no no no no why do you got to ruin it hey there this is your matth with to much time hand D here with another video and today I want to talk about this mess oh my God they came out with a new trailer for a mega mine quote unquote Sequel and it looks terrible it looks like they just barfed up the original movie with none of the goodness out of it now before I knew that this trailer was coming out I heard that they were making a mega mine sequel show that was like oh my God they're making a something new of Mega mine I am so happy but then when I heard the premise I was more like wait hold up megga M as an influencer oh that look sounds terrible and I got so scared but then I gave myself hope because the original movie was about subverting expectations so when I really thought what an influencer technically is I was like hold up this could actually be really cool this could be a mega mine trying to show that he's a hero by recording himself since all the bad Deeds he's done in the in the past you know and also it could have been a good way of explaining how the people have been accepted Megamind even though he technically killed metroman they could have done something with that and that Megamind is trying to show his daily life to the people that he's a good guy and he's worth trusting to protect everyone right that would have made perfect sense at least to me as a mega mine fan and I was like you know what I got some hope back but then when this trailer came out I'm like nope all my excitement was gone first of all let's talk about the CGI on this what the hell is this this is terrible this is so cheaply made and you know what and and the thing is is I know a lot of people who do the CGI don't want it to be this cheap but because of the studio wanting it to be easily made and you know just takeing out there just just here have this it sucks and also it's not even made by Dreamworks in reality it's made for peacock you know that streaming service that I forgot existed well it's for that and the cheap style the plasticky type thing they have is is just it just makes everything look so gross oh and they know what they're doing they literally show the clips from the original film with the good CGI from all the way back then so I don't know what they're trying to accomplish trying to mix this type of look at our old things that was good so this is going to be good as well this is terrible and you know what's even worse you know besides the animation the actual CGI these aren't even the actual original voice actors this is not will frell this is not ginaa Fay as you know as the respected characters these are completely new actors playing them and the actor who plays Mega mine doesn't even sound right no no hate to the actor he sounds pretty cool just in general but when you mix it to this it sounds like Mega mine has something in his throat now I'm kind of a big deal you're all so lucky to have me as your hero adorable in a pushy sort of way here has a souvenir it's either a paper weight or a flash grenade so careful with that cuz this is still supposed to be the mega mine we knew when we were younger but why and then here more bad news they have new bad guys I guess in this this movie it doesn't even make any sense in the plot in the world of Mega mine because it was very heavily shown that the mega mine Universe only had metroman and mega mine as powerful beings you know the Superman Lex Luther D comedy except you know they're both aliens so why have these extra bad guys that wouldn't even make sense for the world and apparently they never knew that Mega mine became a good guy which is so stupid because Titan was there in the first movie he was made he was literally being a bad guy that Mega mine has had to show through TV that he was protecting them so wouldn't these extra bad guys already know that Mega mine is a hero now but no I guess the plot is going to be him pretending that he's a bad guy again to figure out a way to stop these bad guys and you know what's the other proof that these bad guys wouldn't even make sense to begin with well it's the fact that in the first movie he they would have actually been there because Meine has shown that he's been trying to get metroman for so many years but they would only show that it was those two against each other so it wouldn't make sense that apparently Mega mine had a group of bad guys that he would team up with you know kind of like the Legion of Doom or um the Injustice stuff like that right so it doesn't even make sense in that case and also let's talk about their designs why do they look like fortnite skins and not even good fortnite skins because some fortnite skins can look cool like a lot of the Marvel and DC ones but these somehow look worse you with something funny in a bad way that I find hilarious the fact on the target audience this looks very much like something for like in Coco melon you know that type of style that this is made for much little kids CU you know how I also know that they have a little kid insert you know for the kids to to see themselves in there which uh was never the point of the first movie and also the the thing the fact that they're trying to make this more of a kid thing doesn't even make sense for the for the actual Mega m movie to begin with you know why because Mega M was never just for kids yes it was a family movie but that doesn't make it it's mean it's just for kids especially when you get older and you think of the original movie I don't think it really ever was just for kids because it was supposed to subvert the ideas of superheroes Metro megga never wanted to be the bad guy but he was forced into it so he just decided to have style in his villainous nature because they kept pushing him because of how he looked and that he learned how to actually be an actual hero and that that's what he actually wanted he never wanted to actually hurt anyone he just wanted to have fun and be accepted metroman never wanted to be a superhero but because he had superpowers and you know he had the uh means to they expected them to be hero and this was before all superheroes were such a mainstream thing so it was so cool and then we got you know roxan Richie being not the the one that loves the super husky man of like metroman but when met Mega mine was you know hiding and showed his true colors as a person to Rox sand she liked him more which was really you know cool and then we got the actual bad guy of the film Titan or Hal Stewart he was the incel that uh already pushed that you know like the the nerdy geeky supposedly relatable type character but he was just a quote unquote nice guy and know the bad way of that like he expected good things to happen to him because he was doing good things which is not how that's supposed to work as a hero so when he couldn't have that he just decided to go full on actual villain this movie never really felt like an act the original movie never really felt like an actual Kids film when you think about it because it talks about existentialism that movie was supposed to subvert the expectation of what a superhero was but this trailer feels like the most generic thing I've ever seen and it again does not make sense for the demographic because I feel like the people who generally be excited for the movie for this movie would be much older people people probably my age who love the original because remember the original movie was not a cult classic immediately it took a few years for it to be you know welln and for people to actually appreciate it so seeing this like really is is terrible and appar and that's what I mean why I am not excited now for the TV show that's coming out cuz this is supposed to be the the movie that's supposed to lead into that TV show so now that just feels worse and feels really strange to me and it sucks being an actual Mega mine fan to do that um if you want
