Luxury Cruise in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam (A HUGE Surprise!) #vietnam #halongbay

we are in halong Bay in Vietnam we cannot believe that we're here and we can't wait to show you how beautiful this place is and I will be taking you on a tour of this luxury boat that we staying on 2 hours and 15 minutes the marina here in helong Bay is actually quite modern we were a bit surprised about how many modern buildings there are at the moment we're just waiting in the checkin area for our boat to get ready so we'll be catching a tender out to our boat because the boat we're going on is too big for the marina we are just about to board the tender boat which is going to take us to the larger cruise boat so very excited come on let's go I've never been on a cruise before so I'm so excited and can't wait [Music] oh my gosh they're throwing petals down oh my god wow what a welcome so far so good it's a really nice looking boat and not too many people thank you thank you hello [Music] cow thank you very much smells really nice much appreciated Che really nice watermelon juice wow look at this view absolutely stunning the staff seem really so far so yeah really excited about this so you got the big boat but only [Music] 14 we have just got our room key and now we're going to check out the room so very excited to see that just had a look out on the deck so stunning the weather is absolutely amazing hello welcome to our room come on in check out this view I think that's the first thing that's going to hit you as soon as you walk in here so let's just go straight out and check out this view all right let's go wow check this out say hi to Ella hi what are you thinking so far Ella oh my God it's absolutely beautiful this balcony I think we're going to be using it a lot I think this balcony is going to make us really hungry though because I can smell food cooking upstairs smells like fried spring rolls and tamaron sauce all right come check out the bathroom all right so we have a shower over here it's a pretty good size full size but what I can't wait to use is this check this bath out absolutely beautiful this bathroom is really nice check out the bed firm but I think it'll be okay so when we booked this cruise we booked a family Suite so it was supposed to have two beds I can see one bed is that Ellis bed over there I don't know I found another room if you come here it is uh hidden through a secret passageway through the Wardrobe I feel like I'm in nania all right let's go and have a look all right let's keep going ropes very nice okay but if I open this door there's another room welcome that is the weirdest thing ever but anyway it works Bed the outdoor seating I've just opened the blinds here so come and check out this [Music] view this is definitely like a pinch myself moment okay I'm definitely going to be enjoying this just a bit later but first it's time to go to lunch hi Ella hello okay we're heading to lunch now and I can smell it it smells absolutely [Music] delicious so there's a boat selling bunch of food and they have these nets so that they can lift up the food to different levels on the boat which I find so funny just in case you don't want to buy the stuff on the [Music] boat we're heading out on some bamboo boats apparently going to explore some caves and the Limestone landscape oh my gosh I can see the bamboo boats they look so cool let's go looks like everyone's getting off [Music] we just went through this cave and then out to like a lagoon and it was absolutely beautiful the light is just shining on all the cliffs it's so pretty so you can either go on the bamboo boat or you can kayak and when we got to the cave there's actually such a strong current that all the kayaks are not moving and kind of piling up cuz it was going this way and luckily we were on the bamboo boat and didn't have to do any work but I feel kind of bad for our driver but it's been such a great trip thank you we're back in the boat welome back welcome back welcome back thank [Music] you I'm going to be giving you a tour of the whole bird so here we have the reception really nice lounging area here and this is where we've served our welcome drinks and also given lots of information about the activities here we have the spa and SAA and here we have a long Corridor of all the different rooms and our room is there and then the next one over cuz we have joining rooms and then we have this beautiful staircase with an absolutely beautiful view every time I go up and down the staircase I just yeah I can't stop staring at the view it's so pretty and on this level you have some more rooms here and then it goes out to the beautiful restaurant area okay so here you have the restaurant and bar and as you can see there's Windows everywhere so when you're sitting having dinner lunch breakfast you can just look out absolutely beautiful then here is where the buffet is served and here we have a deck where there's also a jacuzzy and there's some seats out here so you can just relax have some drinks such a beautiful view oh my God and then up there you can see you have the upper [Music] deck Okay so so now we have the upper deck and you can see the captains are there hello and here you have another bar up on the top deck and it's all these lights it's going to be so pretty at night I can't wait and beautiful 360 views of the amazing scenery around okay and then you have another deck where you can just relax on the sun beds and enjoy the view great for turning and relaxing okay and then you have another staircase and now we are back to the second floor so that is a tour of the entire [Music] uh how to make one of the best food in Vietnam it's named z Fri [Music] Singo chicken no do don't no okay we mix everything together this one look like a color of flower in Spring that's why we call this one is spring low bro bro bro we got one small spring low [Music] here three two one go dancing yeah who is the best dancer don't look at there who is the best dancer who [Applause] the that's my spring R sock okay so we look up please I'm trying to catch squid so we're using a lure and we're bobbing it up and down so we'll see how we go I have a rod now so again yeah just jiggling it up and down it's actually a fishing rod made from bamboo The Lure with the prongs you can see there and apparently if you like Jiggle It Up and Down the squid think that this is a fish the manager just showed us from 4 days ago some people caught some squids so hopefully all right I'm going to put it in and see if I can try my luck here I'm getting a little bored already already you be here only 2 minutes not even I have caught some roope and got a tangle no I have noide oh no it's like dead stock we about 10 minutes into the squid fish fing so far I've nearly caught a dead fish not a lot of action happening right [Music] [Music] now how's the coffee kie yummy good morning we have just woken up to this amazing view out here Ella's still asleep so let's go and see what she's up to next door good morning I made you breakfast darling somebody doesn't want to get up this morning hello where are you I think we better leave her alone all right we're going to go and head up to the top deck now and we're going to go and have a look at this view but it looks really beautiful out here this morning it was just really nice waking up with that view we purposely left the curtains open all night it's a little bit windy and a little bit cloudy today but it looks so mystical especially when you look in between all the mountains and the Rocks it's like this sort of hazy sort of foggy look and it's just absolutely beautiful it is our first cruise that we've ever done and I think the reason why we've been put off doing cruising is just the sheer number of people that are usually on cruises we do tend to just like our own space but yeah it doesn't feel crowded at all considering there's only 14 cabins so like 26 people or so plus the staff even the top deck it hasn't been that busy like there's plenty of seating and the boat is huge Boutique luxury cruises I think that's definitely our style what an amazing landscape and you really get an appreciation for how large this area actually is when you're cruising around there are around 3,000 islands of cars mountains sticking out of the water it looks stunning especially with all the green vegetation on them with the blue water it just looks amazing you'll also notice when you're cruising around here in Hong Bay that there are a lot of oyster farms so you can see those here in the background that was a long horn that was loud W yes she is we're just talking about her she has aisen when I finally work up I'm like oh my God I need to get to the top deck I'm going to miss it so yes I'm here well I'm glad you're here we're just talking about you and that you'd have to watch the Youtube video to see what you missed yeah that is true it's kind of fun to check out all the other boats and see what their rooms look like and see what their pools look like also you hear about how crowded the bay is as well and people often talk a bit negatively about it that it's so busy but I actually think it looks really cool while the different boats cruising around it almost adds to the atmosphere here I think and it's not that busy and to be honest I kind of like having boats around you know just in case a Titanic incident happens obviously it wouldn't be an iceberg it would be like some floating Rock but you know floating Rock right one of the highlights of this cruise is definitely been this amazing balcony last night we grabbed a couple of cocktails and we came down here and we just sat and just looked at the beautiful silhouettes of the mountains the boats were all lit up with lights so it was just really gorgeous just sitting here and enjoying the surroundings and then this morning we grabbed a cup of coffee and we came in sat on the balcony and just enjoyed watching the scenery go by we would definitely recommend doing this cruise and if you have the time I would definitely suggest at least two nights so that you have time to do the activities and you also have some time for relaxation bye
