hey guys I hope you all are doing great this is Malika and welcome back to another video so are you happy to look at the scenic view behind me I am very happy and excited to shoot this video in this amazing and a beautiful looking lake so this is basically Westwood Lake and this is also very near to the place where I live so before we get started with this video let me tell you if you you are watching this video for the first time then you should consider subscribing because I make regular Canada immigration related videos and I also take up cases which requires help if you are a returning subscriber if you're watching this video and if you love my videos so much then of course guys show some love and hit the like button so let's get started so guys we are going to be talking about how to get your medical stun so let me just get started from the scratch number one once you receive your ITA then only you're required to do this process along along with three to four other steps one step is medical which you need to do once you receive your ITA from the Canadian government there's a huge process when it comes to getting your medical stun amongst all those process number one is getting your medical test done which proves that you are fit to immigrate to Canada because Canada provides free Medicals to their PR holders and citizens if you're going there with a pre-existing disease or if you have some kind of disability they are not going to accept you so number one we'll be talking about how to get your Medicals done from your home country or if you are in Canada how to get your Medicals done in Canada so one of the major reasons of immigrating to Canada is getting a free medical which is covered by the government but there's a catch you just cannot immigrate with your pre-existing disease or you just cannot go and get yourself treated at thinking you'll get a free medical no that's not how it happens before you immigrate there's a medical exam that you have to pass and in this video I will be explaining you about how to give that medical exam for your post ITA process we'll be talking step by step about the medical exam who needs this medical test the type of test about the process the cost timeline and everything you want to know so if you're interested and if you have received ITA and you are yet to do your Medicals you should consider watching this video till the end so let's get started with our first point which is about the medical test so guys let's talk about how this medical test happens can you do it from the regular uh Medical Center you occasionally visit whenever you are sick or you can get done from any kind of Hospital well a big no because you cannot do it from any other Medical Center there are ircc authorized panel Physicians who are only authorized to do this kind of medical test for immigration purpose so you have to book an appointment and do the medical test with them only talking in detail about the medical test so if you have a pre-existing disease which includes any kind of diabetes or if you have gone any kind of surgery or if you have some kind of disease which require visiting the hospital for the treatment again and again then this thing may lead to inadmissibility so if you have any such thing then you have to declare all these details when you are going for medical test now let's talk about who needs this medical test so whoever is added in your profile be the primary applicant be the secondary applicant as well as kids or any other family member all of you needs the medical test now let's talk about the type of test so let's talk about primary and secondary applicant first so primary and secondary applicant so you both are adults so adults needs to do number one urine samples basic physical examination which includes eye test height weight then they'll be doing your blood test then your X-ray and other basic examination nothing beyond that if you have any doubt with respect to your health conditions so it's recommended that you get yourself checked first at your local hospital so that you know where you stand because the report you're not going to get it it will be directly sent to ircc talking about kids so if you have a kid who is between 0 to 4 year old so only basic physical examination is required for kids between 5 to 10 years physical examination as well as urine test is required for kids between 11 to 14 years physical examination urine test chest xray for TB is required yes TB is something that may lead to inadmissibility and people living in Asian countries they generally get TB positive first when they're doing all these tests you have to be very careful and you have to maintain a good health and being in good health condition and if your kid is more than 15 years old then the same test as applicable for primary and secondary applicant also for ladies if you are under your menstrual cycle so you cannot go and give your medical test during that time you'll have to go after that so book your appointment accordingly for those people who have tattoos because people love partying people love making tattoos so you'll have to go under HIV test too now let's talk about the process how to get this test done so like I said earlier so you cannot do this test from any other Medical Center there are panel Physicians assigned to do the test for you guys the list of panel Physicians who are assigned to do the test I have mentioned the link of the panel physicians in the description below according to your country you can check the list of panel Physicians and if you're from a different country apart from India or Canada you can just mention your country and check the list of panel Physicians and get your medical done from them so what are the steps of getting the medical test done first you have to check the list of panel Physicians number two you have to call them or book an appointment an appointment is necessary you cannot just walk in you also have to check the fees as well as their availability contact the nearest panel physician and check their availability and appointment and if they are taking your booking through their website consider booking appointment through the websites also guys very important thing when you're calling them mention it's for immigration purpose you have received ITA because it is important that you mention the purpose when you're booking an appointment and when you're booking an appointment you have to disclose the existing medical conditions you have if you have gone through any kind of surgery any kind of accidents if you have a medical condition so you have to carry all those reports to whenever you get an appointment and also ask about the cost structure because different panel Physicians charge differently so you need to be prepared how much you're spending now let's talk about what all things to carry so of course your ITA you have to carry you have to carry your passport without your passport it's not going to happen usually they take your picture on spot but if you want you can carry two to three passport size photo and all your previous medical reports if you have been admitted earlier anything you have to carry all that if you have spectacles carry your specs if you're wearing lenses carry all of them do not go to the gym 48 hours before because when we did the medical it was conveyed the same to us so I'm conveying the same to you even if they say or they do not say do not go to the gym 48 hours before you get your medical test done I don't know the reason why but they just said it so I'm just saying the same to you and also do not go partying do not drink or do not smoke because you need your Medicals cleared right you want everything proper and in a perfect shape just take care of that now let's talk about the cost and timeline so the cost for doing the entire test if you're doing in India it will cost you somewhere between 5,000 to 6,000 rups but if you're doing in Canada the physical and urine test will cost you approximately 200 CAD the chest x-ray will cost you 990 Cad and the path lab will cost you 89 CAD talking about the timeline so suppose you have booked the test for Monday so you have to go there just make sure you take the entire day off because sometimes there's a waiting sometimes there's no waiting so it takes usually approximately 4 to 5 hours to do the entire test I had an appointment for 11:30 I went there at 11:00 and I was free by 4:00 so it took me around that much time to complete the entire test so be prepared eat and drink well once your all the medical tests are done they will give you a medical information sheet which is called as a medical info sheet that's the very important sheet because you have to upload that sheet on ircc website and on the basis of that only your Medicals will be cleared and they can trace you on the basis of the medical info sheet number so you have to keep that sheet and you can even ask the panel physician the reception to email you the sheet if they're not emailing you you can just take a hard copy scan it and upload it on the ircc website why medical information sheet is important because this is a proof that your medical test is conducted once the panel physician they send your medical test to ircc they can trace it back and see where you stand when it comes to your medical and health condition talking about when they send it usually takes approximately 10 to 12 days for the panel physician to send the report to ircc so that's the usual time and guys Medicals is valid for one year only so for example you submitted your documents you your Medicals also is submitted so you received the copr after the 6 months you have to immigrate and you have to travel to Canada within one year time if you lose that time then you will have to redo your Medicals before you travel to Canada with your copr by any means if you fail the medical test so some agents genes do call you so that you can correct your medical test however everybody doesn't do that it's really you know important that you take care of your medical health condition and you go for test in a perfect good health so that was all about the medical test and how can you get your medical test done if you have received your ITA you can let me know in the comments section below if you need help with any kind of post ITA process because till getting your Ida was still easier but but the post ITA documentation is something you should focus on not a single here and there is
