hey what's up guys it is bond gonzo coming at you with a cakewalk beat making video not a GarageBand one but a cakewalk beat making video I've been using cakewalk for almost two weeks now and I'm really enjoying making beats on it and I've been doing just about one every single day so we're making one on camera today and let's see how it goes [Music] [Music] okay so here's my little melody loop it kind of sounds like a little boy and that was what I was going for I want to I want to teach you guys in this video how to turn instantly really childish and friendly and happy into a really sad dark trap beat now let's make it dark and sad so the first thing I do is figure out what key are things in I'm not gonna explain to you and looking up on the internet because I don't want to explain it to you right now it's gonna text you way too long if you really have a question you can ask me in the comment section but anyway I know that this one is in C major so now I want to change to C minor so let me teach you how to do that for a really simple way for any key that you're in and what you want to do so you want to find the a key which is right right about there and then you want to draw a note on the a key so that's right here so you face your first note on the a I chose a 4 here and you want to place notes right above it on every single white key until you hit another a so a [Music] that right there is a minor scale now what you want to do is that since I know that my melody is in C major I want to transpose this bottom note which was a day when a transpose up to a C now is on a C so I know that in the original key of C major this flat right here is actually e so I'm gonna do is I'm gonna click on all the E's in the entire song so that's also up here and then move all of those notes down by half step because the e in this scale went down by half step and I'm Austin all said the scale here has a b-flat here and in this key of C there are only beef naturals so I want to do is I want to click on all this B's in the entire song which are happens to be none but if there were any you transpose all of those down a half step also and do that for all of the differences between your major and your minor key and with a little bit of adjusting here's a Mele now [Music] [Applause] okay I think you all saw this coming we're going to sample this and it's gonna be lit here we go I'm really liking this I think I might eventually have a bell Mele on top of that but for now it's getting the drums [Music] [Music] k-pops we have so far I'm hearing a bell melody over top of this thing I'm gonna add that in and then let's arrange so the entire range beat is gonna be in the outro but if you liked this video make sure the like button and the subscribe button because I've been doing a lot of cakewalk videos from now on basically only kick what we do is from now on if you if you are a cakewalk user tell me on the comment section and if you've never seen kick off before I'll sue me in the comment section I'd love to talk to you about it it's a really cool DAW and I will see you guys next week Thursday just keep creating let's range [Music] [Applause] [Music]
