Lords of the Fallen: Kukajin's Full Quest Guide (A Trace of Venom Achievement)

there's a secret companion in Lords of the Fallen that you can summon into boss fights and unlock rewards from that you might have completely missed let's check it out hello everyone in today's video I'll be walking you through the complete two-part quest in Lords of the Fallen revolving around kukin or kajin I'm not sure on that one she's an NPC that like me you may have completely missed on your first playthrough probably due to the fact that you can accidentally kill her by just bumping into her the first part of the quest is saving the Petrified woman she can be found in forsaken Fen by starting from the vage of valade I'll show you how to get there now as you approach you'll hear humming coming from inside of a small cave and if you break open the entrance to it you'll find a woman trapped in stone be careful not to hit her with your sword or accidentally roll into her because she will immediately die failing the quest if this happens you'll at least get her Sword and the Catalyst sitting behind her but in order to do it properly you'll want to cast a radiant healing spell like sanctify healing sigil or cleansing spirit this will free her from her petrified State allowing you to talk to her and listen to her dialogue I would recommend killing all of the enemies in this section of forsaken Fen before even going up to her to avoid accidentally breaking her or dying while mid dialogue after you've listened to all of her dialogue she'll give you a pendant of induration now you can rest at a nearby vestage and she'll teleport to skyrest where all of the other NPCs are at this point you can return back to the cave where you found her to pick up wil Mark's Catalyst the pendant she gave you increases your physical defense and wil Mark's Catalyst which is a radiant Catalyst allows you to slot up to four spells now you should travel to skyrest and you can find kajin sitting on the floor in the main hall this signifies that the first part of the quest is complete now we'll move on to part two called kukin the inv venomed since you saved her from the swamp she's become a companion that you can summon in certain boss fights throughout the story you'll need to summon her in seven specific boss fights where upon completion she'll send you an invoice as asking for payment if you summoned her for a boss but don't pay her after and continue killing more of the bosses on the list you'll fail the quest the first boss you'll need to summon her for is the hushed saint in forsaken Fen make sure that if you end up dying in umbrell during a boss fight and have to restart it that you resummon kachin otherwise it won't count she doesn't need to be alive for the entire fight as long as you summon her and see her in the beginning it'll count defeat the hushed saint with her and then return to skyrest to pay her 3,000 Souls once you reach the pledged knight derla in the Revelation depths summon her once again and defeat the boss this time when you return to skyrest she'll ask for 7,000 Souls pay it and continue on in the story the next boss you need to summon her for is the hollow crow in feif for the chill curse after beating it she'll ask for another 6,000 Souls as payment then head to the Tower of penance to kill tangri or as he's known in his second phase as Reinhold summoning her here will run you 7,500 Souls next you'll want to summon her in the judge cleric fight and then pay her 8,500 Souls after she'll also need to be summoned into the light Reaper fight the one that takes place in Upper krath this one is going to run you again 8,500 souls and last but not least bring her along to fight the sundered Monarch at the very end of the game and give her the final payment of 9,000 Souls after summoning her for those seven bosses and paying her a total of 49,500 souls kugen will have a few final words for you in skyrest before departing ing once you finish talking to her and then rest at the vestage she'll be gone having left behind her entire armor set her weapon and shield and a skull worth 3200 Souls here's what her outfit and weapons look like when they're equipped with the quest line concluded you'll earn the achievement of trace of venom for helping kukin complete her business in morstead so there you go the full guide and the rewards for the two-part Quest I hope you found this video helpful and if you enjoyed it let me know in the comments if you need guides for any other Quest be sure to check the playlist in the outro and description and stay tuned for the new Quest guides releasing soon thank you for [Music] watching can't even say no goodbye I'll be going you know never to you remember my Mo heing on me and I leave in me
