Hi everyone, I'm Eric with MIDAS welcome to MUSIC studios. In this quick tip on the DL32 digital stage box, I'm gonna go over the process of hooking it up to front of house and then taking a split to another console. Now here's my M32, which is serving as my front of house console and in the middle here is my DL32, which is on stage, and I'm gonna be taking a split from the DL32 over to my M32R which is in monitor world which is also on stage so let's go ahead and get started. First I want to select my M32 at front of house to be the master that everything syncs to so I'm gonna go over here to setup, and I'm gonna go under the global tab and select internal for my synchronization. Just remember that the master console is going to have control over the outputs on the DL32. Now I'm going to connect my AES50 Port A on the M32 to the AES50 Port A on the DL32. Next connect to port B on the DL32 to port A on my M32R. Now let's setup the routing. I'm gonna go to the routing menu on my M32 here and select AES50 A 1-8 all the way to 25 to 32. Next on the M32R I'm gonna go to the setup and select AES50 A for my sync. Now go to the M32R and open up the routing menu, and for the inputs select AES50 A 1-8, all the way to 25-32. Now let's go ahead and check for signal. I'm gonna go ahead and plug a mic into input one here on my DL32. Check, check, check Alright I see it firing on my channel one here on my front of house console, which is the M32. There we go, and I see it firing check hey hey, right here on channel one on my monitor console which is the M32R at stage end. Now I want to make sure I have a full channel count so I'm just gonna go ahead skip all the channels in between and hit up input 32. Here we go I wanna make sure it's showing up on channel 32 here, check check There we go I got signal firing on M32, come over to my M32R and there it is check hey hey, there it is on my M32R. So there you have it, it's that easy to hook up the DL32 and to take a split to another console. Hope this video helps for more in depth tech specs and media, visit Midasconsoles.com I'm Erik, and thanks for stopping by MUSIC studio. See you next time.
