like to do business with I mean when you're the customer a girl will helps you find a radio you're looking for and can't find and enjoy doing it a guy who helps you pick out the right distributor for your old car and enjoy doing it I see you've both been doing a little thinking why did they enjoy it their work is no snap either what's the secret well simple if it may sound secret is courtesy courtesy oh come on you were expecting another Einstein theory huh huh courtesy and the big thing about courtesy is more contagious than the flu so I smile that it you're getting there so I smile how is that going to make my job any easier I said courtesy was contagious I didn't mean it just the other guy catches it you catch it too from yourself I don't get it look a lot of guys think you got to act the way you feel you feel lousy to look lousy that makes everybody feel our things big deal you don't feel like smiling so don't smile and nobody smiled I'll tell you something a smart guy who discovered it works just the other way around start showing someone else a little consideration right away you'll feel better feel like doing a better job you know I really believe that this girl who waited on me and told me a radio for my son's room she enjoyed her job it was obvious sure if she enjoyed it so what's your job serving people right yeah you do it well have a great feeling of satisfaction and don't think there's anything wrong with serving people big question is how do you do it do it well and you'll feel like it's somebody I mean do it with courtesy big part of it gotta get going want to give it a try you bet we do okay but be careful careful why it's contagious hi there man give me two hamburgers I'm in a hurry make you happy but then you caught it and you found your job is a pretty important one isn't it a lot of people to handle and keep happy which keeps you happy and courtesy is what makes it all run smoothly laughter fire courtesy that begins working for you the minute you greet the customer you've got the idea I smile all the time whenever there are customers around and even when they're not smiles are contagious too after a while you find that it's Totally cheesy...and I am sure that lad in the car shop is double jobbing it in McDonalds.. but its actually a really smart and effective way of conveying the message about customer service. Adding the human side to story is good and I just love how at the end they squeeze in all this super manipulative 'smile you LOVE your job' stuff!!
