welcome to Free CAD new session in this session we will learn how we can apply material to free Cat part how we can apply textures and how we can render the free Cat part in a cat race so to apply the material click on the body click on the appearance and then select the material which you want to apply for example I wanted to apply copper so I have selected copper so you can see that material has been applied now we will install a micro known as a FC info which you can install by going to the tool and then add-on manager so search here FC info install it I have already installed it so once you install the micros select on the body click on the macro and select this FC info and say execute once you run the macro select on the body then you will get all the informations related to this part and from here in the material sections I will select the copper copper so that I can get the weight of my part and other details so this is how to apply the material and see its info using the micro and now we will see how we can apply the textures to our part so for this I will change my appearance to default and now I will search over the Internet about the texture which I wanted to apply like copper Branch anything so I have already searched image for the bronze so for this I will select on my body I will click on The View and click on this texture mapping and from here I will give the path of my image file so here is a bronze texture this is the bronze texture I will apply this bronze texture so I will select this and I will say apply so you can see that texture has been applied to my part so this texture is just for weaving purpose once you come out of this then texture will be get removed now we will see how we can render our free Cat part in cadres so for this we required some base surface I have inserted a cube here its Dimension is a 250 by 250 by 10 so now to render it first we have to export it has a step file go to the file and click on the export I have already exported as a step file here now we will move to the next step how we can install the cadres to install the cadres visit to open Cascade and click here and go to the cadres if you scroll down you will find a download link cadres 1.0 you can download it with a single click by creating an account so I have already created account so cadres is downloading so after download of the cadres extract this zip file and inside of zip file you will see here a cadres application double click on it so that calories will be open here now we will open our step file go to the file and then click on import keeps sitting as default and click on import our sheet metal part and the base plate has been inserted here but here we see as a single body so we will right click here and click on explode so it will be get separated our base plate and Sheet Metal part so for the base plate we will change our color so we will click on this Tab and we will give it a white color and now we will click on our sheet metal part and go to the metal even bronze texture so I will give it is a branch so that branch will be applied here and wait for a minute or depends upon your processing so here you can see that it has been perfectly rendered I can change any material from bronze to something like Steel so you can see that steel has been applied to my sheet metal part so this is how you can render the free Cat part in a cat race so this is all about these sessions how to apply material texture and render free Cat part in a card race thank you for watching
