this wonderful week and we have to just remember to to just bring him into this place wherever you are to worship christ our lord [Music] we have come into his house gathered in his name to worship him we have come into [Music] this in his name to worship him we have come into his house gathered in his name to worship christ [Music] welcome to the market street church we are so glad you decided to tune in for this worship experience we're going to begin with a word of prayer father we thank you for bringing us to the end of another week so that we can worship you for bringing us through we ask god that you show up in this moment that that we experience you like we have never experienced you before that we know you better after today we ask god that you move in people's houses in their living rooms and their kitchens and their cars as you move in this sanctuary with the very few that are here we ask god that we experience and feel your presence and that it will fill us for eternity thank you god for this moment and i ask that you please guide us and help us to worship you in spirit and in truth in jesus name i pray amen amen so forget about yourself and concentrate on him said unto me let us go into the house of the lord we are looking forward to the day when we all are together again that's july the 3rd july the 3rd our doors will be open and we will be looking for every last one of you we know you've been watching us on live stream from sap to seven for the last years and a half and we're looking forward to july the 3rd when everybody can come back and gather together and we can worship him jesus christ our lord together we want to welcome you to the market street southern adventist church 934th street oakland california what a blessing it is to be able to worship our lord and savior jesus christ we thank god for his holy spirit that speaks to us and guide us and direct us and make sure that we make our calling and election sure and so we're grateful today as you join in with us today we have special announcement that we're going to share at this time we have some special announcement that we would like to share with you at this time number one we want to remind you about the the northern california conference african-american urban ministry conference is going to be october the 8th and the 9th uh engage in the vision and we'll be doing live stream and we all score also are going to be we're going to do a hundred and a hundred let's say we don't know what you're saying pastor we're going to have a certain amount there and we're going to have a certain amount on live stream we're going to be at and we're going to be worshiping together and so we're looking forward to that day make sure that you uh watch the announcements as we get closer and closer to that time and our next announcement is we have a big business meeting tomorrow at 10 o'clock may the 23rd 2021 at 10 a.m uh and please join us on zoom you see the number there and church we're grateful today to as we have some special awards today and we just when we do that i want to do one thing we just want to get our birthday people out of the way i don't know about you but mason wiggum celebrated his birthday this week and alexander is celebrating her birthday next week i think we just about got everybody else and we want to make sure that we always remember those who are having birthdays and this is the month of may and well i think we covered everyone else so my praise team and my musician y'all ready to sing let's sing together our birthday song happy birthday to you a happy birthday we celebrated happy birthday to you happy birthday to you today happy birthday happy birthday you know um um now we just wanna we have some special announcements that's the time i'm gonna ask eldar elder elam if he would come and join me i'ma ask pastor willis if he would come and join me i'm going to ask uh elder lee johnson and sister jackie johnson if they will come go uh this is one of those uh what you call a a mixed uh a mixed event uh i am both happy and sad at the same time anybody ever have that uh conflict and feelings yeah yeah uh well i have one of those conflicts and feelings um i am happy and glad uh that i have my dear friends lee and jackie johnson in the house yes uh and i um i'll take them separate uh elder lee johnson if i may say elderly johnson is has been a right-hand elder yeah uh as head elder there are certain elders that you know you can lean on that you can depend on that you know when they say yes their yes means yes well that is elderly johnson that's right elderly johnson and when i need advice elder lee johnson uh let me transition to the better half as us men always recognize the better half of us that's right it's the softer side and i'd like to talk about jackie johnson jackie johnson has been a pillar if i can say that at pillar uh with our children in sabbath school yes uh she has taken the lead she's taken the ore she has led them guided them and a lot of times she did it almost by herself and so i i remember when i first became a sabbath school superintendent uh and jackie sought me out and said elder we need this and we need that and we need this she was expecting a fight and i said well sister whatever you need the answer is yes just give me a list and we will work on that list because i learned long time ago when you have a willing worker the last thing you need to do is be an obstacle that's right and so i wanted to make it as easy as possible and she has never disappointed she's always over exceeded my expectations and so the sad part they are leaving uh this vineyard for another vineyard and and we know god has many vineyards yeah and and i know that where they're going they are going to light that place up so from the board of elders i would like to extend a warm cordial and loving embrace to our brother elder lee johnson and from sabbath school see i'm getting two hugs today i don't know about you but for sabbath school i i'm telling you there's no way i could have been superintendent for however many years or been in the lead of adult sabbath school without jackie johnson there's no way no way when when they talk about a solid foundation that is that that's the epitome of jackie johnson i appreciate her uh words fail me now but all i can do is as my wife taught me when words fail you just hug the sister thank you thank you so much i am next month my wife and i would have been serving here for two years and uh we are thankful that even though we didn't get to see you all in your heyday for children's ministry that your ministry has lasted all of our kids know dexter all of our kids remember children's story at learning from the feet of youtube and uh from children's ministry we just wanted to say thank you for the ministry you've done thank you for the legacy you've established and also for children's sabbath school as the youth pastor uh i would make a point to try and get to sabbath school at least youth sabbath school but during this pandemic the struggle has been how can i be there and set up here so i haven't been able to get to sabbath school but i know without a doubt sabbah school is happening because of your ministry sister jackie johnson so we thank you so much and something the church doesn't know because a lot of the ministry they do does goes unnoticed because they'll never know how much you really put into it and i just want to say that this packed acronym we have positive alert compassionate and dependable that came from them and we have kept it going strong so we are thankful that you have let god use you in ministry here and uh even though it is a goodbye it is never forever because we look forward to the day when all the kids you ministered to when this church body was able to be at the throne of jesus stars in our crowns because of the ministry we did here so thank you all so much i got one last last but not least you know the good news is this is that i know where they're going i pastored in that area uh preach the most of all the churches in that area they're gonna uh it's gonna be a blessing for the memphis area that's gonna receive them now we're gonna miss them now you know i'm gonna miss them a little bit more than y'all because they family to me uh most of you don't know that that elder johnson his brother is married to my wife's sister so they're family you know so i'm gonna really miss him you know and and so when the family found out that that paul and i was coming here sister our first lady uh was and i was coming here they were saying well you're going to be with family you know you'll be taken care of and so it's been a blessing to be able to not only be their pastor but be their their their friend you know we're not we're not you know we're not just past the relationship we've been friends and we've been family for a long time and so it's been a blessing i'm going to miss them our pastor uh not that far from where they're moving to and uh and we and and we have many stories i'm going to see them and you know you know y'all going away we're going to still stay in contact and so church here's the blessing part this is for you this is for your wife and this is for both of y'all now now y'all need to know that these checks came from from the elders from cyber school and also from youth ministry amen come on put our hand together all right thank you all right love you love y'all [Music] so a lot of firsts here at market street a lot of first i was married we were married here at market street i met my wife but i found my wife together here at market street praise the lord our children were received their uh baby blessings here at market street saying my first solo here at market street the saying is home is where the heart is our hearts right here our hearts right here so market street will always be home god bless you we love you we love you so much and we'll stay in touch by the way i had a talk with dexter and dexter said is it okay if if i just stay and i said you know we're going to he said can i just stay i want to stay with the marcus street kids and i said dexter you do that and you keep on ministry so dexter is staying right here thank you market street it has been fabulous being a part of this family and no matter where we've gone to no matter what church we've been members of market street was always home to me and like he said there were so many firsts for us here market street is where i met so many wonderful women that mentor to me as a young wife and a young mother and i just really appreciate all of you for everything you've done for us as a couple a family and we're leaving our children so keep them in prayer invite them to church no they probably don't want to hear that but do but um you know because the children are staying behind we will be back to visit frequently so we love you marcus street and thank you so much i just i'd be remiss if i didn't say thank you to the board of elders for all they've done for me from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for the pastoral staff and certainly each and every one of you you know i had a sermon one time uh the the road to the crosses it was a story about the good samaritan and i needed an example of what a good samaritan was in that sermon and market street you were that example you are the good samaritan thank you continue your ministry we love you [Music] once again we want to thank elder lee and jackie johnson for being here today as we celebrate as they are leaving this area we're going to the memphis tennessee area god be with them god protect them god sustain them i just want to share a thought with you the life of the church as the praise team come depends on the interests its members manifest in those outside of the fold i'm going to say that again the life of the church depends on the entrance its members manifest in those been to me if you still have life in your bones if you've got breath in your lungs you can't tell me god ain't great thank you praise team he has been great to me he's been great to us he's been great to you derek he's been great to us how great he is oh lord oh lord have mercy on me [Music] how great he has been to me internalize that be selfish for a moment think about what god has done for you today what has he done for you during this pandemic i mean you you've ate you've had shelter you you have your health i mean god is great and worthy to be praised and i tell you we're going to praise him anyhow up in here and i hope there's some praising going on with you at uh cause i can tell you i can hardly contain myself this morning but it's prayer time and what good is a great god if he if he don't want to hear from you what good is a great god if he doesn't want to hear from you well our great god wants to hear from you all the time and we take time in our worship service to have a season of prayer where we lift up those who are in need of prayer where we thank him we don't thank him enough i don't i almost keep we out of out of my mouth i don't thank him enough but we're going to pray to our great god this morning we're going to bend knees and lower our hearts and come to him in a season of prayer we've got a list of those that we'd like to lift up and those of you at home though i can't hear you and jot down the name of your loved one or your neighbor your co-worker your friend you know their name so as i'm praying speak those names out and again we're talking about a great god he's here he's where you are he's everywhere so he hears all so bring your petitions to him so if i can invite you to kneel where you are and bring a humble heart with you as we approach the throne of grace oh great god in heaven lord i thank you so much for all that you've done for us this past second this past year you lord thank you lord thank you lord lord we come to you lord with humble heart but with great expectation you promised lord to never leave nor forsake us you promise to be with us always lord we're claiming that promise lord because there are some of us lord going through some things we may feel alone and the evil one may even whisper oh he's left you now but that's a lie you are with us lord in the storm you are with us in the storm and i ask lord in the name of jesus according to your great will when it's time to stand up in the boat and tell the waves to behave and tell the wind to go go another way lord i ask a special prayer over the allen family a house fire lord i ask that you will be with her mom and comfort her be with the reed family be with deacon armstrong and his family i know his grandsons are always on his heart lord i i i i pray a special prayer for his grandsons lord be with taiwan and the blackman family charles shepherd pauline and be with our sister elder beverly thompson lord continue lord being with john fernando and miguel jones be with the families that are grieving the loss of loved ones lord be with those incarcerated those addicted lord be with them lord we ask lord for the outpouring of your holy spirit that it will pierce that stony heart and change it into flesh i pray lord under the sound of my voice lord that you will infuse compassion and love in all of us lord this world is lacking compassion this world is lacking love but one day and one day soon a great god in heaven our jesus christ will come through the clouds of glory and reclaim those who claim him it's my prayer that we all claim him lord be with your man servant this afternoon as he stands behind this desk to break the bread of life to a hungry nation lord i pray lord that you will speak through him that you will be with him throughout that you will cause his mind to focus on things that you direct him and that he will not hold back lord we just thank you lord for the upcoming opening july 3rd i ask that you will you will bless it that you will be in the plans of it and that all will be done decent and in order lord bless this market street bless its pastors pastor brown and pastor willis bless us all lord as we prepare for uh corporate worship july 3rd lord i ask these things knowing my unworthiness but i ask these things covered in the blood of your son jesus in the name of jesus with the forgiveness of our series today we're going to learn about the shield of faith and the sword of scripture so let's get ready for our story right now all right so let's talk about the sword and shield the shield represents faith faith is when you hope and believe in something that you haven't seen but you know to exist the sword represents scripture or the bible faith and scripture separate are powerful but together it's unstoppable there was a little boy who had his best friend and they were always together they were inseparable they loved the same movies the same video games they laughed at the same jokes they played the same sports they were the best of friends in fact when they were in school together one had to sit on this side of the classroom the other had to sit on the other side of the classroom and when one spoke the whole class looked the other way thinking that the others spoke because they even sounded alike they were the best of friends they were always together separately they were good in school they enjoyed video games they enjoyed sports they still laughed at the same jokes but together oh man they helped each other with their schoolwork to do the best they could on their homework uh together they had the best time playing video games they they could beat any level together they were unstoppable uh playing sports together it was amazing together and i'm sure you have some friends that you are always together with that are your best friends you love the same movies the same jokes the same video games the same sports even and separately you all are okay but together you're unstoppable in fact the pandemic separated you and you weren't able to spend as much time with your best friend as you wanted to but that first time you got to see them again that first time that you all were back in school together it was as if you picked up where you left off like no time had passed because you were back together with your best friend well just like you with your best friend the sword and shield together are unstoppable separately they're fine you know you can have faith and be powerful you can have scriptures and be powerful but when you have faith and scripture together oh you're unstoppable see a person on the battlefield a soldier if he just had a shield so he could defend himself and he'd be okay but he may not win the battle because all he had was defense all he had was something to defend himself with but a soldier with a sword oh man that soldier could attack and do all that he could with the sword and he was powerful but he could only do so much and he couldn't defend himself all he could do was attack but if a soldier had both a shield and a sword oh together that would be unstoppable he could defend and he could attack faith is powerful the bible is powerful when you have the bible but have no faith then they're just good words in a good book see when you have faith but no bible then you can just believe in any and everything but when you have faith and the bible together your faith with the word gives you some unstoppable power your word your bible with faith gives you unstoppable power we are soldiers in god's army and in order to fight in the battle we have to be dressed with the full armor of god and that includes faith and scripture the shield and sword together let's pray that we put these two things together and become an unstoppable force for god let's pray father help us to have faith and the bible to have the sword and the shield together so that we can be unstoppable for you in this world in um i was sitting there thinking about elder jackie and lee johnson leaving you know what it's just it seemed like when you have been around people so long that when you begin to get attached to them it's like you can't leave it's like it's like when your kids grow up and it's time for them to leave home you know you don't want them to go we thank god for their ministry i know that where they're going they're going to be a blessing not only to their family but to those in that community we thank god for them serving the market street church what a blessing they have been to not only to our church but to our community and you've heard people outside of our church even talking about the ministry of the two of them and so i don't know about you those are you that missed the presentation and today we're celebrating and giving respect to elder lee and jackie johnson as this is their last sabbath here in the bay area with us and and so we ask them that you keep them in prayer as they drive across country as they move across country ask god for their protection build the vehicle as they travel across country and god protect them most of all that god be with them in a mighty way and you know here we say goodbyes but one day we won't have to say any goodbyes because we'll all be in heaven we all we all be in heaven today i want to talk to you about a sermon that so many has asked that we would be willing to speak on since we have been dealing with the revelation seminar several asks well i want to hear about the seven last plagues and so today we're going to share with you the seven last plagues of revelation and we thank god that that soon and very soon our lord and savior will come let us pray father we thank you that you've been so good to us you've been better than that as the song's saying as we look back over our lives the last year and a half and how you have brought us through this pandemic and here we are still standing still giving you praise instead of giving you honor and giving you glory not because of something we have done but because of what your son jesus have done for us and so we're grateful we're grateful today lord we ask now that you will hide your servant behind the cross that jesus may be lifted high because he said if i be lifted up from the earth then i would draw all men unto me continue to allow your holy spirit to have his way as he convicts hearts and minds and as individuals are making their minds up to follow you every step of the way and we'll be careful to give you the praise give you an honor give your glory in the name of jesus we pray amen and amen the seven plagues of revelation seven plagues of revelation suppose that you were driving down a dark road and you were on your way home even on the interstate and all of a sudden seven red lights start flashing all in front of you all across the highway you know one of the things that you're going to do is you're going to stop you're gonna pull over and you're gonna wonder what's going on well the bible give us seven plagues that will fall upon the face of this earth one day god tells us god's people that in babylon are going to be called out to be free from sin and safe from the seven last plagues you see revelation focusly clearly shows us the issue from the bible and i'm so grateful that that we serve a god who loves us so much and cares so much about us that he is willing to make sure that we understand these seven last plagues the bible says in the book of revelation revelation chapter 15 and i'm going to read verse 1 through 7 to you revelation chapter 15 verses 1 through 7. revelation chapter 15 verses 1 through 7. the bible says this and i saw another sign in heaven great and marvelous seven angels having the seven last plagues for in them is filled up the wrath of god verse two i saw as he were a sea of glass mingled with fire and then they had gotten the victory over the beasts and over his image and over his mark and over the numbers of his name stand on the sea of glass having the hearts of god and they sung the song of moses the servant of god and the song of the lamb saying great and marvelous are thou works lord god almighty just and true are thy ways thou king of saints who shall not fear thee oh lord and glorify thy name for thou only art holy for all nations shall come and worship before thee for thy judgments are made manifest verse 5 and at that look and behold the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened and the seven angels came out of the temple having the seven plagues clothed in pure and white linen and having their breasts girded with golden girdles and one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vows full of the wrath of god who lived forever and ever here we find in the book of revelation we talk about the wrath of god the wrath of god what are the seven plagues called in revelation chapter 15 verse one you just heard me read that having the seven plagues for in them is filled up the wrath of god you see the seven last plagues are called the wrath of god the wrath of god his strange act punishment for the wicked the wrath of god so in the last three-point message of love and and wanting for the world is found in revelation chapter 14 verse 6 through 12 and you've heard me read these passages of scripture to you where the bible says and i saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel which means the good news of jesus christ everlasting gospel which means here is is when related to god indicates that there is time no more that all love everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth into every nation and kindred tongue and people and you've heard me say we are not a nation we are not a kindred we are not a tongue but we are a people the bible says saying with a loud voice fear god and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come and worship him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of water and there followed another angel said babylon has fallen it's fallen that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication and the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worship the beast and his image and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of god that's that word again which is poured out without mixture and through the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb and the smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest day nor night who rush up the beast and his image and whosoever receive it the mark of his name but verse 12 pins these words here is the patience of the saints here are they that keep his commandments and have what the faith of jesus christ what two punishments are mentioned for the wicked in revelation chapter 14 verse 10 you just heard me read that is what a drink of the wine of the wrath of god is tormented with what fire and brimstone the amazing thing about this fire and brimstone is that the fire and brimstone was set aside for the devil and his angel it was not set aside for mankind but if we find ourself when christ come and we have not allowed god to remove sin from our life if sin is still in our lives when christ come the wrath of god will fall on us and we will find ourselves in the midst of the seven last plays see my brothers and sisters the wrath of god the seven plagues it's for those who receive the mark of the beast divine judgment upon sinners that's why you hear me say it so many times that when christ come he's coming to save us from our sins not to save us in our sins so as we study the bible and as we study and as we move forward we say who will escape the plagues who will escape the plagues in revelation chapter 15 verse 2 you heard me read them that have gotten the victory over the beasts and over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name this passes makes clear how extremely important it is to avoid receiving the mark of the beast everyone will receive one or two marks other either you're gonna have god's mark which is placed in your forehead or you're gonna have the mark of the beast which is placed in your forehead and in your hand and someone asked the question why in the forehead well you know better but refuse to do better you understand the word of god as pastor willis said you have faith but you don't have the word and you have the word and don't have faith you know what he just said but you got to have what both in order to be saved by god and so here the bible says because they know better but they refuse to do better they refuse to accept god as their personal savior and follow what he said keep the commandments in god and have what the faith of jesus christ and so and and when it and their hand they know not to work on god's holy sabbath day but they go and work anyway so god said you're going to have a mark in your hand so then my brothers and sisters we continue to move forward who do the who do the same praise of whom do the saved praise for their deliverance in revelation chapter 15 verse three and four you heard me read this it says great and marvelous all thy works lord god almighty salvation is through our lord and savior jesus christ you can't get to the father you got to go through jesus because jesus says i and my father are one you see the victor the victors redeem uh are singing the victory song why the song of moses and the song of the lamb jesus our savior you see time is running out on this earth time is running out as elder eden uh in his prayer pointed out that that we are living in the last days and as these pearlescent times are coming we need to look up and call on our lord and save your jesus christ soon plagues will fall on this earth and i will say to you don't get it twisted don't get it mixed up this pandemic was not a plague oh yes it was it was a it was it was a worldwide situation but it was not one of these plagues the bible is very clear about the seven last plagues salvation door closes you hear me talk about that salvation door closes when will the pledge begin to fall so you can understand that this pandemic was not one of the plagues when will the plagues begin to fall in revelation chapter 15 verse 8. i didn't read that text to you because i wanted you to hear it right now it says the temple was filled with smoke the temple was what everybody filled with smoke from the glory of god i'm going to read the whole text and from his power and no man was able to enter into the temple till the seventh plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled so very clear so those of us that that that have gone out saying that that this pandemic that this that this virus or coronavirus was one of the plagues i've heard it so many times no it was not the plagues have not come yet praise god no man able to enter the temple and we're talking about the temple in heaven because remember the temple now jesus in 1844 went from the most holy went from the holy place into the most holy place and so it is talking about the temple where jesus is right now in heaven indicate that the judgment which is now in progress there are ends because every case has been decided then the seven last plagues fall on this earth you see plans begin after every case has been decided you heard me talk about the judgment the three faces of the judgment you heard me talk about that go back and look at the last sermon i preached on the on the three faces of the judgment but here the bible says that when that when the the judgment books are closed right here and jesus is in the temple and everything is fulfilled then the plagues will fall how do you know that let's go to the next slide what announcement will jesus make that will indicate that the heavenly judgment has ended in the book of revelation chapter 22 verse 11 and 12 the bible penned these words he that is unjust let him be unjust still he which is filthy let him be filthy still he that is righteous let him be righteous still and he that is holy let him be what holy steel in other words in other words when the judgment ends in heaven jesus make an announcement that all people have made their decision and that none will ever choose to change you see under the pledge you can't you can't accept christ then your seal is already sealed it is too late all that moment probation for all people close forever each person has closed his own problem or probation by his own choice that's amazing to me you see god's word has been presented and if you don't respond to the leading of the holy spirit your name will be removed from the lamb's book of life and remember what jesus said to the disciples in luke chapter 9 and luke chapter 10 he said and they came back said we cast out devils we healed the sick we raised the dead and jesus said to them don't glory in that he said glory that your name is written in the book of life because if you go back and look at that particular passage of scripture judas was in there too but when you read let on he was he hung himself so what am i saying to you today in revelation chapter 22 verse 19 the bible says if any if any man take away from the words of this prophecy of this book god shall take away his part out of the book of life revelation 22 19 says this don't jeopardize your salvation the holy spirit wants to lead you into all truth it comes a time my brothers and sisters when you and i cannot stand on tradition you know mama did it daddy did it and i'm going to continue to do it no if god is is not walking in that way you must walk where god walks you must follow christ my brother and sister no second chance go back to the slide no second chance what are you saying preacher sometimes illness or disease clarifies a person's thinking and causes him to turn to god in the case of the plagues however no one will be converted what did i say in the case of the plagues nobody is going to be converted when the plagues fall you've already been sealed either you on god's side are you on the devil's side what purpose does god have in sending the plagues then well in revelation chapter 16 verse 10 11 and 21 i'm going to read verse 11. revelation chapter 16 verse 11 says this and they blasphemed the god of heaven because of their pains and their souls but repented not of their deeds did you hear that blaspheme the god of heaven but would not repent the purpose of the plagues is to reveal the entire universe that god's decision was accurate and just the wicked are sealed in rebellion the righteous are sealed in love i'm going to say it again the wicked are sealed in rebellion and the righteous are sealed in love that's why he penned his words if you love me you will keep my commandments you are sealed in love in other words love is what drives you to do what is right love is the reason why you love god and you love mankind the ten commandments are based on love the first four a love toward god the last six or the last five are loved toward man because the fifth one is love on both sides so then my brothers and sisters as we look at this situation here god's plagues pronounce punishment so if you want to know where we are know the plagues have not fallen tell your friends no we're not in the midst of a plague because we was in the midst of a plague you would be running to the mountains or to the rocks because and i'm going to show you something here today as we look at this how long will the plagues last revelation chapter 18 verse 8. revelation chapter 18 verse 8 says the place therefore shall therefore shall her place become in one day well when we read in the bible and when we study ezekiel chapter 4 verse 6 you know and we understand one prophetic day equals one literal year you know we talked about that um as we have been going through this lesson the wicked all over the earth are tested to see if possible any would change in other words we'll repent but not one does god was just in every case so when the plagues begin to fall people are not going to change they're going to be the same so what are you saying then preacher well let's go to keep on going what are god's acts of punishment at judgment called in the book of isaiah chapter 28 verse 21 the bible says it is a strange work it is a strange act in other words acts the punishment and judgment like the plagues are so foreign to god nature that the bible calls them strange he has no pleasure in the death of the wicked he will however my brothers and sisters not at all uh acquit the wicked or clearly guilty why do i say that because he loves us he he allows us to make our own trust you know what amazes me when when someone tries to force somebody else to do something god don't even do that but here the line is going to be drawn soon and very soon either we're going to be on god's side or we're going to be on satan's side no middle ground no middle ground my brothers and sisters so then as we continue what is the first plague in revelation chapter 16 verse 2 the bible says in the first went and pulled out his vow upon the earth and there fell an awesome and grievous sore grievous saw upon the men which had the mark of the beast and among them which worshipped his image a grievous soul you see each plague strikes a blow at some aspect of false worship or apostate religion this plague exposes the false miracle workers they cannot cure this plague you see the scientists won't be able to go into the lab and and put together some formula for you to take a shot and get healed and then you can take your mass off because when you go to the scientist he gonna have to play it too so when you actually see this the religion of the wicked what they worship did not build character and the wicked are not able to avoid the plague what are you saying preacher no more so-called faith healing you know you see people on tv hitting folks upside the head and saying heal and they fall back and somebody catch them and and now they're healed and they can walk well it's going all of that is going to come to an end because the person who's going to be trying to do the hitting is also going to have to play nobody is going to be around look at what look let's keep going let's keep going let's keep going next a norseman's and grievous soul the bible goes on and says what happens during the second plague revelation 16 and verse 3 the bible says in revelation 16 verse 3 it says it says and the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea and it became as the blood of dead men and every living soul died in the sea here the nations they a united worldwide movement which forced people to worship contrary to the conscience and suddenly find a commence and communication that's disrupted by this bloody water this plague my brothers and sisters demonstrates that god's feeling is uh regarding this evil that is upon the face of this earth the tables have turned now the great persecuting power finds this big worldwide organization no longer effective in other words the final struggle in this world will not be atheism against democracy it would be up from religious conflict between truth and counterfeit religion and russia that's what we're gonna see here in this play and so as we go on for the next play what is the third plague in revelation chapter 16 4-7 says and the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters and they became blood and i heard the angel of water say thou art righteous o lord which are and was and shall be because thou has judged us for they have shed the bloods of saints and prophets and thou has given them blood to drink for they are worthy verse 7 says and i heard i heard another out of the altar say even so lord god almighty true and righteous are thy judgment so here this play my brothers and sisters this plague the rivers and fountains of water became blood the wicked labor god's people heretics and many doubtless feel that to shed their blood would do god a favor god however to show his feeling turn fresh drinking water into blood when they turn on their faucets blood comes out when they tell on a faucet to take a bath blood comes out everything in the house the water turns to blood since they were willing to persecute god's people god said i'm gonna give you blood to drink but you know in isaiah chapter 33 verse 16 it says when blood comes out of the faucets for the wicked god's people will be given fresh water i say amen did you hear that god's children will be drinking fresh clean pure water while the rest while the wicked will be drinking blood let's continue on as we deal with these plagues here today what takes place during the fourth plague in revelation 16 89 the bible says this it says man was scorched with great heat scorched with great heat you see the sun which men have worshiped throughout history will scorch men with great heat even today in the christian world the majority still pay homage to the sun the s-u-n and not the s-o-n and giving reference to the sunday worship sunday worship came from worshiping the sun in the sky so god says that this this plague this this fourth plague is going to represent worshipping the sun the s-u-n not the s-o-n and men will be scorched with great heat the sun is no longer an object to russia all the pleasures are gone only pain god's honor and protest his loyal followers during this play they are going to be scorched all with the mark of the beast receive this plague so then as we continue to look forward to the fifth angel pouring out his plague upon the seat of the beast what happens in revelation 16 10-11 the bible says this his kingdom was full of darkness his kingdom was full of darkness in other words no more pretending no more satanic power what you see is what you get total spiritual darkness nothing to offer anyone but defeat and death the word of god brings light the beast's power who rejects god's light must now endure total darkness total darkness upon this world and so as we continue on as we keep to continue to go forth the battle of army getting number 15 says what happens under the sixth plague when the angel pours out his vial upon the great river euphrates revelation chapter 16 12-16 and i have to read this in revelation chapter 16 12-16 it says and the sixth angel poured out his vow upon the great river euphrates and the waters therefore was dried up that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared and i saw three unclean like spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beasts and out of the mouth of the false prophets verse 14 says and they are the saints and they are the spirits of devils for they are the spirits of devil working miracles which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of god almighty and behold i come as a thief blessed is he that watches look and keepeth his garment lest he walk naked and he see his shame verse 16 and he gathered them together into a place called in the hebrew tongue armed beginning here the bible is very clear about this passage of scripture here the drying up of the river of euphrates here this is talking about in old babylon was well we're situated upon the euphrates river in jeremiah chapter 51 and verse 12 well cyrus uh the commander-in-chief of the median persian uh armies damn up the river which floored beneath the city wall and when they took over babylon are y'all with me now and and here you find that the water uh prophecy represent people but then the bible also talks about drying up the of the water of euphrates means that the support of the people who are followers of satan kingdom which is spiritual babylon will be dried up delusion they'll part company with their leaders in other words they're going to walk away from their leaders and the literal drain up of the river takes place under the extreme heat of the fourth plague and so when we see this it's going to be chaos between the leaders and their people because they're going to see well why didn't you tell us why don't you explain this to us and so they're going to turn on one another and then and when it talks about the king of the east the bible talks about the king of the east is talking about jesus christ and his angels when they are coming because because christ comes christ is getting ready to come and this is referred to christ and the three unclean spirits from the mouth of the beast and the dragon and the false prophet the beast is papacy it makes it clear that the false prophets is fallen also protestant church which is pictured in revelation 13 11 through 17 all this is coming to an end and here the bible is explaining explains it to us what's getting ready to happen and so when you read this passage of scripture the water there therefore was dried up and he gathered them together into a place called armageddon here we find in this passage now ungodly alliance are falling apart they have been drawn together by satanic miracles so they received the fruit of their rebellion the fruit of their rebellion and so then my brothers and sisters the second coming of jesus take place under the seventh plague that's why you need to know that that's why we're not in a play because in other words christ will be getting ready to come but on the seventh plague christ comes in the second pla in his seventh plague what two devastating unheavily nature takes place at this time in revelation chapter 16 verse 17 through 21 the bible says this in revelation chapter 16 starting with verse 17 and it says and the seven angel put out his violet into the air and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven from the throne saying it is done in other words it's over it is done and verse 18 says and there were voices and thunder and lightning and there was a great earthquake such as was not since men were upon the upon the earth so mighty an earthquake and so great verse 19 says and the great city was divided into three parts and the cities of the nation fell and great babylon came in remembrance before god to give unto her the cup of the wine of his fierceness of his wrath verse 20 says and every island fled away until mountains were not found in other words islands was gone and the mountains fell but verse 21 says this and that fell upon me in a great hell out of heaven every stone of the weight of a talent now talent is a hundred pounds and men blasphemed god because of the plagues of the hill for the plagues there are were exceeding great so when we see this my brothers and sisters when we see this particular one uh as we go to the screen again the bible says there was a great earthquake see they building these bridges and call them earthquake proof well on that day it don't make any difference they're going to fall anyway you can't you can't make anything earthquake proof from god the slot also says this it says this and there fell upon me in a great hell out of heaven well when you read the bible and when you understand the bible uh hell is real is real with each stone weighing more than a hundred pounds and you know the thing is the bible talks about that in job chapter 38 verse 22 and 23 that god would punish punish those with with with hell now i've seen hell as big as a golf ball uh but i've never seen hell that much bigger than that now i've been in a situation and seen hell as big as a golf ball but on that day held is going to be as big as 100 pounds that it would kill people and so as we continue on just think of god's great love he protects his people through all of this on evil and chaos god's children are going to be protected i don't know that well during the sixth plague what happens to the babylon 3-4 alliance of the beasts and false prophets and dragon in revelation 16 19 i kind of went over there and the great city was divided into three parts okay but god's people god protects his people that's where i want to go let's get to the part where you want to hear because you god's children amen amen it says in moses day god sent ten plagues upon the egyptians how were god's people protected from the death angel of the earth plagues in exodus 20 exodus 12 7-13 all right it says they shall what take of the blood and strike it on the what two side posts so on that day when they were eating the passover lamb which represented christ they took the blood of the lamb and put it on what outside their house on the doorpost so then how we're going to be protected on that day here's the key and when i see the blood our what passover so what blood is gonna protect god's children during the seven last plague christ is saying that that blood must be in our heart i'm gonna say it again he is saying he's not going to be on no dope pose it's got to be on your heart so when he see the blood on your heart that's why that's why the bible says if you love me you're going to keep my commandments why because it comes from what not only from the head but it comes from the heart that's why people say uh you know uh uh uh that's why you hear these different sins when it refers to the heart and so here we find out that god is looking for a heart relationship with him and so when we keep on going let me get to the end of this how will god's people overcome during the seven last plague revelation 12 11 says this they overcame them by what the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony so then my brothers and sisters the book of revelation contains god's last imperative message for planet earth what did god say he would do to anyone who tried to add anything to the book of revelation in revelation 22 18 the bible says god shall add unto him the place in other words if you take something out of it and if you put something in it god's going to add to your place what does god promise the righteous regard to the plagues in psalms 91 10. bible says neither shall any plague come now thy dwelling god says you won't even be touched by a plague goes on and says this what plan does god have to protect his people from the pledge not psalms 91 11 you would taught this text as a child for he shall give his angels charged over thee to keep thee in all thy ways in other words god said my i have protected angels angels of strength will come and protect you and cover you and make sure that you're going to be all right you're going to be drinking clear cold clear water while others are going to be drinking blood and his angels are going to protect you what wonderful promise regarding the time of the plagues is given to god's people in psalms 91 5 it said thou shall not be afraid isn't that something while the plagues are falling god's children won't even have to don't have to worry about a thing it won't even face them because they know that they have the seal of god so then jesus desperately wants to assign angels to protect you during the plagues the question is will you invite him to be your savior and lord so he can do so that's the question he is waiting with great anticipation for our answer you see the key is this here's the key it's right there he created us he redeemed us when he came and died on the cross if you can put that picture back up he created us he's interceding for us right now but remember i just told you today that when he says it's done he comes out and he said he that is unjust let him be unjust still he that is filthy let him be filtered still he that is righteous let him be righteous still he that is holy let him be holy still and if you read the next text and say and behold i come quickly and my reward is with me to give to everyone according to their works my brothers and sisters the seven last plagues are getting ready to fall on the face of this earth and the question is whose side are you on whose side are you on that's why it's so important for us to understand that you can't get caught up in tradition traditions won't save you you got to make your calling and election sure you got to make sure that you know where you stand [Music] you know christ is saying come out of her my people you talking about babbling the red babbler means confusion come out of her my people that you receive not of her plagues see christ is calling his children home you know as i was talking with the bible workers this week and listening to them and different people that they've been studying with and all the different ones that have made their mind up that they want to uh start all over again and and make a new life and go down into the watery grave you know today was a day that we supposed to had a a big celebration of baptism the real baptism means baptism to mean to go down and come up new you know death burial and resurrection of our lord and savior jesus christ and some of them said no i want to wait i want to hold on i want to hold off and study some more but you know time is running out time is running out you may not have enough time to wait to the day that you think you want to go down jesus says when you hear his voice harder not your heart you got to make your call in an election where is hot on the press where jesus is speaking to you where he's calling you by name you need to make sure that you're calling an election is sure you see these plagues are coming and if you haven't accepted christ as your personal savior if you're still walking on god's holy sabbath day if you're still doing all those things that you think you big enough to do christ is getting ready to come and he's about it he's at the door or something says he he's at the door he's just giving us more time to get ready my brothers and sisters i challenge you i challenge you you need to make your caller an election sure you need to say it's me it's me o lord standing in the need of prayer not my brother my sister it's me oh lord so today those of you that are listening through the airways you may be in your car it may be in your living room you might even be in your kitchen some of you might even be in your bedroom but wherever you are you need to pick up the phone and call that number the bible workers are waiting for your call and say hey my name is so-and-so my number is so-and-so my address is so and so and i want to make sure that i'm in that next baptism i don't want to take a chance of receiving those seven last plagues because if i received them i would be lost i don't want to be lost i want to walk streets of gold i want to see jesus for myself i want to be able to see that angel that has protected me all these years i want to be with god i want to see my father the heavenly father in heaven for the first time myself i want to be able to see the holy spirit for myself that's your desire you need to doubt 866 244 1844 and extension 4 and say it's me [Music] i'm coming home i'm coming home i want to come home and be with my lord and savior jesus christ today if you hear his voice pardon not your heart father god we thank you for the experience of our lord and savior jesus christ he loved us so much that he was willing to come and die in our place that we can live in his place he loved us so much that he's holding back the winds of strife so that we can give our lives totally to him oh god create within us a clean heart of god and renew a right spirit within us father whatever we stand in need of granted according to your will the will of your son jesus allow your holy spirit to bring conviction and conversion lord that as we look in our own lives lord and if we see any dirt on us lord help us to be willing to confess because you said if we confess our sins that you are faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness so today lord as we've heard those seven last plagues they not for us they for somebody else lord i rebuke that because i'm holding on to your unchanging hand lord i want to walk with you i want to talk with you i want to see you for myself so to god lord today lord as we extend this invitation to someone lord under the sound of my voice help them lord to make their calling and their elections sure in the name of the father name of the son name of the holy spirit we pray let's brother derek hall get ready to sing pick up the phone while he's singing down 866 244 1844 extension 4 reach out so that god can save you from your sins and not in your sins as derek says give me a claim heart so i may serve thee lord fix my heart so that i'm [Music] maybe [Music] the your blessings [Music] give me a claim [Music] [Music] continue to speak to us bring conviction and conversion we will make our calling and election sure oh god we ask that they create within us a clean heart and renew a righteous spirit within us give us that clean heart lord i know some of us say well pastor i'm already saved i'm already all of that but if god show you something that you need to get rid of be willing to let it go release it and let it go thank you lord thank you for the message today thank you for the opportunity to understand seven plagues of revelation that they will never fall on any of us under the sound of my voice in the
