Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Hi everyone. I wanted to share my latest Maya tutorial. It's aimed at absolute beginners so probably too basic for the majority of you guys but maybe you know someone who is just starting out that might find it useful?
Also, if you do check it out and this I have missed something important, please let me know and I'll make sure to cover it next time :)
Enjoy!
BOOKMARKED FOR LATER! I've been running through LInkedInLearning classes I get through my schools free account and boy are they slow moving. This looks like a solid chance to try a different perspective as I notice every class seems to have a different style and approach to modeling, etc. Cheers!
Omg Iโve been following this since the beginning! Thank you for this resource I just started a 3D Foundations class and this has made my course so much easier!
I'm pretty close to an absolute beginner and love your tutorials. I'm looking forward to tapping into this one.
You're welcome dude. I'm glad I could help you with your course. Enjoy the rest of the tutorial :)
Man, where were people like you when i started out learning Maya?
2009 was a different time.
I'm helping a teen that "wants to learn 3D rendering" by trying to find an online class/tutorial/video series that would be good for him. Whatever we set him up with, we're going to treat it like school where he has a set time every week that he focuses on it (think like a class). You think this would be good for a 15 y.o. who's pretty new to 3D programs?
Our immediate goal is for him to be successful, meaning that he can follow along and not be completely overwhelmed so he wants to give up. He did do something 3D related in school last year, but he didn't mention what program (and I don't know if he even knows).
