Mario Odyssey but Gravity changes randomly

so my friend craftyboss sent me a challenge super mario odyssey but the gravity changes randomly every 30 seconds will i be able to beat it let's find out oh and if you enjoyed the video remember to straight up well we gotta get under something fast let's go um it's already counting down this is okay i can't move yet um go now i will say the game isn't designed for uh mario to have different gravities so um okay shift shift oh i died dang it i tried to survive there well uh okay goodbye i tried man i tried okay next gravity direction is west i do have a button to kill mario whenever i want so i'm probably going to do that just just we just need to get there aren't many walls in cab kingdom okay but anyways we're running we're running okay we're we're making it is it even possible we can get up there when we're like down is like this way uh but yeah the mario's animations aren't great because like i'm technically running up a really steep wall oh wait the gravity shifted oh wait i can work with this i can work with this i think wait oh i have an idea no oh damn it what there's a wall here i guess there you know what there is an invisible wall so you can't go further out than this but i never even thought that you could stand on it oh the gravity shifted again uh okay gravity direction is north uh once we get north actually wait wait a minute wait a minute i have an idea um this is so weird he's just hanging on for dear life yeah it's too steep it's too steep i can't run up this okay wait wait wait i can i can work with this i can work with this okay let's get tell me it's not up or backwards um first moon skip first moon skip wait a minute let's get the checkpoint okay into the boss fight two seconds no no no that's the wrong way no we can camp out here get into the boss fight like this this is gonna be a pretty steep wall but no no no no no we made it let's go uh which way is down which way is down okay wait we're on the wall this is fine just run gonna be hard to get isn't it uh how the heck are we gonna get up there uh wait wait okay wait let's get directly below this which direction is down this is straight down so straight up would be yeah yeah okay if i line myself up just right when the gravity switches we should hit it this looks right okay got it [Music] we could try and get a 2d moon wait it's down um uh we only have um wait i have think we can get this moon if i do this pop that bad boy open and then get the moon [Music] oh wait we can get this one get it stand yes yes [Music] let's go this should bring me to the stump uh is there any way i have an idea we can just stand on this stand on it stand on it yes and gravity shifts down there we go cascade is done you have a compass under your health oh yeah just uh just so you guys know the compass under my health is not accurate at all for whatever reason the game files have a different north south east and west than what the compass shows i don't know why but the compass is inaccurate it's shifting west which way is west oh oh this is actually quite convenient okay we're just going to grab this moon all right another moon on the way all right we have seven seconds we should be able to grab the story moon well that was easy okay [Music] speed run strands baby let's go it's faster than the world record does it think i can make it down there or up there side there oh crap oh no i didn't oh it shifted again can we get another moon uh wait wait oh wait walls are the floor i can run along this this is so confusing uh we only have four seconds left let's try and hit this before the gravity shifts uh okay never mind what can we get here now we can get this moon i think nice your brain hurts mine too uh yeah let's try and get the alcove moon that's such a good idea okay we're up on here we'll follow down into this okay we're gonna wall jump out of here because that's down i guess oh wait gravity's normal we have 30 seconds of peace the strangest wall jump ever dude how does this affect bosses you want to find out yeah we might be able to get on top of the pyramid here check this out because we're gonna fall down this way maybe we can oh no no no no it's baby okay wait i think the direction is down right now wait wait i have an idea i have an idea we'll let it shift naturally and then we can watch the cut scene and the cut scene will take about 30 seconds i think does the cutscene take 30 seconds we stalled out the up um okay oh yes yes we stalled it out wait we can go into a sub-area all right we're going in uh apparently west is this direction in the sub area jump this way there we go something that might not be obvious is how janky the controls on this thing are it's because it's like relative to where the camera is it's really weird no no no i'm not ready wait okay wait we can get a moon with this we can get a moon with this don't panic we jump up here okay we can get the moon now got the moon this is super mario odyssey but with super mario 64 camera angles yup okay let's get this one now don't miss it and land in the pipe don't miss it and land on the pipe come on got it can we make it into the eight 2d section before it turns yeah okay good we can wait it only affects the down section's gravity but the down section is up right now so i can't make it up oh my god you've got to be kidding me no what oh there's a ceiling what does this work this doesn't work okay it was worth a shot he's just doing his best all right okay what happens if we leave wait oh wait can we you think wait a minute uh there's supposed to be a boss fight here there's supposed to be a boss fight we're down for a second there we go i missed the trigger for the boss that's all it was okay we're fine we just gotta defeat this boss in oh 20 seconds two seconds well all right okay apparently i'm invincible wait this is now a hot tub stream he's looks so comfortable why does it bubble you're not supposed to be able to leave a all right uh we do need a few more moons i think yo wait a minute we're gonna go north and i'm gonna line myself up here because it's night sand we did unlock the painting to metro kingdom so we can just go to metro kingdom early and we can just gravity our way there right okay we're going let's go let's go we're in perfect timing wait wait we need to get under something and we need to get under something fast um oh god i think we're dead or are we yeah so where do we go then huh scourge on the skyscraper how about no yeah wait i wonder if i can use the scooter you think the scooter shifts gravity oh yeah we can't skip all the kingdoms because um oh oh god we can't skip kingdoms because the odyssey isn't here we have to unlock this kingdom normally okay i'm going to try and get the scooter bro scooters abnormal gravity except when you pick up a moon at ready for the most confusing thing ever boom what oh no no no i wasn't ready for that one okay uh um okay wait wait stop no stop it we're good we're fine this is gonna be so confusing whoa die good okay all right to the skies i believe there's a checkpoint up here right yeah this checkpoint but don't get in by accident okay who made this this was a crafty boss this is crappy boss's idea i didn't even come up with this crafty boss was like hey here you go fresh idea i was like hell yeah that's good okay a moment of peace a moment of peace in this chaos um we can probably get one more right we are we cannot get one more i need somewhere to hide under tell me this ledge is thick enough it is what no it's not i guess we can hide here yo mario that one looked like it hurt okay wait which way is west that way is west okay so if we jump this way i think we can get to that that one over there let's line ourselves up and see if we can make it don't really know how talking to pauline works when the gravity is all backwards but i guess we'll find out [Music] is it even possible to talk to her guess not all right um we'll just go this way then oh no we won't okay never mind gravity shifted we're kind of falling really slowly aren't we very calm apparently the gravity was weak on that one i'm gonna try and go to the top now because there is a moon at the top okay go up one two three okay let's get the one on top of the tower uh i'm a little confused uh [Music] okay oh yeah talk to pauline go go go go i should probably get this checkpoint as well that'd be really nice we can warp to it and have some good stuff all right oh into the city bye never mind i'm coming back we're falling fast oh my god we got some vectoring action in there wait wait for it uh that makes sense but it's not what i expected uh i mean this works i guess see a dino nice try fine with me oh the next direction is down oh god uh you have 20 seconds what apparently that's not actually there it's just for looks uh i believe since we're on the bike we don't have to worry about gravity shift looks like the gravity is upside down right now wait what happens if we what happens if you go back to the start yo we get a whole new view of this sub area unlike you've ever seen we're out cool i guess we could do the bullet bill sub area now huh don't mind me just rolling on a wall ouch i feel like this sub area is gonna be a tough one what if i just do this we have four seconds get the moon no no no that's not the right way and we're coming back if i can get high enough we can make this back just keep going up keep going up wait what no no no go down down down it's don't mind me just uh stalling for time a little bit just a tactical pause you know we actually haven't hit this checkpoint yet so if i play this right we can hit this checkpoint to warp back so we can leave more easily later on i should be able to hit the wall or like the thing here yes and i'll be able to grab the checkpoint yes good and now we can warp back to leave the kingdom whenever when we get enough moons there we go secret path to doodan city and now let's make it all the way back and uh oh crap the gravity shifted wait what happens oh that's disappointing it was just a really big jump this should count to the moon oh nice nice shot this is what the game defaults to by the way good to know wrong moon mario oh no wait this is fine yeah i can stand on the wall i guess we'll get some late kingdom moons too just doing everything in the wrong order huh how does this work let's grab a moon while we wait oh well i guess that makes sense yeah i don't know why what i expected but that that makes a lot of sense we should be able to just swim down the toad because this is technically sideways and it's sideways the other way now toad please buddy speak to me i can't get any closer than this never heard about social distancing come on you think you'd learn to talk to people that were six feet away speak to me he doesn't speak to anyone who experiences different gravity than him why don't we do a sub area no don't go up yet not yet not yet that was a close one gravity is shifting now and we're falling there should be a moon directly down from this got it let's go and we're in wait which direction is down okay this is whoa no should spawn the moon now we can run this way and then when the gravity switches i'm am i standing on the moving thing what just happened oh i was still what oh i wasn't ready no i was too okay whatever it's fine don't worry about it uh i actually might be able to get to the moon let's try this we're just gonna do this okay i don't think i can get up from here though oh wait oh god oh god yeah down is in a second okay we're fine we got the moon [Music] to luncheon we're just doing everything in the wrong wrong order uh actually wait a minute we can go directly with this gravity we can go directly to to mushroom kingdom it doesn't count as beating the game but it would be pretty cool the gravity is so wacky wait what i could have just jumped up the whole time all right sure let's grab an extra one why not oh the gravity just changed okay um okay shall we go in there somehow maybe make it to seaside kingdom let's go never mind there's a death plane wasn't that jump possible no it's an impossible jump there's a reason why i was in my impossible jumps video all right well now that we got that moon um there's actually nothing we can do we're gonna have to save and load uh we completed metro and lake but yes we're still in sand kingdom all right we should be able to get these three moons and we'll be able to leave this kingdom we're good to go let's leave i guess we'll go to lake kingdom because we're already done lake kingdom technically all right leaving lake wood kingdom let's go how does deep woods work can you just fall out of deep woods i should be able to get this nut moon up here yeah yeah this is good next direction is down gotcha okay so we have this moon just be careful fall into it let's go into this sub area okay yo this sub area is actually gonna be so sick ouch all right and uh there we go [Music] i have no idea how sideways gravity is gonna work though ouch ouch don't die [Music] that's a pretty cool sub area that's pretty dang cool i can't move up or down in the sub area it only lets me move left or right yeah up and down is literally disabled in the sub area let's get in the pipe can you walk into deep woods let's find out this may be too far out no we're going into deep woods i guess oh uh oh uh oh okay well we fell into deep woods i'm really afraid of this because i feel like this will kill me we are now heading to deeper woods oh wait gravity is normal right now we can get a moon we can get a moon go go go go go uh and wait i think we can get out we can we might be able to get out of deep woods check this out check this out what happens if you don't use the vine stand right in the center isn't this for planting something could be we hit the loading zone out oh no i didn't think this through i didn't think this through no think we might be able to go straight into the boss right from here because this is west yes so we can jump up and then not trigger the boss fight gotcha oh wait we triggered it oh because we were problem dude don't worry about it i i hear it happens like 50 of spirits so if i stand here i should just land directly on his head i think [Music] no i guess i wasn't standing directly on the bottom of the where the gravity was yeah whoa i can't go high enough okay wait a minute back flip gravity's down let's go boom easy we have to defeat him before it goes up i know that for sure i think we can do it we should be able to defeat him before it goes up again um it'll be close come on no it's gonna be flipped but before we get there yes i hit it anyways i fell into him uh we need six more moons now how does this even work oh god um [Music] i mean okay what dang it dude i can't do anything oh no oh well really doesn't know how to deal with weird gravity um i'm sure when it shifts everything will be fine right oh it shifted see it's fine look no no don't push me out stop there we go nailed it no frick no no no wait okay we got this moon everything's good okay gravity direction is west should head the wrong way because i apparently don't know which direction is which that seems pretty good i think that'll work [Music] yeah well for gravity like this i wonder if super mario galaxy mods are possible do i still have that clip on this computer i don't know uh yeah check this out [Music] the animations are a bit wacky still [Music] and the camera sucks [Music] but you can make super mario galaxy in super mario odyssey [Music] anyways pretty sick uh i guess we'll go to cloud right wait wait now i have no idea if i'm gonna be able to do this cause we're gonna go up next um up here as long as i am over the arena i can make this work just wait for it wait for it five four three now [Music] there we go okay now we have a few seconds to defeat the stage and i think there's only two phases here right no there's one more line ourselves up we should be in a safe place and it should flip so there's a heart let's go we'll jump at five i think six five go go go go go hit him
