Making The BEST Mob Farm in ATM8 | Ep. 5

the chunk Destroyer might be busted but it can't get us everything that we need to make the All theod Star while it definitely is the fastest quy in the game we need to set up a different kind of farm to get everything that we need one that might not be the most ethical on today's episode we're going to make the fastest mob farm you can get in all the mods 8 right after we deal with one very small problem I totally didn't set this up right there's just too much stuff that we don't need and it's causing the backpack to fill up too fast if I don't set this up it's going to cause a lot of problems so let's get this fixed first first we need to fix the void upgrade we need to set this to work in the guey and needs to be set to void overflow I need to delete all of these deep slate Stacks so we can free up some room so all I have to do to do that is drag in anything that pretty much I don't want into the void filter this means all of those zcorum gyms as well does anyone actually use these like is there something cool that I just don't know about and maybe all know about and I don't I have no clue what to do with them all right that's enough items from the chunk Destroyer now so I quickly snatch up the backpack and bring it to my storage setup turning on the deposit upgrade inside the backpack I can easily just sneak right click into the controller with the backpack in my hand to deposit everything that has a slot in our system which is another thing that I need to do lots of the stuff in the backpack kind of needs slots in the drawers so I quickly get everything out that I want to put in the drawers and give them a slot now we have a new problem the drawers are full this is where void upgrades come in if I put this in a drawer it will void everything over the limit of the drawer I put a few more void upgrades in a couple of the drawers then it was time to head back to the chunk Destroyer to place the backpack on top of it again now let's see if I have all of the right settings for it nope I need to fix the compacting upgrade for example this redstone block I only want it to compress redstone blocks down once so I want to place a 1x redstone block in the filter so it doesn't compress it down we don't have a slot for the two times compressed blocks in our storage system so I'd be missing out on some Redstone if it compressed more than one time I also need to do this for other compressed items that I have like gold but then the chunk Destroyer just stops hello my power system seems fine and the plug is getting power what gives maybe if I just toggle power surge here oh yeah that was it I had a little heart attack there not going to lie as the day turns into night it's time to fix a few more things in our storage system like this extra diamond compact drawer apparently it wasn't locked before and also you appar can lock all of the drawers all the same time by right clicking the controller with the configuration tool that is so cool I didn't know that thank you to whoever said that all right so now we just need to replace that with something else we'll probably put something in there later probably let's grab the backpack off the chunks destroyer and see what we can do with it we really need to go ahead and get some of the smelting for some drawer upgrades so I toss in the Raw copper blocks into my furnace and get started automating the smelting process we'll need an exporter and an importer for this the exporter is going to go in the back of the top chest and the Importer will go on the the back of the side chest now we just need to connect it to our system using the cables and I'm going to grab out some of the ores that I want to start smelting so for this I'm just going to do raw iron and raw copper and place it directly into the exporter filter is it working in the furnace wait why is the furnace out of power is it that round robin thing again let me just switch this up real fast and see if that yep that was it okay cool what were even doing oh yeah we needed to upgrade our drawers and that's why we started smelting the copper down right I'm just going to go ahead and make a couple of the copper drawer UPG upgrades which means we need to make some more drawers first we only have enough for about eight upgrades total but that'll work for now now to look to see what drawers are full just a quick deposit from the backpack and then we can check it all out this drawer has iron so it definitely needs an upgrade might as well give it to this one too is kind of getting close bro it is dark as hell outside what is going on let me equip a torch so I can see this ah much better a few more upgrades and I think we're good to go yo remember those ender chests we made now it's time to actually use them I'm going to place the backpack down near the controller then I'm going to run a pipe out of the back pulling directly out of it I want to make sure that I upgrade this pipe and then we can set another pipe on top of it and connect an Ender Chest to that pipe this pipe will extract from the Ender Chest into the backpack and we'll need an Ultimate Upgrade for this specific pipe now let's head over to the chunk destroyer and place the other Ender Chest on top of it if you didn't know you can also upgrade the size of the Ender Chest by using ender pearls on them we upgraded a full and head back to our storage setup and I quickly noticed something this is ugly as moving the chest on top of the pipe we take a look into the backpack to see if it's working and a new day Dawns we need to go faster and that means a faster jetpack right we currently have copper so let's see how far I can upgrade it we go from copper to Silver then to Gold then to Diamond and we have just enough to upgrade all the way to Emerald this is so much faster also no more that stupid slowly following stuff because man that gets on my nerves as I throw it on I noticed something the jetpack isn't charging charging I break the wireless controller and place it back switch on power surge for a second to see if maybe that'll work and then decide it was time to start upgrading our power just a little bit more this is super easy cuz all we have to do now is just make speed upgrades for mechanism I turned some of the RW Wars I have into the dust that we need and throw in some of the iron and Redstone into the metallurgic infuser but this was slow you know what's faster than a metallurgic infuser two metallurgic infusers so I decided to make another but then it dawned on you know what's faster than two metallurgic infusers 35 metallurgic okay I only made enough for like three okay but 35 does actually sound pretty fast I place the two new ones and throw in some more iron and Redstone using the infused Alloys we got we can only make about three speed upgrades let's take this over to our power setup and see which machine is the slowest it's not a Crusher it pretty much stays full let's check the PRC yeah we're definitely going to need to speed that up I throw in the three that we have and then grab some more of the Alloys from the infusers to make some more upgrades we make six more more and I sneak right click to install all of them into the PRC at once let's see if that was too many oh yeah that's that's definitely too many oops let's just throw in some energy upgrades in there and see if that helps still not enough is it the round robin problem thing again oh come on of course that fixed it all right now let's speed up the crusher eight is probably a little too much right now so let's just take a few out and what is this doing after messing around with the power settings just a little bit more I finally get to work right and now we can finally go set up making our mob farm to make all of this much easier we're going to set up a little bit of autocrafting first that means we just need a few more things for our RS system I make a crafting Monitor and then make a spot for it oh my God I left so much stuff in the workbench now we need a pattern grid and I place that on top of the monitor next we make a couple of Crafters but I want it to be a little bit faster I know I can upgrade this to an iron crafter but can I upgrade it further the answer is no we're completely out of obsidian oh that's not good that's all right we'll just place our two iron Crafters down and now we need to make some patterns I stick those in the top right of the pattern grid and start to make some basic patterns that we're going to need let's make a few recipes here basic things like logs into planks planks into chests how about a pattern pattern so we can make more patterns with this pattern why not a crafter pattern for more Crafters to hold more patterns in we throw all the patterns into one of the crafters and a new day begins wait what day is it [Music] this timer is always off for a mob farm we need to make something called a mob Masher let's grab all the recipes we need to teach the sister to make it and then request about three this recipe is annoying to make my hand because you got to make a lot of swords and that takes a while that is why we're making it in the autoc crafter now we want to make an experience Crystal which needs black concrete I wonder if I can just take the concrete powder and right click the see okay okay okay what about if we place it on top all right fine we'll make it the normal way let's make some lime glass first which means we'll need to smelt down some of the cactus to get green dye now we just combine some white dye and green dye together to make lime then we can make the glass I head to the overall to make the concrete and I also wanted to grab some clay as well and I'm also going to steal the white wool from the sale on our ship we're going to use these later heading back home we should have everything we need for this experience Crystal oh my God I just remembered you know the best way to get experience is let me show you let's place down our workbench plus again and check out this recipe for the experience pump this thing is broken like you would not believe I throw in everything for the recipe and I quickly realize I don't have enough hay bells ooh let's just grow some more wheat right don't worry about it Bob I'm just going to just got to bone meal it that takes us to the Overworld we you know where there are plenty of hay bals Villages you know what they also have W Stones except for this first Village that didn't have either my Village kind of sucked the next Village was much better because as soon as we flew in we spotted a away Stone I need that got him so fast it also had a lot of hay bells we also grabed some flowers because we're going to need that later delete the 500 extra random seeds that we just keep getting and filling our inventory then I kind of got distracted because this is like really cool looking Village oh my God is that a beeh house this might come in handy later on to the next Village right after this quick pit stop for some more loot do I have bunny slippers already I do not all right next oh hello there home sweet home we place it our hay bells and there it is wait wait where is it hello is it in the back oh to place this in the chunk Destroyer we got to convert it into a module first we place it in the module section and watch the beautiful numbers counting up oh that's going to be nice so what do these numbers mean how do we get experience from it easy just take the module out right click with it in the air and Bam I can easily throw these levels into the Crystal but I don't think I want want the crystal here wait did I just destroy all the experience I had in it does it break it when I get it okay visually it's messed up that's weird we need this experience for our mob farm the crystal makes it easy for us to get essence buckets or buckets of experience or whatever there's like 15 different buckets of XP okay I'm sorry all we have to do to get buckets of experience is use the bucket on the Crystal and it'll fill it up we fill up a few of them and now we need to make some mob swabs for us to get some mob DNA also want to make me some cursed chicken feet after making these let's just see how much experience we've gathered casually 66 levels for the next step we need to find a chicken but first I want to place down a waystone here for an easier teleporter back God is so beautiful we head into the Overworld and find us a few mobs to swab first up we swab a skeleton just cuz he's here do you have to shoot me I also want a spider and happen to find one hiding behind some trees looking at the map I want to see what Mom are around me for me to swap then the most beautiful mob appears a chicken chickens are the most important part of this whole operation and not for the Fried Chicken either even though that's pretty good I ain't going to lie let me show you why I swab one mix the swab with a seed and a bucket of experience and we get this special chicken feed chickens love this feed oh there it's to dive for when they eat it they can't control how much they love it happy birthday Tac when they blow up we get the mob egg for the mob that we swapped which means we got a chicken mob egg now we need to feed the other chicken the curse feed that we made too this makes a rotten egg which we're going to use later which means it was time to build the mob farm I make a bunch of tiled deep slate blocks because personally I love the way they look and I start building everything for the farm wouldn't it be nice if there was some kind of video to teach you how to build this mob farm exactly like I'm making it you won't believe this but I bet made one you can check out the full guide by clicking the link on the top right if you've already watched it let me know in the comments below of what mobs you use for your own personal farm for this build I plan on using seven spawners I finished building the main part of the structure then make a small door out of the Ethereal glass if you didn't know e theog glass allows for players to go in and out of it but not mobs this is awesome for a build like this now I want to place down those mob Mashers we made earlier these need some sort of redstone power so personally I like to use Redstone glass here I figured soon as it was still kind of early game we only make three Masters but man we have so many resources from the chunk Destroyer let's go ahead and make six more so we can have a total of nine I throw those down and realize this door is way too small so break it out and just make a 3X3 of the Ethereal glass so I can fly in and out easily and also not accidentally get killed now we need to make a way for the mobs to be moved to the Kill Zone after they spawn for this I'm going to use Vector plates but we're all out of sugar that's a problem that's fine we're just going to make one mob fam for now I'm not sure how how many upgrades I need so I place it down to see I only had enough for about two width upgrades so that means we need more feathers I know exactly how I'm going to fix this problem I grab my spawners and head to the Overworld I don't remember which spawner was which so I place it down and unbox it to find out this one is a Vindicator spawner I want to keep one of those I killed a few spawns and check the next spawner another Vindicator spawner I take out my chicken spawn egg and use it to convert the spawner over then I clean up the rest of the vindicators what are you guys doing down there now all we need to do is gather up some feathers that was a lot after all the chickens kindly gave us all of their feathers we have enough to make those upgrades we need three total width upgrades and four distance upgrades and that's just enough to push everything to the back of the Kill Zone but I forgot one thing sugar for the vector plates I don't know how many plates that I need so I make about 24 and the next day Dawns on us with the plates in hand I want to place these so that they push the mobs directly towards the mob Mashers I want to lead the mobs all the way to the front then in the middle I want to push them into the Mashers now that the build is all set up we need to get a different backpack for our collection system oh that hurt oh wait I can teleport with this I grabbed one of those spare backpacks and upgraded to Diamond and I plac it on the side of the building remember those upgrades we made in the last episode that I set I explain later it's later time o00 for this mob farm setup we need a magnet upgrade to pick up the drops and a tank upgrade so that it picks up the experience that's dropped as well I need to make one more upgrade and that's the advanced void upgrade which needs obsidian that I totally forgot to go grab ah we need obsidian my ADHD is really bad this episode please do not judge me I flew all the way back to the end portal so we can get back into the end I remember when body got set on fire in here pepp Farm remembers with our leftover Way Stone I plac it down so we can easily teleport back and forth now it was time to mine out this pillar of wait there is a much better way to do this than mining so let me show you first we want to make something called the exchanging Gadget simple enough right we also want to grab some kind of building block that we have a ton of preferably something that's in your DK because the gadgets can actually pull from them I chose Cobble deep slate place the block down and sneak right click it with the gadget now we can open up the gadget menu and drag the range all the way up to 15 now we can just right click on the obsidian with the gadget and voila easy enough let's just take out a few of these pillars to get some more obsidian cool as we head back home I noticed the gadget wasn't recharging what's going on with my power this time not cool oh the PRC is full that's pretty easy we just got to put a void upgrade in the drawer above it and it's all fixed now back to the mob farm I want to try something new so many people have told me that Dreadful dirt is like the best method for Mob farms and it's much better overall so I kind of want to test out that theory this means we'll need to block all all the light in my mob farm and the easiest way to do that is by making tinted glass we make a ton of it then we just use the exchanging Gadget to replace all the regular glass with it now we need to replace the Ethereal glass in the front with tinted ethereal glass which means we need amethyst and all we have is amethyst blocks so here's another tip bust out your handed Dandy cutting board for those who thought I was going to say notebook Blue's Clues really just hit different didn't it with the amethyst blocks in your off hand and a pick in the other you can right click to place an AME this block directly on the board then left click to break it with your pickaxe to get amethyst shards beautiful this allows me to make the tinted ethereal blocks for our new door nice oh we were supposed to finish making those upgrades for the backpack I suck at this Advanced void upgrade done let's set this up we're going to click works and goey set this avoid overflow and then we want to set the filter to lock now we can make a diamond stack upgrade and we can finally spawn in some mobs for the farm right nope we need upgrades for the mob Master that's easy enough CU we just got to make the recipes in our autoc crafter I just want the sharpness and looting upgrades for now there's not really a reason to use the rest of them and so we have nine Mashers and each of them take 10 of each upgrade so that means we need 90 upgrades of each so with all that's cooking up we need to set up our on and off switch for the entire mob farm for this I like to use Redstone links from create these are easy enough to make just make some brass ingots strip some wood right click the wood with the brass and that will make casings now we can use those to crap the Redstone links one of these goes on the front door and one on the fan in the back we want to set this one that's on the fan to receive by right clicking it with the create wrench and now we just need a lever for the front one because that's our main switch and it will turn on the fan in the back now for the Moment of Truth using the rotten egg we right click the grass in the center of our farm to turn it into Dreadful dirt oops I guess they don't spawn in the minor Dimension I probably should have thought about that that's all right we just got to set the spawners then I had a feeling this would happen we'll just need some more buckets of experience so why don't we just check on the chunk Destroyer to get XP 990,000 exper how many levels is that oh my God all right so we have 169 levels of experience now I do need another rotten egg to get specific kinds of mobs so let's just go ahead and make another cursed chicken feed and head back to the Overworld we just got to feed this to a chicken and now I'm just going to build out a little room beside this spawner I really don't need this to be perfect like I know it's a 5x5 but I really just need a couple of mobs right before we use it another day passes except that it went from day 22 to day 25 but says day 23 I really need to get with the modev and let them know what is going on what kind of math is that we use the egg on the dirt and I was not prepared for it to work instantly we need to swab a few of these for eggs we need this slime This Witch we got to kill all these guys guys oh we need that creeper no after a little bit another creeper spawns and I almost miss it but thankfully I got it right on time we can light this place up and move on all right so now we need one more very important mob and for this we need to go deep into the caves to find it I struggle to fly through these tunnels but when the cave finally opens up there it is a cave creeper I swab it and did I get the right thing I'm going to be real I honestly thought I swabbed a little guy in the back on accident and I was kind of scared now that we have have the swabs that we need we can head home that's when I remembered something we have mob eggs from the first episode we had a skeleton egg a creeper a spider and an Enderman Egg isn't that just great let's just go ahead and add these spawners to the mob farm I placed glass earlier as a placeholder so I break it away and unbox the first spawner I'm not really worried about anything spawning just yet because we're in the mining Dimension and nothing spawns here but we're going to fix that later I've placed the rest of the spawners I have and I realized we are kind of a little short of seven spawners also noticed that my drawers were filling up more so I made a copper upgrade pattern and upgraded a couple of more I upgraded a few of the drawers and then I head back to the mod Mashers all of those upgrades we made earlier finished crapping so I fill each one up with each upgrade and head back over to my chunk Destroyer I really like seeing how much xp we get from this thing it's kind of addictive we just make a couple more buckets of XP we can convert these swabs that we made into more chicken feet so we can make some more spawn eggs now was time to head to the other my God this place is beautiful and fly back to the dungeon along the way I kill a ghast and it drops some more gas TI we need these later but for now I swap one of the blazes and fly back to the dungeon we might as well grab the extra netherite blocks that are up here I mean I should have done this earlier but yeah we just got to break these spawners wait Alfred why are you breaking the spawners I thought you needed extra spawners These suck bro like these are bad we'll get the good ones from the bottom don't worry now we fly back under and oh look we missed a chest I need to grab this spawner but as you see these are super fast so I really struggle with this there guys too much stuff going on here okay I get it I get it y'all are upset look I just I just want to get your spawner that's it like I really struggled with this it took me forever leave me alone but I finally managed to get four more spawners and we head back home you guys are insufferable I hope youall know that as I go to add things to my storage another day passes looks like it fixed itself though because we're only on day 24 now I think I went ahead and converted the new mob swabs into more chicken feed fed them to a few more chickens tell body he's a good boy good boy and start placing down the rest of the spawners now I need to decide which spawners that I want to convert over I end up with a skeleton spawner a cave creeper one wither skeletons Blaze evoker but I eventually change it the Slime right after an Enderman and a creeper spawner everything is set up but again nothing is spawning because we're in the mining Dimension the only only way to fix this is by giving the spawner a dragon egg but we only have one we can easily get more but we'll need to resummon the inder dragon a few more times which means we need more gas tiers and there is an easy way to get gas tiers if you didn't know you can make gas tiers from catalyzing glands you know what drops these glands creepers so we use the only dragon egg that we have on the creepers and oh my God please don't blow up I quickly get out some coarse fruit and use it on the spawner this disables the AI of the mobs that spawn so they won't attack or blow up or really do anything except for die I went ahead and used the coar fruit on the rest of the spawners as well we need to go ahead and set up Redstone control for the spawners so I make some Redstone comparators and I use them on the spawners as well on the back side of the spawners I place a redstone link on each of them then add two blocks above so that mobs don't get caught on the row of redstone links now we just set all of the links to receive mode using the wrench and we need to do one more thing using nether quarts in our off hand and blaze rods in my main hand I can reduce the spawn range to three with each of these spawners so mobs won't spawn outside of the farm area now everything is ready to go we just need some more Dragon eggs that means we need some more gas tiers I make the gas gate and go to town maybe this was a bad idea to be this close we got so many gas tiers that I went ahead and upgraded the spawners of them gas tiers increase the max entities per spawner so that's pretty nice to have now we want to make enough in crystals to kill the dragon two more times Alfred you have seven spot and need six eggs shouldn't you kill them six more times let me tell you about my good friend hostile neural networks you see we can get some data on the Ender Dragon to make us dragon eggs using the mod so I go ahead and make two more data models and head back to the end to fight the dragon I place down the end crystals around the pillar to summon her back in and then use the two models on her to start collecting data by putting them into our deep learner now we can test how good magic Bane really is spoiler alert it sucks I couldn't even kill the dragon while she was being healed that means it sucks I destroy all the crystals and I actually almost die doing that I'm going to die if I give that up then we got we killing the dragon come here let's talk it took forever even after I killed her hurry up and die it was obvious that we needed to upgrade magic bait so I head back to our chunk Destroyer to check for more experience I totally don't have a problem which means we had a total of 222 levels to use the more enchants that we add magic Bane the stronger it gets so I add vorpal which is really strong which was pretty expensive oh my God I noticed I had a book for efficiency six as well so I went ahead and added that to my pick which is actually like super cheap now I want to add looting five to magic man that's a lot of experience that drained almost all the experience we had so let's go back to the chunk destroyer and see what that has right oh baby 71 more levels I know we don't have enough for magic bang cuz that thing was getting expensive so let's add Boon of the Earth to to my pick I really should have added the sharpness seven we have to Magic Bane first cuz that cost 263 levels now as I get ready to head back to the end day 25 begins wo except I couldn't use the waist Stone cuz I was out of experience so uh chunk Destroyer now summon the dragon back and really get to test out magic M oh my God I forgot to totally get the dragon egg from last time oh this is much better I used the two dragon eggs we got on the cave creeper spawner and a skele spawner and then it was time to set up hostile neural networks to get more dragon eggs for this I make two simulation Chambers and one loot fabricator and then we go to start setting them up the two Chambers can go beside each other and the loop fabricator can go behind them I use ultimate pipes here to pump out the items from the chambers into the loot fabricator and then I also want to add a couple on top so that it can give power to it as well I use a point to give it the power then make some prediction matri prediction M prediction matrices to put put them in the Sim Chambers then that should set up everything but it looks like it isn't getting enough power why oh I forgot to upgrade the separator and my melon power setup oops and we also need to upgrade the pipe giving the chambers power with a pipe upgrade now it's all working I swear to God if my power has any more problems the chambers will run a simulation on the dragon to give us loot and if it succeeds we get a dragon prediction if it fails it will give us this I don't want the system to back up with those so I make a jar just for those predictions and connect it to a pipe let's check out the loot fabricator oh look we got one now we just got to choose the dragon egg and Bam I make a few more prediction matrices and we finally get a few more dragon eggs that we can use to upgrade the rest of our spawners also need to move the Ender inhib that we made before so that the Enderman don't teleport away in our setup for this setup I actually need two so I made another and stuck it on the back side of the farm you know how's the loop from this Farm looking beautiful in the void upgrade I want to put the items that I want to keep inside of of the filter to keep them from being deleted I've got one more thing I want to do with this but I went and grabbed the final dragon egg and used it on the last spawner we needed to upgrade now we should have a lot more loot coming in so I connected the backpack that's collecting all the loot to the drawer controller from our storage setup this pipe needs to be really fast so we make an ultimate pipe upgrade for it and add it in this should clean up the backpack for us I noticed a few more items that need to be added the drawers so I went ahead and made a spot for them as well the spawners were also very loud and annoying so I used wool on each of them and that will make them all silent since we're upgrading spawners I grabbed out some sugar and started growing one of the brown mushrooms we had in the botney pot it grows on Stone by the way sugar decreases the minimum spawn delay of the spawners so I upgrade all the spawners that I can to Max next up I make some clocks to decrease the max spawn delay of the spawners and since we grab the fast spawners to begin with it doesn't take a whole lot for us to upgrade everything to Max and with that we have a super fast mob farm for all of our mob farm needs isn't it
