation that will combine it too so let's grab some metahumans we'll make a copy of this so one guy is going to be our finished product the other one is more like a stage in ground so first things first let's get a level sequence going throw both of these guys in take out control rigs for the second one we don't need the face either and let's let's start adding our body animation so that was our idle animation where is it there it is and then for on our face on our finished product we will put the one with no head rotation and what we can see here right now is the idle animation and with the facial movement but there's no head movement so what we're going to do there is on our second guy we'll we'll add the body animation under body animation what we want to do is find the one with head rotation now if you don't see it you're going to want to open up the settings and make sure allow and compatible skeletons is ticked on and you should be able to see it so now we'll put back the tutorial head rotation there and now we have to bake this one to the control rig and we'll B the other body animations to the control rig met a human control rig that is we will add an additive layer and and the second one so this is the now we need to get the head rotation data we scroll all the way down there are two nexts and one head and we'll copy R pitch in y and when we're copying them we want to hold control and shift one so one two three one two three 1 two three we'll copy that bring it all the way up and on that addtive layer we paste it in and that should be that let's just take a look we have idle animation we have facial motion capture and now we have the head and if we want we'll just add on the audio track as well this is a test hidey ho friends and and there you have it
