Magnet Fishing is Awesome!!! *Valuable Find*

I've got something massive here look at all those bubbles g'day guys and welcome to downtown horn I'm Li the Bondi treasure hunter and today we've got an awesome treasure hunting adventure have come to this place because it was a powerhouse back in the 16th and 17th this Harbor right behind me boats came from all over the world it was packed and the people here were so rich from it you've probably heard of the name Cape Horn on the very tip of South America well it's named after this town and it's not really well-known today but it's a beautiful city so we've come out of Amsterdam we probably won't find as many bikes but what we will do is find something you always know it you never know what you're gonna find but we go for history today hopefully we get some but welcome to Horan let's go and see what we can get and I want to say thanks to Gage and pity little fans over in Australia for doing a little shuckers sending me a video that was awesome this video is dedicated to you you I'm just gonna tie this around here all right let's go magnet fishing I'm just gonna drag it along here I reckon people for modern stuff it's always good to drag along here people always sit on these edges and you know tend to drop stuff so we'll see let's see if they've dropped anything today and they have they've dropped oh that is oh it's a bluetooth speaker oh my god check that out I just found a Bose Bluetooth speaker like the first cars down here someone was obviously sat at the edge listening some music and it all went wrong I wonder if that still works I don't know some of these are waterproof so maybe maybe it could still work I will keep that that's super cool I got something over here already feels like big mud here there's definitely some stuff under it because there's so much history here it's just about getting down past it looks like I can't really get it on that cast it might take a few cars well this definitely some things pulling at the magnet I'm getting a few bites get the mud off we've got something on there let's see what we got what is that looks like a white of her like a dumbbell or something it is there we go we've got a dumbbell sir we can we can get a workout I think that's a dumbbell it could be mistaken actually it looks like it's a boat artifact it is a boat artifact it's a it's a pulley so that's cool we're at I don't think it's old but it is what we're after which is boating history we're on the right track just not the right era cool find check this out I just put this down over here this cog wheel and I've noticed that someone else has been magnet fishing right here I went to dump it in the spot and look what they've got up here the exact same thing that I found two of them together sometimes it's almost better when someone's been magnet fishing before you because they clear out all the rubbish but we'll see because we're trying to get through so much history we want to get to the old layers anyway so hopefully they took it a bit of the modern stuff away for us and made our job easier [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] this is just junk oh no it's a bike pedal not the whole bike oh there we go I've moved out on to the jetty here where you can see this tower behind me has been here since the 1400s and all the ships used to dock at this exact location they built the jetty exactly where it used to be back in those days that's the entrance to the harbor so I've just moved out a bit and we're gonna try here okay first cast at the new spot let's see if we have as much alike as last time and get another speaker oh it looks like I'm good absolutely nothing on here come on beast get it back out there and do your job maybe I don't have anything don't like a head something nope it's very different to Amsterdam that's for sure I don't think I've ever done that in Amsterdam three casts or nothing well after about five cars this is what I got out of the harbour although this spot was beautiful it was absolutely MDOT's nothing here is so clean which is great to see but we're gonna go to more spots and that I picked out on the map and hopefully we can find something more I'm sure we will but a place what a day I'm enjoying this it's great [Music] I was just riding by here and I saw these cool houses here check them out I'm thinking all these ships all over them they're really old you can see this one is from 1573 and whenever you get old buildings like that usually you get old water so I'm gonna try this little spot down here with the with the magnet fish and I can see those bricks down there they look really thick and old I'll just zoom in for you guys they look a lot older than the modern ones further ahead down there so I think this is the old area and I'm gonna try just the one here's the next spot I wasn't gonna come here but I saw and I thought yeah that looks cool so let's give it a go gonna be careful not to slip in it's super steep down here and I know that water's cold there's something big under here that I've got too big to plot one-handed okay it slipped off we'll try it again I don't know why but I like this spot I feel like get something good here whoa oh my magnet just got ripped down and my feet always slipped up I don't know what it is it could be even be a sunken boat down there it's coming with me now look it's loose just got to keep my grip look at my foot it's just on the edge down there trying to pull this in if I go gonna have to grab that Road I've got something massive here look at all those bubbles it's slipping but it's moving at the same time it's really deep down in the mud it's coming I'm pulling one-handed so I have fallen I gotta hold the rope here but I really need two hands okay you have to risk it and go two hands whoa I almost come undone there okay we're back on Oh loosen it up by bouncing it out but it really doesn't want to count I don't know what it is that down here it is massive sipping get a look from up here let's try and pull it up this way oh that works that works I've got it now what are we got what have we got we've got you know what we've got here we go I don't know what this is this is a street sign whole street sign down there okay now let's get this bike that's down there alright let's get this thing out of the water look at it that is the most ancient black you ever saw look at all the barnacles on it [Applause] I'm gonna have to come down don't have to come down around and get it oh it's crazy have a look at that thing man that is crazy what a blank look at all those barnacles on it oh it's even got a fishing lure there that is crazy just when you think you're finding nothing and you're in Amsterdam and you're not gonna find any bikes look what your fine it looks like it's straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean set check out all these Mallis all these muscles all over they must have been down there for years check out big they are I mean they're not even small and they're all over like look up here a whole wheel that's like a crazy piece of artwork and then I even pulled this this lure off of it which got stuck on there well I think Molly Malone will be happy with the muscles on this bike but let's go to another spot there's a little map I was looking from the 1600s and I had this bridge on it and the bridge is still there today so I want to go check that spot out I think it could be cool so let's do it continue on with the adventure all right we've come to this new spot and I really like it so here is the bridge and there has been a bridge here since the 1600s possibly 1500s but I think it was further out there but look at it's nice and empty there's no high rails so I can magnate fish super easy it looks like people are getting on and off their boats so we might get some modern stuff as well there's no one around so it's nice and quiet for filming and I got this whole other canal here which is also really old let's get magnet fishing man I'm excited about this I think the bridge was here not a thing this place is so clean compared to Amsterdam [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] I think I'm breaking records here I've never done so much Magna fishing and only guy that I musta done 15 cast just now it's so clean here it's insane time to move on how does this scene this bridges looks pretty old and I think it was also in the map so I'm gonna give this a try doesn't look like it was flat before I think that other area was dug out and made perfectly flat so all the history is ripped out of it so we had no chance but this one looks actually pretty good so what a what a pitcher a spot let's give it a go [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh my God look at that it looks a lot but it weighs a ton Oh give me a head spin oh I might be having a seat on that thing that's for sure [Music] I just can't believe how clean these canals are it's insane we've been looking high and far but we're gonna have to keep going because this ain't the spot either it's good that it's clean but it's not good for our magnet fishing adventures here looks like a good spy got a bridge here I got a little old tunnel over there so I think I'm gonna check this spot out and hopefully get some older stuff gonna go up here under these tree oh look we've got a bike rack you know what that means by potentially for finding a bike oh look at that I can see in a row be down wonderful of Roby's got metal in it they are a cool frisbee look at that please be magnetic that's not magnetic I need it I need a grappling hook all those people that said you need to get a grappling hook now is the time you are so right dammit this might not look like much but I've just kind of got this bit of metal and I'm gonna make a grappling hook and see if I can get the air Roby by dropping it down like that it's perfect so let's give it a shot then we're gonna drag this along the bottom and hopefully with a bit of luck we're gonna grappling hook and a roadie let's look here we go come on oh my gosh look at that first go first go come on stay with me I've got to be very sly turn that down look at that first guy I couldn't even see it down there that was just pure luck stuck with us probably the best find of the day I did actually lose in a row B but it wasn't a row B I found anyway so now we got another one it's really muddy here I just want one artifact you know just one after all this effort but it's really hard when you've got such deep mud to get it anything that's a couple of hundred years old it's gonna be sunk so down deep in it all right let's try under this bridge there I kind of want to drag it all the way across from the entrance across the front of it it's actually like a rocky bottom as well I can feel all the bricks under the bottom I'm just dragging on bricks here there's no mud here let's pull it up nothing there nothing there at all let's do a trickshot we'll try and actually throw it into into and under the thing not bad not bad see if it's deeper under there I'm surprised actually how little I'm getting like even under there you think someone's gonna throw something off it they must clean it out but I've got absolutely nothing metal sticking to it at all he is just no good and looking anything same as ever in horror and then I've got one last secret spot I want to go to I don't have to be anything they're probably not giving a history but we're coming towards the end of the day one more spot let's do it I did some research on the map and this used to be a very busy port even though there's no one here now it used to be a very busy port and an entrance to the city via the waterway just up there on that corner the whole street used to be a canal so this was a busy canal and hopefully we'll find something let's give it a shot and that way we know it's always part of the adventure and I've got something here to look like really deep down I wasn't gonna film but I got something in the middle of nowhere here okay joining guys here we go one-handed with it I can't believe we've got anything here it just goes to show my motto is right anything could be anywhere look this is an empty empty canal there's no buildings around it there's only trees and I'm down here I got something absolutely massive I'm pulling with one hand I don't know I can't see anything I just saw something turn over then just gonna pull it up with one hand I'm sloshed and slidin down I didn't slide into action what are that looks like that looks like you don't want to use everyone you know what this is second bike of the day I'm sure of it I think I just saw a tire let's go that's it that's a wheel there all right we're gonna have to go I kind of see where the edge is here cuz the ground so thick all right think I'm on the edge here oh gosh almost went in there that's the very very edge we got ourselves in black she's an old one too stinging nettle we got it here we go fresh out of the canal bike number two oh she's been down there a long time look at the wheels it's all crazy all the spokes are gone from here it just goes to show anything could be anywhere so from the all the canals of horror and thanks for watching guys it was an awesome adventure we didn't get the artifacts that we're after but sure hunting is always a blast and I appreciate your comments and
