MasterChef Contestants Who Were FREAKS..

if you read the title then you know that you're in for a crazy ride with a bunch of Master Chef contestants who are absolute freaks MC doesn't have nearly as many as HK but for what they lack in quantity they more than make up for in quality just like this contestant here who fumbled at the worst possible time now talking about the challenge the home Cooks had to make pasta from scratch something that's far harder than it sounds on paper all going to need to make one of those incredible fresh pastas from scratch but Gabriel really went all out and you could see his dedication shining through what he presented despite being a complete novice at this Gabriel was confident and for once it wasn't in a cocky way when it came to the preparation everything seemed to be going well but what happened when that dish hit the plate shattered Gabriel's confidence the judges unfortunately were far from impressed with what he managed to put together this is not what it's supposed to look like when it was Ramsay's turn to provide feedback he went so far as to compare it mortal lasagna than the canalone it was trying to be as for the taste well the filling lacked flavor the sauce was overly sweet all in all the entire dish was a flop to end all flops no shocker that Gabriel got the boot even in spite of how well he'd been doing overall all but Gabriel believed in himself and the judges also saw his potential all he needed was a bit of polishing and guess who pitched in to help him out Ramsay and derone the two judges were so impressed by his dedication that they wanted to help him Advance his career I am personally going to send you to conry school now that was totally unexpected for sure ramsy wasn't willing to let such talent slip away and he knew exactly how to give Gabriel a boost I mean I can only imagine how overwhelming it must have been for him thank you likewise aone wasn't too far behind as well he extended an offer for Gabriel to join his New Orleans restaurant surely with this opportunity Gabriel had a genuine shot at a future in The Culinary world and it wasn't solely because of his exceptional cooking skills but also because of his genuinely nice personality many viewers chimed in to encourage Gabriel after his elimination some said he was a good Contender for his age and didn't really do anything bad until this canalone they also luded Ramsay and Sanchez for offering him a chance to grow in The Culinary world and that just went to show how much potential he really had well Gabriel is one of those few contestants who left Master Chef smiling despite being eliminated H let me me just brush that mediocre season 12 performance of his under the rug here real quick anyway not everyone gets to share in the same luck Gabriel had I'm talking about hey wouldn't you know it season 12 it's almost like I planned it which pitted veteran and Junior contestants against each other this time their mission was no piece of cake the contestants had to cater to the appetites of the US Coast Guard imagine the pressure each team had to whip up a hearty meal for over a hundred people and the fact that they were hungry service people only made it more daunting The Blue Team featured seasoned Cooks from seasons 1 through 7 going head-to-head with the red team composed of the relatively less 10e Cooks from Seasons 8 through 11 Alejandro took charge of the red team while Christian did the same for The Blue Team the stakes were Skyhigh and the end was certain as it usually is someone from the losing team was destined for elimin so the red team launched with Stakes but hold on turns out Ramsay caught wind that they were dishing out cold cut first bloody table the Tray's cold the stak's cold not exactly the sizzling start they had in mind predictably Ramsay wasn't thrilled he ordered them to crank up the heat and in a crazy turn of events shifted the Coast Guard over to the blue team so they'd actually get fed they'd get fed over at the blue team right right oh boy it we need Mash we have no Mash oh my God the mash potatoes were apparently still cooking the only thing they were actually producing was Ramsay's anger but despite the dumpster fire of a start both teams had the initial feedback from the diners was surprisingly positive for both the teams but when Ramsey was faced with yet another raw steak being served at the Coast Guard he drove home exact how unacceptable it was in no uncertain terms come on give me a plate but alandro was unfazed by Ramsay's unique spin on surf and turf he scooped up some Fallen staks tossed them back onto the grill and voila he was good to go they going to get but the real shocker he defended it claiming what he did killed bacteria and while he may have technically been right it was the principle of the matter for Ramsay and it was also on principle that Ramsay did this but Captain you better have a meeting right now and S well here's hoping that the new boss will do a bit better than the old boss many viewers couldn't believe that Alejandro of all people was called back for another season and on top of it he made it to the top four which is even crazier and yeah I'm totally with the peanut gallery on this one whether or not Ramsay actually wanted him on that's not for me to say but thank God he didn't end up winning either of his Seasons I'll tell you that much on to the next I never expected that this next home cook was even capable of putting out bad food in season 4 episode 4 the top 19 contenders were waiting for the other shoe to drop after the Mystery Box challenge was over [Music] they were so curious to find out more about the dish for the elimination challenge but before that could happen the mystery box winner Natasha earned the privilege of being the first to explore the Master Chef Pantry gets the chance to be in control of everybody else's Destiny meanwhile there was a plot twist cooking up Natasha not only got the pantry power but also became the architect of the elimination test selecting the dish or style that would challenge each and every contestant their Fates were in her hands however the theme of The Challenge itself was a secret weapon wielded by the judges and the judges alone we gave you the most basic of ingredients well Joe brought a taste of European flare with Lustine Graham unveiled any Chef's dream sans's vegetarian that's always on the menu at the world's finest restaurant a firstcut ve chop shop a staple in the world's finest restaurants and then there was Ramsay who had managed to get his hands on the rare stil and blue cheese a delicacy only produced by five Farms worldwide and believe me it would be the end of any Chef's career if they ruined an ingredient that prestigious however since she had the advantage there was one thing Natasha didn't have to worry about would be able to cook something amazing with one of these ingred not all of them no yeah if I were in her shoes I'd be breathing a huge sigh of relief right there I don't think I'd be able to live with myself if I screwed up any of those ingredients still though she had the power to orchestrate the way the competition was going to go and guess who she gave the most difficult dish to is she competition yep I kind of saw that coming considering they didn't exactly have much of a friendship I mean that's one way to punish Chrissy and Natasha was unforgiving about it as for the other Cooks Natasha went for the langoustine the decision definitely made Chrissy's blood boil but it was time for her to show her rival what she was capable of but the twist was far from Over the judges then let Natasha pull her third move now get to choose one more person Natasha held the key to save anyone contestant and she decided to save sa Savannah and not out of love only because she'd be easier to beat later on down the line Cold anyway let's now cut to the challenge where Sasha stole the spotlight from Chrissy and Natasha Ramsey took one look at Sasha's dish and hold on I'm getting ahead of myself here what exactly did Sasha present Lustine on top of cheese grits something Ramsay was Finding difficult to understand even from a conceptual basis pooped on the plate what is that that is the langenstein on top now it' be one thing if Sasha ruined a whole lot of langoustine but where in the hell was it after a bit of detective work Ramsay finally spotted it and spoiler alert Sasha might have bitten off more than she could chew literally on top of the cheese grits Ramsay delivered the final verdict It's a combination is just all wrong not exactly a standing ovation huh now it was time for Joe's verdict but before he even tried the dish he hit Sasha with probably the most reasonable question he's ever asked on the show with langin and you give me this Sasha was caught off guard but tried to keep her cool this is probably worth 55 cents yeah even I could tell that this wasn't exactly the most opportune moment for a joke and Joe wasn't amused not that he'd be amused even when the stakes were as low as possible thanks for nothing he skipped the tasting all together and I'm sure I don't need to tell you where it ended up but I will anyway it took a one-way trip to the trash can and well so did her Master Chef Journey yeah I don't think there was any coming back from that nightmare of a dish but while there was so much more Sasha could have done with her concept what this next contestant brought to the table was totally unexpected you single-handedly will take out anybody thank you Chef now this one is too good to miss so make sure to watch till the end as a primer this little story features the Master Chef season 3 winner the incredibly talented visually impaired Chef Christine Haw at her low point on the show but it ended up being so incredibly beautiful So Christine made a relatively rare appearance in a pressure test I'm feeling disappointed into to think that I have to go into a pressure test and guess what was on the menu apple pie something that a visually impaired Chef like Christine was going to have a pretty tough time nailing visually I'm at a disadvantage but I know I need to still put that pie together it was heartbreaking to see her fearing elimination even knowing what we we know now about where her journey went despite her lack of confidence Christine didn't let it hold her back now here's the kicker all contestants had to whip up the same thing with the same ingredients the only game Cher was that they needed to figure out a way to add something special to stand out from the pack and they need to do it in the 1 hour and 15 minutes they had on the clock but as time passed the pressure only Rose and rows Cindy did I cut myself am I bleed medic it's no wonder Christine became a nervous rre the atmosphere was thick with stress the judges weren't oblivious either they knew that Christine would face a unique challenge once those pies hit the oven it wasn't like she was going to be able to feel smell or taste her way into knowing whether the bottom crust was set or if the top was golden brown enough and that was exactly what was running through Christine's mind I'm going to have to rely on Cindy to tell me the color of the crust and then just try to time it but Christine despite all the challenges she faced including a cut to the finger even was literally giving it her all now here comes the judge's dilemma as they harbored doubts but still wished the best for her if those apples are delicious then that's half the battle with a mere 40 minutes left on the clock it was time for the pies to hit the oven but the worst thing happened to Christine at the worst possible moment I broke there's no way I just don't have any more flour with her dough in pieces Christine was in a pretty tight spot since she had run out of flow to make more she had to turn to another contestant for a Lifeline in the end she somehow scrambled to work on the pie all over again from scratch as time was running out doubts started creeping in about whether she could pull it offy do you have extra flower here you go thank you but this is where Christine's resilience started to shine through again even while facing more and more intense challenges coming her way she didn't throw in the towel instead she dug deep and whipped up a new pie in record time but she wasn't going to be able to feel or taste it she was literally taking a blind leap of faith here and when time ran out Christine found herself in the spotlight for the final judgment first of all I've never seen you that flustered and then with barely 18 minutes to go you still were not in the oven despite her visual impairment her apple Pie looked nothing short of amazing not that she knew that though ramsy stepped in to boost her morale urging her to stop doubting herself it's got a nice crisp dark brown color on the edge now the Moment of Truth arrived and it was time to taste the pie it's delicious so well done okay congratulations now the crazy part was that Christine didn't just impress she blew everyone away like listen to how the crust sounds can you hear that on top yes sure what does that sound like to you it sounds good and crusty delicious right in the ends Ramsay was moved more by the flavors of the dish than Christine's tears and she undoubtedly deserved every bit of appreciation she got during a Reddit AMA where Christine was open to questions from her fans one of them asked what was running through her mind when she was making that pie how did she know it was done well in reply Christine mentioned that the whole time during the cook she was laughing saying to herself that her pie was a cluster Fox Christine thought she was going home that day and also thought of giving up early she continued by saying that she had no idea that the pie was done she shoved it in the oven 18 minutes before time was up and just cranked it up to 450° fhe or something and then she pulled it out seconds before ramsy counted down well call it luck or divine intervention but a great apple pie is still a great apple pie at the end of the day but this next incident was a rare moment on Master Chef two rival contestants ended up growing changing and bettering themselves together so I'm talking about season five when contestants got the scoop that the upcoming Team Challenge involved working in pairs when asked about his least preferred teammate Leslie wasted no time throwing aon's name into the ring I'll give you three guesses who he ended up with well this is where things started to get interesting Courtney the reigning champ and Puppet Master of the pairings held the power to pick the teams much to Iron's dismay she found herself paired with Leslie the last person she wanted to work with too well at least they agreed on something back in the pantry Leslie agreed to go along with whatever Iran wanted and cooperation was the last thing she expected from her teammate but their story didn't start and end there fast forward to the pressure test in episode 12 and the contestants were faced with a prawn Triple Threat challenge they had to serve them cevich tempura and Butterfly but here's the kicker only one contestant would make it out alive iron found herself in a tight spot especially considering the prawn she needed to handle were live surprisingly Leslie took a humble turn as the pressure test unfolded I'm just as nervous as the people behind me they're just as good I don't underestimate them I just got to beat them now as the pr cranked up Aon started to crumble I'm really stressed right now you can do this tears were just about ready to start flowing as the fate of these contestants hung in the balance now this is when Ramsay decided to step in he tried to pepperon up reminding her of her accomplishments and urging her to push through the pressure test I think we've done this competition so far yeah okay I'm r on that pal like you have done so far when the tasting came around Leslie's dishes managed to impress the judges but but Iran's dishes if the Preamble I gave them was any indication didn't Faire nearly as well too much liquid too almost pickled because of the vinegar okay in the end the final judgment came down to Leslie and donon two contestants who were at each other's throats not too long ago but somehow managed to form an unexpected Bond the further they got into the competition together anyway the verdict was inevitably going to send one of them home separating the two for the the rest of the season no doubt everyone was on the edge of their seats because I sure was this is a tale of uh eldest versus our youngers now you might need to go ahead and grab some tissues before watching the rest of this video Leslie's heartfelt words definitely aren't for the faint of heart I did not expect to grow the way I have been growing and to work out my differences with this young ladyes sadly iron had to bid AO to Leslie and the rest of the gang yeah there was no doubt he was going to be the one walking out of that decision to cook another day but Aon didn't leave without sharing a few heartfelt words of her own who's going to win Master Chef Leslie love you girl wow Iran graciously acknowledged Leslie's potential and even predicted he was going to be the one to take home the title even in hindsight knowing he was unfortunately the runner up to the runner up third place for those of you keeping score at home it still really warms my heart to hear her say that keep people have said that Iran should have stayed over Leslie and that she was a real front runner in spite of her relatively younger age compared to everyone else that season what this next contestant did was downright nasty I could practically feel the disappointment radiating off of him and well he managed to convey his disapproval without even uttering a single word he literally hung his head in dismay he couldn't even look David in the eye yeah that's when you know you screwed up after after dishing out some Monumental dishes in the past how could David fall so low but finally Ramsay found his words David you've had some pretty Monumental dishes and you just fell 1,000 foot with nothing underneath it great shame ouch that must have stung real bad Ramsay really knows how to make someone feel like they made the worst mistake of their life and this one just might be David's last on the show you could practic Al see David's face fall as he witnessed the catastrophe that he was responsible for and all he could say in his defense was this you know sometimes planes crash and that's what happens well at least he acknowledged that he messed up unlike Whitney who had no idea why the judges were so upset but I hope you're ready for this next one from season 4 when lynchi stepped up to the play wow I mean wow I I mean how many times have you seen Ramsay react like that it looks like Lynn might have just whipped up the best dish of his life after all well kudos to him and check it out chef Graham couldn't hold himself back from calling it incredible he had to actually take his glasses off to appreciate Lynn's work of art with his own eyes damn it looks like it was Lynn's lucky day but wait did you catch Lynn's expression why does it look like he's saying okay I messed up but seriously do we need to roll out that kind of sarcasm well I think he had no idea what it really feels like to be humiliated until Joe decided to take Center Stage you drive over it what is it ah Joe not going to lie even in the most serious situations he always knows what to say whether you or I would want to hear it here I was sweating bullets wondering if Lynn's dish would find a new home in the trash but before getting into that Joe was looking for some clarity he couldn't even understand what he was looking at but before Lynn could explain his dish Joe made sure to drop a quick reminder this was the elimination round and screwing up here would cost him the game what followed next was Ramsay's critique and this is what he had to say it looks like you slipped in C baked it he then went on to say that it tasted like an insulator with strawberries or a banana in there and then out of nowhere he dropped another bomb you are close to getting kicked out of this competition yikes How Could You Lynn Master Chef is all about putting your best foot forward and it looks like you screwed up big time I have no idea how Ramsay was being as patient as he was but he did make it a point to tell him this that is the worst dish I have seen on a plate in four years of Master Chef yeah he called it the worst dish he'd ever tasted on the show well the worst he's tasted did so far you got like nine more seasons to get through buddy but anyway after that remark how can you expect Joe to sit back and do nothing about it he took the opportunity to give Lynn another piece of his mind oh Lynn unbelievable they raise you up so high and then and well it was time for Joe to pull out his signature move looks like Lynn's food eventually did didn't make it into the trash it's back among its people and what's more Joe then presented the empty plate to Lynn so he could carry it home as a momento get the hints it was time for Lynn to pack his bags most viewers couldn't stomach Lynn's abrupt end to his Master Chef Journey well of course there were more contestants who were worse than him but Ramsay's feedback was deadly serious it was the worst dish in the history of the show and there's no place for anyone to remain in the competition after horrifying feedback like that but in the 14th episode of season 5 chef Graham was backing Christian like never before but soon the situation took a turn for the worse what happened is despite all that support the final result fell far short of expectations as they inspected Christian's dish they uncovered something that raised a ton of eyebrows trust me this was truly shocking I burnt one of my past how could that have happened like after all the time and effort that's what you came up with come on as the tension thickened they kept digging into it with their words not their Forks they become like rubber balls they were pretty damn disappointed if you ask me I mean no sauce no garnish look at that you you guys are better than that It's just sad turns out Christian's dish lacked the most important component the sauce I mean the sauce is boss for a reason and then it was time for another twist the judges seized the opportunity to teach him a vital lesson they went into the nuances of steaming revealing its hidden complexities well it seems simple Doing It Wrong can turn food rubbery in seconds but the big moment finally came when Ramsay stepped in who seasoned the Cabbage I did you better believe this guy never holds back with his criticism least of all here season disgusting Ramsey's disappointment was definitely valid and just to Twist the knife there wasn't a speck of salt to speak of anywhere in the dish it's always the seasoning Big Willie pitched in to take the blame however that didn't stop Ramsay from calling the dish disgusting and rightfully so ramsy questioned the seriousness and commitment of Willi and Christian to the competition but what he said next was what really got me take a look you both don't deserve to be in this competition can you believe that he actually suggested that none of them deserve to be on the show solely based on this one dish but yeah that was the end for Big Willie at the very least your journey Ends Tonight in the MF kitchen please say good night to Christian but here comes another contestant whose dish was even worse than the one that got Willie eliminated slim who took part in season 1 had put a lot at stake just to come on the show she had given up on her graduation from lyola and put all her eggs in the Master Chef basket the time came for her to present her dish and things didn't exactly go as planned so when Ramsey inspected Slim's dish you won't believe what happened them on a stick you got to at least cut the fat off how could she not trim the fat that's like the most basic step but that wasn't close to being all there's a lot of ginger in the sauce right yes sir Ramsay saw the truckload of Ginger and the sauce from miles away and boy did he let her know about it but he still wasn't done if we were on a date and you cook that dish for me I'd go to the bathroom and you'd never see me again yeah I bet he would and then the moment we've all been waiting for or dreading Joe came on the scene and calling him unhappy would be the understatement of the century this is like a buffet gone bad go back to your station I'm not tasting this crap you guys have at this point in the competition you need to be listening to what we're telling you about what we're producing because this is ridiculous that was is brutal to see all your efforts just tossed into the trash like it's nothing heartbreaking but hey you know how much Joe loves doing that but I haven't even gotten to what Joe had to say yet a buffet gone bad I'm not tasting this crap this is ridiculous can you imagine the embarrassment but that's not all since he dialed it up to 11 by talking about how Sim can't be wasting their time like this and trust me the entire room was dead quiet with the thickest tension you'll ever see feel or hear or well not here the episode left everybody hanging pondering the aftermath of all this and how it would affect slim thing is she was still working on making her Mark with the judges and the viewers which I don't think was going quite well for her but the next one on my list gives her a run for her money for sure and season 9 episode 11 Mark's arrogance took Center Stage I've made it better over this way it's faster a double boiler takes too long you have plenty of time do you want to make it right or do you want I got to make it right this way this is the way my father taught me and I'll continue to do it forever astronomical doesn't even describe the half of it with how he dismissed Aaron's advice on making Bern nay sauce correctly wrong move buddy and then he went on to defend his way insisting it was faster and better even Joe's attempt to explain the import of tried and true technique fell on deaf ears fast forward to the time when Ramsay finally intervened and Ramsay you see had a lot to say making a Bern sauce is difficult and the reason why we put over a double boiler is we cook the eggs into a Savon which then takes on the clarified butter what he said next really drove his point home he pointed out Mark's undercooked egg yolks and made it clear how disappointed he was the pressure in the room had skyrocketed and then it's going to be just very simplement buttercream for the topic make it happen thank you as the pressure test kicked in Mark's attitude proved to be a persistant thorn in his own side he tossed in strawberries at the last minute turning things into a watery disaster that's like chemistry 101 come On's go seconds I don't have all my cupcakes in the box but wait there's more struggling to manage time Mark fumbled and failed to get all the cupcakes into the bo fo and boy was Ramsey not pleased your boy to make matters worse he thought laughing it off was going to fix it but even with all that tension and Ramsay's disappointment and criticism Mark stood his ground arguing that his opinions were being mistaken for arrogance Ramsay however didn't back down he emphasized that Mark was completely in the wrong yeah Mark's departure was inevitable however I think season 4 episode 8 has got even this moment beat the red team was caught serving raw chicken who is responsible you ask it was none other than Luca but hark doth that be the sound of Ramsay's fury on the horizon it is he was Furious and those raw Burgers weren't going anywhere near the tables Joe wasn't too pleased either right it's raw let me go show the kitchen let me come back Chef these Burgers oh no are completely raw again but the red team was back again with raw Burgers it looks like Luca had some explaining to do Kathy wasn't happy either he knew what he was doing so then if you know what you're doing the burgers should be medium rare and you should know how to cook each she believed he had it under control but those medium rare mishap s were piling up but admidst the chaos she got her game face on with her priorities straight she left the burger drama behind and put her eyes on the prize meanwhile Ramsey told the contestants to take their aprons off he also told them to get ready to whip up the best 12 Burgers of their lives and by the way who were these VIPs welome sir it's all the other contestants nice to see you guys the former contestants just talk about a plot twist but Luca had a strategy up his sleeve but would he be able to execute it and snag the win well soon enough the customers were chowing down and the VIPs were casting their votes but guess what yeah The Blue Team snatched the win even without serving all their burgers that alone should tell you how bad it was for Luca and friends on the red team but you have to see what happened in this next Mystery Box challenge from season 2 to believe it there was this one dish that went completely off track lacking meats or protein of any kind and to top it off it was just weird as hell and he guesses whose dish it was yep it was Christian's brainchild and let me tell you his expression was worth a thousand words the perfect combination of both shock and disbelief when Joe dropped the bomb that the judges were disappointed with the subpar performance Christian pushed back with a shocking statement far we were very disappointed I think you're wrong I don't think my dish is the worst dish here but wait there's more as's dish look pretty yep that's right Christian went on to diss Ashley's dish man don't bring her into this but things further heated up when Joe stepped in and took charge of the situation can you imagine the tension in the air but that's when Ramsay delivered a Zinger at exactly the right moment we're trying to give you constructive criticism if you're a man you take it on the chin ooh that's got of smart you see it's not just about attitude it's about Talent Ramsey made it clear that while Christian might be a skilled cook his attitude wasn't measuring off well it's high time contestants understand that the judges expect them to serve food not attitude but this next episode from season 5 took a dramatic turn and trust me Ramsey's reaction to Dan and Cutter's dish is second to none as Ramsey set his eyes on the plate his response was immediate strong and obvious what in the is that I am so embarrassed he was visibly taken a back and let me tell you you could almost see him fuming like if I didn't know any better I'd swear smoke was coming out of his ears they had access to the usual amazing Pantry that rivaled even the best restaurants and yet this reality was far from that impressive stock Ramsay's embarrassment was evident and he demanded answers and the answers he got amounted to nothing but finger pointing he just starts grabbing and this is what you get ran out of time in the pantry then I have nothing to work with we went in there I gave my idea he gave his idea we grabbed the proteins and we started from there cutter blamed Dan but there was more going on beneath the surface miscommunication was at its peak as Dan suggested an idea cutter dis liked and this led to a whole new level of chaos the thing is cutter felt their dish was decent enough but Ramsay you have to listen to this but the most unexpected moment was yet to come when cutter told Joe not to taste the dish he shut him down immediately and that's when Joe did the [Music] unthinkable do the honors yep that's right he actually brought a trash can on stage and ordered them to throw the food away wow you know it's bad when not even Joe wants to do the honors of throwing it away now this has to be one of the most dramatic moments in master chef history and that's saying something for a show known for its drama so that was a quick rundown of some of the well Courtney the Superstar who aced the Mystery Box challenge picked meatloaf as the night's Target and guess what her powers weren't limited to just choosing meatloaf there are 20 Fier competitors out there only half we'll have to cook tonight yep the power to save some contestants but sadly Whitney didn't make the cut anyway they kicked off the meatloaf Challenge and Ramsay started dishing out his expert advice so I would do something modern I would line my mold with the bacon well he was all about adding a modern twist and suggested lining the dish with bacon and Graham also chimed in talking about a light coating of breadcrumbs and throwing in some mushrooms for good measure but one thing all the judges were on the same page about was this if they don't taste the seasoning of the Patty before they start cooking skipping the tasting for seasoning step would be a major blunder now what was Ramsay's strategy you asked make your plans get your seasoning in there and then fry off a small amount before you bake it yep to fry it off a bit taste it and then dial in the tweaks sounds like the bare minimum for getting a decent meatloaf but apparently that was advice these contestants needed now talking about Whitney and winning Master Chef was like her golden ticket to complete what she started so let's see what her big plan for snagging the win was I'm just making kind of a little Asian style meatloaf with a mango glaze she came up with an Asian style meatloaf with a sweet mango glaze however when she presented her dish Dan wasn't holding back pedestrian well we'll see because when Ramsey took a bite oh boy it was not looking good I can't think of anything worse to go in and meet loaf lemongrass and mango the glaze was stealing the show way more than it ought to and ramsy started throwing out words like blend and meatloaf desert to describe what she had brought to the table but he wasn't done but unfortunately you've taken a TV dinner and turn it into a TV disaster hey what did the meatloaf ever do to you okay now it was time for the results Ramsay announced that there were three worst dishes and at least one of them would be hitting the road Stephanie was called out first and then Graham brought Dan into the firing line and guess who Joe called out now the trio stood there probably feeling far more heat than all of their meatloaves put together before Ramsay announced he'd be sent packing he had another bomb to drop none of them did Justice to the humble meatloaf at first Dan stepped forward and Ramsey laid it out he had gone completely off the rails and had ideas that far out stripped his talent but there were still two more worst dishes to get through but soon enough it was Courtney's turn to reveal who was heading home she talked about the importance of passion and love in cooking and pointed out the lack thereof they'd shown in this challenge was ultimately going to send somebody home and guess whose name she called out I believe you're going to send home Whitney well she was spot on Ramsay confirmed as much Stephanie was relieved and Tey as she headed back to her station well Whitney with a heavy heart took off her apron and walked away the most upset that I had to leave this early due to something so simple as meatloaf she was bummed that something as conceptually simple as a meatloaf cost her her dream but she that aside do you remember what happened when Master Chef doubled the fun with a 2-hour double feature for the Mexican Tag Team Challenge all of these home Cooks right here are going to be competing in teams of two so this is what they were up against perfect platter of Mexican food a perfect platter of Mexican Staples was a hell of a tall task and if you're wondering what that was going to look like well cheffer own set the bar High starting here we have some homemade tortilla chips with the wonderful P de yeah given that he was putting his culture on the line for the contestants to potentially screw up it's no wonder why he'd want to go all out and then he dropped the bomb the contestants had to replicate the entire platter flawlessly but here's the catch they were going to be in teams but they wouldn't be cooking together one of you starts cooking and your partner must at the end of your station you want to come out the gate strong but you want to finish even stronger the deal would be that one of them would take the lead while the other stood at the end of the counter they could talk but not help however yeshika and Ebony were paired together and they had some serious concerns about it yesik and I both have extra aggressive sister Behavior they liked each other well enough sure but both were strong vocal women and putting them together was undoubtedly going to going to cause them to butt heads and as they dove into the challenge it became abundantly clear that the prophecy had come to pass need to do your no we got to catch up I got to finish neither was listening to each other about anything and the platter they ended up with ended up suffering for it they don't got the sugar COA I know but we got to get the Taquito rolled up Taquito got to roll Ebony and yika were nowhere near being on the same page well everyone else managed to escape by to varying degrees of success keyword being success but how do you think the judges reacted well it definitely wasn't going to be pretty I'll tell you that much e and they are nowhere near on the same page I don't know if they're going to make it but instead of worrying about their platter this is what the dream team of Ebony and yika was up to I think multitasking was a big issue I had to do have to try by myself right off the bat they started to argue about whose fault it was that the platter didn't come to together and Ebony made some bold claims that she had to handle everything herself but Ramsey wasn't interested in any excuses at this point of the competition so he had just one thing to say I mean it's Hest tell the TRU I think we did it together yeah he didn't come this far just to start letting contestants down gently the argument unfolded right in front of Ramsay with ebony dropping the bomb that yoshika was the new Jeff and remember how I said Ramsay probably felt like he was babysitting at the top of the video well I wasn't kidding there's no Synergy no Harmony but more importantly you ignored each other no way Ramsey was going to hold back he said how he had never seen two people more distant from each other he also pointed out that their inability to put their egos aside and get the job done was going to be at least one of their undoings it was an embarrassing moment for both shfs how are they going to work in a restaurant if they couldn't stand each other in the compet ition but get this all of that was before he even started looking even slightly deeper at the platter is it a magic trick shake the bag upside down I'm sure's going to be a white rabbit what is that I've seen more appetizing diapers yeah that taco looking like a diaper was a pretty apt observation but the funniest part was when Ramsay said this would you just do me a little favor say a prayer before tuck into the he requested yesika say a prayer for him before tasting food but I don't think that helped him much I give him a s back disgusting yeah not even God was going to be able to save that mass but despite literally everything I've gone over up to this point both Ebony and yoshika managed to survive and cook another day in fact ebony even went on to make it to the finals I definitely didn't have that upset on my bingo card when I was watching the season as it came out back in 2017 thankfully she didn't snipe the win for my boy Dino Silver Linings I guess but here comes another contestant who wasn't exactly prepared for what the competition demanded during one of the challenges in season 3 Helen Leeds presented a risoto dish and it was so bad that calling it a failure would be generous Helen had crafted little baskets from berock rout to hold her scallops but those dainty little baskets weren't going to save Helen from the undercooked zodo and raw scallop she had put into them taking the critique a step further Joe didn't hold back he grabbed some of Helen's food and say it with me now tossed it into the trash shocker in all seriousness though Helen was showing her serious lack of chops from day one and this was far from the only time she served such a ridiculous dish for example during the fresh versus canned elimination test this is what Helen was asked to cook she's definitely not a threat however she interpreted the gift from Ryan as a strategic move thinking he considered her a weaker contestant and wanted to give her a challenge but you have to give it to her despite the pressure she handled the crab with confidence I know how to cook a crab I know how to pick a crab and I know how to season a crab she even guided fellow contestant Tanya on handling her own live crab during the cook Ramsay paid helina visit and immediately noticed how much of a mesh he'd made look at the ingredients from there all the way to here option what in the hell are you doing undoubtedly with one of his eyes twitching he found the strength to ask her about her dish and this is when Helen stated that she was making a tomato-based crab soup and assured Ramsay She Was preparing just one portion but Ramsey reminded her of something important I haven't seen you win anything yet I've been struggling you struggling I've been struggling because I don't work well under pressure Helen admitted that she was struggling in the competition particularly with the concept of working under pressure this Revelation surprised Ramsay who then asked if she had any idea what was coming next as Ramsay left Helen acknowledged that the competition was only going to get tougher she'd have to find some way to shape up or she'd have to ship out not surprisingly when Helen faced the judges Joe express some concerns elen also same thing I think that she has no idea what she's doing and it wasn't just Joe Graham also had a few things to say and she's from the eastern shore of Maryland that's like crabville you know she should be able to do this blindfold damn right anyone from Maryland should at the very least do decently in a crab challenge let alone dominate it but of course that's not how things turned out for Helen when it came time to present her crab soup with cornbread Helen acknowledged that her soup ended up thicker than intended but insisted it retained the flavors and styles she aimed for now Joe was the first to taste her Dash you've done a great job of um taking a bunge ofous crap and making it taste like caned crap well he surprised surprisingly or maybe sarcastically praised her for making fresh crab taste like canned crab yeah definitely sarcastically now that I think about it however Graham had a different take it's almost more like a jumbalaya or something you know when you put that on Fork it looks like Shredded Wheat he compared it to a jambalaya and pointed out that the shredded crab may as well have been indistinguishable from cereal on his Fork but he somehow managed to take it up a notch waste of great product safe to say not Helen's finest moment I'm not entirely sure she ever had one but you get my point but that wasn't even the worst part Ramsey dipped the cornbread into the soup and quickly discovered an issue is that salt on top of the uh cornbread when he asked whether or not Helen had bothered to season the cornbread well she admitted she'd added a pinch but Ramsay wasn't buying it if you asked me to pay 20 $5 for that uh I wouldn't pay you 25 cents for that b always the seasoning now Helen was super shocked along with embarrassed his all get out and I can't say I blame her it shouldn't come as a surprise that Helen ended up being in the bottom four and after Frank and Mike returned to their stations Ramsay advised her to deliver if she wanted to pursue a light healthy style of cooking but despite her commitment Helen was ultimately eliminated for well pretty much everything I've met mentioned so far your time in Master Chef is done thank you please put your apron on your station but before leaving ramsy offered her words of encouragement telling her to keep her head high while keeping up with her education but she wasn't the only one whose confidence has taken a hit over the years in the duck Mystery Box challenge Ryan kept a low profile during the actual cook however when the time for judgment rolled around he was the first person called up nowhere to hide for him first person would like to invite down Ryan let's go Ryan at least looked confident and told himself that he wasn't surprised to be in the top group uh not so subtle hint that the other Home Cooks needed to up their game however the tables turned when Ryan along with the other two Cooks in the supposed top three Samantha and Scott for those of you keeping score from home learned that they were actually called down for having the worst three dishes and let me tell you you could pinpoint the exact moment when his heart broke I mean check it out what we think are the worst three dishes that smug grin of his quickly faded as they were informed that one of them was going to be headed out the door sooner or later to make things worse remember Ryan was the first off he presented a balsamic rum glazed duck breast with caramelized bananas and sweet potato puree but when Joe got his hands on it he did what Joe does best you proud of this it's rendered to the point of being dry Joe questioned if Ryan was proud of his creation pointing out that the duck was overcooked apparently getting that crispy skin had a pretty nasty side effect he also criticized the decision to add bananas to the play emphasizing that Ryan had referred to them earlier as the devil in the Box meanwhile Graham came up with a rather funny review it looks like you plated it and then stepped on it well that was definitely one way to describe it but he wasn't done he then went on to say that the bananas were cooked better than the duck itself and this is when Ramsey pitched in with some humor of his own You've Gone Bananas that's what's happened You've Gone Bananas anyway despite the criticism Ramsay acknowledged that Ryan was able to cook the duck relatively well but everything around it was beyond Dreadful I made a balsamic rum glazed duck breast with some caramelized bananas in the end Scott was the first to be saved amongst the three leaving the elimination battle between our main man Ryan and Samantha before Ramsey could announce his decision Ryan took the opportunity to plead his case expressing anything and everything he could think of that had the slightest chance to keep him from going home and I'm not definitely not ready to go home yet but he didn't stop there he continued to argue that compared to Samantha his duck was better executed ramsy interrupted his plea stating that he had no room to beg he was was there to compete not judge eventually Samantha was asked to leave and Ryan was sent back to a station maybe there was something to that begging after all huh but these next two had a lot of begging and bargaining to get to make way for the notorious Duo Dan and cutter from season five the two got a solid 60 Minutes to whip up a killer dish but things took a turn from the moment they hit the pantry I think basically put two variations of similar but not the same still making two separate cutter figured using two different lean proteins wouldn't blend well but Dan wasn't having any of it eventually the miscommunication led to confusion and that confusion completely ruined the most important part of the creation process that's it let's go we're have to go with this we have two proteins that do not pair together yeah maybe less arguing more well picking ingredients next time huh boys the drama continued as the judges swung by to check out the team's progress while cutter explains that they were going for venison and tuna Dan was already working on the tuna seeing this cutter used Ramsay as a sounding board for a hell of a venting sash Dam goes off on a wild tangent in pantry and by the time we got out of wean out of time I think that calling your own partner an idiot to their face may not have been the most strategic move here dude anyway when it was time to present their Masterpiece Courtney took one look at it and then another and then a third and still she could barely see any food on the plane on the other hand Ramsay was plain old disgusted what in the is that oh yeah believe me he was embarrassed for them but guess what cutter decided to do he threw Dan under the bus for the eenth time he has an idea I listened to him I told him I didn't like it he just starts grabbing however Dan wasn't about to take the fall for his partner in crime he went in there I gave my idea he gave his idea we grabbed the proteins and it didn't take long for ramsy to get sick of their little Blame Game why you pick up a basket fill it up and then bring it back at least you got something tangible to work with either way he made the poor decision to give it a taste it's possibly one of the worst dishes in this competition so far now that's a label I wouldn't even want to be associated with anyway Joe was the next one in line to taste the dish but cutter was quick to remind him of something you don't have to eat it really you don't I'm a judge here so why don't you let me figure out what I have to do of course Joe shut him down telling him to shut up and let him do his thing and what did he do exactly well let's just say it wouldn't take a genius to figure out do the honors poor Graham didn't even get a shot at tasting the disaster or maybe lucky Graham I don't know I don't think he had anything to complain about at the end of the day meanwhile Dan and cutter were still at each other's throats they were sure they were going to be landing in the pressure test and blamed each other for their untimely fate but did they actually make it to the pressure test you four home Cooks will now be cooking against each other in a pressure test I mean yeah no points for guessing and everyone's favorite dynamic duo ended up duking it out with Christian and Francis B in the end although cutter and Francis B ended up in the bottom too cutter managed to scrape by was saved from elimination for now now if you thought that was crazy you're absolutely right but wait till you see what happened here you ain't seen nothing yet and if we want to talk stupidity here's a guy who took the entire concept to the next level in short Jeff was a hot Mass he had a terrible temper always got into arguments and had no problem spewing excuses for all the mistakes he made it's safe to say that he thrived on negativity and brought everyone down with his bad vibes he'd honestly be more at home in Hell's Kitchen than Master Chef for my money had he been a professional chef and not a marketing director anyway rant aside he started off strong in the beginning determined to nail every challenge that was thrown his way but out of nowhere he took a massive nose dive into mediocrity and when things didn't go his way watch out he would flip out and have these violent tantrum and don't even get me started on how he acted when he was under pressure total meltdown and team player nah not Jeff he was the sorest loser you could ever imagine so with that background out of the way why don't we check out what happened in the family reunion Mystery Box challenge where Jeff had to create a Savory dish inspired by his loved ones what Jeff that is your amazing fiance and your baby when he saw his fiance and son he had this grand plan of making a soy glazed salmon with all these fancy autron like miso ginger garlic cauliflower puree and pickled radishes with Asian pears but unfortunately his dish didn't impress the judges anywhere near enough then the remaining contestants had to cook another salmon dish but here's the kicker Kate who had won the previous Mystery Box got to assign different time limits to everyone else at 50 minutes you'll shout out another name same at 40 minutes and then 30 now Jeff got the shortest time limit of just 20 minutes and he hurridly rushed towards the pantry to get things going I know I can make a 20-minute dishh like no other little did he know Kate actually wanted Jeff gone because of his poor attitude but Jeff bless his delusional heart believed that he was given the shortest time limit because he was seen as the strongest cook well he was going to figure out the real truth soon enough Jeff served a Mediterranean style salmon with FedEd cheese and sundried tomato relish over an apple and cucumber grotten with cranberry and stout beer so all we have here is a salmon filet with a Mediterranean vibe to it there with a little bit of the feta cheese and Sun tomato relish now Jeff was confident that his dish was the best anyone else could have done better however Ramsay wasn't impressed mainly because he found out the salmon was wrong I tried to poison me but Jeff tried to defend himself by saying that he intentionally wanted the salmon to be rare Ramsay however berated him for not understanding the difference between rare and raw I did go for a nice crispy skin what's more Ramsay found the combination of the salmon and the Groton to be super weird and even compared the salmon to Sushi it's like sushi though the fibers haven't even gone anyway when the judges headed out to finalize their decision Dino made a joke about making sushi which didn't sit well with Jeff couldn't be wrong but why Ser ra and man you have to listen to his retort yourselves go make a what go make another spaghetti meatball things escalated quickly and turned into a fullon brawl guys guys really stop either way the Moment of Truth had finally arrived and Jeff found himself standing alongside yika as one of the two home Cooks up for elimination now Ramsay didn't hold back in his criticism you C like you didn't care and just when it seemed like yoshika would be the only one going home Ramsay shocked Everyone by eliminating both yeshika and jaff yesika and Jeff aside from the raw salmon Ramsay claimed Jeff's defensive and unteachable attitude ultimately sealed his fade when Jeff was asked about his feelings after the elimination he surprisingly had some good things to share I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank the three of you so thank you by the way he also admitted that he may have rubbed some of the cooks the wrong way with his attitude but he maintains that he did the best he could I did the best that I could well done all in all Jeff was a train wreck of a competitor with his temper childish behavior and inability to see his own flaws it's no wonder he went down in flames but let's be real dude never stood a chance against my boy Dino but here comes another contestant whose time on the show was also quite challenging you see Mark's attitude and lack of cooking skills made him stand out for all the wrong reasons despite entering the competition with confidence and dreams of winning Mark's disrespectful Behavior towards the judges particularly when intentionally provoking them didn't go unnoticed moreover he was in denial about his poor performances and showed little passion Talent OR fighting Spirit despite being advised by ramsy to get his head back in the game more times than not Mark's lack of care and effort in the kitchen resulted in him being unable to present a single acceptable dish to the judges now the Mystery Box challenge brought both excitement and disappointment for Mark as one of the top 20 home Cooks in the competition he was coming in with some High Hopes during the challenge Mark was determined he'd come out on top with a pan cake breakfast with lockas I didn't come here to lose after the challenge Ramsay took a moment to check on Mark's progress and inquire about his dish Mark confidently shared what he had made believing that he would stand out and potentially win an advantage I've got this I'm going to be getting the advantage however things took a different turn when Ramsey revealed that Mark Along With Sam and Heather had the worst dishes of the night you three stood out for all the wrong reasons despite the setback Mark Sam and Heather were called back to the front for further evaluation each of these dishes uh way off during the review of his dish Christina addressed Mark directly and she pointed out the flaws in his caramel swirl pancake with potato lackas apples and bananas mentioning how the undercooked pancake and the raw fruit on the plate just ruined the whole experience it has problems it's undercooked but don't forget that his potatoes had the consistency of meat of all things yikes can't even imagine after seeing potential in Mark's previous ravioli dish Christina believed he could do better but this time well she wasn't so sure it's underwhelming and disappointing to say the least but Mark's reaction did nothing to help his cause if anything it just left Christina confused I feel like it was the fourth quarter with 2 minutes left and it ran onto the field without my helmet or my jock strap during the elimination test Mark's slow pace and lack of urgency caught the attention of his fellow home Cooks Ebony and Jeff when Christina approached Mark station for an update he had decided to redo his pancake dish this time adding chocolate chips and serving it with baked eggs I'm going to go back to the 28th sweep and nail that and I'm going to do a baked eggs in the oven this time Christina was curious to find out what pushed him to make the switch and you just won't believe what he said what with all these football analogies and Christina decided to ignore that but things took yet another turn for the worst when Mark put raw bacon strips into his baked eggs leaving everyone including those watching from the balcony had a total loss for words why would you do that with only 15 minutes remaining Christina was concerned about Mark's frazzled behavior however Ramsay clung on to hope that Mark hadn't completely checked out of the competition but the seriousness was undoubtedly missing look at him and think that wow this guy's desperate anyway sometime later when Ramsay was about to leave Heather's station Mark made a provoking comment directed towards Ramsay you know what you could do Heather just do what I do and ignore them bold strategy let's see how that plays out somehow I don't think that's the best strategy Mark and unfortunately for him Ramsay happened to overhear it and of course he wasn't about to let it slide take it serious or take your apron off ramsy warns Mark to either show more dedication or just flat out remove his apron right there I mean clearly the dude had zero respect for the competition Mark thinks the world stops for him not today baby mm- but somehow with Just 2 minutes remaining Mark finished his dish first but guess what he was the last person to have his dish judge by Ramsay for some reason I don't think he was saving the best for last although Mark believed he was getting better with every dish Ramsay thought otherwise when Ramsay tasted his dish he came down with some heavy hitting criticism that is tough to look at but when Ramsay quizzed Mark if he was happy with his dish Mark's arrogance decided to take Center Stage I successfully completed the 28th sweep but I think I scored a touchdown although Mark's dish wasn't entirely disappointing Ramsey wondered if he was hungry enough to push himself further are you hungry enough to become America's Next Master Chef in response Mark claimed that he was starving but Christina had some serious doubts well she did acknowledge that the pancakes were cooked properly this time but was a Dish as simple as this truly worthy of the competition just a matter of whether a chocolate chip pancake and baked eggs is worthy of this competition in the end Mark was shown the door for two main reasons for lacking the hunger and drive to stay in the competition and more so for his disrespectful Behavior but of course Mark didn't exactly agree with the judge's decision I'm so proud of myself right now that if I had two arms attached to my back I'd be patting myself on the back I'd be hugging myself that's the truth stra up I mean the dude wanted to give himself a hug so you can imagine how self-centered the guy was okay on to the next now season 1 even though it was the first season had it fair share of unexpected twists but it was in episode 11 that things took a turn for the worst for one particular home cook so the critics were super excited to try some delicious dishes when Whitney boldly served some pans seared sculpin with a little special ingredient caned Tomatoes um I actually used the tomatoes out of the can this Revelation left the judges stunned and their enthusiasm completely drained from their faces like we've been down this road before we know how much Ramsay hates canned food and none of the judges were actually interested in tasting the dish anymore thank you whether it was out of ignorance or just plain old stupidity Whitney certainly took a bold step with those canned tomatoes it was a high-risk low reward move that just didn't pay off and unfortunately her choice didn't impress the critics as nothing felt right about the dish I can't really taste the fish because there's so much garlic in my mouth it's surprising that Whitney was actually happy with it despite the poor feedback the flavor profile of the dish seemed to be off with the addition of too much garlic and salt too in the end Whitney barely managed to score five points but hey I'm surprised they even awarded her points in the first place a five out of 12 that person is Whitney however when Ramsay got his hands on it he didn't hold back in calling her out why tell the harshest critics anywhere in the world today that you're serving them caned Tomatoes see it's one thing to take risks and try new things in the kitchen but it's important to remember that the quality of the ingredients and how they're prepared are crucial to the success of any dish especially on a platform like Master Chef and boy oh boy did Reddit fly into a rage once the episode hit the airwaves although Whitney started things off with a hand Tomatoes she did manage to win the title for the season but not many viewers were happy about it one even mentioned how she was given a ton of attention throughout the season when she didn't deserve it at all if anything Whitney played it safe throughout the season with flavors she was confident with plus the fact that the judges were obsessing over her young age over and over and over again just plain sucked to see I mean come on she was no Prodigy have you ever watched a single episode of Master Chef Jr those are the real prodigies but if you haven't make sure to check them out on my channel you'll be surprised how much talent those young chefs are packed with certainly more than Whitney considering not one of them has served canned tomato sauce ever but that aside someone else even thought that David was better off than her but I'm not entirely in agreement with that assumption I mean David had more than enough issues to share with the rest of the class in the beginning David started off as a kick-ass cook he was passionate logical respectable hell I even thought he'd make it to the finale unfortunately though in the second half of the Season he went downhill real fast all of his positives had turned into nothing but arrogance suddenly he was argumentative selfish caring only about himself and when episode 10 rolled around things really started to fall into place not for him oh no but for just how far he'd fallen and the P day resistance this dish I did the uh Lobster on the pizza stone as well and the judges were not having it this looks really bad Graham pulled absolutely no punches by pointing out just how horrific it was to even look at and of course Joe shot back with a you expect me to eat this classic as for Ramsay his comment was so blun it was almost painful to hear you just fell 1,000 foot with nothing underneath you it's great shame David felt like he was hit with a ton of bricks he seemed to struggle to defend himself in the face of the criticism but guess what there is not a single thread on Reddit discussing the worst Master Chef dishes ever that doesn't feature David's supy disaster and believe me I checked oh boy boy I checked you'd be hard pressed to find a single positive comment about the guy and guess what someone even ranked him as the worst contestant of the Season placing tally and even Ryan higher up on their personal list this viewer here also had a pretty clear justification to give they felt David was a mean and lazy person who dodged the blame in team challenges and made excuses and individual challenges surely not top six material right but what what do you think now wait before you make that assessment because here's another David moment that you simply cannot ignore I'm talking about the Mystery Box challenge of episode 15 surprisingly David's dish actually ended up in the top three it feels amazing considering he won the damn thing he had the power to choose the ingredients for the elimination round which happened to be desserts sounds like a sweet deal right well David had to choose from three ingredients provided by the judges now here's where things took a turn for the worst David wasn't confident with Beats and assumed the others would Excel with bacon so there was only one thing left corn he was then presented three corn dishes out of which he had to pick one I immediately know I'm going to make rice pudding before the challenge even started David was given an extra 5 minutes to pick any other ingredients he needed and this is where the trouble began as soon as the challenge started David made a major mistake Josh do you have any rice no rice David runs by and asks me if I have any rice he wanted to make rice pudding but completely forgot the main ingredient if that's not stupidity then I don't think I'll ever figure out what is but hey mistakes happen right but unfortunately this mistake happened on master cheef so it was going to cost him a whole lot more than if he'd forgotten it at home and needed to run out to the corner store so in a panic David was scrambling to get rice from the other contestants how much do you need the smallest amount do you need all of it no I was going to do that as a backup but I'm good finally after all the chaos he managed to get some rice for himself but by that point the judges had already seen him running around and were in utter disbelief they couldn't wrap their heads around how he managed to mess up his own Advantage like that so did he redeem himself well let's just say it didn't turn out as well as he had hoped so as the winner of the challenge David was the first to present his dish to the judges of course they were curious to find out what the whole rice mess was about and David had to explain his embarrassing blunder in front of everyone unfortunately all that explanation was for nothing because the judges weren't impressed with his dish at all corn and milk based rice pudding with a little bit of corn salt caramel at the bottom Joe in particular was brutally honest as per usual right well if you didn't think he could get any more brutal here you go really really unly disgusting but if you don't think Joe's comment was disrespectful just wait until you hear what he said next did you taste this he was so disappointed with its flavor that he even asked David if he had tasted it him himself when David mentioned that it reminded him of his mom's cooking you can probably guess where Joe decided to go with it that's a place that I'm going to avoid but to be fair the other judges weren't too impressed with David's dish either I expect something so much better they did give him some actual constructive criticism but it wasn't enough to save him from the bottom three and in the end David narrowly escaped elimination and Felix was sent home instead thank you David back to your bench honestly if it was up to me I would have eliminated David because like forgetting the rice in his rice pudding I mean how dense can you be overall though it wasn't David's best performance on the show not by a long shot but hey at least he dodged the bullet this time but next time well he wouldn't be so lucky that's a story for another time though but I digress after all considering all
