Making Brand NEW Poison Pokémon!

let's talk about some poison type Pokemon I think poison types are highly underrated not only are they useful in battle with the poison status being an absolute Game Changer but they also have some killer designs as well I really enjoyed coming up with the poison types for my first Fakemon region the luika region however being as there aren't really a lot of venomous creatures in Iceland where my second Fakemon region the firon region is inspired by it was hard to come up with poison types for this region so I was forced to get creative which I honestly enjoy doing or Branch out into other Scandinavian countries for some inspiration which is also something I've already done with this region anyways I'm pleased to report I actually ended up coming up with quite a bit of poison types way more than I ever imagined I would and all of which that I am genuinely proud of but before we take a look at those I'd like to go over some of the poison types from previous regions that can be found in the firen region poison types can be found all over the region some of which even have already been confirmed as they've already received Forge forms and being as there are so many great poison types in the firen region and even a designated area in the region polluted with them I had no choice but to make a trainer that specializes in poison types and believe me she's ready to make her big debut happy New Year everybody welcome back to my channel I am so excited to be back with a brand new video for those of you who are new my name is Michael Ryan I am the creator of mycomon underscore regions on Instagram and Twitter where I share my Fakemon regions the African inspired luika region and the Icelandic inspired fearin region in today's video I'm going to be exploring the poison type as I introduce a bunch of brand new potent poison type Pokemon for the firen region most of which are actually Regional variants with brand new Regional Evolutions I'm so excited to dive into those but before I do I wanted to catch up with all of you and let you know what I've been up to I had a great holiday I spent it with a bunch of family and friends my little brother Matt actually just got married so I attended a wedding which was a lot of fun congratulations to him and his partner Chris I also got to see one of my best friends Kevin from out of town visiting from California and of course I've been working on Plenty of exciting new videos and projects I cannot wait to share with all of you as for my New Year's resolution my New Year's resolution this year is to just be unapologetically me I've learned over time as a content creator that you can't please everyone you can't make everyone like you believe it or not there's actually some toxicity in the Fakemon Community a lot of the creators can be caddy or just kind of shady I'm not going to point anything out obviously because I only wish the best for all creators I support them I want everyone to succeed sadly not everyone has that same mentality there's a lot of people who will talk crap about you behind your back say or do Shady things um it's unfortunate especially as the people who've done it to me personally I don't actually know most of them or the ones I do know I've never actually had the chance to engage with and those I have engaged with I've been nothing but kind to and a lot of them have actually only been kind to me at least to my face so it's rather hurtful because I think they say it in um places they think you won't see or hear about it but you do um people talk you know so moving on I'm just not going to pay any attention to that I'm gonna continue to be my nice genuine self but I will no longer be nice to people who are not nice to me you know I'm not trying to be rude but I'm just cutting the toxicity out of my life I don't need any drama I actually have plenty in my life already believe it or not so I do not need anyone else's drama I don't need any negativity clean slate now enough about all this garbage and other people's toxicity let's now take a look at some of the toxic poison type Pokemon found in the firen region the fearin region is inspired by Scandinavia and Norse mythology with the majority of the Region's culture geography and Wildlife resembling that of Iceland the region features over 115 brand new Pokemon as well as new Regional forms and evolutions for classic Pokemon and a brand new battle mechanic known as Forge forms offering unique magical weapon variations of several fan favorite Pokemon as well as the new native Pokemon of the region the fear and Region's hypothetical and who knows maybe one day future fan games would be known as Pokemon brain and Pokemon Bronze with its story focusing on Duality and division as you set out on your own Pokemon Adventure against your overprotective mother Professor Aspen's best wishes as you'd be pitted against your childhood best friend as you've both been recruited by rival teams team brain and team Braun in the middle of their high stakes Turf War throughout the firen region as each team is led by one of the firen Region's Divine Pokemon team brain is led by the trickster Pokemon ill ruse while team Braun is led by the mighty Pokemon Stormer both trying to reclaim the region as they believe it to be their rightful Kingdom so you and the rest of Team brain or team Braun are merely their pawns as you'll not only be up against an evil team in this region but will actually be part of one working your way up the ranks I hope you and your starter Pokemon are ready because the journey through the fear and region continues I've already introduced a couple of poison type Pokemon in the firen region such as oiluga being based on a beluga whale with a thick oily coat found out at sea at the poker Corp oil rig boyluga are attracted to oil spills or garbage in the ocean as they like to absorb the toxins into their oily coat to treat the water for other sea-dwelling Pokemon however exposure to its oily coat puts those around it at risk causing it to live in isolation oyluga evolves into the aggressive anti-hero seta crude now being based on orcas despite thriving and toxic environments said a crude are said to be overly aggressive to those who pollute the ocean for other Pokemon like its pre-evolution this Pokemon can only be found at the poker Corp oil rig out at Sea with the variety of other poison and water type Pokemon these powerhouses are a great addition to any trainer's team another poison type I've introduced already at least on my Instagram account at mycomon underscore regions is pory foam pory foam protect themselves from predators at the bottom of the sea floor by producing and excreting dangerous toxins this round Pokemon is based on c-spunches and is a pure poison type as sea sponges are full of toxic chemicals poriform's name is a play on the technical term for sea sponges being porifera and foam this mod is meant to follow the trend of friend-shaped sea creatures found in more recent Generations poor foam can easily be found all through the seeds of the fearin region or along the Region's beaches like all Native fear and Pokemon these two lines would also be obtainable in the ancient Cedar region of Pokemon Legends realmdale in the same or similar areas I am aware this somewhat contradicts or luga's more modern lure but its oily coat is part of its anatomy and the same can be said for a lot of native Sinnoh Pokemon which can be found in the husui region such as rotum or electivire even some old ones like Magnemite anyways I'd like to take a look at a new poison type line introduced in the firen region that is is yet to be introduced so let's take a look at torpal desperate for attention these troublemakers pluck flowers and tease other Pokemon this Pokemon's name is inspired by twerp and purple as the flower it is inspired by the Lupine flower commonly found throughout Iceland is purple the petals and particularly the seeds of this Lupine flower are poisonous which provided me with a natural poison type for the region which once again was hard to come by as its name and Dex entry suggests it's a total brat causing chaos wherever it goes so don't let its otherwise cutie appearance fool you torpal can only be found in the new Bloom Fields as well as an area in the firen Region's DLC but more on that later torple evolves into even sassier per Punk don't underestimate this Pokemon per Punk or as potent as they are audacious to fit the naming scheme of its predecessor per Punk's name is once again a play on purple and of course Punk the idea behind this line was to offer a new wafu grass type like those found in most regions but one with even more Edge and attitude to fit its poison typing as well as the Lupine flowers rigid looking petals I also took some slight inspiration from the punk princess personality of the poison type specialist in the firen region but we'll get more into her later on in this video for Punk will harder to find can be found in the same area as torpal new Bloom fields of course these two Pokemon would be obtainable within the cedar region found within the floral field lands whether in the ancient Cedar region or the modern day firen region you will definitely want to catch this Pokemon for its hidden ability alone its hidden ability being toxic debris like another toxic flower makes it a great addition to any team just make sure to put it in the front of your lineup as any experienced Pokemon trainer would already know I'd like to take a look at some new fear and Regional variants all sharing the poison typing first up is a new Regional form for eckins now adopting the psychic typing for anyone Atkins uses its trippy patterns and metronome-like tail to hypnotize its prey Iceland actually doesn't have any amphibians or reptiles but I obviously wanted to have diversity in my decks and decided to take Liberties as Pokemon often does as I'm sure you all know no Pokedex is completely accurate to the real world places that they are inspired by in fact most of them are anything but accurate as once again I cover in most of my videos and even if I didn't I'm sure you all know I only say this because you always get somebody in the comments who's like oh that doesn't belong in Iceland or that can't be found in Iceland if only people said the same things about the paudia Pokedex or any other region but people are a lot harder on Fakemon regions for some reason anyways rant over being as the fear and region also takes inspiration from Scandinavia as a whole I decided to base this Regional variant off the adder snake found in a couple of Scandinavian countries however this inspiration is loose and I also took some inspiration from the snake car from The Jungle Book for its more hypnotic concept as I really liked the idea of having a poison psychic type this version of Ekans has vibrant psychedelic colors fitting of a poison type as well as a psychic type it's also got a metronome a device often used to achieve hypnosis as its rattler Atkins can be found in a couple places in the firen region and it's more grassy and Rocky terrains it can even be found in the rainbow Woodlands along with other psychic type Pokemon Ekans however no longer evolves into aurobach but instead has a brand new Regional evolution Retta yes its name is Adder backwards as that was the species of snake that once again inspired this line just looking at red as mesmerizing scales is enough to put anyone in a paralyzing trance I know what you're thinking and has red in its name why is there not red in its design and the answer is simple once again its name is just add or spelled backwards and has nothing to do with the color red trust me I love the color red it's my personal favorite but I wanted to stick true to the colors of its pre-evolution and more importantly the color red really didn't fit its typing or concept at all that being said it's shiny coloration is at least red you're welcome the neon green center pattern down its body is meant to really pop next to the darker purples and instantly draw Focus as the black marks over top of it are meant to resemble snake eyes once again playing into its psychic typing and more hypnotic concept Retta has a more serpent-like body as a subtle nod to some of the serpents found throughout Norse mythology while rare Retta can also be found in the wild in the same areas as Atkins as Iceland is known for its harsh weather and terrain as well as its history with the ruthless Viking warriors I wanted to make a lot of the fjorn Pokemon look tougher or more Fierce to fit the style of this more Cutthroat region so if you look at my fear and Pokedex you will notice that these Pokemon look a lot tougher than some of the previous generations and that is intentional that is very much a design choice and creative decision for this Region's Pokedex this is also very much in line with some of the more recent and edgier Pokemon designs over the last couple of games and generations I'm just doubling down on it for the Aesthetics of my own region and don't get me wrong that is not to say that the firen region is not full of cute Pokemon or more traditional style Pokemon as well it's all a balancing act really however I feel like every generation has certain recurring themes or design elements found throughout its pokedexes so I try to incorporate similar themes throughout the designs of my own pokedex's and regions next up we have a new Regional form for salandit virini and slandit is no longer a fire type but instead an ice type another reference to the fact that Iceland is known as the land of Fire and Ice as the firen region has a continuous theme of Duality which I'm sure most of you who watch all my videos are probably sick of hearing I am so sorry but not everyone watches my videos so I have to go there and catch everyone else up to speed its venom sacks produce a fluid that thrives in cold temperatures this process creates to land its poison gas the changes to perennials design are super subtle with the icy blue snowflake-like pattern along its back and tail being the only real noticeable difference can be found in the fern region snowy and Rocky areas once again there aren't really any reptiles found in Iceland but with firen already taking some inspiration from the rest of Scandinavia this line was Loosely inspired by the great Newt found in Norway obviously I put my own twist on it as Pokemon often does with its ice typing to once again fit the Region's themes of Duality now to further this theme as I'm sure you probably suspected perennial slanted only evolves if it is a male similar to how the original salandit only evolves into slazzle if it's a female so if you manage to catch and evolve a male salandit in the firen region you'll get salizard a play on salamander blizzard to accommodate its ice typing and of course lizard for some reason only males have been found it creates a harem of female salandit that it lives with I really hate to perpetuate gender stereotypes but it is important to note that solizard is a lot buffer than its more slender female counterpart salazzle it's icy blue highlights and snowflake-like patterns expanded from its pre-evolution helps sell its new ice typing once again while rare it can be found in the same areas as its pre-evolution to land it usually accompanied by Harem of female salandit as mentioned in its deck century last but not least I'd like to introduce a new Regional variant for trubbish look I know trubbish gets a lot of hate alongside a handful of Gen 5 pokemon but I actually love it and I always have to be honest I mean a trash bag especially with its more cat-like features is far more original to me than a literal pile of slime and plenty of other gen 1 Pokemon if I'm being absolutely honest but I'm sure you've all seen or had this debate before so I'll spare you anyways for Ernie and trumpish now has the water typing trubbish have adapted into water types in the firen region after being dumped into the sea alongside human waste it is clearly inspired by the plastic waste and various other toxins that now pollute a majority of the world's oceans you can see the plastic that coats its body and makes up its arms and the little colored specks in its design are now a lot darker like the rest of its design its apathetic facial expression says it all it is over it a lot of you who follow me already know I'm no stranger to social commentary with my Fakemon designs and either is the Pokemon company this Pokemon can be found with a wide variety of the fear and Region's poison types out at sea at the poker Corp oil rig where there is a massive oil leak in the ocean which is actually a major plot point in the story as this location serves as a big battle between rival teams team brain and team Braun which you and your rival will be part of this is also the location and point in the story where you will first encounter the poison type specialist Irma speaking of Irma her Ace Pokemon is actually foreign like the other two Regional variants showcased in this video for Iranian trubbish no longer evolves into garboder in the firen region but instead it now evolves into garbossian garbossian eats waste and toxins from the sea which it uses to create more potent poisons inside of its body garbossian looks quite similar to garboda as I wanted to stay true to its design and have them at least look related but now has a coat of plastic with even more Rings making up its tentacles as I wanted it to appear to be more aquatic to fit its new water type and concept by resembling a jellyfish at least that was my intention garbossian is even one of the many poison type Pokemon that can learn a brand new move within the firen region called pollution this is a special attack that deals 70 damage it is essentially a poison type version of freeze dry as it is super effective against water types as well as having a 10 chance of poisoning the target yes it too can be found around the poker Corp oil rig so make sure to catch one as it has a powerful Forge form of the wrecker type this hazardous Hammer is stronger than it looks especially as it can poison its foes on contact and of course it is the signature weapon of the four mentioned poison type specialist Irma Irma is a famous activist and environmentalist as well as the youngest member of the firen elite 4. she uses potent poison type Pokemon as a bold political statement to show just how dangerous toxic chemicals can be by demolishing her opponent's immune system quite literally although she has a lot to say she also isn't scared to get her hands dirty using her garbossians Forge form she's respected for her filter-free statement an elevated fashion which she uses to get people to start genuine conversations about pollution if you look closely at her design her dress is made out of a trash bag her earrings are recycle symbols she has fishnet leggings which is fitting of her Ace Pokemon gar potions ties to the Sea and she has saved the planet spray painted onto her boots and of course her colors being purple and neon green are very fitting of a poison type specialist as well while Irma herself is a force to be reckoned with she just wants to leave behind a better world for Pokemon and people alike to live in for generations to come she particularly feels team's brain and team Braun are a threat to the fearin region after one of their brawls at the poker Corp oil rig over classified documents cause an oil spill into the ocean needless to say she is ready to take out the trash as this will be your first encounter with her and her poison type Pokemon before actually facing her in the fear and regions Elite Four actually you will encounter all of the fear and regions Elite Four within the story and even battle them before you actually face the Elite Four in the finale her final team of poison type Pokemon consists of per Punk whose sassy attitude matches her own but also sets the stage with its deadly toxic debris ability followed by muck solizard rev of room Retta and of course her Ace Pokemon garboshin who she uses as her secret weapon as like all the other elite four members she not only specializes in a Pokemon type but one of the four Forge form weapon types which in her case is obviously the record type her character's role and personality was inspired heavily by Young activist Greta thundberg who isn't Icelandic but is Scandinavian as she's from Sweden while her more punk rock appearance is inspired by pop princesses such as Avril Lavigne or Billy eilish but also takes some slight inspiration from the queen of crime herself Harley Quinn as I'm sure you probably noticed especially in how she wields her Hammer with absolute confidence but make no mistake while taking inspiration from all these strong females Irma is still her own person and Powerhouse Pokemon trainer it's important to note that being Regional variants and Evolutions that these three Pokemon lines would be found in Pokemon Legends realmdale but only through realmdel's reality distortions similar to the time space distortions in Pokemon Legends Arceus as the cedar region already has its
