Mac vs PC - ROLE REVERSAL feat. iJustine

so justine's in town she's visiting and my writers actually came up with a really special challenge for us they have given us each a pc and a mac to determine once and for all which one is truly the easiest to use but with a twist why am i on the pc side my name is over here you get the pc and i get the mac what were they thinking here we go and there's a pen there's a pen why do i get the gummed up mouse pad look at this thing it's this guy it has like i i want to believe these are food stains wow uh we've got we've got pen so in these envelopes are our challenges i believe it is ten tasks that we have to complete using let's just say our non-preferred platform yeah i mean it's not like i've never used windows i basically open up fortnite i'll open up overwatch i'll open up minecraft or from the web oh so wait a minute why do i need an apple password just to install an app okay i'm installing slack now i don't know where it's going to start this uh launch pad has a uh a thing here okay well i guess i'll how do i right click hold on i think i have to turn on right click i remember this is there a usb on this this monitor do you guys not do that do i shut it off i shut it off oh my god wait am i allowed to give her a hint did i turn it off no hints i wanted to give you a hint too but i didn't want to move a file from a flash drive to the desktop see now i do know that the usb drives are on the back of the imac because it's an all-in-one thought that we had that too title document no oh crap that why did a spotlight search for document open the keyboard options now windows search not great spotlight generally better that was not a good showing not a good look for it hey no cheating well no seeing that you're using wordpad isn't going to help me um sheets is that what no it's not called sheets oh keynote yeah yeah essentials oh my why can't you click essentials and have it show you other essentials how is that pages pages wait isn't it already why do i have to install that see even i it's you heard it i didn't say anything it came it was already installed on my computer why is that not installed i didn't read my directions i have to save this as a pdf can do you guys print pdfs or no is that not a thing do you guys not do that like you go into print and you can click oh print is pdf and it prints it out as a pdf on do you guys not do that i'm john okay maybe this welcome to pages no no no just open create a document thank you other formats okay add a title uh there's no pdf option insert what do you mean by title do you mean like a header okay but there's no option to say this is a pdf insert a page number how do you just do a header rich text like there's a look there's a header control thing you can control how big it is that's the um i'm not gonna say anything okay there's no option to save this as a pdf i'm very upset create a new section wait do you know how easy it is to make it when you click text it creates a text box why doesn't it give me options to make a pdf on a mac super easy you know that in word you can just right click on text and you can change all the properties you want about it this is the problem is not that you can't enable right click on a mac you can it's just it's not designed for it so nothing useful happens when you right click that's why mac people don't think that right click is important we control click control freaks up i can probably make a pdf but not wordpad i'm looking at i can't save this is a pdf i am typing a paragraph right now i'm so mad my wonderful experience using the macintosh that's right i'm gonna call it a macintosh i'm gonna do that on purpose how is picture not under insert right my friend linus renamed right click reni i just i'm really upset that this won't like export as a stupid pdf like i'm stuck on this james can suck it but i did there we go i renamed it 85 for pdf expert pdf to word free has one star though and that's from the same uh company this is unfair it's not letting me save this as a pdf it makes me i'm not ahead of you i know we're all just to be very clear we're on the same step do you know how to do this on here yes really of course yeah but it's not am i doing the wrong thing why is it not here shouldn't i be able to print it to file right right am i this is so red like this is there's no option to export to pdf right don't you think that one slide how is this not working i am asking myself the same thing but how was your how was your pdf experience over there uh well eventually once i figured out how to use it it was relatively fine hmm okay well why don't we just give justine a pass on that one yeah okay okay so now we have to download a picture of ourselves from the web i am actually sweating me too okay oh boy what picture will we choose um how about a picture of me holding up my book in front of a mac wait do i need to save the screen take a screenshot oh oh you're in trouble you're in trouble okay i need a force it's probably like it's probably like command option some stupid demented wait i ended up did i just get this hold on hey technically that's a screenshot is it wait what did you do what did you put command p no that's that's a screenshot save as pdf what did you do that's a screenshot i'm counting it save bam screenshot it's a oh it's 14 pages that's definitely not a screen that's a screenshot that is not a screenshot it is not a screen that is a screen you're you're printing from a program no that's not a screenshot and that's not the right screen shot command is that a screenshot that's not a screenshot look at it look at it he printed in an application he printed out all the processes into a pdf not a screenshot that is not a screenshot oh you're only able to do this because of the one particular thing i asked you to screenshot and if i had asked you to screenshot something else it wouldn't work would not have worked so nope take a screenshot of your current cpu is that my current cpu usage well i mean i'm going on your next step oh my goodness but that's not that's not fair though put your documents while you're in there picture you for stop the text editor i'm counting it you know what we'll let the viewers be the judge we will was that a screenshot yay or nay definitely was not guys don't let him don't let him lie stop the text editor program what is it even called um okay put your compressed folder on the flash drive and of course it made a copy of it because it's garbage i'm shutting down my computer what hold on oh wait where's the truck let me stop my recording first because it's oh it's not the trash can anymore it's an eject thing released a document from the machine uh uh uh hold on trash uninstall delete slack hold on a second uh uh uh where's the app store did i do oh shoot i restarted instead of shut down i shut down instead of restarted i can still win this how do i find stuff that is installed i'll just search for it uh slack holy crap the thing next to it doesn't give you the option to delete it why does it not give you the option to delete it what is this right click garbage garbage garbage no yes yes garbage hold on uninstall delete slack are you done yes damn it it's okay i got stuck on a stupid pdf i got this was rigged this was absolutely rigged turn off the computer well technically my computer restarted so we may still wait shut down but no now i don't have a patch shut down obs is active wait oh uh no i don't want to exit obs uh uh uh stop recording um shut down no i cancelled it no this was painful in so many so many ways this was so much harder than i was expecting this is the simplest i could not make a pdf and to be fair i was rigged the pdf was rigged in fairness to you as far as i know that should have worked it should have so where did you get hung up at like what was your difficult task i couldn't figure out how to uh add a header to my document okay you know what we should fire the machines back up let's do it okay let's chat about let's chat about some things that went wrong i don't know if i was doing this properly okay but to take a screenshot yeah i print i printed the screen yeah and then i went into paint yep yeah and is that what people still do no okay so now you use a snipping tool um is that a built-in thing yeah and then you just click new and then you just drag it around whatever you want oh really yeah so if you want the whole screen sure boom there you go snipping tool and then you can highlight or you can look at that like draw on it or whatever and then you can send it to someone or save it or whatever i'm still stuck in uh like 10 15 years ago using paint oh i used actually sharex it's a third party program and what it does is you can create all kinds of different screen capture hotkeys and then you can have it save the file upload to imager copy that entertainment clipboard so you can just paste it and send it to someone or you can upload any other videos you want or you can not you can skip any of those then you can have it either selection like that or just have a little screen or even scroll like down along my page is really but where are you trying to add a header nowhere in here was it supposed to add a header he said add a title and i asked him in a header and he's like yeah but like so he screwed me too i might have thought you said heading i've got a heading for you out the door i can't believe i just lost that i just can't believe how long it took us to figure out how to print a pdf you know there were no winners today really were there no not really i feel very defeated well thank you gg no re yeah i never want to do this again except you already suggested final cut versus premiere oh wow yes which would actually be amazing could be me
