Making Hide and Seek - Episode 6 (Replay)

[Music] [Applause] hello everybody welcome to episode number 6 in the hide-and-seek live series where today we are gonna carry on from where we left off in yesterday's alive episode which if you did miss you can catch at the end of this stream as it is saved on the channel just as every other one is so we finished off yesterday with a very important book and to do with the playing value which was inserted into the seeker when it shouldn't be because the seeker should only have a seeker value but not a player value so we'll be looking into that today but we've also got a lot of other features that I've been thinking about adding and so things such as powers so you could select whether a certain power that you can activate during the round which is like a Crouch if the Seekers nearby and just want to quickly crouch down for five seconds or if you want to give yourself invisibility for four seconds or a little bit of extra speed to outrun the seeker so that will be built into our shop GUI as well you'll be able to buy and select certain powers as well things such as chance percentage of becoming the seeker is something that we will be working on also global leaderboards some improvements to the spectate GUI a brand new GUI that will appear when somebody gets caught by the seeker and also a hot or cold indicator so whether you are near a group of players out where you're getting hotter or colder the closer you move to them so a lot of things that we will be working on today so let's make a good episode we've got lots of time and let's finish off March with a good do that I think I think it's something that we could do but what we could also do is the seeker chance I think we'll start out with that cuz I do like that so what we're gonna do in a great screen GI and it's gonna be your chance your chance to become the seeker we'll just do one of these the frame chance full of create says can you make a following pets feature in a future video thank you for we are going to have a table here and it's going to be called player chances so we will have players in each table so in each table there will be a player object so game dots players dots alvin underscore blocks and then we have their chance which would be a number so it's not a percentage it's a number but we watch it's a fake percentage the player it will look like a percentage but it will not be a actual percent it will be in them kind of like a points and whoever has the most points will become the murderer but we can make it look like they have a chance so we need to do a function each player if there's 10 players and they will have ten points then is going to be a total of 100 points so your chance out of everyone else is becoming the murderer or the seeker is going to be 10
