MAGNET FISHING 194 YEAR OLD WELL IN GEORGIA

[Music] [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] me [Music] it's like water's about 10 foot deep right now yeah no nothing yet i think you might have the one well that nobody ever dropped a gun down another clean water down there it looks like right nope nope nothing that time oh yeah we got a little metal clip there c-clip or something probably fell off a wagon here more than likely i'm kind of crazy that's not getting muddy or cloudy from dropping that magnet in there yeah it must be right right down here on the rock but it's still very very clear you got something you got a piece of iron hmm maybe an old um i don't know i thought it might have been a nail at first maybe all right big i don't know i said it there right there [Music] i know i wouldn't have been wanted to be the person uh digging all this no it's all dug by hand this is all hand dug you can see the scrapes on the side something right there let's see what we got no maybe not i thought i had it click or felt it click onto something but we got something paint can [Music] oh this is pretty cool oh man look at that it's a uh it's a pot yeah it's an old chamber pot where they were using the bathroom and then dropping it no i don't know that's cool yeah it's it's it definitely is an old uh so now what if that was um old stoneware like very early stoneware yes probably if they used to dip water out of and it came off the rope the rope came off and probably so yeah wonder so i bet that's part of that right there yeah yeah that's the part of that handle yep that's it i wonder if that was a pot they used to like i said retrieve that water and it just rusted finely i still can't believe how clear the water is in there uh hitting the bottom i'm glad you haven't gone down in here yet man that's a good stuff on the bottom i got all the equipment i go down there in five seconds well not with me but i got all the stuff i'll go down there in two seconds when uh we had um army mountain warfare course in vermont they had holes like this dug uh so they had wells about this deep and then we'd climb down in there and pretty good flashlight right here yeah yeah it is yeah oh low light oh lights are they've they've ramped it up they've become a major competitor they've been a sponsor of my channel for a little bit oh really yeah they send me flashlights to to use and test out for them there's a lot of deposits i'm sure it's from that that part right there yahtzee oh sweet looks like a pair of shears that's exactly what no the gardening tool [Laughter] what the hell i think i think aaron seeded this this doesn't look like it's been down here very long nope somebody i think accidentally dropped that in there yeah yeah they were made in china still has the uh plastic on there yeah all right well we saved it from the well let's get this back in here [Music] you have a like a hard bottom like a rock yeah okay the bottom feels firm it doesn't feel like it's sandy or anything which is good because whatever's down there won't have sank too far i don't see anything [Music] get what this is maybe like 500 pound full magnet um i've got one that's a thousand pound full magnet but i lo i had one his thousand pound pool but i lost it on the side of the uh steel bridge old steel bridge it's stuck to the steel bridge that's the steel bridge and there was no getting it off something on there yeah hammer time hammer oh hammer head there it is definitely not one of those worlds you would want to uh find without a cover and a rock wall around it definitely not definitely not nothing but a bunch of leaves and twigs over the top yeah yeah i worry about that going some of the places that i've gone with open wells is you know little or somebody maybe thought they were covering it up with a piece of plywood or something you know 30 years ago fall right into it my plan is to get an old 40s or 30 miles truck take all this off and put just the cab with the front end over it yeah you know prop the hood up and then run a pump from there up through the radiator with the you know water coming out yeah that's cool that would be badass and more more pieces that pop that is [Music] better get uh one of those lights you put under your dock put it on the string and throw it down there oh yeah you know just just to provide some visibility and whatnot and then maybe i don't know how there might be something down there you see like well why am i not getting it right and yeah so like when you're talking about those wells and stuff talk about falling in the first thing i think of i'd be wearing a harness and i'd be strapped to a tree you know what i'm saying like just even if it's way over there and then you have enough equipment on you to where you can shimmy yourself back out just to where you don't die because you know the end of your channel there but yeah just saying hey that's a great final episode right he went out with the bang that's i guess good water really good water and we'll do our round up real quick we have our now complete pot some assembly required we have our garden tool that was dropped in there just a few days ago it looks like and the old hammerhead that's pretty nifty right there i wish i knew exactly how old this was that's a that's a cool find and then more miscellaneous iron all right everybody i hope you enjoyed magnet fishing the old well with me today
