(upbeat music) (cheering) - [Mecha Elmo] That Ol' Time Rock Rolls! - Oh, the Mecha Builders. We're saved! - What do you need to be saved from? - Big Old Boulder, it's rolling. - Rolling? So uh, what the plan? - [Mecha Abby] Run! - Oh yeah, good plan. (rock crashing) We okay. - It's really them, Grandma. - Do not worry about
big rock blocking door. Me can break it into tiny pieces with handy hammer hand. - [Family] No! - That's not just a big old rock. That rock is Big Old Boulder. - [Both] Big Old Boulder? - Big Old Boulder sits on the spot where Lawrence Pine Cone
made these woods into a park for everyone forever. - Great man, he sure loved that rock. - Me did not know rock was famous. - Every year, the head of the
museum poses with the boulder. - [Mecha Elmo] Wow, that's cool.
- [Mecha Cookie] Impressive. - I'm the head of the museum now, and this is where my photo will be. - I think we're gonna need
a better photo, Berta. - I have to get Big Old Boulder back up where it belongs and take a good photo because Mr Pine Cone
would've wanted it that way. - He really did love that rock. - Mecha Elmo wonders
if we can move the rock back to the top of the hill. - Would you try, please? - No problem. Whoa, oh, oh. Me got it. - Come on, Mechas, one, two, three, push! (Mechas grunting) - Hold on second. Are we pushing this rock all the way to the top of that hill? - It's not easy, but at least
we only have to do it once. - Oh, the door. There. Push! (Mechas grunting) - Thanks Mechas. You're almost there, just a little more. It's back where it belongs! - Yay, we did it! Problem solved. - Hey Orie, maybe the Mechas
can join me in my photo. - Yeah, everybody move a little that way. No, a little this way. - Good job, we did it. Yeah, scratch that, we didn't do it. - No! - Ready for our selfie? (dramatic music) - Huh? (rock crumbling) (rock crashing) - Why did Big Old Boulder stop? - Me don't know. Hm. - It's stable. See? It's not moving. - How did Big Old Boulder
change from unstable to stable? - Hey everybody, come look at this. That's what made it stable. Aw, poor car. - [All] Ooh. (Mechas grunting) - Hey, this shape reminds
me of something (gasps). (magical sounds) - The car is shaped like a wedge. - Let's test an idea. Could you let go of Big Old Boulder? (rock crashing) - Aha! (electronic whirring) A wedge is a tool that helps
hold an object in place. I bet a big wedge will
keep Big Old Boulder stable and stop it from rolling down the hill. Just like a door stop shaped like a wedge keeps the door from moving. I wonder, what if we build
something like a door stop to keep Big Old Boulder
from rolling down the hill? - Oh, oh, Mecha Elmo knows. Mecha Elmo can cut this
rock into a wedge shape with his cool laser cutter. (dramatic music) Oh um, not that. Hold on, it's here. Ta-da! Cool laser cutter. (laser whirring) Done. - Now that's what me call a wedge. Let's test it. (upbeat music) - Mecha Cookie Monster, use your hammer to push
the wedge into place. - Yeah, handy hammer hand. (hammer tapping) Yeah, let it go. (suspenseful music) - We did it! We solved the problem! We made a wedge to keep the boulder stable so it wouldn't roll down the hill. - Oh yeah, it's stable. - Yay, Mecha Builders! - Stable!
- Yeah! - Yay, they did it!
(Mechas cheering) - [Orie] This is perfect. (camera clicking) Got it. (Mechas cheering) - [Mecha Cookie] Nat in the Dark. - [All] Ranger Nat! - Look, the Mecha Builders. - Boy, are we glad to see you. We were hiking in the
woods with Ranger Nat, but when we got back, he
wasn't with us anymore. - And now we don't know where he is. - Aw, poor Ranger Nat. It's going to be dark soon and he'll be lost in the woods. - Let's split up so we can
search different places at the same time. - Great idea. You roll that way, you bounce that way. I'll search from above. Mechas, let's move. Ranger Nat! - Ranger Nat! - Ranger Nat! Ooh, look like footprints. Hey, come look over here. - Okay. Is it Ranger Nat? - No, but those may be
Ranger Nat's footprints. We should follow them. - [Mecha Elmo] But it's almost
too dark to see the trail. - We should go back to Jerry
and come up with a new plan. - It's so dark now. Are you still going to be
able to find Ranger Nat? - We will, Timmy. Don't you worry. - We've just gotta make
sure we don't get lost too. Jerry, do you have a
flashlight we could borrow? - We have three flashlights. Here you go. - Thanks Jerry. Check it out. A flashlight is a tool
that shines a beam of light to help us see in the dark. A light can also be used to send signals. That's a way to communicate or
tell someone about something. - Oh yeah, seeing in dark is
good, but oh, one problem. Me worried about being alone in dark. - If you need us, do exactly
what you're doing now. That'll be our signal to come over. - Like this? - That's right, flashing
lights mean come over. Ready Mechas? Let's find Ranger Nat. - I don't have my tent or my s'mores, but at least I have my lucky pine cone. (chuckling) Whoa! I'm gonna have to come
back when it's light out to find that hat, huh. (Mecha Elmo humming) - Whoa, it's Ranger Nat! Come over. - Saw your signal. Did you find something? - Yeah, down here. Mecha Elmo thinks he sees Ranger Nat. Follow Mecha Elmo. - Good job.
- Yay! - [Mecha Elmo] Ranger Nat, it's us. Huh, that's not Ranger Nat,
but that's Ranger Nat's hat. - We're on the right path,
can't be far behind him now. - Yeah!
- Oh yeah. (stomach growling) - Oh, I'm starting to feel hungry. Oh, it's a good thing I always keep one of my world famous adventure approved oatmeal raisin cookies
right here in my pocket, and now it's right here in my mouth. Hm, I love it. (sniffing) - Me smell cookies and
not just any cookies. Whoa! - Saw your signal. What did you find? - Ranger Nat's world's
famous adventure approved oatmeal raisin cookie crumbs. - Are you sure? I, oh, that was a silly question. You know your cookie crumbs. - Oh yeah, this Ranger
Nat's trail for sure. - Hm, it's too bad we don't
have a bigger flashlight so Ranger Nat can see us wherever he is. - Nice thinking, Mecha Elmo. You follow the crumbs,
I'll find a bigger light. - Any luck finding Ranger Nat? - Not yet. I need to find a great big light that can be seen from everywhere. - We don't have any lights
bigger than the flashlights. - Wait a minute, that truck has lights. Can I use your truck, Jerry? - Anything to help rescue Ranger Nat. - He has to be nearby. - [Both] There he is! - Woo-hoo, I'm saved! - Yeah, Ranger Nat! - Mecha Elmo, Mecha Cookie Monster. I am so happy to see you. What are you guys doing out here? - Yeah, we've been
looking all over for you and now we found you. - And we found this. - Hey, my hat, thanks. - And this too. - My lucky pine cone. This is my lucky day after all. Now, how do we find our
way to Jerry's truck? - Uh oh, how do we find
our way to Jerry's truck? - Will the truck lights
be seen from everywhere? - Of course they will if I go Mecha Giant! - Wow!
- Abby! - If I use the truck to make a signal like we did with the flashlights, everyone will see it and know where to go. - Oh. - What we do now? - Look, it's the cookie clock. That means that Mecha Abby has gone-- - [Both] Mecha Giant. - Mecha Giant? - Yeah, when cookie clock is gone, she shrinks to normal size. - Maybe we can see her from higher up. - [Mecha Cookie] Yeah. - [Ranger Nat] Yay. - [Mecha Elmo] All the way to the top. - Oh, there she is. - It's the flashing signal. - She's showing us how to get back. - What are we waiting for? Let's follow that light. - We almost there. Uh oh, time's up. - Yikes, this truck is getting heavy. Oh no! Come on, we're over here! Look, it's Mecha Elmo,
Mecha Cookie Monster and Ranger Nat! (cheering) - Hey everybody. - Welcome back, Ranger Nat. - I made it. - We did it, we solved the problem. (Mechas cheering) - [Mecha Abby] Ramp up, up, and away. - A telescope? (Ranger shouting) - Ranger Nat? - You think he needs help? - Mechas, let's move! - Yeah! - Wait, come back, come back, come back! (gasping) My telescope. - Quick, let's go Mecha Giant. - Go Mecha Big! - Go Mecha Bigger! - Go Mecha Giant! Whoa, me got telescope. (thuds) - Whoa. Ha ha, woo-hoo, hooray, you did it! - Of course. There no problem too big
for the Mecha Builders. Now, we just simply put
telescope right back here. (suit chiming) Me forgot rule. When cookie clock gone,
we shrink to normal size. - Oh, now how am I gonna get this telescope up to the
ranger tower in time? - In time for what? - Pine Cones' Comet. A comet is a giant space snowball made of ice and rock and this comet was discovered by the great Lawrence
Pine Cone, 100 years ago. - Oh, that long time and when you say comet is coming again? - Tonight. - That not long time. - I know. That's why I need to get the telescope up to the ranger tower so everyone can see the comet because it won't come again for-- - [All] 100 years! - Mechas, it looks like we
have a problem to solve. Okay, we need to get this telescope from down here to up there. - Maybe it could go up really quickly. - Yeah, we could build a big balloon. - Or a giant slingshot. - Or a jet plane. Check it out. Jets! Yes, I could use my jets
to lift the telescope up to the tower. - Great thinking, Mecha Abby. - Yay! - Let's try! (grunting) - Now, don't you worry, Ranger Nat. We'll have telescope up to
tower before you can say-- - Uh-oh. - Oh, well me was going to say, "Comet," but me guess, "Uh-oh" work too. Yeah, that fine. - No, uh-oh! (grunting) - "Uh-oh" is right. The telescope is supposed
be going up, Mecha Abby, up! - I'm trying, but it's too heavy. (Abby yelps) (gasping) (wheels squeaking) - Phew. - Phew. (all gasping) - Quick, stop that telescope! - Mecha Elmo will get it. Roll me there. Yeah! - [Mecha Cookie] Me coming! - Ah, nothing beats the silence of nature. - [Mecha Cookie] Stop. - [Mecha Elmo] Stop telescope! - [Mecha Abby] Watch out! - Oh no. Hurry, paint faster. (dramatic music) - Mecha Elmo has a tool for this. Not that. Almost. Ta-da! A grappling hook. (dramatic music) (paint squishes) - [All] Phew. - Thanks, Mecha Builders. You saved my painting. - It's all part of being a Mecha. - Oh, that was close. - And fun. Hello. - [Mecha Abby] How'd you get way up there? - Like this. Wee! - This no time for games, Mecha Elmo. We need to get telescope
from down here to up there. - Hmm, down here to up there. Mecha Cookie, Mecha Elmo, that's it. We can use the fallen tree like a ramp to push the telescope from
down here to up there. - Hey, that just might work. You know I use a ramp to get things from down on
the ground up into my truck. - Let's test it. - Up, up and away. (upbeat music) - [Mechas] We did it. - [Mecha Abby] We solved the problem. We used ramps so we
could push the telescope to the top of the cliff. - [Mechas] Woohoo. Oh wow. - You saved the day, Mecha Builders. (Mechas cheer) - [Mecha Cookie] A bit of a stretch. - It's the Mecha Builders. We have a problem. Can you help us look for a sphere? - Sphere? Looking for a sphere. - Uh, see it yet? - That depends. What's a sphere? - Sphere is round like a ball. It has no edges or corners. - And we have a special really
big one but it's missing. - Hmm. Aha! Could it be in this big box
with a picture of a ball on it? - That's the sphere. You found it. - Woo-hoo, we did it! - We did it. - We solved the problem - Already? Wow, today's problem
easier to solve than usual. - Oh, does it mean you have
time to play catch with us? (toy squeaks) - Sure, we're all done here, right Billie? - Actually, we still need
you to put the sphere on top of the skyscraper. - All the way... - [Mechas] Up there? - [Mecha Elmo] That's really high. - Yeah, and to celebrate
the building being finished, everyone's coming to
watch us cut the ribbon. So we need you to work fast. - Putting a big ball on
top of a big building. Oh, guess today's problem
bigger than we thought. - We've gotta hurry and
get that ball up there. But how? - [Izzy] Catch Timmy. - [Timmy] Got it, woo-hoo. - That's it. Hey Timmy, can I borrow your toy? - The Mechas want to use
our toy to save the day? Catch! - Timmy's stuffy toy has two long arms that stretch farther and
farther when I pull them. Then when I let it go,
it flings into the air. - Oh. - Timmy, Izzy, go long. - Okay, got it. - Wow. - Hmm, fun and stretchy. - Check it out. When you pull on something stretchy, it fills with energy that's
just waiting to come out. If we can find something
stretchy to hold the ball, pull it all the way back till
we can't stretch it anymore. When we let it go, all that energy will
fling the ball super far. - But we'll need something really big and really stretchy to fling
this ball on the way up there. - [Mechas] Hmm. - Ah, well me don't see anything except that giant stretchy
bungee thing over there. Wait a minute. Hey. - Hey. - Hey. - We can use this big
stretchy bungee cord. - It's just might work, but I'm not sure we're big
enough to stretch it very far. - Then it's time to go Mecha Giant. - Go Mecha Big. - Go Mecha Bigger. - Go Mecha Giant. Okay, remember the rule, when cookie clock's gone, we shrink to normal size. - Got it. Mechas, prepare for launch. - Stand clear, everybody. - Pardon me, sir, hi, yeah,
this ball's super heavy, even for Mecha Giant. Oh, oh boy. Okay, Mechas, better get stretching. - Is this far enough? - Only one way to find out. - Let's test it. There it goes. - [Mecha Cookie] Uh oh. - Stretchy arms. (cheering) (thuds) We gotta hurry. We haven't got much time left. - Mecha Cookie Monster,
you've gotta aim it higher, like this. - Yeah, good thinking. Okay, this time we aim bungee higher. Ah, can you two go any higher? - [Both] Tippy toes? - Good effort, but ah, me
no think it's high enough. - Wait, I can use my
stretchy arms to go higher. - Yeah and Mecha Elmo
will help aim the ball. Higher. - Hurry. - A little higher. Higher. That's it. - Let it fly, Cookie. (Mecha Cookie grunts) - [Aliens] Yep, yep, yep, yep, ooh. (crowd gasps) (Mechas gasp) (Mechas cheer) - We did it, we solved the problem. We stretched a big bungee cord and launched the ball to
the top of the building.
