Lower Thirds Titles Tutorial | Davinci Resolve 16

[Music] okay to get started I just added a video clip to my timeline that I like to add a lower thirds title to let's begin by going up here to the effects library then open up the tool box and select titles scroll down to where it says fusion titles and I'm just going to expand my panel so that I can see the full titles okay right at the top there's a few 3d lower thirds templates to choose from drag one on to your video track above your clip to preview it if you're not a fan of the 3d one simply delete it off your timeline and then scroll down a little more to find more lower thirds templates okay now let's drive one of these onto the timeline to see how it looks I think this one looks a lot more professional so let's add our own text to it first make sure your lower thirds clip is selected on the timeline then go up to the inspector make sure you're in the fusion tab now in the text box simply type the text you'd like for your lower thirds you can also change the font and all kinds of other things but for the sake of brevity let's scroll down to the secondary text now enter the text you want for your second line keep in mind that your lower thirds will only have secondary tags if you drag one on with two lines lastly you can even change the look of your animated lines by opening up line controls to keep things simple I'll just change the color of my line to red okay and there I have an easy and nice-looking lower thirds template thanks for watching and see you next time [Music] you
