Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
That was a pretty cool edit he did where he demonstrated MagSafe.
I agree, having to remember 3 extra dongles every time you travel, especially if you do it as often as Casey, is a pain.
It's not a great day for Tim Cook when people like Casey start noticing that Microsoft is more inventive in the space. All Apple has done since losing Steve Jobs is removing usability features in favor for smaller size...
Also, was this today's vlog or just a bonus?
CASEY NEISTAT OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED HIS RETIREMENT/BREAK.
"I see you next time when Apple comes out with a new laptop"

To sum up: the best computer is the one you already own as long as it's working properly. In addition, the best camera is the one on you. Alos, the best drone is the one you've already got (if you are lucky enough to own one)
Aside from seeing Marlan happy, it was a pretty bare vdeo.
Just imagine what a BEAST of a machine the "used toytota" computer he could've bought if he'd gone the Windows route.
my heart stopped, but then it started again
Wait isn't that desktop running the exact same OS?
How is it worse?
As an Apple fanboy I really enjoyed this. Kind of expected him to just rip it out of the box and say "cool got the new MacBook" and be done so was surprised when he made a longer video on it. Anyway.
Finally someone who points out the weight/size. Everybody bashes Apple for making their products thinner and lighter every iteration, but when it comes to laptops it's a really good thing if you're travelling everywhere with it.
Phones? Eh, I couldn't care less, but I would never say no to a lighter MacBook Pro. I've got the 13" 2015 model, it's super light but it's still a bit of an annoyance in my backpack.
Also let me just explain the USB-C/dongle thing, the idea is actually the opposite of what we have to do now. Right now he needs to buy all these dongles, but the hope is that in the next couple of years there won't be anymore dongles because everything will be on USB-C.
Put it this way, I don't need that HDMI port on my MacBook, why does it have to be there? I hardly need those Thunderbolt ports either. Why can't they be replaced for ports that I need? Well, now it doesn't matter, because everything (In the future at least) plugs into USB-C. HDMI discriminates USB devices, HDMI has a single use that I've never wanted or plan to use, whereas USB-C doesn't discriminate anything and has infinite uses. Some would argue that they could have simply added the USB-C ports alongside all the others, but then other manufacturers have less of an incentive to start using USB-C too, they'll continue to use the old ports because they still exist. It's irritating, but it should speed the process up of adopting USB-C.
But, anyway, love the way he's cutting between the MacBook and smashed up laptop lol. Not the first time he's done that, it's hilarious (Oh look there's Oscar).
