Illuminator Aubrey Armor Set & Weapon Full Guide! (New Radiance Quest) - Lords of the Fallen

part two of the season of rry update for Lords of the Fallen brings three new Quests for armor and weapons a new quest for changing your character's appearance a storage box and skyrest where you can hold 2,000 items new Grievous strikes and more in this video I'll be covering how to complete the radiance quest for the Illuminator aub's armor set and the associated weapon flickering flail but if you're interested in the umbrell and rogar sets be sure to subscribe because I'll be posting guides for those very very soon this Quest can be done at any point during a normal run or any new plus runs but it will definitely help if you have the majority of the vestages unlocked and bosses defeated so that you can easily Traverse around the map to complete these steps and thankfully none of the steps involve any RNG also just in case you're wondering all of the weapons and armor added in this update are permanent so you don't have to worry about them going away all let's get started with step one which is to head to the Tower of penance you can get here backtracking from the vestage of Rosamund or from the leprosarium vestage once you're inside the tower make your way to the very bottom because we're heading to Tank's Boss Arena if you haven't defeated him yet now is a good time to do so because we'll need the key that he drops to start this Quest once in his boss arena there will be a prison cell to the right of his Shrine which you can now open with Tank's key inside you'll find the flickering flail weapon once you grab this before you teleport away head back up the path that you took to get here until you reach the shrine of candles with the Statue of this hooded bearded dude if you try interacting with it you'll be met with three dots so to get the statue to speak to us we need to use the orian valve protection gesture in front of the statue using this gesture will reveal an objective that we need to complete for this specific statue and in total there are going to be six of them in this Quest if you don't have the orian vow of protection gesture teleport to skyrest Bridge and interact with the oran Shrine and this will will get you the emote so the objective of this first shrine is to illuminate Five caran Knights to end their suffering this means you'll need to use the flickering flail weapon while you have the radiant weapon spell active if you don't have this radiant spell you can purchase it from exactor dunmire in skyus Bridge I would recommend leveling up the flickering fla weapon a bunch because its base damage starts out kind of low and you don't want to only be doing like 50 damage to these enemies if you enjoy the weapon and have an extra derum chunk lying around you're free to Max it out but there's no need to do so for this Quest because the chunks are kind of precious and you know super rare I would definitely just recommend getting to level 9 and stopping there now the easiest place to kill those Five caran Knights is the Tower of penance when you enter through the front doors drop down one level until you get to the area with a big staircase that wraps around the room there will be three or four Knights here to kill with more if you drop down further into the tower just make sure that you actually land the final blow on them while your weapon is imbued with Radiance otherwise it won't count also I'd recommend watching the knights after you kill them to make sure their souls drop if you don't end up seeing that purple Soul Thing come out of their body they're going to get back up and try and kill you one more time like what's happening in this clip after you've killed five total carryon nights with your radiant flail head back to the shrine at the bottom of the Tower and interact with it to receive a message that says in Radiance they found Eternal rest that's one Shrine down five more to go before we continue I do want to mention that you can do these shrines in any order you like and if you end up finding an easier spot to farm one of the required enemies go for it the next Shrine can be found in the room where you pick up adbert Vern's key if you're able to start this Quest by getting the flail from the Tower of penance it probably means you've already gotten this key so I shouldn't need to show you how to get it but if you haven't made it that far yet I do have a guide Linked In the description on how to get into this room and get that key starting from the nearby Tower of pentant and right beneath the abiding Defenders Boss Arena is Shrine number two do the orian gesture in front of the statue to reveal the objective which requires you to illuminate 10 Crimson rectors now if you're familiar with the Enemy names in this game you'll realize you just ran past one or probably even just killed one to get to the Shrine and luckily that is the case for most of these shrines most of the enemies are nearby the ones that require you to kill them and the Crimson Rector is no exception starting from a temporary vestage at the end of the bridge from the abiding Defenders boss fight we can run around a corner drop down into the room use the radiant spell and farm the Crimson Rector guy 10 times super easily once you've killed him you can just run out of this room and take a right to head back up the stairs and rest at your temporary vestage to respawn him just like last time time visit the statue to verify that you're done making sure that you see the message in Radiance they found Eternal rest Shrine number three is located between the Tower of penance and that room with the Crimson Rector you'll find a few of those praying enemies standing around the drain beneath the statue in here kill them or just kind of walk past them and then use your Ori inv vour protection gesture to reveal the illuminate 10 holy bulwarks objective this one is super easy if you have a vestage Seedling on you because there's a holy bullwark kneeling right outside this room and to the left of him is a flower bed same as last time use the radient weapon spell and kill him with your radiant flail 10 times to check this Shrine off your list for Shrine number four start at the vestage of blind Agatha and head through the door that requires the Pilgrim's perch key next to the small wooden platform that falls where you need to walk across the pit of enemies you'll find the shrine after gesturing here you need to kill 10 Ardent penitents there's one right next to that vestage that we just started at for you to farm just make sure you destroy that umbral tether thing on him before trying to attack him for Shrine number five start at the vestage of choui and make your way into the scourge sisters Boss Arena the statue that is in front of the two praying enemies is the one we need to gesture at this one wants you to illuminate 15 avow the avow are the basic enemies with those maces that can be found scattered throughout the game but you might as well just kill the two that spawn right next to the vestage of chabou since you need to come back here anyway the first one is sitting on the ground at the doorway and the second one comes running over from the edge of the platform for Shrine number six which is the last one you'll need to go all the way to the room with a dead pure Blade Knight sitting on his throne I'll show you the long way how to get here in case you don't have the elevator activated also I would advise not being an umbrell when you enter the room containing the shrine because there will be two grim reapers chilling there and yeah nobody wants to deal with that for sh use the gesture in front of the shrine one last time and The Last Enemy that you need to kill is the pure blade Knights and you got to do it 10 times a great place to farm this is pretty far into the Abbey of the hollowed sisters at the flower bed right before you enter the room with the Rune of a deer where you fight the rapturous huntress of dusk boss if you've not yet opened this gate to farm them easily you can do so by taking a left in the Boss Arena here running up the stairs and all the way around the second floor until you reach another flight of stairs with a sin piercer and a dog you will run past another sin piercer and a pure Blade Knight then you can take a left at the split path which will take you to the other side of the gate where you'll find a lever to open it this is a super easy farm for the pure blades shout out to the comments in my last video for reminding me of this spot after you've completed the requirements for all six shrines head back to the mans of the hollowed Brothers I'll be starting again from the abiding Defenders boss fight and this time we're going where the stigma of Byron and Catering can be found there's going to be a big hole in the wall here now and inside of this you'll have to fight the ABS and a pair of abiding Defenders after you defeat them check behind the shrine of Aubrey for the whole armor set and a new armor Shader here's a preview of what the full set looks like equipped I think it looks pretty awesome and the quest shouldn't take you that long as long as you've opened up most of the areas and the shortcuts I'll make sure to link the other armor quests in this video's description when I upload them I'll probably have them up in a day or two at most if
