MASSIVE WINTER STOCK UP FOR OUR LARGE FAMILY || FREEZER + PANTRY TOUR (FOOD, PET, + HOUSEHOLD ITEMS)

[Music] hello everybody and welcome back today i'm going to be sharing a i guess tour of our pantry and freezers it's not really a pantry per se but it's shelving we have down here in our basement i'm down here in the basement here's our wood stove there's a bunch of stuff back there it's a mess down here but i've kind of cleaned up one area to put some stock up stuff we wanted to do like a four to six month stock up to get us through the winter and hopefully into some warmer weather we have a high risk child at home and we don't want to really be out in flu and coronavirus season unless needed so we wanted to like just stock up as much as possible and also if we happened to get sick or anything we wanted to have as much here that we could without having to run out to the store a bunch of times sick or infecting other people or getting you know us getting infected by going out so yes we will still go to the store for fresh stuff yes we will still go to the store as needed for pick up to pick up monthly hauls and stuff like that but we wanted to have stuff here just in case and build a stockpile because you never know what's going to happen so i want to start off by saying a couple things this won't be stuff that you guys use for your family and that's fine everybody's families are different so no judgment this is stuff that i normally don't buy all the time either but i tried to go with some easy stuff that way if somebody is sick here and we're busy we um are able to just quick or cook a quick meal and then secondly this isn't completely organized it's not a beautiful pantry that you'd see from all these like great youtubers that have perfect pantries and perfect stock ups and perfect hauls this is real life haul this is a real life we're gonna use this food and i needed a place to store it so it went where it was okay we have some stuff and some totes it's some stuff piled on top of the totes i mean it's real life so it's not beautiful but it works um and third i'm also going to show you our freezer so you can see what kind of stuff we did i didn't go as much on the freezer foods as i did on the dry storage just because of the space i would like to have gotten a lot more freezer stuff than i did i just didn't have the room to do it i'm sure that you understand so let's get on into it i'll show you what we got um i had actually filmed like the halls as they came in because i did order from sam's club and i did order from walmart both so i did film as they came in but they came in so random and so just whatever was ready at the warehouse shipped kind of thing so i kind of scratched that idea and i just went with i'll put it all away and then i'll just film it all together because that's gonna make a lot more sense so there you go so we'll start over here i got three bags of our puppy food because they're only 20 pound bags versus i got two bags of each of the cat and dog food because these are 35 pounds and those are 25 pounds so even though i got three it's still smaller that's why i got three of the wet cat food that one obviously the box broke um i forgot to get wet dog food but we've also been making our own dog food so i actually do like a mixture sometimes i'll do that and then sometimes if i don't have anything made we'll feed them regular dog we do a mixture of dry and wet for both the cats and dogs so i'll make up some chicken and some green beans or sweet potatoes or just whatever we have on hand for the dogs but sometimes if i haven't had time we will do wet food but since i don't have any wet food for the dogs we'll just have to make them their own food which is totally fine i got three bags of 25 pound rice it's just white long green rice i got two boxes of these vienna sausages i got a box of tomato sauce these are over here because i don't have any room to put them elsewhere three each of laundry detergent and fabric softener i actually got two boxes of two packs of dryer sheets this stuff i previously had so i didn't have to get any of that i actually had one of those bags of rice so i only got two i have water vinegar and that fabuloso stuff which i've had so that was not included in this but it's down here so you get to see it these are full and have been i didn't buy anything for these um for right now but whole wheat flour rice i'm not sure what's on the bottom there's sugar there's i think to our whole wheat flour to a regular flour and then sugar that's what that is there are two bags of pancake mix we had one i bought one so there's two i bought three things of wipes i had that huggies one down there already i didn't buy any of those juice boxes we've had them i had bought them before school started but school never started so they're still here i got two boxes of actually i think i got one and i had one here already of bar of soap i don't even know what order i'm going to go in but maybe i'll just start down here um this is nowhere near as organized as i would like or wished or hoped it would be and i actually wish i had like a separate area for like um hygiene stuff and food but i don't so there's some things that are mixed and there's some things at the end that i'll show you that are just piled up because i don't know where i'm gonna put them yet um there's a bunch of shampoo body wash conditioners all of this this actually i need to take upstairs that has been something spilled i need to clean up but this stuff has been here i didn't buy any of this recently um tissues i got three pedia lights back there because those are always good to have on hand when you have sick sick kids which i don't but if i do i'll have that ready to go um let's see i got applesauce hydrogen peroxide alcohol i only got one of these hand soaps i already had one here i got one two three four five six seven eight so i got two or four two packs of apple juice you can see they came in the mail so they came like all busted i got a huge thing of hand sanitizer this one we already had here this i need to take upstairs three things a vegetable i think i already had one i got two more um i have previously had these extra virgin olive oil so i did not order these recently there's a bunch of water that we have had um here's some wipes that we have had i had this ajax we have had i ordered two dawn cleaning things and a while ago i had ordered two ajax but i didn't know that so we are set on dishwashing soap for a long time i didn't realize how much i had i had no idea honestly until i started going through things down here and i was like wow i won't need that for like three years um i ordered these i think i have had because i didn't order these those two cascades i did buy they were on sale through sam's club so i ordered those which i don't ever order tablets because i think this stuff is just so much cheaper and it works fine but because they were on sale i went ahead and ordered them um maybe i did order two hand soaps because look there's a third one the jet finish dry i ordered that a while ago that's just down here there's some bleach i did not order those recently but they're down here two things of trash trash bags from sam's club his aunt gave us this i ordered ramen i did order two of each of those shrimp and chicken to have on hand my husband likes to take those work the kids like to eat them sometimes and they're super cheap so they're here beef cup of noodles we've had forever i did order two of these boxes of unicorn mac and cheese it's not something i ever buy but i saw those and i was like my girls would love them so i ordered them tomato paste coconut milk baked beans i did order i don't have any room for now let's see a bunch of egg noodles i did order i ordered a lot of stuff from sam's club and walmart i think that's where everything came from so let's start up here minced garlic buttermilk blend there's a bunch of seasonings and spices up there a bunch of um sandwich bags freezer bags all of that stuff foil sheets uh plastic wrap there's apple cider vinegar and regular vinegar i did not order any of those they're just up here baking soda i did not order it's been here water we've been trying to stock up on every time we go um to the store for the month we try to grab a couple of those because we live on a well and sometimes if we want to run out of water for any reason we need to have extra not only for us but for animals because we do have lots of those um i got two things of quick oats this is muffin mix that we've had forever the um granola bars we've had forever there's more of that i got two things of bisquick a while ago that i haven't opened which is good i got lots of cream of wheat we got cocoa cream of wheat and regular cream cream of wheat and back behind that is actually dry powdered milk in case for some reason we can go out to the store i have milk on hand we have tons of oatmeal um maya sent us a bunch of oatmeal but then also i got i think four boxes or so we have um two boxes right here pancake mix that i've had from aldi i just haven't opened another box of granola bars which i did not order to stock up on they've just been here some cereal as well for that um this is our dessert fun area um i did not order any jello because we have a ton in there i did order a bunch of pie fillings frostings boxed cake mix box brownie mix all of that fun stuff cookies i think we've had i ordered some chocolate chips so we've got all of that ready to go some graham cracker pie crusts some more cereal we've got two of these i ordered from sam's club some syrup i ordered a big box of popcorn for our popcorn and movie nights um just a bunch of random stuff back there snacks crackers things like that down here is like our peanut butter and jelly we have tons of peanut butter we have a bunch of creamy we have some chunky because my husband likes chunky we have some peanuts we have some egg noodles we have a lot of grape jelly and a lot of strawberry jelly we have a ton of egg noodles because i didn't realize that i was ordering packs of multiple packs so i ordered like six i thought i was getting like six bags and there were like six packs of like three or four at a time so we have an excess of egg noodles and that's totally my fault we have some toothpaste for the kids and toothpaste for adults and then over here we have tea bags i ordered um two things of hot chocolate mix but one is upstairs already we have two things of peanut butter protein powder three things of coconut oil because those were marked down on sale at sam's club so i went ahead and grabbed three of them it's not something i normally grab three of but they were marked like on clearance sale so it was a really good price i can't remember at the time what it was or now what it was at the time but it was like super good enough for me to get three of them i have two things of coffee here two things of the glacier freeze and two things of the lemon lime gatorade those are good to have on hand for kids that are also sick um two things of parmesan cheese i got two things of country time lemonade actually i don't think i had those or got those i think those have been here and we just have not been drinking them um same with this lemon juice i did not order that i did order two things of mayonnaise i already had four here that was another thing i didn't realize i had just like the ajax or the dish soap um but we're set on mayonnaise for a little bit uh honey i ordered two things i already had three plus this um this is local honey to us that someone had given us at one point we have a ton of salt and pepper um cornmeal i got this coffee mate stuff just in case for any reason we can't get out to the store to get creamer um and have like fresh um fridge creamer i did order this just as a backup in case i ordered that sour cream powder for the same reason um cornstarch back there this vanilla i also ordered i had two of them i ordered two just like the honey i didn't know i had two already here so i should have came down here and dug through stuff like i said if you guys have been following me for a while um we moved here like eight months ago i never came down and organized our pantry so when i ordered stuff i didn't it's just been a mess down here so it's taken me a while to get all this organized and once i went through it and organized it i found some stuff that i didn't even know that we had honestly and so we also have three things of this vanilla i have breadcrumbs here which i didn't order um i did order three of those coke uh baking cocoas and i already had two here there's a lot of baking powder back there and a lot of spray um cooking sprays we have ketchup i actually need to take this one upstairs hang on sorry about that um i ordered two three packs of ketchup because i only had that one here so i did order two packs of those we have some hot sauce some soy sauce some worcestershire some vinegar a bunch of barbecue a bunch of dressings um mustard just a bunch of random stuff none of this stuff i ordered besides the ketchup this stuff was all here already uh stovetop i ordered a box of it from sam's club these i did not stock up on these have been here i've been ordering them through the past couple months long grain rice and cheesy rice i did order a box of cream uh corn muffin mix i ordered these from walmart i think six of them again not something i normally buy but i saw it when i was like ordering other things and i was like oh those are good let me go ahead and buy those um i ordered these from sam's or from walmart too um not something i normally buy but i saw them and i was like uh yum i didn't order any tomato sauce um pasta sauce because we have some but i did order alfredo sauce and got that shipped here so we're set on that we have a ton of taco shells already so i didn't order any of those now uh for canned vegetables i ordered some some we've had so we're this is the shelf that we've been working on that we've had these are extras that got ordered um as far as i can recall or remember so we have had corn green beans peas potatoes refried beans black beans a bunch of like random beans for chilis and um baked beans i forgot this shelf too this shelf i think we've had all of this too so we've had tomato sauce crushed tomatoes green chilies a can of coconut milk pumpkin cranberry sauce a bunch of canned fruits tomato sauces um rotel chili dogs like stuff like that we've had all of this shelf right here as well too now right here i skipped all these shelves oh my gosh sorry i'm going out of order i did order two or three packs of chicken breast i did not order any tuna because they were out um so this tuna we have had i ordered three boxes of cream of mushroom and three boxes of cream of chicken campbell's they're behind these so this walmart stuff is what we had previously but all of that behind it is what i ordered so i only had like these six and these well seven right here i ordered chicken and beef broth the big ones these three i guess i had already um down here we have mashed potatoes which we had i ordered two packs of applesauce i had one here out of two three packs so that's what that is um we have a bunch of dried beans lentils which i think we had previously had i don't think i ordered any of those and then um i did order two packs of brown sugar so i did have those two up there we have powdered sugar which i already had these we had these two beefy onion lipton packets these onion ones were marked down on walmart's website first super super super cheap um i don't know if they're changing the package or what they're doing but they were incredibly cheap so i grabbed a couple they were um i think three packs i grabbed one two three of them maybe um i can't remember the price again but they were super super cheap so let's go back up here i did order these are new corn green means peas black beans refried beans i ordered condensed milk evaporated milk not all of that i did have a couple of those i just happen to move them up there and then over here we stocked up on spaghetti pasta all of that because they were these are six packs and a sam's club they were marked down to four dollars and something so they were less than a dollar for all of their packs so um these we previously had but i did get two boxes of spaghetti two boxes of angel hair i got two boxes of the elbow noodles and what else did i get anything else back there we had minus the um egg noodles and all that mac and cheese i ordered like three six packs of mac and cheese so we did order that as well and then here's what i said i wish i had room for so i ordered um deodorant there's the other pack of dryer sheets i ordered some cotton swabs i ordered some feminine products because we have lots of women in the house i ordered mouthwash there's a couple of i ordered three i think of these it's a shampoo and conditioner set and then anything else we have in there there's a couple of them i know it's hard to see but all that stuff stuff stacked on top we already had a bunch of shampoo and conditioner from sam's club to begin with so this entire box down here is full of um shampoo and conditioner and all of that so we are set on shampoo conditioner body wash mouthwash toothpaste deodorant basically all the um like anything we're going to need for the bath we are set on we're set on food we're set on cleaning products we are set on animal products i also got four things of huge cat litter so we're good on that we are set on baby wipes we are set on feminine products we are set on water i mean we could always probably use more water but i think we are set on food for at least three months maybe i don't know you guys this was full like last month um in no shape or order just kind of bags thrown on there so i guess it wasn't totally full but we went through it in about a month so i'm not sure how long this is going to last but we're set and it might not look like things you'd buy and it's not things that i normally buy but it's things that are going to be quick and easy i actually wanted to get some boxed meals where you just kind of throw meat in because i was thinking if any of us do get sick it would be super easy to do i just never got around to it um so yeah i mean here we are this is what i've got for us to get us through for the winter and what we're gonna do is we're gonna keep on buying things for the month and just rotating in and out so um anything that comes in we'll put in the back and we'll keep pulling from the front that way it just keeps rotating and nothing goes bad here's another and not pretty part of our stock up stuff but let me show you we have toilet paper i mean paper towels paper towels toilet paper and napkins and the rest of our house is a mess right here but there you go we are toilet paper and paper towel set and i said that i got four things of cat litter so there we go okay and so here are is our big deep freezer after stocking up and after our monthly haul so i didn't do as i said i didn't do too much like stocking up for our freezer because we just don't have the space so this is meat that we've had plus like frozen cheese that we've had and yeast and stuff like that plus basically just like our monthly meat veggies frozen fruit stuff like that and then in this freezer we have more this is mostly like monthly stuff that we just got from the store um and i guess also some stock up stuff but yeah and then in this freezer we also have stock up stuff plus um stuff for the month at the bottom is all of our homegrown from chickens that we did this is what we bought this for is for our chickens we did we got them processed and they're in the bottom of this all like frozen whole chickens plus we have some breads and stuff like that and ice cream and all of that fun stuff oh and this is our freezer upstairs too that's part of our stock up everything we've got frozen cheese ice cream butter meats veggies got the meat tortillas frozen um fruits and stuff like that all right thank you for watching i know that ordering i did like two big orders maybe three and it's what i saw what i thought we could use what i thought we would use we might not use it and then we might not need it hopefully we don't don't
