hi okay let's start my name is Bailey and I'm colorblind it was a genetic thing it runs in my family my parents aren't colorblind but my grandpa is and oh here comes my best friend her name's Elizabeth well we color Liz or Lizzie or Eliza I kinda I was color blonde happen in preschool okay class gather around gather around it's time for story time story time we'll be reading today is well all about colors our lives would be so dull without the bright wonderful colors that bring Beauty into the world today's the start of a fresh unit colors Bailey could you please state the color of your beau no it's not red Dana it's it's it's dark gray you're trying to trick me actually Bailey what other colors do you see what what's the color vice chair I'm sitting on that's a bit of a lighter gray actually you're so funny you're obviously joking there's no way that's gray it's obviously pink let's just finish the story and hey let's not make fun of Bailey okay thank you for coming I just have a concern about your daughter I think she might be colorblind what colorblind hmm today in class we were talking about colors and all she saw shades of grey black and white and you don't think she can tell what colors are well that would make a little sense her grandpa is actually colorblind it runs and my side of the family I just want to inform you two about her conditions and maybe it might be a good idea to take her to a doctor and check her out of course we'll go right away thank you for telling us come on Bailey just to read that board up there and tell me what you see that's whatever if I did this by myself I could have been everyone it's all because you how can you even tell what color brush this is because because I'm colorblind oh gotta go I think what you did hey hey I wanted to tell you you shouldn't care what Peter says or what he does I think you did great Thanks you just don't think about it okay no I'm not thinking about that what do you mean when I was little I didn't realize I was colorblind until a preschool teacher we needed out to me and I thought the whole world was just grazed blacks and whites and all these different shades but think I missed out a lot on my childhood because I never saw color and the only things that can make me see color ever is these glasses thinking how everyone else is so lucky to be able to see color without wearing these it feels like my eyes are broken being colorblind is just one of your differences just like I have mine [Music] why hello-o different thought maybe a little makeover it couldn't hurt you know come on wait what's all the buzz what's this I want you to take off your glasses Liz you know that these No just take them off now look everything and everyone looks the same even with my glasses off surprise I had everyone in the school die there for two different shades that only you can see without your glasses off I was thinking it might be fun having everyone see the world that you do you would do this for me well of course you're my best friend and this is that Peter yes I convinced the jockeys guy in the whole school to do this cuff ah hi you're welcome her this is amazing thank you
