LOL Surprise DIY Famliy SPLATTERS Fun Craft With Barbie and Ken LOL Families Cupcake Squad

[Music] this art class is way where's the detail yeah it's been like hours you guys i have to go any minute now my class is going to start but knowing that you have to come with us actually strut bro mom said she has to come with us it's okay guys my mom should be here any minute i wonder what's holding her up that's okay brothers i'm sure she'll be here we can wait i can't bon bon i gotta go i have to catch up on miraculous ladybug on netflix wow that's a pretty uh wayne reason because art is battle huh how dare you um mommy where are you hello everyone the splatters family is gonna get a mom and dad wish them luck because we don't know how it's gonna turn out let's start with mama splatters she's gonna need a whole new head of hair i've got the perfect hair for her because it's the hair we use for our omg sister splatters splats baby but we are going to need to cut off her hair and i am almost not looking forward to what i'm going to find inside her head because this is an older cheerleader barbie from like the early 2000s i think it should say it on the back of her head oh yeah it's from 1999. we have our art supplies ready of course i'm going to be adding on to that a little later but that's pretty much all i can think of that i need right now i've got some fashion packs ready for the mom and daddy oh including her art teacher outfit and now the first step is up we are going to dunk her head in some hot water remember always use caution when crafting this will soften up the plastic for me to take off her head easier and her head doesn't go all the way down so we're gonna need another glass unless i can kind of tip this over there you go much better but then i do have to hold her there the whole time all right we should be good to go let's check her out we have to be careful not to break the neck peg there you go this is the neck pick she has it's kind of like kendall's and we're gonna start cutting [Music] so i've got her hair as short as i need it and now i get to use this it's the doll planet demolition kit i bought this myself on etsy not sponsored i just love doll planet hair and the cute little gizmos that she has to help with your doll rebooting process i tried using this with my omg makeovers and it was a no go i'm guessing this is made to be used with monster high reroutes and barbie re-roots so i'm gonna see if this works out for me i'm gonna stick this in here and instead of my tweezers i'm gonna use this oh yeah this fits a whole lot better in barbie neck holes and i'm just gonna move it around and see if it takes any of the hair out oh oh oh oh oh yeah i knew that was going to be the issue with older barbies there's a whole bunch of gunk and glue stuck to her hair still let's just keep going all right now let's get the gunk out from inside her head ugh you can kind of see what's going on there let's just grab oh so much glue i don't know if you guys can see how gunky sticky and nasty that is it's like the pliers are sticking to themselves nasty oh yeah filthy monster and there's more where that came from look at that it's not even coming off let's have you guys come down here so we can see all the nastiness together remember we're in this together so you guys see the nastiness too whoa there's more of course there's more oh oh here's a big one there's a big one oh look at that oh my goodness that is just filthy we want to get her nice and oh gosh that looks like a booger ew boogers so that she has room in there for all the brand new hair and we definitely want it to be nice and clean whoa boogers and old hair yay oh it just keeps getting grosser and grosser you know i rerouted the old mcdonald's barbie and she's also from the 90s we turned her into angles and shapes mom she wasn't even this bad this is probably the worst nastiest barbie head i have uh rerouted or de-rooted at this stage even though it's just glue or is it [Applause] we'll just say it's glued so it makes us feel better there's one big chunk in there that is coming out in pieces it's refusing to leave her head it is marking its territory oh right there what glue did they use in 1999 for the barbies and more oh it's like the never ending story [Music] oh whoa that's like a ringlet of glue i think we're going to need to disinfect this lysol wipe check 70 alcohol check i'm gonna get this in a little spray bottle let's have one more look at the nastiness clean off our pliers pick up the rest of the nasty hair [Music] and i'm going to spray it with the alcohol and leave it on there so it could dry and kill any germs and same with her head let's take a cotton swab spray it with the alcohol and i'm gonna swoosh it in her head [Music] get some more in there and just let her air dry while all of that whatever was in that glue and that hair from the 90s comes off next up we need to prep her head i'm going to take some nail polish remover 100 acetone otherwise it's not going to come off and remove her factory paint from her head once that is done i am going to place down some new paint i think peacock teal will be good for her and diva pink [Music] so [Music] so now that i've got the paint on and it's all dry i'm going to take an extra step and hopefully it helps out sometimes it doesn't because barbie heads are really squishy and when you're re-rooting the paint kind of starts to flake off so that step is to finish the paint off with some matte varnish and hopefully we don't get any flakage [Music] and now it's time to start rooting her hair [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Applause] [Music] all right we are done with rooting her hair i am going to glue all the hair down and then i will be back to boil wash your hair but we do have to wait for the glue to dry first in the meantime we can work on dada so i'm going to change up his eye color first mix a little brown and a little bit of yellow and i do realize that's a lot of paint for just his eyeballs but i'm gonna use the yellow later so i'm just gonna mix oh that's yellow is not enough i'm gonna need orange too i want to make it kind of like a a honey chestnut brown kind of like our shoppie doll sister just a little of orange and that should do the trick a little more brown and it's perfectly splendid all right daddy-o let's get in here it's a very tiny space we're working with and if your hand shakes just a little tiny bit you'll cover his whole eyeball oh that looks really orange though probably gonna add some more shading in there with the brown because i don't want him to look like a twilight vampire he looks kind of scary let's get the other eye wait for that to dry and then we'll go in with some of the shading oh gosh yep just a little shake of the hand and i've already covered his pupil i shall fix it don't fret my pet alrighty so i'm gonna go in with a smaller brush and fix his pupils with black paint focus focus focus don't mess it up don't mess it up oh i covered the little eye glimmer glamour a little shine of his eye but it's okay i'll go back in with white paint and fill that in okay i think it did better on that eye than that one so i'm gonna have to clean that one back up with a little bit of brown then i'm gonna do some shading around his iris and then with some white paint i'm gonna put back in the little sparkles a little twinkles of his eyes and i'm gonna really water the white paint down and just re-add a little bit of the shine that he has on the side of his eye and we're done with his face now moving on to his hair it's basically the same colors i used for the mom [Music] uh [Applause] uh [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay so now it's time to pop on the gloves because i am going to be using fabric paint for his outfit and maybe even work on the mom's outfit why not while we have the fabric paint out i say let's work on both now fabric paint is very hard to get off so that is why i'm wearing gloves because i am a messy crafter and once you get fabric paint on anything it just stays there it clings on for dear life so i've got this pink fabric paint and this blue fabric paint i've also got some yellow let's mix up all the colors and see if i need any more then i'll just work on it as we go i'm gonna mix a little bit of the acrylic with this blue just so i have the elasticity of the fabric paint because acrylic paint will crack if you put it on the fabric by itself that's why i like to use fabric paint and if i don't have the exact color i will mix in some acrylic paint so i've got this barbie and ken fashion pack i'm gonna use this dress for the mom and i'm gonna use the shirt and shorts for the dad the set also comes with a headband that i might use for the mom it is a little bit on the smaller side but it's okay because we can have the mom's headband be a little smaller than the little kids or i might just give her a beret like the omg sister everything is spontaneous and [Music] [Applause] [Music] for his shoes i'm going to use these orange sneakers that i found for ken i think they're perfect because they are the color of one of the paint splatters then we can add some details by putting some more paint splatters on there [Music] do [Music] [Music] now moving on to the mom's outfit this time around i'm going to cover her entire outfit with one to two coats of a white fabric paint so that i don't have to use too much of the colored fabric paint [Music] so [Music] foreign [Music] for the mom's shoes i have these perfect hot pink shoes they match the splatters family perfectly let's put those on it's a perfect fit let's just get some paint splatters on there [Music] okay so now that her outfit and pretty much everything on her is done let's go ahead and boil wash her hair that glue is definitely dry then we can give her a nice quick haircut work on her face a little bit and see about accessories so i have boil washed her hair and now she is ready for a haircut [Music] before i do anything on her face i've already actually mixed up the epoxy and if i don't fix her earrings now the epoxy is going to harden and i'm going to make her some little painter palette earrings just like splats bb except hers are not going to be dangly earrings they're going to be little stud earrings [Music] okay cool now we're moving on to her face and i am going to erase those eyebrows and switch things up a little bit not too much of a drastic makeover [Music] uh [Music] [Music] bye uh uh [Music] [Music] i have now decided to build her a french beret so we're gonna need bertha you guessed it and bertha can help us out with that so hers is gonna be a little smaller than our omg doll i'm gonna use the same fabric and we're gonna paint it over with some fabric paint all right so i'm going to build her a small little beret well tiny tommy one just like neon luscious mom she has a beret here it is i'm gonna use this as a size reference [Music] about that much is good then i'm gonna attempt to make a somewhat circle i'm gonna give a little bit for seam allowance [Music] let's fold it over i'm going to need two of these [Music] all right now i'm going to take this other piece that we cut and i'll poke a hole in there about the same size as that one [Music] just a rough sketch then i'm going to make it a little bit better right over here [Music] i would say that's a good enough size for barbie's head maybe maybe slightly a little smaller we made neon licious mom's a little bit bigger because she has the bigger hair with splatters mom you don't need it that big get rid of the seam allowance because we want it to fit her right i don't want it too big then we're gonna poke a little snippet right here and cut this part out [Music] all right and now i'm going to finish off these edges over here with some fabric tacks so we don't get fraying we've already got some fridge right here now fabric tack is a strange little thing here because it melts your nail polish off so leaves me to think there's some acetone in there and it doesn't give the cleanest finish to fabrics but since it's for a doll it's fine otherwise i would have sewn that part and i think i did for omg splats bb okay now it's time to paint this thing with some fabric paint [Music] now it's time to get her head on [Music] oh my goodness would you look at the time all you children here are bright and early i am very proud of you mom where were you mommy you took like two days yeah i need a new typo finally can we get like started or something yes yes we most certainly can get started please everyone take out your art supplies and your painters palettes i brought the new paint brushes mom sweetie did you wash them oh uh no i used them and didn't wash them well then that means we have crusty paint brushes that's okay they probably have their own oh bombo i want to use paint bushes no no look we have some like over there no worries i've got plenty of supplies for everyone oh thank you honey you're a lifesaver and here they finally are we grew the splatters family and gave them parents i don't know about you guys but it's so satisfying giving each lol surprise more family members i don't know i like big families we started off with just little own splatters and then came her little sister from lol surprise but i went ahead and added a shoppie big sister oh yeah let's not forget their little pet she's also from lol surprise then she got a whole omg sister which you guys named splatsbebe and now she's got her parents they've got all the bells and whistles to fit into the splatters family they're very artsy fartsy they have paint splatters all over the place i went ahead and finished them off with matte varnish off camera to seal in all of the work so we don't get any flakage or any fading all they need is a brother hey why not keep on growing the families i have several lol families that i want to grow that i've been trying to do a whole bunch of stories with and i've just been stuck because they don't have the parents to fit in the story so we definitely need to make them some and while they enjoy their art class you
