Massive Abandoned Mine

what is up guys it is John I'm back with another epic adventure today we're in Kentucky and we're at this huge massive abandoned mine that sets right behind me we're gonna go in this entrance and explores place it's supposed to be over two million square feet inside now back in the 70s I grew mushrooms in here believe it or not and before that it was a limestone mine I believe started back in the late 1800s so this place is very old it's rumored to have a mysterious lake inside and an altar were they been doing devil worshipping stuff and creepy things like ass so guys weren't Hut for the stuff I've got my boy Tim from breaking the shale show ya guys and I got East Tennessee Explorer here mr. ray has come with us he is actually wanting to found this place and showed it to us guys we're gonna explore this are you ready [Music] [Applause] [Music] one of the buildings it was built here it's only one with herb roof on it sort of for the most part almost the winds blew it away or if they just never did complete it all right guys were wild from the end forgive the wind but one of the dark stories about this is there was a young man and his girlfriend they murdered his parents and had dumped their bodies into Lincoln they say it's like an old ancient like I don't know it seemed the over the mine I think it's probably just flooded or they hit water but guys it's pretty creepy go take it out you never see footprints and where people's been robbed before this place is huge I'd say we need to stick close to each other in here yeah oh gosh it's muddy right yeah well you know where to begin man the beginning yeah for real starts getting dark quick God that just goes on and on and on I say start down the main shaft and see where we end up oh this caved in yeah that caved in see that's yeah definitely need to be careful in a place like this likely that rocked up airport routing yeah put the water seeping through there's a crack right there but it doesn't look like water how my camera just got really blurry focus holy moly [Applause] it's very looking at over here good lord yeah you can see oh yeah they're in a dangerous area man yeah it is yeah you can see more entrances over there just looking straight into darkness it's another cave-in over there look at these massive columns they say life is all way back here and it's just endless how far it goes there's another entrance over there you can see see the water seeping through the roof that's like gonna be a cave-in anywhere you see that water leaking down look for reflective eyes - guys how many million square feet those was another entrance over there did you say there were eight entrances here twelve I can't wait to like something growling [Applause] it's like some kind of hoist system or maybe cable system ran through oh yeah he's over there that's water dripping there's just cave-ins everywhere dude there's another one like that right there where the Shelf gave out we got to be super careful man and not split up stay within a hundred foot or so from each other yeah it is it is getting colder eventually we won't get past these entrances this is like concrete or something here I see something laying right there [Applause] there's just so much of this place [Applause] yeah they sent a block this up this is this is part of the mushroom growing gonna be wild to find some mushrooms growing in here more entrances down again Lord I don't even know where to go what is it look at the ventilation stuff up top what you hear something [Applause] somebody's that fires in here it's just not smart to heat up the roof [ __ ] it I look out menacing it looks back that way Oh God y'all keep stepping on the stuff well at the back track it looks like us oh god dude that is a huge pentagram this Justine's being crazy it's my play tic-tac-toe over there [Applause] what the scene from the matrix when the Canadian the third one I don't know if I've seen it I'd say go on the end but stick to the middle cuz everything brought seems to branch off this middle part and go as far as this a lettuce and kind of explore the side steps on the way back out there's the entrance way down there where we came in at and who knows how far this goes just counts forever man yeah say we go as far as we can and like come back over yonder some water to the route as far as we can cuz this is nothing but a giant grid all right guys this part still flooded you can see it's kind of neat look back at way it's just back through there we're gonna keep heading this way looks like it starts going downhill as we go farther see it don't go very far that way right it's water flowing in that's and heavy flow though it is it smokes stay away from those real wet areas man this is deep do that the reflections my wife makes when I raise it up off the waters this reminds me of descent this is probably when they were growing the mushrooms they like that's why it's flooded as mushrooms need a lot of water don't they yeah that's why you had all those ventilation systems over there probably pump warm area look this branches off this way and it's dry I vote though we go as far as we can this way until we find the lake and as we come back we come back over that way explore that side cuz you can't see everything over here we're past the buildings now we're we're underground underground there's I hope we can find the lake and where all those cars are rumored to be stored I did was that you - I heard somebody go he dumped their bodies back here right yeah check this out guys I bet this is what they grew the mushrooms on on the way around this yeah check it out these mushroom growing crates that's something else it's all soft soil here you don't love them over there so cool look at all mushroom growing platforms that's crazy you see some kind of Popeye electrical wire or something I also got a fire hose maybe it was what they used to pump the water and it kind of spring sprayed out over all of this it was quite a ways back at way too just mazes all different directions no wonder if this is the end where's right I see there a cave-in that's the end let's not look too much like a like to see if I can zoom in with you like with your light on that back wall Haven I think it looks a hole right there yeah I'm not sure look how far it goes right here just stop yeah as we're trying to get to the other side of this water Tim's found that way looks like it gets drier right there we'll get across this water I think if I go this way and they'll get me there I don't like good balance so I'm gonna go this way that was actually there's all those crates over there yeah I think I found my way around [Applause] I didn't see more cave-ins over here [Applause] that's a nasty murky part I'm gonna walk over this is real quick - yeah it's caved in over there it's where I thought saw something move back there lead all those mushroom crates over there all right sound away over [Applause] [Applause] here that reverb did you drag your feet [Applause] there's a lot of water flowing back here somehow oh you can see that roofs starting to blow up here yeah it's starting to like Sagat smoke a lookout over there it's like pushing out look at this that's where they drilled him blasted right there looks like looks like a blast fracture there's like little holes over there where it's caved in switch hands here do that that sound like something growling did y'all hear that it's not something look at that that's good [Applause] looks like it guys it's a lot of water coming in at over the Asian right was that you did you make that noise okay don't stay too far away from this big American flag painted over there he's over yonder ya know I asked me what they grew the mushrooms in yep well it's like a big wooden pallet with a flag painted on it I know he beat me to it America for old times sake guys our first video together thanks no you can see way down that way all the mushroom beds [Applause] as I think we've reached the end yeah less lot more moisture yeah I don't see [Applause] send nudes please let's sit on the back wall there yeah I know for home my dad says in the coal mines they leave not as big as these but these pillars when they're done mining they'll cut them out one at a time and let it cave in as they back out of the mine when they're done did you see I sell it and get all the coal out you know these mushroom beds too bad we don't have any mushrooms growing in here yeah that's a knee-slapper tale back in the day yeah see what's a ramp to here we're on the other side of that water now there's gas this look at the swirls on top sit on camera not like it could be moss or something oh I know you know so you think this is what they called the like that's what I'm wondering was itwas say it online that there was hundreds of cars stuffing with it keep hoping we run into another shaft that goes on and doesn't look like a relative they burn a bunch of tires [Applause] yeah Wow yeah this fire this puts off so much smoke that's why it's so bought back here what kind of idiots will do this [Applause] [Applause] those voices hello as much water there is in here I could see people kind of mistaking this for a lake but it's definitely not like this is kind of flooded I say we backtrack and going that dry patch and see how far over we can go so he's back in here I'm guessing they called this the like see how the piles of rock air was back here where the bodies were dumped the young man and his girlfriend murdered his parents dumped their bodies back here in this water it doesn't go very far back that way okay that's pretty much the end back here on that back wall so we're at the back of the I'm assuming we're at the back of it I hear talking guys hello there anyone in here away this I think a lot of what I'm hearing is water dripping this doesn't make it any less creepy there's all those crates back there [Applause] yeah this is gonna be what they called the like it's not really a leg though this has got to be where the bodies were dumped Oh somewhere back here yeah for real but I mean you can pretty much see everywhere around here there's not much more to go back here all right it's back that ways where the lake was kind of back that way we're over here there's an opening there looks pretty sketchy to go through I'll see what we see up here you see way down there hates it oh I'll get all this over here oh wow this is what they said was an altar I bet there's someone like wow there's an exit just right there we still got a lot exploring to do in here though before we leave yeah we got a dead end here [Applause] lotta mushroom crates yeah I'm trying to be no more shorts just tons of mushroom crates hey yeah sure would I love it yeah look at flashlights starting to die I want to change the batteries out soon but look at all those crates yeah yeah that looks like Oh fire you can see where it had branches out where it'll be like a sprinkler system and just walk they just use that to water cuz they had to keep him very moist I'm sure to grow yeah I'm sure that [ __ ] door ran that way maybe there's still a lot we haven't explored let's just explore and enjoy it huh girl found it so she can find it so it goes way over that way well the cool thing about this place is if any of you ever come here and explore you can always find an exit and people have spray-painted arrows on the walls to kind of guide you out of here just follow one of these trails and he'll lead you somewhere out because there's like 12 exits this place [Applause] yeah he goes far back at way too we need to go over there and explore so many of these mushroom beds no it's endless so I'm saying we got forever that way to explore oh there's the steps check this out guys we just found this team's up are on top set of steps goes up to this platform I think I know what this is know exactly what this was nope it was bathrooms you can see where the turlet sit right there what's left of the toilets you know what's crazy it just dropped down into this this was like a basically a septic tank and all of it just went inside of it I don't know if y'all can tell it's just a big open tank down here yep I'm gonna get off this floor fall through it may sketchy-looking going down we're gonna go over this way there's a bunch more where they grew mushrooms rumored if there's hundreds of cars stashed in one of these tunnels yeah it looks like they dug drainage for it there's somebody else had a fire yeah this lights getting dim all right to change the batteries out big and prove my guys let's head over this way let's do a lot of mind explore heads up guys if you have specialty batteries and you need some replacement ones don't wait till you get a smoke to a small town and go to the Rite Aid gonna spend almost 40 bucks on three batteries it goes away over there but look at this that looks sketchy that's right find the way around this no I do not want to take this awesome bridge you go back this way guys I bet back yes my camera to focus in here give us some waters coming through that that's over here and all the gals that Oh sex is gonna cave in before long let's go back to the other side how these blocked up walls in here go around here see they've attempted to block people from driving in here but it's obviously not worked very well [Applause] [Applause] like something moving down there way the only nice point win a lot of water to me end up I'm a cameras blur a lot of water coming in up there it's actually looks better without the big lot and then be sure we've been here already not in this one but close by some kind of structure back there anything all right he likes to talk one see what's back here looks like I'll be electrical panel to dust yeah just a wall they had all the little stuff ones [Applause] [Applause] we love through that earlier [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] Wow in front of us is who use mound of dirt Burton rock whether you look up how perfectly round this is it looks to me like it's caved in tell wonders if it might be naturally done or man-made it just looks like the layer that layer gave way seen okay you don't yeah it does CK's have circular motions like yet in their natural caverns so I convinced yeah he parents on the banging back here early no I talked wood on rock it was like a squeaky sound like something's about to give away if anyone knows while these chambers were built like yes please let me know we walk through those right there kind of this one here way back at place where we come from where we entered and expected another entrance back this way places then less gas [Applause] person could get lost in here that is for sure this looks way more decayed and rubley over here in other parts of the mind [Applause] a whistle one of y'all whistle did one of y'all whistle I just heard a whistle guys if you heard that please comment down below [Applause] there's another exit going out into the woods thanks oh sorry yes I just hurt well I thought was a 4-wheeler gentleman guys I keep hearing a whistling sound tell them somewhere [Applause] mere tail [Applause] dad that's very talking we've went our way to the end that's for sure when you get back over there so we can go down a little farther and get back into the get past with the water and as I said back around interact so we're searching these rooms here check this out up here I'm guessing some kind of ventilation helps look into the hole there's a mushroom 7 863 smoke painted ad oh that scared me over on the wall that's the Patrick and there's fans in here look that fan yeah this is definitely a ventilated these were ventilated room was first I'm sure it had something to do with the mushrooms [Applause] big black bag laying on the floor we went down this next one over here we haven't been down these [Applause] this is the popular spots where people were tagged stuff [Applause] it looks it says make America great again it almost looks like a brofist hashtag pewdiepie bro fist says that's the glory hole it definitely could be pencil yeah I thought I heard something but I wasn't sure yeah with no outside light coming in I bet it would be pretty creepy just if you see anything in there right I'll go look at these others looks like some I have another fire in here back to the right there guys that's right right [Applause] [Applause] nothing here I've already been in this room there's a busted-up turtley though came from that platform yep we're back over here guys this is the last section we just get to explore the watery pit over there yeah for a good time call Billy yeah this is where we went ahead cuz right back at ways of water there's a bunch of debris over here yes looks like it goes a little deeper yeah that's what I say in earlier when y'all work with me this looks like much more decayed over here okay far down that way it goes because we're not done yet shoot it does let's go check it out much electrical stuff laying here it does look like a big art play get closer to it guys as I think we found a way behind the so called lake to go farther in and we work late baby because that's just a big pile of rocks no there it look like a big art way going into another section [Applause] this is a huge section we got left I thought about Phil oh it does let's go down here a little bit yes forepaugh about perhaps one of the other miss the end right there let's go this way this goes what did we just find here Tim an interest another length looks pretty big in there so it's dangerous as heck I'll look at the Mario mushroom on the wall over there [Applause] okay took us back around this way so this next section should be where the what we thought was an archway [Applause] [Music] yep that's exactly what it is looks like they just stuck called a buncha oh shoot there's a hole oh damn we found something interesting interests all right he's having a hard time okay where they burned all the tires what really this one is sorry guys I'm trying to climb up this teak little Bank anything cool over ray if y'all want see what looks something I like to kick sideways it is weird and cool like I feel they need you here yeah it's definitely an entrance it's been filled in it's wild [Applause] looks like somebody's [ __ ] right other boots okay I like doing this look at the mystery back here guys you can't see anything [Applause] [Applause] while digging it is very date weird guys this place was incredible I'm like a kid in the candy store in here I could stay here all day but we got other places to get to so we got to go we're gonna wrap it up right here I really hate we could not find the altar but we found the so called
