Living Under and Open Heaven - Part 1

everyone is looking for love and they're desperate to find it we must show them we must introduce them to love to Jesus but this is true we Bible love is all they need everlasting love rise up and go and show them a revival of supernatural life Jesus is love love well hello there I'd love to invite you today into a Bible study with me on a topic that I absolutely love it's living under the open heaven because as a believer you are called to live under God's open heaven just think about it like what is heaven like you know the place where God lives God's very own realm it's so full of love in fact its atmosphere is love there's prosperity and abundance there's just copious measures of His Majesty of His goodness of blessing everything is at peace there's total joy in the fullness of his presence it's just awesome like just think about heaven just for a moment and then think of all that heavenly dimension coming down and falling upon your life what would it be like for you if this open heaven was over you all the time in everything that you do in everything that you put your hands to and everywhere that you go and that is the promise that God has for you as a believer in Jesus Christ you know a lot of times believers they are not aware of what belongs to them and so they might believe that Jesus Christ is Lord but they don't understand that all the blessings in that covenant belong to them do you know that do you know that all the blessings in the Word of God every single promise belongs to you and that you can live under the realm of an open heaven so let's study the word together and we'll just look at all the goodies that God has in his word for you so get your Bibles out and join me right now for this awesome study so that you can have that word in you and be established in what God has for you the first scripture we're going to look at is Deuteronomy 28 we're going to start in verse 1 and it says now it shall be if you diligently obey the Lord your God being careful to do all his commandments which I command you today the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth and all these blessings will come up on you and overtake you and if you obey the Lord your God the Lord will open for you his good storehouse the heavens to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand and you shall lend to many nations but you shall not borrow and so we see in this portion in Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 1 2 and 12 that God speaks about blessings his blessings that will come upon you and overtake you and it says if you obey all of his Commandments and I'm going to touch on that in a little while because I've got a great piece of information that you're going to want to to hear about that particular thing but it mentions about one of the blessings one of the many and you can read the other scriptures the other verses in Deuteronomy 28 to find out a lot of the other blessings but it says in verse 12 that he's going to open up the heavens for you that's one of the blessings out of Deuteronomy 28 that will come upon you and overtake you that he is going to open up the heavens over you and give you rain which speaks of blessing by the way speaks of revival refreshment and the blessing of the Lord and and and just bless all the works of your hands that's under the open heaven blessing well let's continue to read because there's another alternative if you're not blessed you can be cursed so let's have a look at that one in Deuteronomy 28 verse 15 and 23 it says but it shall come about if you do not obey the Lord your God to observe to do all his Commandments and his statutes with which I charge you today that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you the heaven which is over your head shall be bronzed and the earth which is under you iron now that's the alternative it says that if you do not obey all the commandments of the Lord then one of the curses one of the many curses that will come upon you and overtake you is that the heaven will be Rast over you it'll be like bronze it'll be hardened the answers from God the blessings of God will not be able to get through so it's like there's a choice that is before us that we either live under an open heaven or under a closed heaven and open heaven full of blessing and a closed heaven where the blessings can't get through so how are we going to position ourself in to live under the open heaven because I don't know about you but that's where I want to live I want to live under the open heaven so let's take a look at what Mathew three verses 1113 2:16 has to say as for me i baptize you with water for repentance this is John the Baptist speaking but he who is coming after me is mightier than I and I am not fit to remove his sandals he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire then Jesus from arrived from Galilee of the Jordan coming to John to be baptized by him but John tried to prevent him saying I have need to be baptized by you and do you come to me but jesus answering said to him permit it at this time for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness then he permitted him after being baptized Jesus came up immediately from the water and behold the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on him the heavens are open over Jesus Christ he said to John the Baptist he said just baptize me even though I've never sinned therefore he didn't really need to take the waters of baptism right because it was for repentance but Jesus had nothing to repent from so why did he take him he says do this just baptize me so that all righteousness will be fulfilled I have good news for you what Jesus did in his baptism is that he repented on behalf of you you can pen today because Jesus repented for you 2,000 years ago he repented on behalf of all of mankind sin you see repentance had to be in place for the blessing of God to be given to the people of God in order for the covenant between God and man to be completely fulfilled repentance had to be worked out and Jesus did it so when he went into those waters of baptism he did it with you inside of him when he came up out of those waters of baptism the heavens were opened why because in the heavens sin will brass them over it says that out of Deuteronomy 28 we just read it that you're cursed with a closed heaven where the brass Tovar heaven bronze over heaven you are cursed with that when sin is in the way sin brasses over the heavens and the blessings of God cannot come down so when Jesus repented from that then the heavens opened he repented from all mankind sin came up out of the water and the heavens were open over him God said this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased but when he came up out of those waters and the heavens were open that means they're open over you if Christ lives inside of your heart does he live inside of you because if he does then you can live under this amazing open heaven you see it is not based on your ability to become righteous in fact the Bible says that our righteousness is like filthy rags you could not do enough to obey all the commandments there's not one person on the face of the earth that has obeyed all the commandments except for Jesus Christ the scripture says that all have sinned all have fallen short of the glory of God and that includes you but Jesus is the perfect one the perfect one and he's fulfilled all the commandments of God all the ordinances everything that needed to be fulfilled for us to live under an open heaven Jesus has fulfilled it all for you therefore if you've accepted Christ as your Savior and he lives in you the open heaven is over your life I'm so excited about this for you because the way has been made for you to live constantly under an open heaven not based on what you can do to make it happen but based on what he accomplished not only through his baptism but also through the finished work of the cross where he completed this beautiful covenant between God and men so what does this look like for you then what does it look like to live under an open heaven for example over your relationships if you were to live under an open heaven what would that look like so let's think about it if the atmosphere of heaven is love what's going to rain down out of heaven over your relationships won't it be love in fact if you're in a conflict right now in a relationship why don't you just ask God to open the heavens and pour down that love that love atmosphere out of heaven upon that relationship and watch what will happen I love it and what about if there's unrest maybe in your home maybe in your relationships at home there's a lack of pacers unrest that you recognize well just a minute in heaven there is so much peace heavens atmosphere is full of peace the Prince of Peace rules in heaven therefore if I'm living under an open heaven peace can come into the conflict whether it's relational conflict or circumstantial conflict peace can come into it because you are living under an open heaven what about in the area of provision let's say that you have financial needs maybe you've got bill sitting on your counter right now that aren't paid and your looking at them saying I don't even know how I'm going to pay these bills but when you remember that you live under an open heaven Wow that resolves every problem doesn't it because you can say just a minute I am a child of God Jesus lives in me I'm living under an open heaven and in heaven there's no lack there is no poverty there's there's only abundance and prosperity in fact in the glory of God all my needs are met so lord I receive the blessing of the open heaven right now unto my finances and your finances will be blessed what about the works of your hands maybe you're working on a project right now and you're coming up against all kinds of obstacles it's not going as you had hoped it would go and this project needs to be finished it needs to be finished well but you are facing all kinds of difficulties why don't you just take a moment and just say Lord I'm under an open heaven let that open heaven rain down blessings upon this project because you said that you would bless all the works of my hands under and open heaven is that amazing just start thinking about what your life is going to look like living under an open heaven but not only that think about this one everywhere you go you take the open heaven with you so let's say that you're going into a grocery store to do your grocery shopping for the week or you have to drive into town or drive to the work place do you know that you don't leave the open heaven and your prayer closet at home you take the open heaven with you everywhere Christ in you goes the open heaven goes because the open heaven is over him so when you go into your car the open heaven is over you when you're at the work place the open heaven is over you when you're doing your grocery shopping the open heaven is over you everywhere you go the open heaven is there and it also says in John 1 that angels ascend and descend upon Jesus so if he's in you angels are ascending and descending up and down into heaven and back down from heaven up to heaven back and forth upon you because Christ lives in you and so you've got angelic activity all around you I mean we could go on and on and on talking about all the blessings of the open heaven God wants you to know that you can live in the in the blessing of it even like in anointing areas as you're going out to minister when you quote to evangelize on the streets guess what the open heaven is over you when we went into the porn convention in Las Vegas to be a light in the bits of the darkness we weren't afraid of all the darkness in there because we knew that we were living under an open heaven heaven was the portal that was over us we set up a booth right in the midst of the porn convention 25,000 people registered from all over the world to go into that porn convention where there was a hellish atmosphere but not where our booth was in our booth right in the center of the porn convention was an open heaven angels ascending and descending the favor of God being poured out upon us the anointing of God the blessing of God the revelation of Jesus Christ being given to those who came to our table the prophetic actions the healing power everything that we have under an open heaven was made manifest in that porn convention right in the middle of it now just imagine if we never went if we never went to the porn convention who would open the heaven in there who would put a portal right there in the midst of that a hellish atmosphere and bring light into that darkness see that's for you and I to do those of us who carry Jesus inside of us we get to carry this open heaven into the midst of darkness into the midst of the darkest places in society we can open the heaven everywhere you go that's why darkness won't touch you because your citizenship it's in heaven when you became a Christian Christ came into your heart and you became a brand new creation old things are passed away all things have become you well at that moment your citizenship changed you're not an earthly being trying to get into heaven you are a heavenly being now living in the earth your citizenship is in heaven and you can ascend and descend you know you can bring into the earth that heavenly glory because you have full around this property and I declare an open heaven so that anyone that comes into my home anyone that comes on this property is going to be blessed I decreed angels ascend and descend upon the property and we have done that to every single property we own every single one and you know what we have had angelic visitation tangible angelic visitation people come into our home and they start having revelation we have people say wow there's so much peace there's an atmosphere of love and peace in your home and that's because our home is under an open heaven we don't have con like the inside of our home because we're under an open heaven and you can establish that open heaven in your life too what about the home that you live in or you might think well well well I just rent a room inside of a home and and so what can I do about that because someone else owns a home it doesn't matter wherever you are you can open that heaven wherever you live you can open that heaven I remember someone saying to me one time they said well I rent from a Buddhist family I just have one little room I said well is that Buddhist family ever blessed that you live there then because you can open the heaven over their household you can open the heaven over the room that you live in but because of Christ who carries all authority in heaven and earth you can expand that light into the whole house you see anywhere you go you have authority in Christ to open the heavens I just feel such an excitement for you in the spirit I really do you are going to carry this open heaven around with you and you're going to establish it in your workplaces your home's your families your churches your community our community is blessed because we've opened the heavens here and and so many churches are established here now which they never were before there never were churches in this area hardly any and now there's one almost on every street corner in fact they can't even don't even have enough buildings to rent space in in order to have Church in this region and it's because we open the heavens oh when you get skilled to open the heavens number one believe that you have access to the open heaven and number two this is just a couple little keys today decree that the heaven is open over you and everything that pertains to you and I guarantee you that the blessing of that open heaven will begin to manifest if you with intentionality believe the Word of God decree it over your life receiving it into your life I guarantee you that God with intentionality will manifest what you're believing for
